AND this sale also coincides with a fun little content update that adds a bit of extra pizzazz to the end of the game, INCLUDING a few tracks that have been updated to the live orchestral versions. That's right! A real orchestra!!

And we also just launched a "Cabins in the Woods" bundle with Inscryption and What Remains of Edith Finch which is kind of wildly exciting to me because they're both such good games, and I am absolutely delighted to be spoken in the same breath as either of them tbh.

Anyway, big day for Slay the Princess!! We're still working on the Pristine Cut, so expect news on that later this year, but for now, we hope you enjoy our spring update ^_^

Poverty brain is brutal. It doesn’t matter that I’ve had several really good paychecks, the second I get a low paycheck after just spending more casually for my birthday just spiked so much fear into me.

I’m like oh shit better campaign super hard for commissions lest I become destitute!!

One of the joys of the days when I work from home with no scheduled meetings is that if I feel inclined to dress with a Swordsmith Village theme nobody can stop me.

Hmm, reds, greens, Hinokami Kagura... this is also kind of working as a "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from your local KnY nerd" look too. (Tanjiro and Kotetsu have never heard of Christmas so they are joyously performing for the winter holiday of your choice.)

I have no days off this week and should get to work now.

How do you live? Here is a prospect: a small cabin by the ocean where we could have chickens that die of old age. Nothing is a political body to the largest body of water in the world. No grain of sand supports genocide. I am among them now, wondering about the anger of people who have voted against their friends, family, and themselves. I wonder who is tricked by billionaires and realize it is billions of people. The game itself is a farce, which I momentarily forget every two years to believe my flea fingers are human hands that hold unalienable rights.

Oh, but does it matter here? It does. It always matters how the rich run and ruin the world.
It also matters that we live. So I am looking for that place on the coast, out of the way of the world and its changes, to cultivate what cannot be taken, even by dissolution of our identities or marriage: our modern nature and our modern love.
