Is there possible way to Kill Tooth Pain Nerve in 3 Seconds Permanently?
Tumblr media
It's natural to wish for a quick fix to instantly eliminate tooth nerve pain, as this discomfort can seriously disrupt daily life. However, the idea of permanently killing tooth nerve pain in just three seconds is simply not realistic. While we all want fast relief from toothaches, achieving permanent relief requires understanding the root cause and seeking professional treatment. This article will explain what tooth nerve pain feels like, the potential causes, and some quick home remedies, and professional treatments.
Causes of Tooth Nerve Pain
Tooth nerve pain can arise from two main types of sensitivity:
Pulp Sensitivity
Pulp sensitivity occurs when the inner pulp of the tooth, which contains blood vessels and nerves, becomes inflamed. Common causes include:
Cavities
Cracked, chipped, or broken teeth
Worn enamel
Improper dental procedures (e.g., crowns, fillings)
Tooth injury or trauma
Dentinal Sensitivity
Dentinal sensitivity happens when the dentin, the tooth's inner layer, is exposed. This can result from:
Untreated cavities
Teeth whitening products
Receding gums
Tooth decay
Tooth fractures
Gum disease
How Tooth Nerve Pain Feels
Tooth nerve pain can vary from a minor ache to severe, sharp pain. Common sensations include:
Sensitivity to certain foods
Discomfort from hot or cold temperatures
Dull or constant ache
Sudden sharp pain without warning
Everyone experiences tooth nerve pain differently, but the goal is the same: to find lasting relief.
Professional Treatments for Tooth Nerve Pain
A dentist can diagnose the cause of tooth nerve pain and provide treatments for long-term relief. Some common treatments include:
Root Canal
In this procedure, the dentist removes the infected or inflamed pulp from the tooth, then seals it to prevent further damage. This can eliminate pain and save the tooth.
Pulpotomy
Similar to a root canal, a pulpotomy involves removing the affected part of the pulp, particularly in teeth with deep decay, and sealing the healthy portion to preserve the tooth.
Tooth Extraction
If the tooth is too damaged to save, extraction may be necessary. Although drastic, this can provide immediate relief and prevent complications.
Dental Filling or Crown
For less severe cases, a filling or crown may be recommended to repair the tooth and protect the exposed nerve. Pain medication may also be prescribed to manage discomfort during healing.
Temporary Relief Techniques for Tooth Nerve Pain
While seeing a dentist is essential for permanent relief, there are some temporary methods to ease the pain:
Cold Compress: Applying a cold compress can numb the area and reduce inflammation. Use an ice pack or a bag of frozen vegetables wrapped in a towel for 10–15 minutes several times a day.
Medication: Over-the-counter pain relievers like NSAIDs (e.g., Advil, ibuprofen) or Tylenol (acetaminophen) can help reduce pain and inflammation.
Saltwater Rinse: Rinsing your mouth with warm saltwater can temporarily alleviate pain.
Desensitizing Toothpaste: This type of toothpaste can help block pain signals from exposed nerves, though it requires a few weeks of consistent use to be effective.
Additionally, avoiding hot, cold, acidic, or spicy foods can help prevent further irritation.
Conclusion
Killing tooth nerve pain permanently in just three seconds is impossible. To achieve lasting relief, a visit to the dentist is necessary to diagnose the root cause and receive the appropriate treatment. While waiting for professional care, temporary pain relief techniques can help manage the discomfort.

Since yesterday one of my teeth mysteriously hurts a bit when I chew/bite down on it and I don't understand it because I've literally just been to the dentist before coming here and everything was fine. I really hope it goes away on its own because I cannot deal with this right now.

pain has veeeeeery suspiciously disappeared from the tooth which makes me veeeeeeeery suspicious bc that’s not good lmfao bc if the pain goes without treatment, it means smth in that tooth has fucking died if I can’t feel anything anymore LMAO. okay if I press hard enough it hurts but it’s nowhere near the sharp ass pain it’s been leading up to this point so! I’m gonna go into that appointment expecting dead nerves and an infection or abscess of some kind. I’m also going in expecting the tooth to get ripped out so! what a day that’s gonna be
#:)#like lack of pain means nerves that were on the fritz the entire time#are not responding anymore#I know this from my tooth hurting. it stops. it comes back. it stops. I get a root canal. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯#mind you the one tooth I did have pulled had a hole so fucking big I’m assuming#it just took the nerves clean out at the start#bc that hole got BIG. BIG. I could put my tongue in that thing I had to clean it out after every meal#and I told the receptionist on the phone yeah there’s a hole and she’s like how can you tell#I CAN PUT MY TONGUE THROUGH HALF THE TOOTH LMFAO#but a different tooth HURT so we fixed that one first dmfnfndj AND GET THIS. ITS THE ONE IM EXPECTING TO BE RIPPED OUT#HAH. A FULL CIRCLE. MAN. THAT WHOLE HUGE FUCK OFF FILLING FOR NOTHING#luckily they cap at a certain amount per financial year so it’s $36 or smth and if I go enough and hit the cap I don’t pay anymore which is#additionally the first pulled tooth was a very back molar also. this one is on the other side and on the lower jaw instead#which Could effect chewing a bit#but like the other one I figure I’ll get used to it. so. it is what it is#I’m willing to just say goodbye I just want a photo of it if possible#bc one root canal was like. a worry. bc of how fucking huge my roots are they worried the filling#would push the tooth in and it’d hit nerves and maybe it would reject. alas that did not happen so!#ooc#can you tell we have good luck with teeth in my family#I’m not the only one with teeth missing and technically with how bad mine are they’re still not even the WORST so! silver linings!

Thinking about a whumpee with chronic pain, especially nerve damage. Maybe it's something the whumper did, maybe they're missing a limb or teeth and the empty space hurts. Maybe it it's that, but it was environmental. Maybe they have mitochondrial damage or lyme disease. Maybe it's a pain disorder like MPD, fibromyalgia, or ME/CFS.
They feel persistent, significant pain in a place that in no way connects to a visible injury or body part, so people dismiss them, thinking they're making it up, that they just want attention or drugs. They keep telling whumpee that it's all in their head and will go away if they exercise/eat more or differently/other thing that does absolutely nothing for nerve pain (or even makes nerve pain worse). Maybe even Caretaker doesn't believe them...

I think we have a cavity forming on yet another tooth but unfortunately it's been nearly a year and even just thinking about dentist appointments is enough to make us dissociate heavily and start getting painfully tense so I do not fucking know what to do.
I want to get this stuff fixed but we may have to go private for it which would be expensive as hell if we can even make it through an appointment and I'm terrified that whatever treatment we get might just cause more issues because that's what's happened every time we've had dental treatment in the last 5 years

Today was really good even though fatigue was a bitch. I was able to go pick up my plushies, hit the used bookstore and found the second book in the Ambergris trilogy, and got some tacos for dinner.
I am trying not to freak out about my dentist tomorrow or psych eval on Friday, and the little joys are really helping with that.

I have begged repeatedly for any kind of help with the caveat that I'm willing to work for it. I've asked for advice and stooped to begging at this point. Yet for all the people who follow me, almost no one even interacts with any of that to get my writing/art/etc spread so I can work on my housing situation. But when I recognize that being disabled with a part time job and several side jobs is not going to help me find housing in time before I have to move in with people I can only visit for a short time before they start making me panic (and they are my ex-roommates' parents, so awkward situation)... I want a place of my own that's relatively safe, and I'm so scared, and I really don't want to live through what's to come if it's always always always going to suck. FORTY YEARS OF THIS. I cannot take more. I need some mercy, and the mercy I get is putting that responsibility ON ME. I should fix it. Just get help Cal! I ASKED FOR HELP SEVERAL TIMES SO I COULD BE HOUSED I'll ask again, since I'm still here and haven't figured out how to end it: I need help. I wish I was in a position to spend more time helping others than I do right now (I feel like some friends know I reach out or do what I can in little ways despite my limitations). I'm very lucky I work with amazing people and I can rely on them the way I aim for them to rely on me. I love that job even on weekends like this last one where every day we had to deal with some tricky clients. (One called me names Friday.) I love writing, but there is a company hoping to "disrupt the publishing industry with AI" and shit like that, and it's more important than ever to recognize that it's not criminal for someone to desire a career with their passions - esp when too disabled to physically leave the house or focus most days. I love the benefit that a lot of writing makes me happy and is my favorite thing to focus on. Yes, it has difficult parts but that's okay. I just... I am trying. I wish that meant something. I wish it would save me. Edit: Hours later, there's silence. No DMs, no interactions with this post or even a boost to the one that suggests goods and services. So I'm going to assume that my best and then a few million miles beyond my best of hard work isn't good enough, and I'm still to blame, but I also better damn well stay alive to endure every second of the hell of living my ugly ass stupid and extremely worthless life.
#I keep chugging along as it is hoping that something will change and I'm SEVERELY HURTING MY HEALTH TO MANAGE WHAT I AM NOW#without adding onto it#I have even desperately taken up crocheting again and spent all weekend making stuff for a vending event and then didn't sleep well#bc it upset the fibro pain so bad my nerves were screaming all fucking night#if you don't think I have tried then I can't be a bigger person: I sincerely hope you get everything I ever went through on your plate#all the financial problems & health struggles & trauma are yours and I hope you hear a voice screaming in your head “CAL DEALT WITH THIS”#I have fought tooth and nail to grow despite the odds against me as a child and frankly stupid adult who is trying not to be as stupid#some of us spend adulthood re-educating ourselves from scratch and that's not an excuse as much as a fact and I hope you treat other people#a lot better than you have regarded my safety and welfare by thinking some magical fucking fix it with therapy is gonna MAKE ME HOUSED#or help me get my beloved dog back I could really use to hug him and not feel like I abandoned him#I recognize that someone did this out of love for me but rn I need HOUSING and a way to keep my job and my healthcare#I need my surgery on Dec 12 so the grapefruit-sized (prob bigger now) cyst can come out of my abdomen too! THEN PAIN STOPS#I'll stop pissing myself constantly from it pressing on my bladder and I can bend again#I need someone to recognize that I have skills and a deep love of writing so I can do that as a part time job
