I do this thing, this totally unproductive thing, where I randomize a list of my favorite characters and put them in a generator to select them into pairs, and sometimes I write about whoever the combination is but most of the time it inspires me to write about people vaguely related to the two OR I can’t think of anything at all and spend hours just refreshing the sequence page so

Im thinking people should give me prompts??

Thinking about lifesteal void arc again. The only person Jumper was able to be truly genuine with was minutetech. She literally had to be lying to everyone else for her own safety. She couldn’t form real friendships with abyss bc she was planning to betray them. And she couldn’t be friendly with anyone else bc the whole server was against them and she would lose the trust of the abyss. But also no one outside of the abyss trusted her bc she was pretending to be on the enemy team. And when her only uninvolved friend showed up he didn’t trust her either and she was forced to kill him to maintain her cover. She makes me so abnormal. She did all that to save her friends even at the huge cost to herself.

I've started watching jumperwhos day 1 pov for s6 bc I heard her, Ro, and Rekrap were teamed which interested me when I went to the wiki and seen this

which made me ???? bc day one the empire kills them both and they're both saying how they want revenge at the start, running and hiding from them and everything

and like considering both ro and Jumper are down on hearts after being some of the first deaths, its not like they're particularly powerful allies to a team like the empire who are like arguably one of the most stacked teams on the server, esp early game when the bigger numbers means a lot

thennn I realized the empires only other alliance was zam which is what made me go "oh, so their only alliances are the special little guys of certain members of their team then" since no way is anyone on that team allying w zam willy nilly except mapicc bc of COURSE his ass is allying w zam

so I scroll down and. lo and behold, of fucking course the sticklers are only allied w the empire bc its minute and mapicc, of COURSE. there's just no world where it's anyone else bc to be quite honest it's only an alliance bc the sticklers have Jumper and Ro on the team; no way the empire gaf about a team who is lower on hearts and some of the easier kills in the server unless it's due to mapicc and minutes own biases

very excited to see how fast we go from ro and jumper scattering the moment they see the empire people to them being allies bc hopperclock and duality bias is *gestures*

Saw your essay about kab's relationships with people but what are your thoughts about her relationship with bacon? I might be misremembering some things but I think it's interesting (that I'm pretty sure) that bacon's one of the few people that's pushing her to take responsibility and deal with her own stuff (again I might misremembering things lol)

he is! in fact it hink hes the Most invested in kab taking responsibility and doing things on her own due to his own background and beliefs because just like zam and mapicc he cares a lot about the server staying functional and the players Doing Things (its the main reason why abyss formed in the first place)

i think the reason bacon decided to take on a bit of a mentor role for kab rather than his usual method of just hating on someone is cause, as her teammate who she doesnt fully hate, hes in a position wherein hes capable of both fighting and yapping with her and have her actually listen to him without necessarily ruining their relationship so he takes full advantage of it to instruct her on what he thinks would help her both contentwise (taking responsibility and doing things on her own) and survivalwise (giving her surprise escape and pvp practice sessions)

kab resents the lessons but she knows he cares and she at least appreciates that even if she would rather not be caught by surprise and losing her things

there is a post with most of my characters, but this post is meant to have all of them and info about them! usually there's more info about them in posts linked with their names! (while writing i've realized some ocs have...very little lore i have vocalized on tumblr, so this ended up very, very long. i would appreciate it if you gave it all a read though! i explained a lot of unexplained lore here)

>1// The Friend(they/it) and Poppy(she/they/it) my slugcat sona! they went from being a lost pup named Firecracker to a slugcat who found joy in bonds with living creatures, giving themself name the Friend. one day they end up creating a daughter, Poppy, who made them realize they lacked slugcat company throughout their journey, which made them set on a new one - a journey that concludes with them finding new friends and establishing their own colony, taking an inside name the Matriarch (which isn't used as often as just Friend)

>2// Eclipse of Sunrise(she/her), Eleven Stars Bringing Dawn(it/they), Celestial Magnificence(she/her), Three Pillars bathing in Sunshine(she/it), the Timejumper(they/it) further to the west(there's a map in the end of this post), an iterator called Celestial Magnificence resides. her superstructure was tied to beautiful Gardens, a system of ecosystems fabricated by the Ancients. a lot of unique flora and fauna could be found there, and quite some was dependant on light. then, mostly out of malice, another superstructure was built...practically on top of it all. with sunlight blocked, Celestial Gardens had to adapt and, to some extent, ended up mixing up and falling apart, straying from their initial structures. lime lizards were a huge part of the Gardens, and their light source being blocked made some stray in search of sunlight, while some became way more hostile after being in darkness for too long.

Three Pillars bathing in Sunshine is a lizard that made its way to upper part of CM's can and was ADORED by her when she accidentally ended up in her puppet room. Sunny ends up a messenger although lime lizards are not the best at climbing, making it challenging for her to reach for the main recipient - Eclipse of Sunrise.

unlike her creators, Eclipse of Sunrise was always fond of Celestial Magnificence. having knowledge of what she was like in her prime time, before she herself was built, makes EOS extremely bitter about not being able to witness her in her full glory. she is the whole reason the shade was thrown onto CM and the least she could do was create a strong bond with her.

Eleven Stars Bringing Dawn is a slugcat created by EOS for this entire purpose! it usually just chills on top of Eclipse. its special coat stores and produces light in the dark environment, making it slightly easier to go through the pitch black areas under its iterator's can.

The Timejumper is a slugcat with a supernatural ability to return to their previous cycle to benefit in current one, which proves itself useful in the unstable environment some of the Gardens have turned into.

Pink is very curious about hunting techniques. Blue really likes trying to climb like real blue lizards do, being a goofball all the time.

they were initially an Ancient, bound by karma and confused about others' desire to ascend. the fear of being left behind forced them to try to ascend despite the stories of those who were left as echoes of the past. and, to their surprise, nothing that terrifying happened, except they did not escape the great cycle, no. they were reincarnated into a small slugcat, forced to survive with knowledge the world would not let them go away.

at first, they had a decent memory of their knowledge and even could recreate their craft as a small critter. but as time went on, as they tried ascending again and failed every time, their memories become foggier. in the Blizzard era, they cannot even remember who kept them bound for so long.

Twenty Curses, Silver Bells is a slugcat who had Rot developing in them ever since they were a pup, but they never ended up dying to it, mostly co-existing. Bells is GTH's favourite thing ever though! The Pursuer is a carnivorous slugcat that took features of centipedes in development. They are the oldest one in the Blooming Terrarium. Lantern is a young slugcat who chose to befriend the threat and share brain cells with a blue lizard! they are now inseparable! Coal was actually initially levzee's sona's slugpup from 'adopt a slugpup' event, but Good Things Happen now takes care of him. maybe one day they'll reunite, maybe not.

Grasshopper is seen by other scavengers as a very reliable friend! she is the only one to witness Artificer's slaughter unfold right before her eyes. she still wonders why the crimson raging slugcat only shot a glance at her and never enacted her rage onto her. Leap and Collector are siblings that were a little too young to remember what exactly happened that day, but they are very aware of the tragedy as they were taken outside the city because of it and Grasshopper doesn't let them forget what brought them to wilderness.

Flashdrive and their iterator do not care though! she's committed to the goal. well, except for some times where their own desires overtake them, such as when they met a crimson slugcat named Beehive and fell for her immediately...

hello lifesteal fandom and timejump/hopperclock enjoyers

My friend and I have been working on a super cool au where Jumper is a space explorer and mechanic and she stumbles up Minute who is a robot who was abandoned on a remote planet. The fic is based on different aspects of season 5 of lifesteal, specifically the void war. Chapters are on track to come out every thursday and I think you all should give it a try!
