Something that people might not know about our first corpse in the bracket, the ill-fated girl named Trash, is that she's (almost certainly) a reference to a character of the same name from one of my favorite movies, Return of the Living Dead. If we take a better look at Trash's model, she even has the same red hair as her Return counterpart!

Trash in Fallout: New Vegas is a corpse that we find in the Nuclear Test Shack, and we learn from her "die-ary" (which is itself a reference to Johnny the Homicidal Maniac) that she died of radiation poisoning trying to turn into a ghoul, which is basically a radiation zombie.

In Return, the character Trash is a punk girl who is obsessed with death and dying, and whose biggest (sexual) fantasy is getting torn apart naked and eaten alive by a bunch of old men, which very much happens as soon as the zombies start rising from the grave.

But then she comes back as a zombie herself, meaning that unlike the Trash from Fallout: New Vegas, this cinematic Trash did succeed at becoming the (undead) victim of her dreams.

So congratulations to Trash for beating Ada Straus in the first round of the tournament! Let this victory go to show that the corpses in this poll and in the game aren't just there for show: every body, even dead ones, has a story!
