so guess who's moving house again (me! it's me.)

#same building just up on the top floor and waaaaaay on the opposite end #a chainsmoker moved in near us and the smoke BILLOWS into the apartment so we can't have the door or windows open. it's been miserable.#anyway today is day 4 of moving. my feet hurt but I've got like 98% of my stuff upstairs now!#all that's left is things I'm still using for the next few days until the movers come for the heaviest furniture #because naturally the heaviest furniture is also the comfiest furniture so we're hanging out downstairs without all our stuff lmao #i just spent 2 hours disassembling my bed. moving my bed. and reassembling my bed.#I'm exhausted #¶

every two weeks I tell myself "no unnecessary spending" - I even made a point not to order any delivery while at work or for dinner when I came home, even if I was too tired to cook. and YET it's like....it didn't even really make a difference somehow?

might be upgrading my apartment in a month since my current place is going up, and I figured why not get the bigger place that is only a 45$ difference? and now I'm stressing about that 🙃

I don't want a "side hustle" or to get better at art to make money off it for supplemental income because I'm ALREADY EXHAUSTED like just being alive and going to work as is but like. What the fuck.

#gotta think about switching my internet changing my address getting my id updated changing my voter card #One of the things i wanted was maybe go to vegas and see my family #....and to get a tattoo as a present to myself #but theres vet appointments and moving supplies and hiring movers now ⚰️#i also have been thinking a lot about gender affirming care but it feels like Too Much on top of everything - not enough time or money #or even the energy to like. care enough about it.#I'm so tired #I'm so tired.

#idk why I expect clear sidewalks when then can’t even plow half the roads lol ¯\_(ツ)_/¯#ok I know there’s like a billion reasons WHY anchorage can’t plow their sidewalks sufficiently at this moment in time but also? this sucks #I like commuting by bus and walking but growing up here I only did it in the summer #I tried it for myself today in winter and I am so angry for all the people here who can’t/don’t use cars. this shit is abysmal #the bus system is already pretty low standard compared to what it could be (but also I love you people mover thanks for existing)#but then on top of that having like 2/3-3/4 of the sidewalks not consistently cleared???? who tf is supposed to use the bus?#sucks for you if you have any mobility issues!!! if you have a cane or a chair or a walker or cructches get fucked I guess???#to me that’s the message the city is sending. I mean there is anchor rides which is the shuttle service for people with disabilities #but like a) those have fucking long ass waits and are not a full solution and also feel pretty othering???#like idk it would be NICE if the city could at least make its streets walkable #googoogajoob
