I've been doodling ideas for HK themed tarot cards, I may never finish any of them, but I thought I'd share some of my favorite sketches so far :3

I've done quite a few more than these, but I like these ones the best right now

I've put (probably too much) thought into the symbolism of the cards and their elements when making these and I've tried to either stay true to the original symbolism or adapt it to something that makes sense in Hollow Knight. If you're interested in a specific one, feel free to ask! Otherwise I really don't feel like writing all that down lol it is a lot of jumbled ideas.

I'm aware two of the aces are flipped the wrong way I can't be bothered to fix that yet.

Spoilers for his platinum card!

Looking at ace's platinum card.. I'm starting to think that's a HUGE foreshadowing of what's gonna happen in the future. Like first we start off with card soldiers, cool and all because obviously ace represents the heart card. Second, we see scar... A bit an interesting choice but okay. Then we saw the tweels (flotsam and jetsam) another interesting choice nonetheless and finally the oysters. Now if we connect these together, I'm starting to realize something. First, obeying orders, cunningness and betrayal, the so called "helper" and finally the one who got fooled. DON'T YOU SEE WHERE I'M GETTING AT?!?!?! Even the last line of him saying, "are these oysters also got fooled just like the others? Haha.. I'm just kidding." BRO?!!?!?!? I knew it was suspicious enough that he has a lot of resemblance between the knave but i decide to brush it off because villains and all but THIS.. ace you got some explaining to do 🤨🤨

A message to the recent & future transgender pick-mes.

If you’re a trans pick-me (no matter where you align with gender) there’s a special place in Hell just for you & I don’t even believe in Hell. Having trauma isn’t excusing your actions of going out of your way to hurt other people actively. It explains that it comes from a place of hurt potentially or you’re just turning into a rage-bait influencer because it makes you money. Either way you come after trans people who don’t do being trans exactly like you so they “aren’t really trans.” You get a taste of the right-wing rage-bait money pot & you wanna keep going because money & maybe some weird part of you thinks this will save you from transphobic attacks? Honey, we’re all just fags to them no matter how we look or act. Even if you’re a cis person not following the norm or unaware of the politics of it all, you’re still just a faggot to them who they will eventually want to snuff out.
