TRANSAuDHD TiPS (from a cisAuDHD)
For all you TransAutisticADHD out there :3

SENSORY ISSUES
I personally use many types of aids for that such ad chewelry (jewelry made for chewing), fidget toys, specific clothing, weightened blankets, etc!
For the fidget toys, I personally carry around a side bag (themed of my special interests) full of many different kinds of fidget toys!
I also wear fidget kandi around :3
As for specific clothing try and wear the same clothing (especially if they are deemed as "comfy" by the general public) as MUCH as possible while still being clean. People will start to notice at some point
Also try selecting a few specifc groups of food to be deemed as "safe" and others to be deemed as "unsafe". Many of us autistics also have or were priorly diagnosed with ARFID so keep that in mind :)
On the topic of that, OVERSTIMULATION!!! As you may have heard EVERYONE goes through this so try and listen to your body more, and when you find out what overstim feels like to you, try and act out more openly frustrated and irritated at the slightest overstimulation!
BURNOUTS are also an inherent part of autism and ADHD, allistics and neurotypicals also go trought this but for us autistics it takes even longer to heal (around 3 to 5 years) so do what you will with that information :3
When I'm in a burnout I feel basically depressed and with no energy ever!
Also choose some textures, sounds, etc to be your triggers for sensory issues!
Also don't forget your headphones, and other things that cancel noises!
SOCIAL DEFICIT
i am really REALLY awkward irl
Try to change your mindset to take things as literally as possible ever
Stop being as interested in other people's lifes unless they are part of/your spin/hyperfix
Try to speak as fast as possible when excited and not to have a normal tone whenever you feel like it
Try to imitate a character's or someone's speech patterns if you can, that's common among autistic children specially
Don't have MANY (2 to 3 max) friends if you're looking for validation or a diagnosis
Don't talk much without referencing your spin (special interest)
If you also wanna change your mindset, try and think deeply and obsesses and research and ONLY care abouy your chosen spin/hyperfix
Adhd also makes the person have mental Hyperactivity which makes you thinks fast and with issues such as messy thinking
MORE TIPS
Bad sleeping habits such as insomnia are very commong among AuDHDers
Try to have someone help you with you bADLS and iADLS (basic/instrumental activities of daily life)
Research about autistic individuals experiences (tumblr is the best place I've seen)
Don't get upset if you ever slip, it's ok transition isn't linnear!
Any other questions send me an adk or a dm!!!!

I’m diagnosed as autistic, but I choose to label myself as transautistic despite that.
My childhood abuser used my diagnosis against me as justification for why she was hurting me. Even after I finally escaped from her I spent years hating myself and trying to convince myself I was one of the Good, Smart Neurodivergents who only had “high-functioning Asperger’s” and was “above being autistic”.
When autistic regression ate me alive at age 14 I very quickly abandoned that line of thinking. I’m 19 now and still coming to terms with the fact that I’ve been masking who I am for essentially my whole life.
Fuck that shit.
Being openly autistic in a world that is hostile to our existence is a beautiful thing. I want to unmask. I’m not “high-functioning”, I’m not “quirky”, I’m not “basically neurotypical”, and I will do everything in my power to make sure society cannot fucking interpret me in that way.
If outwardly presenting myself as a man to the public is gender transitioning, then outwardly presenting myself as autistic is autism transitioning.
I might have been autistic before, but nearly two decades later I’m only truly becoming Autistic now.
I am transautistic.

Just because you have the privilege of being "CIS autistic" doesn't make me any less autistic.
TRANSAUTIC ARE REAL.
Maybe I didn't turn out to be autistic, but I can become one.
It's time for you to look in the mirror and admit your own privileges.
Damn… I don't know what to say. Never in my life has ANYONE told me that I am PRIVILEGED because I have autism.
Oh yeah, I'm privileged when I can't get a job or live "normally" because of autism… Or when I have trouble communicating with others because it feels like we're speaking a different language.
YOU CAN CHOOSE AUTISM.
I can NOT choose whether I am autistic or not. There is a difference that defines everything.
I have a lot more to say, but I can't... This stupidity is just too much...

i'm sorry, but this isn't possible. a neurotypical person cannot be autistic because they want to. you need to be born with autism to have it, you can't get it later in life. i don't want to hear anyone's arguments, as this right here is offensive as hell to actual autistic people. just keep this shit to yourself, ffs.

you aren't "appropriating'' anything. you aren't being disrespectful. take it from a cis-neuro with a lot of trauma around not being "normal enough" - i love that you wanna be like me! i love that you want my neuro stuff! i love that you see such identity and belonging and beauty in my disorders!!!

Hello! My name is Milo. I'm a cisautistic person who was diagnosed in 2018. My symptoms of autism are very subtle, and as I've aged I've veered further and further away from every autistic trait I've ever had in the past. I wanted to remind every transautistic person that:
You don't need special interests/hyperfixations
You don't need to avoid eye contact
You don't need to struggle socially
You don't need to have sensory issues
You don't need to mask
You don't need to have motor control issues
You don't need to misunderstand social norms or constructs
You don't need to be body/facial language blind
You don't need to have hyper/hypo empathy
You don't need to stim
None of these things apply to me, as a cisautistic person. In fact, aside from being overwhelmed easily, I'm completely asymptomatic. None of the symptoms listed above are prerequisites for the disorder. While I will never fully understand your experiences, I wanted to validate them. Everything you experience in relation to your autism is also experienced by cisautistic people. You don't need to change things about yourself to be a "real" autistic, because "real" autistics are already just like you. Dysphoria sucks, and it isn't rational, but I hope that this helps at least a little. I'll always be happy to give passing tips to transautistic people. You guys deserve all the love in the world, and my blog will never not be a safe space for you. I've supported you my whole life even before joining rq circles, and I will never stop

tips to all my transautistic peeps!
Get all the vaccines! The more vaccines the better. MMR, COVID, polio, smallpox. All of them
follow holistic healing blogs where parents try to cure their cisautistic child by going on a heavy metal detox, and do the opposite.
when school starts! I recommend watching TikTok’s about the autistic kid in the back of the classroom. They will give you a perfect perspective on how to be seen as autistic by people around you.
