I have finally finished 2003. What an adventure - I loved it so much. The last season was… interesting… but I really enjoyed the show

Hi!! I was scrolling through your blog appreciating your banger art (as one does) and noticed you mentioned in the tags on one post that you’re thinking of trying to draw Bishop and Stockman and as a big enjoyer of both I am intrigued!! So I wanted to ask how that was coming along? :)

i finally got around to drawing them and being satisfied with the result,,

anyway the fic you sent was insanely good, the writing was really captivating ahgh bishop is such an interesting character and now i will be thinking about future bishop, cody jones and dark turtles found family (it's making me run in circles)

and stockman!! hes so interesting to me as well,, especially if you've read the comics made for the 2003 tmnt show (very good btw you can find them online for free) they give a little more exposition for some of the characters and i enjoyed them

@tmaynt Day 23: Favorite Human Ally

At first I wasn't sure who to do, I love April and Casey, but they had their own days, so I thought I'd focus on some of their other human allies. I thought about doing the Professor from 2003 (Not Professor Hunnicut aka the Fugitoid, The Professor who's name we never learned but was invited to their christmas and never commented on the fact that the turtles were turtles). Also thought about doing Silver Sentry because he's a cool dude, but wasn't sure if a superhuman counted as human lol.

THEN I remembered Cody Jones, and I love him. He's the descendant of April and Casey and is brilliant like his Great Grandma and eager to fight along side the guys like his Great Grandpa. He's a turtle fan boy but doesn't let that cloud his vision of them. He gets to have a silly fun time with the turtles, and the guys get to be out in public during the day thanks to being brought to the future. He's honorary little brother to the turtles <3

Taking Pawns - Chapter 1 - secreterces5, VioletVulpini - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TV 2003) [Archive of Our Own]

This is an excellent story set in season six that looks at Cody Jone's life after the turtles return to their own time. Major characters are President Bishop, the Dark Turtles and Cody Jones.

Although not entirely Christmas themed, there is a lovely Christmas scene.

Okay, look. One of my favorite TMNT character developments is 03Leo becoming Cody's sensei. I don't care if it was in one of "the bad seasons", Leo going from the leader in name only, to The Leader, to losing his confidence and going on a recovery quest, then coming back better than ever, didn't feel complete to me until he got his own student to teach. It doesn't feel right to me to have Leo be his brother's sensei. They're all the same age and have had the same amount of training, even if some of them are less serious about it than others. They're all supposed to be on the same level, just different places within that level. So Leo getting a tag-along kid (and Cody's a fairly well written tag-along kid mind you), and getting to put his character into stark contrast to someone so beneath him on a skill level was a true display of just how much he had grown. and Cody mirrors Leo's arc of In Name Only > True Leader in taking charge of and being more involved in his company.

TMNT x USAGI mega-crossover pt 2 - another lineup sketch

Some more lineup sketches as I try to nail down the height and body differences between this cast so I can keep them consistent in arts (at least to soe degree)

You can tell this one is a lot different, I made this this past week while looking at the old ones from autumn.

Bonus: closeup of the tiny Yui!Usagi thinking about this crossover and how all these other descendant teens are a bit taller than him. Tho he’s not that insecure about his height, it does make him feel weird about being the only one who hasn’t grown taller yet (something like that). 

I feel like headcanoning that... life on the farm with just detroyed vegetables to eat wasn’t all too great a contributor to that...
