Wondering if you guys have any fics where Klaine has a teenager who’s maybe being bullied or are in a bad relationship and needs their help? Maybe it’s just the kid crying and K and B talk to them.
Here is on Previous ask which has a selection of Klaine fics with teenage children. Also, some others found previously. ~Jen
These Twists and Turns of Fate by victoryscreech357
Dealing with teenagers is never easy, but Kurt and Blaine have children that redefine the word ‘interesting’. From bullying to breakdowns, lies to laughter, and the arduous journey of a Brooklyn family, the Anderson-Hummels persist. (This story has a default rating of T for swearing and discussions of sensitive topics. Later chapters will be rated either T or M, depending on the subject matter.)

A Fresh Start by pickingviolets

~~~~~ A Secret Affair by @gleefulpoppet
Arriving home from work, Kurt is hesitant about what he might find after getting some surly texts from his sixteen-year-old daughter about their upcoming move. He takes a deep breath, reaching for the knob, wishing Blaine was here to help him handle whatever he finds on the other side.
Written for Klaine Advent 2022. Now complete with over 90+ artwork/graphics.
MASSIVE amounts of fluff after Chapter 2! WARNING! This short story addresses a child who previously struggled with self-harm. There is NO graphic content. She is in recovery. Many parents are struggling with this, and once this story downloaded into my brain, I had to write it. Please exercise caution if this may be disturbing for you.
Sleepovers, Secrets, and Sex Talks by insightfulinsomniac
When Blaine goes to his son’s room to wake him and his best friend up for breakfast, he panics when Dalton’s best friend, Sawyer, isn’t on his air mattress, the place where he slept whenever he came over for the past four years.
And then Blaine looks at Dalton’s bed.
Kind of a future-fic version of Burt finding Blaine in Kurt’s bed after the infamous “Blame it on the Alcohol” party.
Falling For You - (Klaine Secret Santa 2023 Fic) - Chp 3
Next chapter for you, @mynonah!
*****
“Daddy!” Tracy shouted excitedly.  “You caught Mr. Flower Man!”
Blaine and Kurt stared at each other incredulously.
“You’re Tracy’s father?  You’re B. Anderson-Lopez?” Kurt asked.
Blaine nodded as he blushed and smiled shyly.  "Blaine.  Doctor Blaine Anderson-Lopez.  I'm the head of Pediatrics here at Sloan Kettering.  And you're Mr. Kurt?  Mercedes' friend who is selling the flowers downstairs?" He gently let Kurt down to his stand on his own feet.
Kurt nodded, biting his lip in a really adorable way as his eyes twinkled and he smiled.  "Kurt Hummel.  Well, it's nice to finally meet you, Blaine.  Thanks for catching me there."
“It’s nice seeing you again,” Blaine told him.  “Let the record show, though, I didn’t knock you down this time around.”
"Hey!" Cooper pouted, slightly affronted.  "I swear I didn't do it on purpose."  He turned to offer Kurt an apologetic smile.  "Really sorry about that, Kurt.  Good thing my brother's got fast hands and a strong grip, right?"
Blaine turned bright red.  “Oh god.  Stop, Cooper, please stop while you are ahead.”
End of the line
Summary: The New Directions and others return to Lima for the 10 year anniversary of Finn’s death.
Notes: For Cory.
AO3
--
Tracy Hummel-Anderson loves having a full house, and her grandparents’ house is filled to the brim with her dads’ friends.
Kurt doesn’t have the heart to explain to a three year old what death means and why they’re all here. Tracy knows of Finn and she knows that he is no longer around, but she doesn’t fully understand why yet.
Tracy is hugging everyone’s legs and giving flowers that she picked in the garden. When she hands one to Carole, Carole tries very hard to not burst into a new round of tears. That’s Kurt’s cue to step in.
“Come on, Tracy,” he picks her up and carries her away from Carole.
“Do you think grandma loved the flower?” she asks.
“I think she loved it,” Kurt answers earnestly. Carole loves everything that Tracy makes, but today is just weird. It’s been ten years since Finn died. Every year, the New Directions try to get together to commemorate, and it doesn’t always work, but everyone made time to be here for the 10th anniversary.
Kurt puts her down so that she can hang around with the other kids. His friends have kids. He and Blaine were the first, but Rachel and Jesse’s daughter soon followed. Tina and Artie surprised everyone, including themselves, with twins. Brittany and Santana are looking into it as well. The New Directions are growing up.
Well, apart from Finn. He never made it past 19. He would’ve turned 29 this year.
What would his life had looked like? Everyone thought he’d end up with Rachel. He was working on becoming a teacher.
Kurt shakes his head. He’s helping no one with this. When Finn first died, Kurt couldn’t stop thinking about all these possible scenario’s, because it felt so unfair that he died. Kurt still thinks it’s unfair, but he stopped torturing himself.
The 10 year anniversary just brings back feelings.
Kurt walks back to his parents. His dad is talking with Sam about the time Sam and Finn competed for the position of quarterback. Carole, who still looks like a mess, laughs over a memory that Tina shared with her, only to fall silent again.
The mood is off. Tracy is right to think that it’s fun to be together with everyone, because Kurt also loves seeing everyone again, but it’s also under a weird circumstance.
A photo of Finn has been put on prominent display, with the date of his birth and death presented underneath. There’s a small line between them. Puck once said that it’s weird how that one life represents an entire life and it’s true. How does one line capture 19 years of a life well-lived?
It’s so weird to think that Finn’s already reached the end of his line.
Tracy apparently got bored being around the other kids, because she’s walking around again, amusing everyone. Quinn gives her a piece of candy from her pocket, Artie has his camera out and he films her skipping around the room, Mike twirls her around, and so on. Tracy loves her honourary aunts and uncles and they love her.
She eventually ends up at Blaine, who carries her to Kurt.
“Are you having fun?” Kurt asks.
Tracy nods happily and Kurt smiles. Kurt and Blaine make eye contact and Blaine nods.
“Go to daddy, Tracy,” Blaine says and he hands her to Kurt, “He wants to show you something.”
“Oh?”
Kurt takes her to Finn’s photograph. Tracy has grown a lot, so he needs both arms to carry her, so he can’t pick up the photo. Instead, he bends his knees and lowers Tracy.
“Uncle Finn!” Tracy says.
“Indeed,” Kurt says and he feels a lump in his throat. He’s still Tracy’s uncle. “We’re all here for him.”
“Why?” Tracy asks. She has a puzzled look on her face and it’s adorable.
“Because we miss him,” Kurt answers.
He realises that the room has gotten silent. He doesn’t want to look around, but he knows others are watching him and Tracy.
“Is this his party?” Tracy asks and Kurt lets out a teary laugh.
He wants to say that it’s not a party, and that people can come together for different reasons, and that today is a sad day, but then he thinks about her words.
Kurt will never celebrate Finn’s death. Never. The thought alone is baffling.
But he thinks of today. Everyone’s come to his parents’ house for Finn. People are trading stories and other fun memories. Photos and videos are passed around and despite the weird atmosphere, everyone is having a good time. It’s nice to come together and talk about the person they all miss so dearly.
“I guess so,” Kurt says, “A party to celebrate your uncle. That’s one way to see it.”
“Will there be cake?” Tracy asks. Of course she thinks of cakes. She mostly goes to birthday parties.
“We can have a cake,” Kurt’s dad cuts in, before Kurt can answer, “Right, Carole?”
Kurt finally turns around and as expected, all eyes are on him and Tracy, apart from his dad’s. He’s looking at Carole. Carole’s eyes are wet.
“Yes,” she eventually says, “Yes, we can. Chocolate fudge. His favourite.”
“I’ll drive down to the bakery!” many people volunteer at once, which makes everyone laugh. There will definitely be cake now.
“Yay!” Tracy claps her hands and Kurt hugs his daughter closer. He’s sad that Finn’s never got to met her, but she’s here and Kurt will keep the memory of his brother alive for her. He won’t be the only ones. Everyone in this room will remember Finn and as Tracy said, they will continue to celebrate him.
So, that video of Grant and his daughter is stinkin' adorable...but some of the comments on his Instagram are just...cringe (and not good cringe):
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I mean...can we just not? Same thing with him posting the trailer for his new rom-com "Puppy Love," half the comments are "Barry's messing with the timeline again," and I just...
HE'S.
NOT.
BARRY.
He is Grant Gustin, you know, an ACTOR. Who unfortunately played the same role for nearly a decade (and this is why I don't think shows should run for more than five seasons max but that's another post for another day). And his daughter? With the exception of when he actually chooses to show you a glimpse of her? Is none of y'all's damn business. Y'all I fear the day when some CC shipper calls Darren's kid "Tracy Elizabeth Hummel-Anderson" or some shit like that.
Scenes from December (20/24)
Klaine Advent Day Twenty : Recast
****
December, 2064
Kurt’s hands fumbled with the tie.  He stood in front of the mirror, decked out in a full three-piece suit (complete with appropriate raven brooch on his lapel), trying to do something he had done a thousand times before, but he couldn’t quite make the knot.  Frustrated, he threw his hands down.  Why did he have to go to this thing anyway? Why did he let them talk him into doing a retirement party? And why did it have to involve the fanciest clothes he owned?  If it were up to him, he would have slipped off into the night quietly.  He didn’t really need the accolades -- the validation of a lifetime's worth of work.
“Would you like me to get that for you?” Blaine asked.  Kurt didn’t need to answer as Blaine swooped in, still able to work the fabric as easily had he done all his life.  He took a moment, straightening it, then dusted off Kurt’s shoulders, looking him up and down.  “You look quite stunning tonight, Mr. Hummel.” A smirk lay on his lips.
Kurt only grumbled.  No amount of Blaine’s charm would appease him tonight.  “Well, Mr. Anderson, I’d really prefer to get this over with and be done with it.”
“Kurt, what is it?” Blaine stepped closer, tugging on Kurt’s tie a little.  There was concern in his eyes.  “You’ve been like this all week.”
“There are just a million things for people to worry about,” Kurt said, gruffly.  “You’d think that my retirement would just make it easier for them.  They can get back to hiring a new lighting guy or recasting the understudy who flew off to Germany on a whim.  I’m just the obligation written down in the planner.”
“Oh, Kurt, you know you mean more to them than that, right?  That’s the whole purpose of tonight.”
Kurt let out a tiny sigh, and moved to sit on the end of the bed.
The Gilbert-Hummel Theater had celebrated its forty-third year of operation, and after being there through all of it -- managing a theater wasn’t quite where he had thought his career would go, but life never really went the way you expected -- he was finally stepping down.  Elliott had left years ago, selling his half to a nephew who loved theater.  Kurt at least was keeping it the family -- Tracy said she’d take over his duties, and she even said she’d try to get one of her boys to follow in her footsteps.
If Blaine had pressed him, however, he would have admitted that it wasn’t the theater he was worried about.    He was proud of his legacy.  The theater was small, and had never made a huge splash in New York’s crowded theater world, but their productions had been mostly critically acclaimed, smaller productions that usually made back what they put into it.  There were cast and crew who had their start in his tiny theater to go on to do bigger and better things.  Maybe, perhaps when he was younger, he might have been somewhat jealous that those around him went on to make more of a name for themselves, but he didn’t begrudge them now.  He was grateful for the steady and stable life the theater had given him.  He was grateful for all the memories.
The problem was -- now what?
Blaine sat on the bed next to him, grabbing onto his hand.  Kurt leaned over to rest his head on Blaine’s comfortable shoulder.
“You know - I waited years and years to be given this amount of free time,” Kurt said.  “I worked really hard my whole life to get to this point and now that I’m here -- I’m not sure what to do with it all.”
“Oh,” Blaine said, with a soft smile.  “Like you won’t find other things to fill it up with.  Maybe I can push you to do all the things you've been talking about doing -- like writing that musical you’ve been talking about since your thirties or maybe you can do some freelance fashion work or hire that plumber to fix the sink like I’ve asked you to do a hundred times.”
“Hey - you can call them, too,” Kurt teased, laughing into Blaine’s shoulder.  Kurt let out another heavy sigh.  “Oh, well, I have been looking forward to a really long nap.  Are you sure we really need to be there for this? Can’t we just stay home and fall asleep on the couch in more comfortable clothes like we usually do?”
“We can do that tomorrow,” Blaine said.  He stood up, and held out his hand, waiting for Kurt to take it.
Kurt grumbled again, but took Blaine’s hand anyway.  “You know, I’m going to remember this when we have your retirement party.”
“Are you kidding?” Blaine let out a laugh.  “I’m not going to retire.  Do you know that right now there are probably a good ten or so doctoral students all plotting my murder in an attempt to get my position at the university?   I figure as long as I still have my mental facilities why not have fun torturing them.”
“You’re absolutely diabolical, Mr. Anderson.”
“Well, I wonder where I learned it from, Mr. Hummel.”
Last year in 2020 after being welcomed to the Pirate fandom and the world of Kurtofsky fanfiction, I noticed there was a brand-new story being written and currently updated called Fixing Destinies, which can be found here on AO3 and here on FF.net. If you have not had a chance to read it, I highly encourage you to take the time to. I instantly fell in love with it and started connecting with the author by positively commenting on her story. We eventually got into some great back and forth conversations about how and where the story was going. It really made my day to interact with this author, Samara Kurtofsky and we have even gotten to the point now of e-mailing each other outside of talking about the story and have become friends. In my opinion, Samara is a great representation of the Kurtofsky fandom. She is so passionate about the characters of Dave and Kurt and probably has one of the biggest Pirate Hearts I have ever met. If anyone deserves a thank you for all of her dedication to the fandom and the love that is everything Kurtofsky, it is Samara and I wanted to show her that especially after giving me something to look forward to each time I check my e-mail whether it be a notification from here on AO3 and FF.net or just a friendly e-mail in general. This art piece, thanks to the wonderfully talented Starkurt, is a gift to Samara for being so kind and welcoming to me and letting her know how much I am still enjoying her story as she continues to update it. Her latest chapter has been my favorite chapter so far and this to me, is the standout scene. I applaud her for the effort she has put into this story and I hope this encourages her to continue and finish what she started. Keep up the great work Samara, we cannot wait to see what is to come and thank you for all of your dedication and passion as a part of this community. From: Mike (saxman2750)
I can’t thank enough my friends Mike and @starkurt for this incredible work and for the message that came with it. I was stunned when I saw it, and moved to tears, knowing someone liked my story so much to commission art. There is nothing better than to see something that was just in your mind transformed into an image. And to read such kind words directed at you. Thank you so much for this incredible gift. I can’t stop smiling 🥰. This is a great incentive to keep writing 💪🏻.
