I want to point out that Percy is signing an Xavier/Wednesday Series still, and he is smiling while doing it. He didn’t throw a hissy fit, he wasn’t sulking, he was making a fan happy.
It is admirable to move on from things when they’re over, and to embrace the good things in the present and future.
Unfair losses are a part of life, and Percy has chosen the high road, and I too will take that high road with him.
I can’t wait to see My Old Ass, WSSF, and Whistle. There is a lot to look forward to.

When Everything Burns Review by Big Gold Belt Media with @AroundTheGeek –Synopsis:A female firefighting volunteer gets in trouble for attacking the people she feels are responsible for the wild fires. This is a thoughtful look at the dangers of corporate greed and climate change. It’s film with no real answers but lots of questions., It also feels like something that needs to become a feature.…

Tribeca 2024: "The Stanford Prison Experiment: Unlocking the Truth" Behind Abuse and Power"
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Rating: 4 out of 5. Excuses are often used to justify wrongdoing, avoid blame, or seek sympathy. However, any wrongdoing is ultimately a choice made by an individual driven by their desires. This is precisely why the infamous Stanford Prison Experiment went so disastrously wrong. Those chosen to wield power did not exercise their humanity; instead, they chose cruelty, torture, and abuse.…

Last Thursday I attended a screening of the Luther: Never Too Much documentary at the TriBeca Film Festival. It's taken me a few days to process the experience of not only seeing myself on a large screen (!) but also hearing myself discuss Luther's stroke related to mismanaged type 2 diabetes.
Throughout the film you're treated to a wonderful array of footage of Luther Vandross performing on stage from various tours. Plus, you hear Luther tell his story in his own words and voice.
Knowing and working for such an incredible artist and caring man was truly an honor. He changed my life. In 1995, he offered me a job in New York City as his full-time personal assistant. It’s a privilege to participate in the film and raise awareness of the tragic consequences of mismanaged type 2 diabetes. Seeing the trauma I experienced on my face as I recalled the initial moments after Luther's stroke made me realize how grateful I am to everyone who has supported, encouraged, and partnered with me on my various diabetes outreach efforts through my nonprofit organization, Divabetic. I don't feel I would have been as candid and vulnerable on screen in my interview had I not spent the last two decades helping others affected by, living with, and at risk of diabetes. “Keeping Your House A Home” by learning how to prevent diabetes health-related complications such as stroke, kidney failure, lower limb amputation, and blindness has been my mission for the past 20 years, and it will continue to be.
If you see this documentary or love Luther’s music, you owe it to his legacy to educate and empower yourself about your health.
This documentary is coming to film festivals in Montclair NJ, Miami, FL, Ann Arbor, MI, Martha's Vineyard, MA, Boston, MA, Nantucket, NY, New Orleans, LA, Annapolis, Cape Cod, MA, Carey and Charlotte, NC, Durbin, South Africa, Seoul, South Korea, and Winsor, Ontario.

TRIBECA: BLACK TABLE - The Common Sense Case For Affirmative Action
Black Table excels because it functions as a common-sense explainer for why Affirmative Action works. Providing a level playing field for students helps to highlight the critical skills and experiences we bring into the classroom.
Political rhetoric often clashes with real-world policies. Despite decades of Affirmative Action working and helping to lift marginalized voices, its dismantling was a decades-long project. Black Table, a documentary premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival, highlights real-world success stories for Yale’s class of 1997. With alums of the university showing up to support these programs, directors…
