Movertober Day 7: Best thing about the series.

I watched this show as a kid, and even tho it's been years since I seen it, some parts of it really stuck to me. So when I started rewatching this series, nostalgia did play a factor on how much I enjoyed it.

Tho that mostly applies to season 1, because by season 2 it felt like I was watching it for the first time (that's probably true, I've only seen season 1 lol). What I can say is I like how fun this show is, how it balances the creative and imaginative aspect of it while still applying the process of logic (?) to it. as in, their problem solving follows cause & effect, so it's not based on absurdity (?), just full of pure whimsy 🌟

And of course my favourite aspect of these type of shows are the characters and their dynamic with each other! Their friendship is just so wonderful, the characters bounce off each other so well.

And the premise/setting is very well-crafted, it's easy to build on (?). Like idk, the concept is pretty fluid so pretty much anything can happen, so in terms of fan content you have a really big sandbox to play on and be creative with it!

Movertober Day 1

An Interesting Character!

I chose Peggy! She's from Season 1 episode "Heavy Reading". There's a lot of things about her I wanna talk about, like the fact she's one of the first customers that the Movers helped, and her whole thing is that she has a giant heavy phone book which has every phone number in the world (you can find services and such). Idk it's a pretty creative concept for the time.

Unfortunate for her the internet and phones exist for that now lol, altho I'd like to believe in the show's universe, Peggy's book turned out to be a huge success (considering Knit Knots' business seems to have been going well). Speaking of, it's cool how Peggy and Knit Knots had a similar interest and got along pretty well, even tho Peggy is definitely not boring.

Anyway I headcanon that by the end of S1 Peggy's book became well known and she'd been telling people about the Movers as well, and that helped the Movers gain a lot more customers in S2. I also like to think she and Knit Knots became friends later on lol.

Movertober Day 5: Favourite Character Design/Style

Warehouse Mouse is literally the cutest little buddy ever and I loooove how cuddly he looks sometimes. He's so Shaped love this lil fella. And his little outfits are always so neat!

And Knit Knots' style is of course iconic, he is like, *the* definition of beige.

For non-recurring characters, I love how the Movers' dads look and how much they reflect (?) their sons. Ah I love their moms too, lmao I love all their designs they're just really fun.

Movertober Day 3: Favourite Episode

I tend to lean towards Season 1 episodes because I watched those the most as a kid lol, the nostalgia is there.

But I'm trying to remember uhhhh, maybe I'll pick for each season. Might start rambling a lot, be prepared haha.

Season 1: The Un-Party, A Present Problem, Mother's Day

"The Un-Party" is iconic, I just love how they managed to make a party that fits to Knit Knot's liking, even tho they always think that parties are meant to be exciting. It's such a nice episode.

"A Present Problem" gives a pretty simple premise; find out what's inside the boxes without opening them. The way each present is found I think is very well-thought out and smart, feels like it showcases problem-solving in a quite straightforward (?) and realistic way (as realistic as the show gets haha).

"Mother's Day" is really memorable to me, it's the episode I recognize the most from watching the show years ago, eventho I don't remember the episode exactly. And the song is so good, just stays in your brain even after all these years 😌

Season 2: It's a Mystery, Out of Tunes, The Tale of Captain Kiddo

"It's a Mystery" is just fun haha, I've talked about it a lot. I really like when they have to figure out things from clues. It would've been fun to have an episode where they leaned into the "detective" thing entirely. Imagine them wearing Sherlock Holmes type outfits.

"Out of Tunes" has a really good message that I'll keep in mind a lot. The episode is very simple (?) but it just feels like one of the more satisfying episodes to watch in my opinion.

"The Tale of Captain Kiddo" is a fun episode and I like the conclusion they got that helped Kiddo. Highlighting the importance of storytellers and creatives alike 🌟 also I like pirate themes lol.

Season 3: So many good episodes you can't expect me to choose

The Idea Cafe? Slam Dunk Solution? One Cool Mover? All the special themed episodes? So hard to decide aah. I guess I'll pick "Shall We Dance" since I've rewatched it a lot, and both songs in that episode are really good.

Movertober Day 6: Favourite Movers / Nina Outfit

Prompt List! It's November now but we continue this anyway lol.

Movers - Their cowboy outfits! And I like their pirate outfits a lot too.

Nina - I really liked her witch costume! Also her wild west themed outfit too. For casual outfits, I like the pink checkered dress and one with a hoodie.

Honestly all their outfits go so hard aaaa

Movertober Day 4: Favourite Room / Location

The Idea Cafe is a really great addition to the show. I like how it expands the universe a whole lot, and the little details in the background is really fun to see. Like the pictures hanging of all the past characters and such. It just really ties the the show together, y'know what I mean? Also useful for setting up jokes like this lol:

I'm trying to think of the Warehouse rooms, but idk there's too many to choose haha.

The Moon Room and The Island Room (?) are interesting because those rooms are connected to the world outside of the warehouse in some way. But not really? Because the Moon Room is just a room that looks like the moon.

The Movers thought of sending a message in a bottle so it reaches civilization, so implying that the ocean surrounding the island connects to someplace else?

There's also a Sun Room, and they have other rooms that can basically generate natural resources so.... idk if the rooms would act as portals, or they are really just inside the Idea Warehouse's pocket dimension lol.
