insane to me that some people still think that you can say ctommy and cdream are separate and should be viewed separately narratively speaking when a big chunk of the dsmp’s story was driven through cdream’s obsession with ctommy. no im not saying cdream was in the right but its no fun to see people water them down to just cdream using ctommy as a side piece and less like an objective he had to conquer and subdue to fit his regime. or turn around and say ctommy’s story did not revolve much around the abuse he sustained from that in the same breath because it DID and. man. man

i love the bit from oct 17 2020 when tommy and quackity trapped wilbur in a cobblestone box to keep him from pressing the button... wilbur punching through the blocks with his bare hand to try to get to the button... tommy frantically replacing the block in front of him yelling for quackity to do something... the moment when tommy stops, blocks the exit, and tells wilbur to do it. press the button. but then theyd die with him. quackitys like "wait, wait-" but tommy holds his ground and wilbur. ohh wilbur. "why'd you have to make it so hard?"

As Much as I would Love dsmp to receive some sort of series or something About the lore and stuff I really don't think it would serve much good in terms of story. Because like.

It's so easily misinterpreted and it's ANNOYING I think it would Just bring a wave Of new people who are going to mischaracterize everyone and not understand each character the way we do from watching their povs. I think the fact that you see each characters lives and them as people is very important to the story. Especially when it comes to arcs like pogtopia. You can see it from everyone's view, and you can see everyone's opinion on things. It helps demonstrate the different relationships much clearer too I think. Anyway sorry for ranting im tired I'll probably waffle more about this Anothsr day but i think if dsmp were to be a TV show or something it would have to be handled VERY carefully because it would lose a lot of its depth I think very easily . Especially when it comes to more minor arcs or less present characters. I think the dsmp is very episodic too, if it were to be made into a movie it would lose part of its charm too . I think it's a cool concept but I personally Think it wouldn't work Very well purely because you would Lose the very human Feel of all the characters because You wouldn't Be seeing everyone's POV of events. And if you were somehow able to figure our how to do that without it being overly jarring or difficult to follow for the watcher I think it Would work A little better but overall I think it would Feel too overproduced or somebting

can we fucking stop assigning “ableist” to characters for no fucking reason. jesus christ. not only is it extremely boring and cop-out storytelling to just make villains out of regular ass characters to create your conflict, it’s also fucking jarring and exhausting to have to be slapped with slurs and ableist microagressions towards a CHILD out of nowhere while reading an otherwise unrelated (and untagged for it!) fic. im not normally one to get this negative on main, but if im being honest? you guys are pissing me the fuck off
