Time for Him to Come Home for Christmas

So these movies have always been a bit of a hit or miss with me. But I absolutely loved this one. Everything from the angst and miscommunication between Elizabeth and Josh through out to the connected story of the voicemail couple. Even thought the movie felt oddly simple, it kept me invested the whole time about how everything added up. Also I’m a sucker for the best friend/secret crush troupe so that added on the excitement for me. Plus I really like the flashback moments as well. The only thing I had an eh moment with was the whole music aspect. While I thought the whole band thing and ending scene was nice, I don’t think the movie needed that element to be as great as it was. But at the same time, it didn’t hinder me from fully enjoying the movie. In terms of casting, it was cool to see Holland Roden star in a movie on the network. Apparently we’ll see her again on the channel based on a interview she did. She made a lovely leading lady. Tyler. Freaking. Hynes. Now, I could go on for hours about how much I love him. He’s my favorite Hallmark Hunk after all. This was probably one of the most swoon worthy, weak at the knees movies of him for me. While both of them did a fabulous job with portraying all the emotions through out the movie, he was pulling at my heart strings the entire time. But let’s be real, he never fails me with his movies. But this duo was wonderful. I loved the chemistry between them and I was pulled in by them from the very beginning and they are easily one of my favorite pairings we’ve seen so far.

Rating: 3 - Easily my favorite Miracles of Christmas movie so far this year and I think it will be a hard one to beat for me. But we’ll see.

I previously wrote that Manon is a Scorpio and if I want to narrow it down to a specific date I’m 100% sure she’ll have an iconic birth day because it’s Manon (it’s unintentional on her part tho) so I’d say she was born on November 11
