im obsessed with the oneiric pearls. what a delightfully weird little bit of worldbuilding; sometimes zailors just develop pearls in their stomachs, that's just a thing that happens. Strange sensations that get in your head at zee made bearable to the body only by tangibly coating them in dream...

anyway samuel has sort of a chronic oneiric pearl problem on account of spending way too much time at zee, and since he sometimes stays at Peter & Jack's place when the nightmares get bad, it seems like, these things could combine awkwardly,

VPet DigiDuet!

I never thought as an adult to have the chance to own one of these devices, feels like a dream 💚.

My first run was quite satisfactory: raised without trouble the whole line of Agumon… but made some mistakes when overfeeding Gabumon that made him evolve instead to Frigimon xD Still, I loved each moment of it!

Back to the drawing: because it was my first run, I delayed a little when choosing the second Egg after Agumon so, my Gabumon was always the "smaller brother" to him! I wanted to portray what I headcanoned as their relationship in these drawings x)

PD My VPet is a Glown-in-the-Dark version, which makes it extra badass for me to carry around ✨ I'll show a few photos of it under the cut.

Lovely challenge by @violettenouvel, I doubt I'll do every prompt, if not by very rough sketches, but I do love Hayez, I know this painting well (it's in my city!), so I put some extra effort. Indian ink + very gothic dip pen stand and dip pen + blue ecoline + marker

🎃 WELCOME TO THE FRIGHT SIDE! 🍂

These are circa 2021 when a dear friend suggested watching Scary Godmother's animated movie. I gotta confess: until then I never knew the existence of it... and less that it was based on a series of short stories and comic books! I fell COMPLETELY IN LOVE with the characters and setting and AAA

But especially, what held tight to my heart was the narrative of this amazing writer and illustrator, @jillthompson , creating this whole fantasy world to make "friends with the scary side" and reveal that even monsters fear and can be your best allies ♥

I'm so glad I found her work, it keeps inspiring me to reach that level of love for storytelling and to never be afraid to show the themes and aesthetics that move us deeply!

PS Those last pics portray a grown-up Hannah Marie based on Miss Thompson's concept art she showed in one of the books.
