For Six Hundred Strike, I’m enamored with the idea of the 600 ghost soldiers squaring off with Poseidon in his giant water horse form, in a reversal of the Trojan Horse.

Watching these videos again, I’ve realized how perfect a horse is as a physical symbol of waves. A pool of water doesn’t have any really intimidating features, and neither does a grazing prey animal like a horse. The human brain realizes how lethal they are once they’ve picked up speed. And are directly atop you.

ghoul elemental system

this has been something ive been wanting to do for years but i never got around to it until now... and now that i feel a possible ghost hyperfixation nipping at me i decided to finally make them! apologies if this has been done already, i tried looking to see if something like this has been done already but i didnt find anything. also same goes for the flags- if there's something that has a similar flag i apologize! these are not inherently genders, but can be if the user so chooses. so without further ado, ghoul elemental flags based on the ghoul elements from the band ghost!

quintessence element - quin. element with symbol 1 - quin element with symbol 2

fire element - fire element with symbol 1 - fire element with symbol 2

air element - air element with symbol 1 - air elemental with symbol 2

My players were exploring a dwarven mine whose patron ancient silver dragon got bored and tried moving the whole lair into the Elemental Plane of Earth.

We've got some crystal beasts from the Plane of Earth, an ancient silver dragon (finally), some crafty silver kobolds, a gem hurler (variant of the ice elemental), rusty iron automaton, and the geyser elemental from The Elements and Beyond.

Odysseus walking off with a bloody shawl is such a nice touch, I am incorporating it into my head, cannon music video that plays whenever I hear this song.

I imagine that as Poseidon yells about murdering an entire city, Aeolus or Athena (who was silently observing) immediately run to Mount Olympus as a witness. The Pantheon is so horrified at what Poseidon has come to, it’s the reason Odysseus can brutalize a family member without them lifting a finger, or even punishing Odie later.
