Whenever I see jigsaw puzzle pieces, I'm always reminded of Banjo-Kazooie.

OMG!! I literally just found a flash drive with a bunch of old Sims stuff on it and used s3pe to search the icons in the library and found almost all the houses and all but two community lots from the world I never completed, but wanted to use in Pickerling Cove!!! Now I've gotten better at building over the years and I haven't touched CAW in months so there is still a TON of city planning left before I can even attempt to retrofit my builds, but OMG! That is so much work I have saved myself! I am so happy!

let's see... with kazooie, it's probably clankers cavern because i just really like clanker. he's so cool and i like hanging out with him.

with tooie, while i feel like it's everyones favourite, it's gotta be witchy world. it's just such a fun world overall that it's hard to pick anything else.

Hand runs over limestone and rock formation, uniquely shaped by time. Etie examines the cave walls, making note of where the ledges started and ended—which would be best for climbing, and what might give way with a bit of pressure. She didn't know nearly as much about water and the sea as Boucheron and Chloé, but Etie was confident she could at least spot a health hazard staring her in the face.

"If the tide rises, we could probably climb up on those ledges..." She remarks to Lapis, the Brodian not too far behind her. "I think we've got a few more hours until that happens, though. We need to be careful of any slippery ones, too."

The sandals she initially wore with her swimsuit are now traded for boots to tread the seawater with, Etie wading through the low tide as she approaches the dark maw that lie at the back of the cave's entrance.

Big. Daunting. Inviting them in...

"Ready for this, Lapis?" She grins over her shoulder, eyes dancing with excitement. "With the two of us working together, we'll conquer this cave in no time!"

After all, she was with one of Brodia's strongest knights! What could go wrong?

I’m not sure I can convince you about the lovely landmarks in Peter Hart , but— there’s a rope around me. Oh. We don’t have a choice in this adventure, do we?

✨🇬🇧Port Mayor🇬🇧✨

On your left, you will notice we are passing by Port Mayor, Great Britain. A lovely fishing port run by an absolute bastard of a person. Make sure on your stop you steal a hearty handful from the Royal’s pockets, and try their regional specialty: Port Plum Pudding. Great for the season.

🌋Isle of Talon Rock🌋

Oh, this one’s a lovely sightseeing adventure! Talon Rock is an inactive volcano in the center of thick jungle. Do watch your feet for snakes; they are quite venomous here. The igneous walls of the lava tubes are home to a variety of rich gems, but make sure you vacate before high tide if you don’t want to get your clothes wet.

We arrive at another port. Excellent tailor at this location; this is where I picked out most of Benjamin’s fashion.

This one looks deceptive at first glance, but a trove of valuables rests deep enough inside the many underwater cave systems. You’ll have to do a little spelunking, but if you reach deep enough the treasures are ripe for the taking~

Aye, Florence. Another posh port with a castle loaded in riches. A very prosperous port town with a king that is all too eager to throw lavish parties and get drunk off of centuries aged wine.

They hold a Regal Ball every year, with a dance competition. The winners take home 50 grand. Ah, a great memory indeed~

Another lovely island between the mainland and Ireland. This is a developed hotspot, turned into a small port town where all are welcome. Pirates, naval officers, merchants, the like. Between the two main countries, this place has its own governance. So, you better have a good reputation if you don’t want to be murdered in your sleep ✨

Mmmmhm. Also home to one of the best doctors this side of the equator. So, if you get wounded, make sure it happens close to Gregory’s Point.

i have a handful of songs i love listening to while playing olba (to the point where i cant listen to them without thinking about cove LOL) and i think kissaphobic by make out monday is just. cove's anthem, basically. it perfectly encapsulates his anxiety over being romantic with the MC when they start dating. it especially fits for when you're dancing with cove at the charity event, even if ur not dating yet

it makes me think of at the end of step 3, when cove doubts if your relationship will last. idk how many of you have seen it, but i believe theres a post where GB said MC is the only one cove would date n that otherwise, he remains single.

you just know that cove and MC breaking up (or not being friends, or never dating) would be a kill his heart. like i hate rejecting cove in step 4 after crushing the entire game, because imagine loving someone most of your life!!!

it's your entire life as far as you're concerned! those 8 years before cove n MC met wouldn't mean anything because it'd be a total haze, all those years spent together with something sparking between em... n still never coming to fruition. EVEN WORSE. MC ending up with derek or baxter after all that (i'm more so thinking of when he says "I'm fine now" after you date baxter, at the end of baxter's DLC during the party for anyone who doesn't know what part he says that.)

So while I was drawing this, anytime I made a mistake I had to stop myself from attempting to two finger tap the calendar to undo the line *note to myself get better at drawing....lines....✏📝*

hjfkdlsa actually that reminds me, earlier I found a drawing tip tiktok on my fyp aaa and I think it's very well explained in a way that just made sense to me

and while we're talking about tiktok, here's a commercial that popped up on my fyp that I remember seeing as a kid. I got excited because it had tips for Donkey Kong 64 and I wanted to see what they were (I genuinely don't remember what tips they had, but taking my best guess it was tips for things I had already figured out).

and I guess a similar thought train, Lunchables was doing a promotion where they had Donkey Kong 64 tips on these collectable "cards" that you cut out and had tips on the back side.

but what very much upset me about it.....the card for Chunky's talked about a specific move that you activated when you pushed A and B at the same time. I tried pressing just about every combination of A and B I could think of while trying to get inside one set of doors that never opens and that always bugged me because I was convinced that there was some sort of unknown secret hiding inside (9 year old me was so desperate aa). In retrospect.... it looks like whoever wrote these just made up all the names of the moves on the fly and I just took it literally

going back a tad, something I remember specifically about the Fruit by the Foot tips was they had the website "nintendo.com" on it and that prompted me to head to my local library (since I'm pretty sure my family didn't have internet just yet) and check out the website and that's where I discovered it had a treasure trove cove of cheat codes! (honestly a little something I miss). I could def make a whole post about how 90s and 2000s nintendo.com was for me as I would visit there practically every day finding cheatcodes and watching trailers for new games coming out aaa

also tiny note, but the past couple days I've been getting notifications on my phone anytime one of my world salads got a like and....aaa i never know how to explain this feeling but it's like yay i'm happy you like it but also i feel like i'm just spilling out whatever comes out of my head and I guess people like that?? either way i hope it makes your day in some way aaa
