Titan Quest 2
Return to the classic mythology-inspired setting of Titan Quest and go toe-to-toe with legendary monsters as you journey across a fantastical reimagining of ancient Greece.
Follow us here and visit Start a free trial!
Nemesis, Goddess of Retribution, is out of control. She is corrupting the Threads of Fate and condemning all those who oppose her to eternal punishment - including you. Take up your weapon, fight alongside gods, and change fate itself in order to stop Nemesis, free those she’s punished, and weave your own epic tale.
From the creators of SpellForce 3 comes a handcrafted action RPG for a new generation of mythical heroes.
A World of Myth and Monsters
Set out on an adventure worthy of the myth that takes you from picturesque beaches to serene Greek temples, to places where no mortal has ever ventured, including the mysterious realm of the Moirai themselves. Battle classic creatures from Greek myth and the original Titan Quest, including Ichthians, Centaurs, Satyrs, Harpies, Sirens, Gryphons, and many, many more.
Exploration-Focused Campaign
Pay close attention to your surroundings! The world is full of mysteries and secrets to discover. Legendary monsters lurk in hidden groves, and you never know when you will end up face-to-face with a god. Visit memorable towns full of life and intrigue. The conversations you engage in and the items you find along your journey can lead to surprising discoveries, or they might just hold the key to stopping Nemesis. This is your adventure.
A Challenge Fit for a Hero
Heroic deeds require heroic effort. The enemies you face are far from defenseless - dodge and counter their attacks, then overwhelm them with a well-timed flurry of blows. Powerful rituals allow you to freely control the game’s difficulty, while deep character customization systems ensure that there’s always a good reason to replay.
Key Features
Flexible character system: In Titan Quest 2, you are in control of your own fate. Customize your hero, then form your own class by combining two masteries. Build your character around the strengths and weaknesses of both masteries, exploring different combinations of skill modifiers, attributes, and items to create your own hybrid class and find your favorite playstyle. Grow your powers from those of a young mortal to a hero to rival the gods themselves!
Meaningful loot: Every item serves a function, and every character class has many options when it comes to finding the perfect equipment. Even the most common spear can be upgraded via affix crafting, and with the right ingredients, you may even forge it into a unique item spoken of only in legend!
Challenging action RPG combat: Enemies form factions and work together, combining their unique skills and abilities to keep you on your toes. Use the deep character build system and access every skill at your disposal to vanquish them in this unique action RPG experience.
A beautiful, handcrafted world rooted in Greek myth: Encounter stunning vistas and deep caverns, and traverse the world with your divine mount, Areion. Use the powers of the gods to uncover secret locations and explore lovingly designed levels full of verticality.
Online multiplayer: Join up with friends to take on the Goddess of Retribution. Like Jason and the Argonauts, sometimes you need a group of heroes for your journey.
Rich and immersive sound: An atmospheric soundtrack blends traditional Greek music with modern orchestral elements to create epic, memorable themes, drawing you into Titan Quest 2's unique world.

Exploring the World of Titan Quest II: Ancient Greece and Mythological Adventures
Tumblr media
Titan Quest II is an action RPG game inspired by Greek mythology focuses on Linux with Windows PC. Thanks to the skilled folks at Grimlore Games for their amazing work. Due to make its way onto Steam. I just dove into the latest dev diary for Titan Quest II, and it's shaping up to be a thrilling ride. This is what's brewing in this upcoming action-packed adventure. First off, Titan Quest II focuses on ancient Greece, in a world where the legendary Spartans are riding through a massive wall. And it instantly hooks your curiosity. The game also takes place in a mythological universe, teeming with gods, monsters, and heroes. A rich tapestry that promises endless exploration and excitement. Plus, we already have insights into Linux support.
Titan Quest II uses Unreal Engine 5. Therefore I think support via Proton should be very much in the cards.
These are the details from THQ Nordic's email reply: they're eyeing Linux compatibility through Proton, which probably means good news for Steam Deck users as well. Plus, they're developing with Unreal Engine 5 for smoother game and better compatibility. But just a heads up, they've also mentioned, "we don't plan a native version right now." The story is centered around Nemesis, the Goddess of Retribution, and weave your own epic tale. She's messing with Fate itself, and it's up to you to stop her. It's not just about battling her, though. You've got to free those she's punished and rewrite your own legendary story. That's a hefty task, but hey, who doesn't like a good challenge?

The Titan Quest II setting is another major draw. We're roaming through a fantasy version of ancient Greece. Doing so with pristine beaches, awe-inspiring temples, and realms no mortal has ever seen. If you're a fan of Greek mythology, this is your playground. From the familiar faces like centaurs and harpies to newer, even wilder creatures, every encounter promises to be unique. Now, let's talk about what makes this more than just a visual appeal. The campaign is heavily focused on exploration. That means secret paths, legendary monsters hidden in unexpected places, and towns brimming with stories. Every conversation, every item you find, might just be the key to unraveling a larger mystery. It's all about discovery and piecing together a grand story. The combat is where Titan Quest II really shines. It's not just hack and slash; you've got to be smart. Dodge, counter, and time your attacks. It's a dance of strategy and skill, making each victory feel earned. Plus, the game lets you adjust the difficulty, so whether you're a seasoned warrior or new to the fray, there's a level that's right for you. Character customization is deep. Mix and match two masteries to create your unique class. This isn't about sticking to predefined roles; it's also about crafting a character that fits your style. Experiment with different skills, attributes, and gear to find the perfect combination for your play style. And speaking of gear, every item in this action RPG matters. Since you can transform even the most basic weapon into something legendary with the right crafting. It's a system in Titan Quest II that encourages experimentation and rewards your efforts.
Multiplayer:
Lastly, let's not forget multiplayer. Teaming up with friends to take down a goddess? It puts you into your own epic Greek saga. The setting is rounded out with a soundtrack that blends traditional Greek tunes with modern orchestral elements. Due to immersing you fully into this mythic world. So, there you have it. Titan Quest II is shaping up to be an epic blend of mythology, exploration, and strategy. Keep your eyes peeled for its launch on Linux via Windows PC. It's a journey through ancient myths like you've never seen before. So be sure to Wishlist the action RPG on Steam.

Looking oh so serious in the finale cutscene with her pink and gold sidearm that I crafted specifically to use in the last encounter of Salvation's Edge. I have yet to use it there though.

ngl I think poe2 ea releasing the second half of the game over the course of some 6-12 months or so has a chance to be the most intensive Live Service Event.. ever?
given that it's already launching with one of the biggest endgames in the genre and an amount of classes/skills that's enough to be considered adequate already I bet content patches are gonna feel so fucking good

Hey y’all, season 2 post episode… 46-47 i think spoilers, but this is about the season 2 wives(and Marco) <3
So we all know that code purple happened when Normal was six and Hero was a little bit older, right?
Implying that most of the parents met and married in the Doodler hellscape that was the current Earth throughout season 2. Like, I’m Certain that things were getting progressively worse over time, and that maybe things didn’t Start with face-eating cults…. But it still means that Rebecca, Marco, Cassandra, and Veronica spent middle school to adulthood in a doodlerized world. And had it in them to marry the people who both felt responsible for it and were aiming to fix it asap.
Scary says she has memories of playing with her other kids when they were babies. Y’know. Before they were six. Implying Veronica at the Minimum used to work for D.A.D.D.I.E.S. Before code purple, and her MIA husband (Scary’s dad) also might have as well.
I’m not sure about the other three though. I almost want them to have been kind of fucked up when they were living on Earth, just because I think it would be really funny. And also possibly part of the reason why the kiddads kind of avoided the subject of earth. I get not wanting to let the spouses live with the regret of code purple, and that it might have been damaging to their relationships… but I think it would be funny if they Also lost those memories bc the kiddads knew they’d be a bit TOO eccentric with everyone in the house knowing how to kill people.
Idk i didn’t sleep last night <3
