With Damian: The Brother he thought was Dead was right on top of him, mind going overdrive, calm panicking as the brother he thought was dead was right on top of him vivi- or dis- sected and he sees the LAZARUS BLOOD
With Tim: Just found out that he had a brother when he was searching through his Childhood mansion he lived alone in...he's much calmer than Damian because of Emergency/Training Instincts kicking in but After he has a breakdown and after is researching about the Anti Ecto Acts Danny mentioned when delirious in full on PANIC about NOT going into Regular hospitals
With Jason: his Older Younger brother that saved him from danger when he was just a little boy/guy right now is AdLeIaVdE on his arms BLEEDING. He's all EMOTION, He's ALL RAGE but saving him is PRIORITY.
DPXDC Prompt #99
ghosts are very emotionally driven creatures, so much that they can tell when your thinking about them. This is to help calm ghosts to let them know that they are still loved among the living and allows some of them to feel some sort of closure. This can go even further through and if the ghost is weak enough thinking about them causes them to be summoned. Of course this feeling washes over Danny and he can feel his sibling that he hasnât seen since they were separated as young kids thinking about him. This is right after his parents were in the middle of their little experiment on him after they found out his little secret. His form was fading and he couldnât form more than a giant blob so when he feels the pull he lands right in front of his sibling and chaos ensues.

Have you heard of the show "Undercover Boss"? Where the CEOs of companies disguise themselves as entry level newbies to see what goes on under their noses?
I know the show itself is spiced up for TV drama, but I can definitely imagine this premise in a DPxDC scenario.
Picture Bruce Wayne (or Lucius Fox) disguised as a new hire within the aerospace division of Wayne Enterprises, with young mechanic Danny Fenton showing him around.
#dpxdc#danny fenton#batman#danny phantom#bruce wayne#I can't remember if Lucius or Bruce is the current CEO but I guess it works either way depending on who's busier that day#I just know that Tim wasn't actually the CEO but was instead the major shareholder#Danny in this would probably be between 18-20#so he too would be just getting his foot in the door#The other aerospace mechanics and engineers stuck this new old guy with the naive weird kid to keep them both out of the way#Meanwhile Bruce/Lucius are staring at this passionate young man regaling his worrying past#of accidental electrocution and escaping an âunsafe home environmentâ#Maybe he mentions having an older sister and a 4-6 year old daughter he escaped with#(that daughter being Ellie of course)#and Bruce/Lucius is just like â˘_

DPxDC Zero Gravity
Things Justice League knows about Danny Phantom:
He's dead (why, how, and for how long is unclear)
He's generally on the 'good' side (but contingency plans have been set up in case of 'future evil self' resurfacing, by Danny's own suggestion)
He's a figure of authority among other dead/neverborn/otherworldly/eldritch/magical beings (however, it's unclear to what kind of authority he holds and why)
He's dating one of the Bats (unclear to who, but none of them confirmed nor denied the fact, which is a confirmation on its own)
He absolutely hates only three things: toast, circus, and Christmas (neither of them explained)
His powerset is so wide that he can't even fully recount it (unclear if it's because he doesn't remember all his abilities or if he can't keep track of the new ones popping up spontaneously)
He's hot [whoever added this, you're not wrong, but I'm watching you - O.]
He has a grudge against Flash (unclear to why, but Flash seems to know the reason and won't budge regardless)
Of course, there are many more things to know about Danny Phantom, but they are mostly suspicions, rumors, and speculations. Like how sometimes the boy seems distracted and bored as if he is only going through a pre-written script; a sign of repeatedly going through the same day a few times too many, as the other time-travellers say. Or like how sometimes he knows too much - the boy is an expert in Kryptonian biology, to Clark's great surprise, and is more knowledgeable about Olympus politics than Diana herself.
There are also little things that are hard to notice and even harder to ignore once you do. How he never talks about family but likes listening to others talk about it. How he pointedly stays away from the medbay and any kind of medical staff. How he stops every time he passes one of the giant windows on the main floor of the Watchtower, smiling dreamily at the sight of vast, open space beyond it.
And then, there's The Thing that no one addresses.
When Danny Phantom doesn't pay attention, he unknowingly nullifies gravity.
The first time it happened, Bruce thought the Watchtower's artificial gravity collapsed. However, he very quickly realized that it was a local occurrence - only a few rooms and a hallway were affected - and, right in the center of it, was Danny, reading a book he borrowed (stolen) from the Wayne manor library.
The boy himself never noticed it. Which made sense, given that he defied gravity all on his own, always floating in the air above the floor.
But the others never acknowledged it either, treating the sudden absence of gravity as a sign of one, Danny appearing somewhere around, and two, him being in a good, if a bit absent, mood.
All in all, it's not the strangest thing that happens at the Watchtower on a daily basis.
And, besides, it's kind of fun.
¤¤¤
Danny, floating in the middle of the game room at Wayne manor, deeply engrossed in a video game: Eat this, sucker!
Tim, using his toes and knees to keep himself from floating up from the couch, not wanting to distract Danny from their match: Oh, you're going down.
Titus in the background:
¤¤¤
Bart, in the middle of a conversation with Kon:
Kon: ...
Bart, looking down at the cup on the floor: ... I guess he left?..
Kon: He literally went through a giant glowing portal two minutes ago, five feet away from you, but that's how you figure it out?
Bart: I have a short attention span, anyway-
¤¤¤
Barry, opening a bag of chips just for all the contents and himself as well to start floating: I swear he does this on purpose, I fucking swear.
¤¤¤
Red Tornado, coming into the training hall of Mount Justice: ...
Young Justice:
Red Tornado: I take it Danny is visiting. I'll leave you to it, then.
¤¤¤
Bruce, walking out of the conference room at the Watchtower to see this on the other end of the hallway, internally: He may be coming this way, I should warn the others in the room.
Bruce, a second later, because he is a little shit deep inside: On the other hand, it's a great surroundings awareness drill, so maybe I shouldn't.

Tim Drake's Immortal Babysitter
Tim Drake has always had someone watching over him. The Bast just don't know it.
Because before Tim was Red Robinâbefore he was even walkingâthe Drakes made a deal. They were rich, busy, and too occupied with their globe-trotting lifestyle to actually raise their son. But they still wanted Tim protected. Watched over. Cared for.
Enter Danny.
Young-looking, strangely unaging, with sharp blue eyes and a warm smile, he seemed like a responsible college kid just looking for a babysitting gig. Only he wasnât. Because behind the casual charm and the easy grin was Phantom, the immortal protector of Amity Parkânow moonlighting as the personal bodyguard of one Tim Drake.
The Drakes paid him an obscene amount of money to keep their son safe. But Danny didnât do it for the money. He did it because he promised.
And Danny always keeps his promises.
-â
Tim doesnât remember a time without Danny.
Danny, who stayed with him when his parents were gone for months at a time. Danny, who dried his tears and soothed his nightmares. Danny, who bandaged scraped knees and taught him how to ride a bike. Danny, who picked him up from school and brought him home to a warm meal, even when his parents didnât care enough to call.
And when Tim got olderâwhen he grew sharper, smarter, and far too observantâhe started noticing things. How Danny never seemed to age. The way Danny was always there, no matter what. How he could do things no normal person could doâlike pull Tim out of the path of an oncoming car and somehow appear twenty feet away a second later, holding him safely in his arms.
Tim figured it out by the time he was ten.
"Youâre Phantom, arenât you?" he asked one night, voice steady, too sure for a child. Danny stared at him for a moment, then huffed out a tired laugh. "Yeah, Tim. I am." Tim blinked once. "Cool. Can you teach me how to fight?"
Danny had laughed so hard he nearly cried. And then, he did teach him.
-â
So by the time Tim became Robin, Danny already knew.
He didnât try to stop him. He didnât tell him it was too dangerous. He just smiled wryly, ruffled Timâs hair, and made him promise to let Danny help.
That way, when Tim was too tired to make it home? Danny was there, carrying him back to his apartment. When Tim got injured? Danny was the one who patched him up before anyone else could even find him. When Tim couldnât stand after a fight? Danny was the one pulling him into his arms, flying him away before the family even realized he was gone.
And no one knew.
The Bats didnât notice the subtle extra layer of protection. The faint wisp of cold air that followed Tim after patrols. The second shadow lingering on the rooftops.
None of them saw the glimmer of white hair that flickered out of sight or the flash of toxic green eyes that glared from the dark whenever someone got too close to Tim.
And Tim? Tim was happy.
Even when Bruce found out about Timâs parentless situation and, with all his good intentions, suggested adoptionâoffering to bring Tim into Wayne Manor, to make him part of the familyâTim just shook his head.
"Thanks, but no thanks," he said easily. Bruce blinked. "Tim, I can give you a home. You donât have toâ" "I already have a home," Tim interrupted softly. Because he did. Because Danny was his family.
-â
The family doesnât know. They donât know that when Tim comes back from a rough patrol, thereâs already a cup of hot chocolate waiting for him at home. That when Tim is too tired to train, thereâs someone helping him stretch and taking care of his body. That when Tim doesnât answer his comm, itâs because Danny is already there.
And when Tim is Red Robin, moving with practiced ease through Gotham, Phantom is always nearby, invisible to everyone else but always watching over him.
Tim doesnât need to be adopted. He doesnât need a Bat symbol on his chest to feel safe. Because he has Danny, and Danny has him.
And that's all he'll ever need.
#tim drake#danny phantom#danny fenton#batfam#dc x dp#janet definitely knew there was something special about danny which is why she hired him instead of some professional 5 star nanny#danny becomes tim's pseudo father#tim basically gets adopted by danny

Short DPXDC prompt #2, from @stealingyourbones.
âItâll be good for you!â Dick threw an arm around Timâs shoulders as he beamed his way through Gotham Uâs campus.
âI could have done this online. They have virtual degrees. I could have hacked my way into one.â
âYeah, but then you wouldnât get the authentic experience!â
The group arrived at the dorm building, one of many, and Damian gave it a dubious once over.
âIf this is authentic, I refuse to be a part of the locals.â Damian quietly remarked, before peering cautiously at Dick. âI have obtained my degrees. I do not need this experience.â
âItâs really not that bad, guys.â
âHow would you know? You went to BlĂźdhaven for college.â Tim retorted with the voice of a young man resigned to despair. âYou lived off campus and your door pin was Zitkaâs birthday, month first then date second.â
â⌠Tim, why the fuck do you know that.â
âWhen I knocked on your door, that was just common courtesy. I didnât actually need you to open it. I could have opened it myself.â
Dickâs smile brightens even further, with the light of an LED bulb instead of his usual sun, and places a hand on Timâs head. âYouâre creepy sometimes, you know that?â
âAnd youâre careless sometimes, you know that?â Tim groused. âUgh, whatever. Letâs just get this over with. I canât believe Iâm going to have a roommate.â
âItâll be fun! And if it isnât, you can always swap roomies. We have enough pull to have that happen.â
âDoubtlessly.â Damian said. âThis campus barely passes the bar of acceptability. Why is the campus like this. Why is it incorporated into the city.â
Tim smirked. Even though Damian spoke with formal language only found in the highest of echelons of society, Jonâs influence was beginning to make itself known. Good for him, the little shit. Privately, Tim thought the presence of a Kryptonian brought out the better sides of a bat. God knows Kon did, for him.
âOkay, enough whining you two! Letâs get Tim settled in.â
Tim elbowed Dick in the gut and kept walking into the building as his big brother wheezed dramatically. Damian rolled his eyes- heâs seen Nightwing take harder hits than Drakeâs pointy elbows and walk it off- and followed. Unbeknownst to them, Dick all but beamed with joy at their solidarity. His plan was working.
ââ
Tim settled into the dorm, disgruntled at the small and uncomfortable twin mattress. The dorm smelt of faint mildew, had at least ten safety code violations, and had ventilation that probably hasnât been cleaned since the last fear gas attack. The vent thing honestly might explain the state of Gotham Uâs students and their proclivities to become supervillains. Tim is more tempted to go into villainy than ever before with these conditions.
That is, until his roomie walked in.
Step 1) reboot brain.
Holy shit, his roomie was HOT.
Step 2) notice all the weird things his roomie all showed unconsciously. Too graceful. Walking carefully, like how Kon does sometimes when heâs remembering to be careful with his fragile surroundings. Meta? Too sharp teeth.
Wait. Sharp teeth?
âUh, hi. Iâm Danny. You must be my roommate. Tim, right?â The guy, Danny, had a deep voice. And too sharp teeth. Because he smiled. It was a damn nice smile.
Step 3) bi panic. DID TIM MENTION HE WAS HOT??
âUh. Hi. Yeah, Iâm Tim.â
âCool. Whatâre you majoring in?â
âForensic Analysis. You?â
âAerospace engineering.â
They looked at each other awkwardly. âCool, Iâm just gonna set my stuff down.â
âYouâre not from here, right?â Tim asked and promptly flushed when an amused smile gets thrown his way.
âThe accent give it away?â
âYeah. Uh. You want a tour, man?â
âSure. Thanks.â
ââ
It was flashes of things.
âOh. I donât go anywhere without my thermos.â Danny smiled, patting the dented thing. Except, Timâs never seen him drink from it.
Or:
âOh, woah. Foodâs not attacking me.â And the thing is, Danny actually looked apprehensive before poking at the cafeteria food.
What??
And a month passes before Tim realizes heâs one hundred percent absolutely fucked.
Because itâs one thing if itâs an extremely attractive dork with brains and humor.
Itâs an entirely different thing if the extremely attractive dork with brains and humor was a complete and total mystery. Tim is an absolute sucker for mysteries. Itâs even more attractive than smacking him in the face with a brick!
âHey, Tim?â
âUh. Yeah?â Tim screamed at himself. Heâs dated like fifteen different people! Why the hell is he so awkward with Danny?
(Tim was always awkward. He has that autistic rizz.)
âTell me more about blood splatters?â Danny asked with a hopeful smile. Tim folded like wet paper. (It helps that he knows a lot- too much- about analyzing blood splatters.)
ââ
Outside of their window, Nightwing cackled to himself. It was worth using the Wayne name to get Tim the most interesting college kid Dick could find as a roommate. Who said Tim had the market corner on stalking anyways?
Nightwing flipped off of the roof, all but skipping home.
Robin, his patrol partner for the night, grimaced. For all Richard was his favorite, the man unsettled him at times.

From a Spirit to Human to Halfa
DP x DC Prompt
For as long as Danny remembers, he's had these strange habits. He likes to climb things and swing on them. He likes to read books. He is incredibly smart for his age, and he loves animals.
After he became a Halfa, he would occasionally see a shadow from the corner of his eye, but when he looks to the shadow, it's gone.
He learns why from Clockwork after he defeats Dan and is learning to become the Ghost King, he's still too young to inherit the throne. He's a neverborn who has been reincarnated, but he's not any regular neverborn Ghost. He's the reincarnated Spirit of Robin.
The Spirit of Robin had suffered too greatly in a battle to protect the Gotham of the Infinite Realms, so Clockwork had made a deal with the Spirit of Batman. Clockwork would help the Spirit of Robin, and the Spirit of Batman would look after him as he grows up.
It was a lot to take in to learn that Danny is the reborn Spirit of Robin, his idols. He debates on whether he should go to Gotham or stay away, as he doesn't know what the Vigilantes of Gotham are going to do when he tells them, he doesn't even know if they'll believe him.
Over the course of two years, Danny began to gain the skills from the previous Robin's. He's become a lot more acrobatic (Dick), remembers how to survive on the streets (Jason), can now use a Bo Staff in battle (Tim), and knows how use a sword and speak a strange language (Damian and LoA dialect).
And then the GIW and his parents learn of him being Phantom and attack him. He had to leave Amity behind, not knowing what happened to Jazz, Sam, and Tucker, who helped him make out of Amity before the GIW could get him.
He's going to Gotham, as he doesn't know where else to hide. He knows that Lady Gotham is going to welcome him but doesn't know if the vigilantes will be so welcoming.
The Robins had been feeling off for the past few months (Infinite Realms times are wonky), and none of them know why. It's like a piece of them had vanished, and they feel incomplete. But soon, they will feel complete when a certain Halfa has made it to Gotham.

Batboy Missing
First | Previous | Next
Danny despite everything still liked acting on his own. He needed some space.
Bludhaven was his stomping ground now but it wouldn't be so bad to secretly fly into Gotham. Definitely not to see the other robins or anything. Especially not to see Red Robin.
They may have met briefly some time ago on a rooftop.
Dick didn't even tell him that Red Robin was his age and was cute. Dick already didn't like it when Danny said he thought Tim was attractive. Honestly, he had no room to talk he dated Barbara. It wouldn't be weird if he didn't overthink it.
Still, Red Robin was definitely his type. Then again if he had a dine for every red vigilante he had a crush on he would have 2 dime and well you know the rest.
Danny found it hard not to think about their first meeting.
"Wow, you are much more stunning up close."
The voice came from none other than Red Robin who almost snuck up on Danny who had let him approach.
Danny wondered what exactly the teen was seeing when he looked at Danny.
Red Robin eyed Danny with an intense probing curiosity. Not like how a scientist looks at a butterfly pinned to a board but like a photographer eyes a wild animal. Respect, awe, and excitement.
"You aren't so bad yourself," Danny responded keeping a healthy distance between them.
"Batboy right? I'm Red Robin. Call me Red." He held put his hand to shake.
"Batboy. Call me...uh...Batboy." Danny said awkwardly.
Red Robin seemed to get closer and closer when Danny wasn't looking directly at him.
It was throwing Danny off because the moment had gotten too close his wings reflexively unwrapped from around his shoulders.
"I was right, fruitbat wings. But they connect to your back, not your arms. Like having two sets of arms." Red Robin mumbled as he slid a gloved hand down one wing.
"He-Hey! You shouldn't touch a bat's wings like that." Danny shivered, his face was on fire.
"Oh, are your wings sensitive?"Red Robin teased pulling back and holding up his hands in feigned innocence. "Or is it that it's too personal? Should I buy you dinner first?"
Danny wanted to be upset but he felt the opposite. Maybe because it felt like the teen was playing with him.
Their meet-cute was ended quickly unfortunately since an emergency came up on Robin's end.
That's not why Danny is visiting Gotham. He could just be trying to see the other Robin or Batgirl. Batgirl is cool.
Danny stealthed his way through Gotham towards Crime Alley when a dark shadow was spotted nearby. Danny immediately dropped into an alleyway assuming it was Batman and trying to avoid him.
The young bat knew it was unwise to spread his wings here. They were too liable to get caught in the narrows. He shifted his wings away but he needed something else to help him. Sure he still had his ghost powers, but here in Gotham using them too much risked getting the eyes of the spirits here. Not to mention the Observers. Danny knew to limit his abilities and not overstep boundaries. Danny could only rely on shifting since it was considered a secondary ability.
Danny tried to remember any anatomy he had memorized that could help him. Shifting is very complicated and seeing something isn't always enough, he needed to know the function the further removed it was from his human form.
As Danny rethought his next move someone had sensed him. Red Hood was prowling the area.
Red Hood wasn't completely unaware of Batboy. He knew little of what was going on in Bludhaven but social media was an explosion of posts about Batboy the new sidekick to Nightwing. But the only thing he really knew about the teen was that he had giant bat wings.
The kid that is currently wandering around the alley does not have batwings.
It was just a kid hiding behind a dumbster and about to get mugged.
He was going to save the kid but it wasn't necessary as he watched the kid kick the would-be robber in the face.
When Hood finally got close enough to talk to the kid as he stood over the fallen man he saw a set of Lazarus green eyes shine in the dark like a cat.
Creepy.
A sinking sense of dread seemed to shroud him before passing through him like a cold breeze.
The green-eyed kid stared into his soul as he crept closer. A pull in his chest towards him bubbled inside like a cauldron of oil.
The white-haired teen looked at him with a deep weary sorrow. Without warning Jason felt arms wrap around his shoulders as the teen hugged him. Deep inside of Jason, he felt something settle.
"Im so sorry." The boy said "Let me help."
Without another word the teen pushed his hand into Jason's chest. Just through his body without resistance.
"What the hell are you-" Jason didn't finish as a foul brackish fluid came out of his mouth.
"This filth is not your own. It is polluting you." He said pulling his hand out. "Catch your breath. Slowly. In and out."
Jason felt like a heavy weight was lifted off his chest. Like this was his first breath of air since his revival.
In the teen's hand was a blob of black tar that he rolled into a ball before promptly popping it into his mouth.
"Ew." Jason said.
"Don't judge me. It tastes disgusting but if it isn't consumed it'll infect someone else." He said.
"What are you?"
"....a ghost." The teen paused before responding as if not knowing what to call himself.
"A ghost? As in undead?" Jason knew this had to be some kind of serial joke. It had to be.
"I don't make the rules. I'm a ghost. And you are a revenant. You are just a more alive version of me. Closer to life than death." The teen said.
"Who are you then?" Jason asked this time calmer as he steadied his nerves.
"Call me Phantom for now. I'm just trying to hide from Batman. I don't want him trying anything." Phantom said going back to looking for Batman.
Jason still had questions for Phantom.
"Alright follow me then. The Bat isnt welcome around here and I have a safe house you can wait out in." Jason sighed turning to leave.
The teen seemed to get that Jason wasn't going to hurt him and followed.

The Wrong Robin Au (part five)
Previous | Master Post | Next
Danny sat back with a wince, watching as Bruce and his butler (The man introduced himself as Alfred) collected themselves. Jason's book was now sitting on a shelf, displayed for everyone to see. Bruce's desk was moved back into place, and the chairs were repositioned. There wasn't any evidence of what had just occurred.
"would you like me to get you a rag, young sir?" Alfred asked, turning to glance at Danny with a raised brow.
Danny lifted his hand and gently touched his nose, hissing when it stung and throbbed. Pulling his hand back, Danny found his fingers covered in blood.
Well, that was going to be hard to explain later...
"yeah, thanks." Danny finally agreed, moving his hand back to hopefully keep more of his blood from staining his hoodie. His ectoplasm was just begging him to heal it, but he held back, watching as Bruce turned to face him.
The man was no longer crying his little emo furry heart out or blinded with rage. Instead, he was standing still with a calculative gleam in his eyes. Danny just knew the man was going to do a background check as soon as Danny left. (Or when Danny wasn't paying attention, he was Batman after all. Who knows what he was going to do?)
It's a good thing there was nothing that connected him with Phantom. Besides the drop in grades and convenient absences, but that can be excused by the trauma of his accident and all the ghost fights. Otherwise, Danny would be screwed.
No one besides Jazz and Wes has been able to figure it out, and he'd like to keep it that way, thank you very much. He's retired now, or well, was retired. He might be getting back into the crime-fighting part again, but he was going to do everything in his power to keep from getting pulled back into ghost-fighting and dealing with the occult every day.
He could handle following Batman around at night and punching a few goons here and there, but the ghost fights? The world ending catastrophes? The annoying cult summoning? He didn't think he could handle it again. And sure, if there was no other option he would go out and protect the world. (It would be very shitty of him not to if he could do something when no one else could. He lived here too, you know.)
But that's not his job anymore. No, that's what the Justice League is for. (was for... He had forgiven them for not being there for him when it mattered. They were here now. So it was fine. No, it wasn't) They're the ones who are protecting Earth now. They're the ones who have to drop everything and help save the world. Not him. Not anymore.
Maybe he could think of this as a really shitty vacation? Then once he's sure Batman is stable and that Tim won't do something stupid, Danny could go back to Amity and figure out what he wanted to do with the rest of his life. Maybe he could even go to college?
"Why are you here?" Bruce asked, his calculated eyes still boring into Danny's head. Danny, having gotten used to ghosts popping up and speaking to him at all hours of the day, didn't flinch as he glanced back up at Bruce.
"To keep you from killing yourself, seriously dude. Did you not hear when I told you earlier?" Danny spat, pointedly wiping the blood off his chin.
Bruce barely even moved, but Danny could tell he had winced. Sensing people's emotions was going to become one of the more useful powers he had, wasn't it?
...
How long was his nose going to bleed, again? Didn't broken noses stop bleeding after a few minutes?
His core flared in annoyance, finally making him remember a very important fact.
He was half dead. As in his body doesn't heal or change without the influence of his ectoplasm. This means he's going to keep bleeding until he either doesn't have any blood to bleed or he lets his ectoplasm heal it.
Great.
That's not going to make Bruce suspicious at all. Nope. Definitely not.
Focusing on his nose, Danny let his ectoplasm rush to the area and start healing it, but held it back before it could do more than stop the bleeding.
Alfred entered the room not even a second later, "here you go, young sir. Just hold it there for a minute while I prepare my med kit."
Danny grabbed the rag handed to him and pressed it to his nose, ignoring the sharp pain. He watched as Alfred placed his med kit on the side table and started digging through it. After a few minutes, Alfred leaned back and pulled on some gloves.
"let me have a look," he demanded, turning to kneel in front of Danny. Danny sighed, removed the rag, and leaned forward to let Alfred get a closer look. The man clicked his tongue, but gently grabbed his face and studied the injury.
Bruce shuffled awkwardly in the background, looking like a child waiting to get scolded. Good. He was a grown-ass man for crying out loud, he should get scolded for breaking Danny's nose.
"Alright, this will hurt," Alfred said, moving his hands to gently rest next to Danny's nose. Danny, having dealt with many broken noses before, looked away from the older man and stared Bruce dead in the eyes.
With sure but quick movements, Alfred straightened his nose with a loud crunch. Bruce's eyes narrowed as Danny bit his tongue, keeping any other sign of pain to himself.
"There," Alfred sighed, "it was a clean break, so you'll only have to keep some gause on it until you go to the doctor. Master Bruce?"
Bruce grunted, before finally looking over to his butler. "I'm fine, Alfred."
"good," Alfred nodded, "then I shall put on some tea. In the meantime, I recommend you two have a civil conversation."
Danny leaned back, taking the wet rag Alfred handed to him, and cleaned his face. Now that his nose looked normal, Danny allowed his ectoplasm to start healing it. He didn't plan on seeing Bruce again anytime soon, so any bruises or swelling he should have, won't matter.
Alfred finished placing his medical supplies away and held his hand out for the rags, once Danny gave them to him, the man swiftly left the room. bruce will probably want to test his blood later now that Danny thinks about it. Well, that's definitely something Batman would do, Danny thinks.
Oh well, it's not like his blood would reveal anything. It's literally just his human blood. Now if he was bleeding as Phantom? This would be a whole other problem.
"Who are you and how do you know who I am?" Bruce grunts, stepping closer to Danny in an attempt to be intimidating. And it would have been if Danny hadn't just watched the man breakdown ugly crying not even thirty minutes ago.
Rolling his eyes, Danny leaned back in his chair and huffed, "I told you this already. My name's Danny. I'm here to keep you from killing yourself. And it's pretty obvious who you are if you just think about it." Because it was obvious. Once Tim pointed it out to him, that is.
He wasn't about to just tell Batman that though, Tim didn't deserve to have the man breathing down his neck just for being smart enough to figure it out.
Before Bruce could respond, Danny's phone rang once, twice, then stopped. Glancing at the clock, Danny found it was only six. This meant, it was either Sam texting him to figure out where he was (which wasn't likely, since he usually disappeared in the mornings) or it was Tim.
Grabbing his phone, Danny unlocked it and was met with a message from Tim.
TIM: thanks for listening to me.
Before Danny could send a response, another text came through.
TIM: when did you want to meet up and discuss a plan? DANNY: tomorrow, after you get some sleep. TIM: I did! I took a nap! DANNY: not a long one. TIM: I'm not tired though! DANNY: Then pretend to sleep or something, I don't care. Could you just make sure you sleep before I text you tomorrow? please, kid? TIM: whatever. you're not even that much older than me, you know that right? Danny: sure kid.
"Who is that?" Bruce suddenly asks, making Danny glance up at him.
Shit, uh... "The kid I'm babysitting later."
You know what? That works. And it's technically true.
Bruce just hummed, allowing Danny to turn back to his phone.
TIM: I'm thirteen! DANNY: Yeah? Well, I'm seventeen, almost eighteen. Anyone under the age of fifteen is a literal baby. which makes you? that's right. a child. and what do children need? Sleep. They need sleep, Tim. TIM: I'm not a child! and if you've forgotten; I still have all the evidence proving that you're Robin. I'm petty enough to release it. DANNY: Go ahead. If it'll make you sleep at night.
Tim left him on read after not responding for a few minutes. Bruce had wandered over to his desk to work on something, probably Danny's background check.
Sighing, Danny sent a text to Sam letting her know he'd be busy for the rest of the morning and to let Tucker know. Once that was done, he shoved his phone into his pocket and stood up. Bruce glanced at him for a moment before going back to what he was doing, leaving Danny to look around the office.
Pictures were hanging on the wall, books covering the shelves, and random objects covering everything else. Basically, Bruce's office was filled with all sorts of things. Things that could give Danny an idea of who Bruce was as a person. Something he was going to need to know if he planned to stick around and help him. which he was. because he'd promised Tim that he would.
Reaching out, Danny picked up one of the photos and examined it. It was Bruce, Alfred, and some boy Danny didn't recognize, though they looked eerily like him. They could even pass as his clone if you squinted.
"Hey, Bruce," Danny started, "Who's this?"

Ric(hard) Fenton; Part 1
(Once again slightly inspired by @saltymarshmall0w 's prompt.)
Read on ao3.
Masterpost. Next.
âB, didnât you promise us as youâd tell if there was a possibility of another secret child?â Tim asks as he stares at the black haired boy, who looks like he had been to hell and back to get here, with blue eyes â because of course, they are blue â in front of the Manorâs door.Â
He canât help but feel unnerved by the way the boy evaded their security measures and how he hasnât said a single word since Tim opened the door even when he can see the boyâs hands tremble.
âYes?â Bruce's voice floats from further in the Manor, his barely audible gaunt drawing near.
âThen who the hell is this?â he asks just as the man turns the corner. He freezes at the sight of the kid, literally blue screening as he takes him in.Â
âActually heâs mine,â a too chipper voice announces and Tim nearly jumps out of skin as he turns to Dick.
The young man must see both Tim and Bruce doing the mental calculations in their heads because he interrupts before they can draw the wrong conclusions.
âIf Bruce can go around adopting children, I can do the same.â Then he turns to the boy. âYou can come in, Danny.âÂ
Tim is eerily reminded of a wary, frightened cat as the boy â Danny moves inside. His steps are too silent for a mere civilian.Â
Bruce and Tim share a look and Tim knows that they are both asking themselves when Dick met the boy and why he never mentioned him with how familiar he acts around him as he easily tucks him into his side.Â
Although neither of them wants to accept it, Dick has changed since the one year where he disappeared without a trace. Heâd told them that he was shot leading to him to lose his memories and that he only retained his memories a few days before he came back, but Tim always had a feeling the older man was not telling the whole truth, hiding it behind an easy-going smile. He didnât speak a single word about what happened during that year, claiming he didnât remember much of it ever since his memories returned.
Not only that, but it had become even rarer than before that any of them would meet Dick at the manor (even Jason was at the Manor more often) â and when he was present he was always studying them with an intense stare as if he was searching for something in their expressions.
âDick,â Bruce starts but the man waves him off.
âLater,â he says. âI need to see if I have any fresh clothes for Danny.â
Dick pulls the boy away and they head up the stairs. Tim gives it a minute before he follows, nodding at Bruce, who does the same. He hears them stop in the hallway and he pauses in his steps.
âWhatâs going on?â Tim hears the man's question and he sneaks closer when he canât hear the boyâs response. He subtly uses his phoneâs camera to peek around the corner.Â
âWhat about Mom and Dad?â Dick asks in a hushed whisper and Tim knits his eyebrows together â confused about who his brother is talking about.
Danny winces with a pained expression.
âThe GIW got them in custody for affiliating with and aiding an ectoplasmic entity,â he explains. âYou are my only chance.â
âJazz, Sam, Tucker?â Dick almost seems desperate and when the boy just shakes his head after each name, he runs a hand through his hair and curses.Â
âAnd you are sure we canât go to them?â
Tim canât help but ask himself who they are talking about that Dickâs voice is so full of disdain. Danny vehemently shakes his head, eyes squeezed together like he is remembering something painful and when he speaks his voice is shaky.
âI donât know what to do, Ric,â he says, clutching the top of his shirt like his heart is hurting and Timâs eyebrows climb to the top of his hairline at the unusual nickname. âI canât- I canât do this aloneâŚâÂ
âFuck.â Dick takes a deep breath as he hugs Danny. âOkay. Yes, of course Iâm coming with you, baby ghost. Just let me grab my things and then weâll go on our way.âÂ
âYou will not go anywhere.âÂ
Bruce steps in Dickâs path before Tim can stop him and he narrows his eyes at the pair. Danny flinches away from the man and Dick steps protectively in front of the boy.
Tim knows Bruce and Dick had their rough patches in the past but never like this. Never had Dick looked at Bruce like he was a threat.Â
âIâm not in the mood, B,â Dick warns sharply.Â
âAnd Iâm not about to let you go off with someone that I havenât vetted.â
Dick lets out a bitter huff of a laugh.
âOf course thatâs the only thing you would focus on.â His voice is cold. âYouâll bulldoze your way through, and prod and condemn, not caring if you hurt someone innocent in the process as long as you can justify your actions. I donât even know why Iâm surprised at this point. Itâs what happened to Jason after all.â
Bruce reels back like heâs been punched.Â
âNow if that is all, I have to go save the people who actually treat me like family.â
This time nobody stops Dick as he leaves the house, Danny in tow.Â
âMaster Bruce, Master Tim,â Alfredâs voice tears Tim out of his trance and startles Bruce who froze in his spot. âWhere is Master Dick?â
Dick trembles with barely suppressed fury as he leads Danny to his car.
He wanted to believe that Bruce was better â that he wouldnât have led the Justice League on a hunt after a child, but the longer he is back in Gotham as Richard Grayson â the longer he is around who were supposed to be his âactualâ family, the more he grows unsure about that fact. There is no easy trust between them â not the steadfast determination that no matter what happens, theyâll take his side. Not like the Fentons have. (Itâs been barely 2 months and he misses being Ric Fenton â misses being Jack and Maddieâs son and Jazz and Dannyâs older brother.)
Bruce has contingency plans about them for fuckâs sake. And while he understands that there might be situations where they would be on other sides â the time where he and the Teen Titans had to fight their mind controlled mentors comes to mind â itâs a scary thought. For the first time since ages â since Bruce had taken Robin away from him â he feels like he is on his own.Â
Back then he had turned to Clark â to Superman. He was the one who gave him the name Nightwing but Dick is plagued by the nightmares he witnessed Danny having. He doesnât think he can look at his uncle ever the same again.Â
At the same time, he doesnât know if Danny and him can do this alone. He glances at the boy as he drives out the gates to the manor â he looks incredibly drained. Heâs even paler than usual and thereâs a sheen of sweat over his whole body as he leans back in his seat, breaths shallow.Â
As he drives through the streets of the Bowery a sudden thought comes to his mind. He tears the steering wheel around, tearing Danny out of his doze. He blinks at Dick, eyebrows knitted together when he sees that they are still in Gotham.
âWhere are we going?â he asks and Dick gives him a smile that is all teeth.
âJust a little pit stop.â
Jason and Dick donât talk much â or to be more precise they donât talk about the important stuff. Not about the â âI broke down when I heard about your death and I blame myself for not being thereâ or âI was sure you hated me and you were glad I was goneâ. They barge into each other's apartments, spar or get drunk together and cling to each other when they are sure the other isnât awake to witness it. Itâs not quite healthy â but itâs something better than when Jason was still Robin.
So when the door to one of his safe houses gets slammed open, Jason isnât concerned. He knows Dick had been off the past few weeks and had been expecting his visit for quite a while now.Â
The look in Dickâs eyes is different this time around though. Itâs not quite the mix of depression coupled with anger he normally expects â itâs something stronger â righteous fury.
âI need your help,â Dick demands before Jason can question whatâs going on.
Jason knits his eyebrows together.Â
âWhat about Bruce?â
Thereâs a dark look in the manâs eyes for a moment before it passes and thatâs the moment Jason realizes that this something more serious than the usual spats he normally has with B.Â
âYou are the only one I can trust with this.â
He spins around on his heels and is out of the safe house before Jason can blink. Getting a bit impatient and angry about Dick not getting straight to the point and still expecting him to follow â Jason storms out. What he doesnât expect is the passed out half-dead kid in the passenger seat. A tinge of green enters his vision as he glares at Dick.
âWhat the hell is going on?â
The story Dick tells as they speed on the highway leaves Jason reeling. If the manâs tone wasnât carefully monotone as he spoke about Ghosts and an entire town being shifted to a different dimension, Jason would have already declared that Dick finally snapped. He wants to question why he lied to the rest about losing his memories about the year he went missing, but the desperate look he sends him and the way his hands shake on the steering wheel hold him back. Itâs only the boyâs quiet snores that have Jasonâs volume not climbing above a hiss.
âAre you sure this all happened? That this is real?â
âI was there, Jay,â Dickâs tone leaves no arguments. âI almost watched Danny die, again â fighting Pariah Dark. I would have never forgiven myself if another of my brothersâŚâ He gulps and shakes his head. âI was there this time. I should have made a difference and once again I was helplessâ. He slams a fist against the radio, cursing when it turns on, blaring loud music.Â
He quickly turns the volume down and both of them wait with bated breath as Danny stirs in his seat, before he goes limp again. Dick lets out a deep sigh.
âHow do you think I felt once I realized the situation?â Dick questions. âI was in the middle of nowhere with no recollection of who I was. If the Fentons hadnât found me-â He shakes his head. âNext I know Iâm watching a kid fight fucking Ghosts twice his side and getting thrown around like a ragdoll like itâs a normal Tuesday. That shouldnât happen Jay, it just shouldnât.â
Jason stays silent.
âAnd worst of all, I still knew how to fight,â Dick barrels on. âBut no matter how much I tried to help Danny and teach him, it was useless because it wasnât humans or even metas he was up against. How could my moves counter beings that can fly and go intangible and invisible at will?â
Jason still canât fathom why Dick hid this from them all â but he knows enough to understand why he needs his help.Â
âSo whatâs the plan?â
Dick shoots him a relieved smile.
âWe still have 12 hours of driving ahead of us,â Dick glances at Danny. âIâm reckoning heâs gonna be out cold for at least half of it if not more. I need you to switch with me after half of the drive so I can get a power nap in, then Iâll take over again.â
âNot trusting me with the car?â Jason teases.
âShow me your drivers license and maybe Iâll reconsider.â
They start bickering, and for a moment Jason can convince himself that this is a normal road trip.
Jasonâs at the wheel when the boy wakes up. Dick is out cold and despite the manâs protests Jason can drive normally if he wants to. Thereâs no reason the man has to over exhaust himself.
They had tossed their phones once they crossed the border to Illinois and Dick had withdrawn a couple of thousand bucks. Jason had questioned why they hadnât done sooner if they wanted to keep Bruce off their trail, but the man told him heâs not the one he is worried about. Considering what Dick told him about the elusive GIW, Jason can harbor a guess on who he is talking about. Itâs after that, that Jason wrangled him into another nap â Dick was in no condition to drive any further.Â
âRic?â Danny questions sleepily as he sits up and Jason keeps an eye on him out of the corner of his eyes.
âHeâs asleep,â Jason answers and itâs only because heâs used to Damian that he blocks the instinctual kick as the boy realizes heâs not alone.Â
âI can see that Dick kept you sharpâ Jason huffs out a laugh. âIâm Jason, in case he didnât mention me.â
Danny blinks at him and shifts so he is sitting cross legged. He knits his eyebrows together, clearly thinking.
âYou were the pit stop?â he questions.
âApparently.â Jason shrugs. âGreat work, by the way. Itâs been a while since Iâve seen Dick this pissed.â
The boy frowns, gnawing at his lips as he stares out the window.
âYouâve died too, haven't you?â
Jason suppresses his initial reaction to snap at the boy. Instead he grits his teeth as he stares straight ahead, the road blurring together.Â
âAnd?â
âRic shouldnât have let you come.â
He grips the steering wheel until his knuckles are deadly white, green hazing his vision.Â
âTheyâll cut you open too.â
It takes the wind out of his anger and he lets out a curse. The brakes screech as he stops at the side of the road, nearly catapulting them forward with the force of it. Jason finally turns to look at Danny properly. The boy peels down his t-shirt to reveal a gnarly, ugly red Y-shaped scar as he gulps.
âRic doesnât know,â he says as he releases the hem of his shirt, covering the scar once more. âI havenât told him.â
âThen why me?â Jasonâs voice rises without his consent.
âBecause youâll get it,â the boy murmurs. âHow it feels to die.â
The boy leans back, turning away from Jason to look at the corn field.
âHow it haunts you.â
Jason wants to puke and he lets his forehead fall onto the steering wheel.
âFuck,â he says emotionally and the boy laughs â broken and hysterical. Jason doesnât comment on the tears streaming down Dannyâs face.
Jason starts up the car again, leading the car back on the road.
âNext time Dick asks for my help, Iâll send him to hell.â
Jason hides a smile when the boy snorts at that.Â
Dick comes to himself as they are about to cross the border into Amity Park. Jason and Danny are quietly talking and he wipes away a little bit of drool as he sits up. Itâs dark outside and Danny directs Jason as they enter the city. He leans forward as he enters the conversation.
âYouâll think the GIWâs detectors will sense us?â
Danny glances at Jason, before he turns his attention to Dick.
âWe should be fine for a few hours at least as long as I donât have to turn ghost,â he says. âHalf of the town is liminal at this point so you and Jason shouldnât raise any alarms either. They had too many false alarms in the months since you left.â
Jason looks at Dick strangely once they park where they can hide for the night.
âSince when did you have contact with Lazarus Pits?â
âNever,â Dick retorts. âBut living above a portal to the Infinite Realms for a year will do the trick.â
Jason's face scrunches up.
âWho the hell builds a portal in their own basement?âÂ
Both Dick and Danny snort.Â
âGotta love Mom and Dad,â the boy says as Dick nods in agreement. âOnly they are insane enough.â
Dick makes a face.
âI could do without reanimated meatloaf for the rest of my life though.â
âDonât remind me,â Danny shudders.
Jason stares at them in bafflement.Â
âYou do know how crazy that sounds?â
âCrazier than Ghosts?â Danny questions with a smirk and Jason pinches the bridge of his nose, shaking his head
âTo give it to Mom and Dad they did stop storing samples in the fridge after we lectured them about it,â Dick adds. At Jason's aghast face he just shrugs. âThey are passionate about their work.âÂ
âInsane, absolutely insane,â the man mutters and Dick suppresses a smile.
It had taken him a bit to get used to the Fenton's and their flavor of insanity and chaos. At first he had been worried about them being neglectful at best, but it turns out that they just needed someone to remind them when they got into âhyperfixationâ mode. He and Jazz had to stage an intervention and both Maddie and Jack were embarrassed once they realized they took it too far. Dick doesnât know who is worse â them or Tim when heâs awake for more than three days.Â
He was very relieved when his initial hunch didnât turn out to be true after Danny revealed himself as Phantom to his parents. They did a whole 180 on their research, focusing on learning about the intricacies of the Infinite Realms, their culture and even politics instead â resigning from their high positions in the GIW. Thatâs when the trouble really started.Â
Dick hadnât lied about getting amnesia after he was shot and it was also true that his memories had only returned â thanks to Frostbite â two months ago. But the only reason he went back to Gotham had been to get Danny help (the longer they waited the worse the situation with the GIW became) â to find out if the Justice League could be trusted. Once he heard what happened with Freakshow and the Reality Gauntlet (and had the memories to properly realize what that meant) he had been horrified. He had given himself a deadline to â if need be, confront the Justice League by the time Dannyâs birthday came around and find out the truth. (He had desperately hoped that this was all a misunderstanding, but Bruceâs words still taste bitter on his tongue.)
Dick knows bringing Jason along was a risk â considering Dannyâs theory that the Lazarus Pit were corrupted ectoplasm, but they need the manpower to get through the GIWâs defenses. Even if heâs scared shitless about what theyâll do to Jason when they find out just how liminal he is. He knows this is a death mission. But it doesnât have to be for Jason.
âWe need to establish some ground rules,â Dick says reluctantly and Jason narrows his eyes at the wording.
âIf we get captured, I want you to save yourself, Jason.â Jason scoffs and Dick raises a hand, silencing his retort before it can come. âIâm the sole reason you got involved in the first place. Me and Danny may be willing to die for them, but Iâm not letting you sacrifice yourself for something that isnât even your problem to deal with.â
âIf you think Iâm gonna agree to those, you are more than stupid than I thought Dick,â Jasonâs voice is scathing. âIt started being my problem when you came to me for help and we drove for 12 straight hours to get there. If you say those people are your family â then they are mine as well.â
His lips perk into a smirk.
âBesides, I want to meet the people that might be even more batshit insane than B and got you to call them Mom and Dad.â
Dick flushes slightly â the Fentonâs had always insisted on him calling them Mom and Dad and he doesnât know when the titles became genuine. Even with his memories restored, Ric Fenton feels more alive â more loved â than Richard Grayson ever did.Â
Danny just shrugs as he leans back, arms crossed behind his neck and feet rested on top of the glove box.Â
âI guess I have not only two sisters but two older brothers now,â he adds cheekily.Â
âBrat.âÂ
Jason playfully shoves Danny and Dick gapes at the fond tone in his voice.Â
âHow?â he stammers â they should barely know each other. âWhen?â
Jason tucks Danny into his side, angle a bit awkward, but grinning as he ruffles his hair.
âYou missed a lot, sleeping beauty,â Jason jests and Dick groans.
âI was only asleep for 1 hour!â he bemoans.Â
âTwo,â Danny corrects and Dick glares at him, raising a finger.
âDonât you two dare gang up on me!â
âThis is sweet revenge for when you and Jazz teamed up against me,â Danny grins.
âWe were literally trying to help you!â Dick complains, shoving Dannyâs face away as the boy cackles, Jason watching on with amusement.
Dick might have to leave Ric Fenton behind for good now that his two worlds have collided, but maybe he can still be Richard âDickâ Grayson-Fenton instead. Â

I love your writing so much but I'm here with a crack idea just imagine deage Dan is Klarion.
Dan was able to find out who he is outside of Danny then he was able to change his name Klarion Jackson Fenton/Nightingale he is still a little villain boy also now a mom boy.
Ghost King Danny is his mom young justice was so confused when Klarion you're the best gifts get your mom after not talking to him for a while to also begging them to pretend to be his friend . Justice League dark is panicking in the background about the electric being that just shows up.
Danny in full ghost king attire standing there with a plate of cookies ready to meet his son's new friends.
Thanks so much! I am glad you enjoy my writing!
Also thanks because I absolutely love this Idea/Prompt! Sooooo please enjoy this piece inspired by it! Also I haven't consumed a lot of DC material lately so i am basing this all on my memories. In other words.... I went with Tim's little team here.
Hope that's okay and that this won't disappoint.
-------------------
Dan, who was going by Klarion for some years now, had a massive problem. It was the huge kind of problem build on small bubbles of lies that then turned into this one giant bubble that was about to pop just because of one little question asked by his mom when his sister decided to throw him under the bus to deflect from herself and the fact that she was dating a demon. Don't get him wrong he still loves her, but man did he want to strangle Danielle right now.
"So Klarion, Ellie is right. When will I get to meet your friends you told me so much about?"
It was such an innocent question from his mom. And while his moms titles don't scare him, cause at some point in time they could have been his too, the happy dopey smile like nothing was wrong in the dimensions with little expectations directed at him was the scariest thing his mom could ever direct at him when he had asked THAT question.
So now Klarion was in need of a quick solution. When his mom had asked he had mumbled out a quick: "Next week maybe. We won't be busy with hero stuff then." He had started to form a plan. First of all, he needed to remember what all he had told his mom about his new and redeemed life on Earth 43 he had build for himself with the name Klarion Jackson Fenton-Nightingale.
Which fuck. There was a lot he had told his mom just so he wouldn't worry.
Cause now he also remembers that whenever he had gone out to cause some chaos he had made it seem to his mom like he was going out to bond with his new friend or help them with their hero duty. Well, in a way maybe his chaos causing could be seen as bonding. The ghostly kind, that is. And as for helping with the hero duty... he did give them work, something to do with their hero status. Anyway Klarion tried to remember all possible names he had dropped. Shit why did he also mention to his mom that he was working with heroes to make her proud? He should have name dropped some villains instead but nearly all of them were adults. He knew his mom would have frowned if he had only adult friends and no one around his age.
He was pacing his room in their castle. He need a plan, a good one at that. He knows he name dropped Robin, now Red Robin, Superboy and Impulse on a whim once. Superboy more so cause his mom had been interested in the Alien Heros of the Earth of the dimension he was partially living on now. He had mentioned Robin for the joke of knowing that there is a Dinner in an other Dimension with the same name. And because his Grandfather didn't like the Flash-clan which meant his mom didn't like them too much because of their messing with timelines either, he had mentioned being friends with Impulse on pure spite because of a punishment one day and to see their reactions. So he had to get these three on board anyway, and because for the heck of it he would get Wonder Girl involved too. It was never bad to have a girl in a friends group.
Klarion stopped his pacing. Turning towards his demonic ghost cat companion, kind of what Cujo was to his mom now. "Teekl, I think I have a plan. I will convince these Idiots, that shouldn't be a huge problem. Most of them are normale little flesh sacks." Teekl and him stared for some time at each other and after a moment Klarion huffed turning away with crossed arms. "It's a good plan don't be so sceptical, they are heroes right? They will not refuse my request!"
Well maybe Klarion should have planned this a bit better.
The next day Red Robin blinked at the witch boy up from the ground in the living room of what looked like to be an normal apartment. He had just been in Gotham, working on a case and now he was here? Looking to the left he also noticed that Superboy (the older), Impulse and Wonder Girl were also with him. They all looked stunned he observed and partially disoriented. Additionally they hadn't heard from Klarion since the last time they had foiled his plans on raging chaos upon the earth, that had been weeks ago.
"Kla-"
"I have summoned you heroes here. For the moment it is fruitless to try to leave because of the magic barrier." Okay rude to be cut of but that explained why he suddenly wasn't where he remembered to be last anymore. It was now Superboy who opened his mouth first but before he could even make a sound Klarion decided to speak over them again. "I have presents."
Four young heroes collectively blinked, confused, stunned and weirded out. As the which boy before them waved over to wards a table filled with boxes and packages. "I come in peace today, to proof that I brought these are presents, filled with various goods from different dimensions that should be to the liking of you all. Technologie, accessories, snacks, weapons, as well as clothing styles."
Red Robin shared a glance with his friends, a silent communication but before he once again could say anything Impulse was already by the table going through the stuff. They could here his 'oh's and 'ah's, which inevitably made them curious and they wandered over too. Klarion was not acting hostile at all yet but Red Robin did not trust that so he kept the which boy in clear view the entire time.
"Rob! You gotta see this! That actual futuristic Tech!"
"Look at these snacks."
"These accessories don't look to bad..."
His eye twitched when he noticed Klarion was sporting a smug look. Red Robin had to ask now, because this was not normal for the other. "Okay usually you would have started some big shot chaos plan by now. I don't buy this peace offering act and your way to formal talking. So what is going on?"
The other three, thankfully in Red Robins opinion, finally looked away from the tempting gifts and also turned their attention fully on Klarion. Who's smug smile falter as he let out a sigh and stared at them with what they could only describe as a frustrated look.
"My mom is planning to visit me."
"And?" Impulse asked between munching on three different bags of chips that where on the table.
"And he believes I am friends with you idiots."
They stared slack jawed. Impulse was pinching himself like he couldn't believe what they had just heard. Did one of their Villains, just informed them that their mom believes they were friends? Red Robin was starting to think he might be in a sleep deprived Hallucination.
"Why would she?" Wonder Girl questioned next to which Klarion glared at her with fire in his eyes.
"First of, my mom uses the pronouns he/Him. Be rude to my mom and I will find a way to make your life a permanent hell on earth." Wonder Girl blinked lifting her hands as in a sign of peace. "Second, my mom is under the believe that i work with heroes not against them. I do not have the heart to disappoint him after everything that happened in the past. So I embellished the truth a little."
"A little?" Superboy retorted sarcastically, to which they caught a light blush dusting the which boy's cheeks.
"Look my sister threw me under the bus and my mom wants to meet my friends now! So I need you idiots to play nice with me for when he visits!"
"And we will do that because?" Red Robin crossed his arms, watching their villain sceptically still not really buying this entire act. This was to strange of an behaviour change. Something was up, and he was going to get behind it.
Klarion on the other hand was starting to panic internally. His plan was not as he had hoped. The presents he had specifically gotten from other dimensions with what he believed was their interests did not work to make them simply accept his request. This was the last time he would listen to old man Vlad on how to bribe humans, he wasted his entire week on getting all that stuff. His mom was going to show up soon enough he need to have them act as his friends by then so he could remove the magic barrier. Or else his mom would notices he faked everything.
They left him no choice. He would have to throw his pride away for the sole reason to not disappoint his mom.
All four Young Justice Heroes blinked as Klarion suddenly threw himself on the ground before them into a pleading position.
"Please! I beg you, just for the time my mom is here. Please act like my friends!"
"I didn't think Klarion was a mama's boy...." Impulse whispered to the rest of them in pure disbelief as they stared stunned at the kneeling witch boy.
Cut to the heroes that noticed their teens were missing.....
"Where is he?" Batman growled at the Constantine who was sighing tiredly.
"Look mate, the way you and the other Spandex wearing friends explained it, made it sound like they got summoned by a being of the Infinit Realms." The blond man sighed lighting another cigarette eying the four heroes, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Flash. Zatanna was behind him pouring over a book about the realms and trying to find a tracking spell to trace it back and to where they could have been summoned.
"Don't you have something like a tracker on your boy?" Batman only growled something under his breath to which the Brite couldn't help to arch and eyebrow. Constantine was going to say something sarcasting as Deadman suddenly appeared a panicked look on him. "The Ghost King has chosen to come to our dimension."
"Say bloody what now?" All attention that had been on the heroes and their problem of missing teenage heroes turned now to Deadman and the news he brought with him. "The ghost, shades and spirits talked, for the king has decided to visit our Dimension. They are in an uproar, no one knows of why our King is on his way."
"Bloody fucking hell!" Constantine cursed. "We are fucking screwed! Isn't that guy a fucking tyrannical eldrich war maniac?!"
Deadman nodded solemnly and Constantine uttered another hearty and colourful 'fuck'. While the heroes present exchanged worried glances, not only were their kids missing but now a, by the sounds of it, highly dangerous being decided to appear in their dimension? Batman couldn't help but think that there had to be a connection to the missing teens and this.
Meanwhile in the Infinite Realms the Ghost King Castle...
Danny smoothed out his fur trimmed cape and adjusted his crown so it was floating nicely and evenly on his head. Today was the day he would get to meet his sons friends. He needed to make a good first impression. That was why he had chosen to take on his Ghost King form for this. With the wave of his hand he made an ice mirror appear before him, checking how he was looking once again. Once satisfied he nodded to himself looking over towards Fright Knight who was holding the plate of cookies he had baked himself. It was the fifth batch, and the only one that didn't turn out burned. He had needed Jazz help for this one to turn out well. It was only proper if he brought some cookies for the kids. Also he would have loved to bring his families fudge but... the last time he had tried making them had turned into a disaster.
"Thanks Frighty. Do you think Klarion's friends will like these? Wait don't answer! If they don't like them I will just get something else to thank them for taking care of my boy." Danny rambled on as he glanced at the plate of cookies in his hands. Why was he so nervous? He was just going to get to meet his little boy's friends. Sure his boy had dropped some stories about them and his adventures with them here and there. But hearing stories and meeting the kids were two different things.
Shaking his head Danny put on his best smile as he summoned a portal to Klarions apartment in the 43th Dimension of Earth. It was time to visit his boy in the place he had made his second home and thank the people that looked after his kid.

Moments I can see happens in Deadtiredâs life: Before they dated
Itâs a bit more descriptive from the previous one idk why
âââââ
Those neon green eyes which were usually cheerful and bright, now held inexplicable darkness. Phantomâs usual easy-going character was nowhere to be seen. Instead, a man who reminded Tim of an icy jagged mountain peak, cold, sharp and unfathomable, stood in his place.
âYou keep provoking me again and again⌠Hey, Tim, I know Iâm usually too lazy to bother with things but iâm still a man.â
Perhaps because Phantom usually either had a lazy or cheerful smile on his face, which made him look easy to get along with, Tim only found out now that when Phantom puts away the smile on his face and stared at Tim expressionlessly, the hair-raising feeling that made him tense immediately prevailed.
The slightly heavier breath swept across his cheek and neck, and lowered, raspy voice was filled with intimidation. The young CEO who always had plans and schemes in his head was put in a rare position where his mind was coming in blank and stood frozen against the wall, even holding his breath unconsciously due to nervousness.
Confident azure blue eyes no longer held the daringness it had before, but was replaced by a cute and docile look, reminding others of a cute deer. Phantom seemed to be quite satisfied with the current Tim, and despite being expressionless still, Phantom returned to his previously friendly demeanour. The previously ice melted to show warmth again.
âDonât challenge my patience with yourself again, okay?â
ââŚâŚYeah.â
Completely suppressed by the other partyâs momentum, Tim subconsciously nodded, only breathing a sigh of relief once Phantom phased out of the room.
âWhatâs up with him?â
Timâs back that was still pressed up against the wall, gradually slid down until he reached the carpeted floor due to his weak legs. He covered his face with his hands, but through the gaps between his fingers and his exposed ears, itâs still obvious that his face was bright red.
âHe usually acts so silly and dumb... Why is he being handsome all of the suddenâŚâ
Meanwhile, as the target of Timâs criticisms, Danny just casually nodded and greeted the other members of the Wayne family whenever he came across them. Except for noticing the fact that Phantomâs ears were slightly green, no one would have ever thought what this ghost had done before.
Danny, who maxed out his acting talent stat for a short moment, returned to the guest room he was staying in for now and closed the door. Then he instantly squatted down and suddenly covered his face with his hands, his whole body exuding the feeling of, âitâs over, itâs over,ââthe bats are going to kill me,ââiâm so embarrassed,ââplease let me permanently die now.â
âHoly shit. I actually said that??? Ancients, what gave me the guts to say that??? Fuck. Does Tim hate me now??? I think I just unconsciously used my aura as king⌠No, no, no, I should go find Clockwork and convince him to let me travel to the past so I can punch myself!!!â
The coward who had completely entered self-destructive mode had already started blabbing nonsensical things, but just when his shame was starting to overwhelm him, the expression of Tim, who had pinned against the wall by him before, began to unconsciously emerge from his mind.
Blue eyes, widened by shock, looked like a calm lake that suddenly had stones thrown into it under a clear sky. His slightly trembling lashes made him appear fragile, and it made Danny feel like a small, soft animalâs fur was brushing itself against his heart. His pale lips were reddened by how much he was pressing them tightly, subconsciously catching Dannyâs attention.
And... remembering the heat from the feeling of his ear being gently bitten by Tim earlier, which hadn't completely dissipated yet.
âAhhh, you can't escape, Danny.
ââJust admit it, Tim.
The fingers covering their faces almost sunk into their skin, but this action didn't help reduce the blush on their faces. Although they were in two completely different places, Tim and Danny surprisingly had the same actions, both covered their reddened cheeks with their hands, squatted on the ground and tried to curl up.
ââYou've fallen for him! (x2)

I got distracted, BUT I REMEMBERED!
The Dr.'s Fenton? Would ABSOLUTELY fight a child.
Specifically, Hatsume Mei. Future CEO of Hatsume Industries! And ENGINEERING RIVAL of their's! They may be new to this whole "support industy" business, but they are SEASONED weaponry makers! And that brilliant little upstart is good! Audacious! A THREAT!!!
COME GET SOME!!! D:<
See, they needed to Move. Things were getting a bit... spicy. They may have made so unfortunate choices, back before they knew the truth about their Son and Ghosts in general.
Ignorance, bigotry, and academic bias are curses in their house for a REASON, after all. They never thought... after all the DECADES of facing it themselves...
Well...
Needless to say, they were, are, and will always BE horrified by how they acted. There may have be a whole host of reasons behind WHY they acted that way. But those WHYs aren't good enough. They should have been better. Done better. They don't offer any excuses, but but they can give an explanation, if it's wanted.
And, together, as a family, they got through Maddie n Jack's horrifying mistakes.
God they don't deserve those kids. Love them to pieces. The things they don't warn ya about parenthood, you know? The mistakes you might make. You think you're ready. Think everything's alright. Then your life's work KILLS your son and brings him back.
And you don't notice.
......what sort of parents DONT NOTICE?
They still have nightmares. Feel sick. God, if they were working in ANY other field. With ANY other materials! If it wasn't SPECIFICALLY ectoplasm? He... he wouldn't have come back. Oh god.
........
So.... so, yeah.
They're working on some things! As a family! Seeing a therapist from the Zone. Lovely... Them? They're a tree person. Neither Jack or Maddie is quite certain what gender pronouns, if ANY, they are supposed to use. They've been defaulting to They/Them just to be safe. Still! Alien therapist! Neat!
But, of COURSE. The BABIES in White throw a FIT. "Wah, wah, wah you've been compromised blah blah blah" oh PLEASE! Just because they've had a little personal growth! And stopped shooting at Phantom in public! And in general! You shoot ONE little Goverment agent for trying to shoot your baby and suddenly YOUR the bad guy!
He didn't even die!
So, yeah, BIT spicy.
Honestly? Feels like a long time coming. They were never very popular. This ultimately just feels like the ends of a road that began in college. Them, the two "crazies" with their backs to the wall, as the government closes in, trying to tear them down for knowing the TRUTH and refusing to shut up about it. Their reputations so deep in the mud, they're tasting bedrock.
At least they are together.
And thank god they've had years to plan for the inevitable.
So? They have the kids grab their go bags and head off too stay with Danny's new celebrity friend from another dimension, Mr Wayne. Nice man, little dim, but since he's willing to open his home to the kids in case of emergency? Perfect. And frankly, as long as Mr. Pennyworth is there, everything will be fine.
Besides! Lil Damian is a very respectful and responsible young man. Tim and Danny may get up to mischief, but they can trust the youngest to put his foot down.
THEM on the other hand?
Not so lucky. THEY have to stay with the house. It's not exactky like they can move the portal after all, it's built in. And this is where the kids grew up! Where Jack and her scrimped and saved, lived out of cars and off nickle noodles, to afford! This is their HOME! And no jack booted THUG is going to take that.
So the kids go first. They go to the command center. Jack takes pot shots while she fires up... THAT machine. The one they wired into the house itself, right along with the Ectoplasmic Shielding. It was all theoretical, once. But not anymore.
Now they have The Zone.
It's been collecting energy runoff from the open gate ever since it opened. Siphoning them into the sub-basment mega batteries. Enough to run two-thirds the planet for the next half a millennia. If only the damn patent office would LET THEM PATENT THEIR WORK-!
But that doesn't matter anymore. No, what matters is checking how full the battery banks are. Decently. It HAS been a while since they've done a controlled drain. Good, that means they have more then enough.
So, with no kids to witness things getting nasty? She pulls out her keys and unlocks the parental commands, flips the the shields to "strobe-kill". Let's see you crowd us NOW fuckers. With Jack freed up to help aim the house? They set to work.
It's... not EXACTLY an exact science, as much as they'd prefer it to be. More of a controlled jump. Set preferences, power jump, hop sideways an unknown distance. Land. Look around.
Is it what you want?
Habitable?
A zombie apocalypse?
Jump again. And again. And again. Until the battery runs out. Then sit... or float...or drift, there, until the batteries refill. You have to be mindful, of course, that you don't lose Shield coverage. Because it keeps the House air tight and together. If you jump and immediately lose power to the shields because you misjudged the energy left in the batteries?
Better HOPE you land somewhere with a breathable atmosphere and no zombies!
And Fentons don't rely on HOPE! They rely on good ol firepower and hutzpa!
Also advanced ectoplasmic scientific engineering! But that was a given.
It... takes a while. They run out of canned peaches. Have to stop TWICE to help cure a zombie plague, since they are the only ones with a still working lab. They were actually sort of joking with the kids about the zombies. Oof. Good thing Ectoplasm eats EVERYTHING. One specialized ecto shot and that disease is TOAST.
Granted, the surviors are all limnal now. But they don't seem to care in the slightest.
Then there was the whole "oop! Planet's gone." Couple of worlds. The one with the crabs. The ocean one. The ice age. The robots. The cartoon horses. The inappropriately dressed high-schoolers with weapons fighting God. The boring one. The one with ninjas...
I mean, they are just NOT having any LUCK!
Okay, next moderately stable world, they are doing a groceries run! A Man can not live off freeze dried meals forever! Well, you CAN. But it's making Jack sad, and frankly that's a war crime. Plus she's run out of tea! AND coffee! A life of no caffeine? She can't endure that.
She's started to eye her son's God awful energy abominations in a can, for God sake! Desperate time's and all that...
Zyeyooom!
Thunk!
Which? Is how? The ENTIRE class of 1-H? Turns to stare in ABSOLUTE HORROR at the cackling, head thrown back, hands clawed, mad scientist "it's alive! It's aliiiiiiive" type insanity that is Hatsume Mei and her "this green goo I found from some guys Quirk" powered teleport anchor.
It MADE A HOUSE.
On SCHOOL FUCKING GROUNDS. An ENTIRE house! Is... is that a blimp? That's English right? What's it say?! What the FUCK is that sh- OH MY GOD ARE THOSE PEOPLE!? MEI!!!!!
So begins... the Fentons Beef With A Childâ˘.
Because! Mei will forever more claim! That SHE brought them to this universe with HER magnificent machine! But Maddie and Jack? At first, trying to be nice about it, helpfully point out, actually? No. THEIR house can and does reality jump. THEY brought themselves.
Mei ignores them.
Crows about her magnificent machine. Scoffs about them thinks they haspd anything to do with it.
Oh... oh it is ON, you tiny pink haired little shit!
Does the Japanese Government want to take control of the situation? Of course they do. They want these scientists and they want that house. Local Nedzu's say? "It's nice to want things" :) *sips tea mockingly*
They landed on HIS school's grounds. Finders keepers!
You may say "threat to national security" but HE says "free support gear for the students and security for the school"! Not to MENTION all this delightful FREE clean energy! They are a delightful couple. With a portal to the fabric between realities in their basement!
Not found of the laboratory, but that's a personal issue. The ZONE however? Oooohohohohoho~â
It? Would DRIVE THE HPSC and Japanese government BATSHIT INSANE that they can't get at the portal? That threats and stealth Heros and every other method? Just... hits a brick wall. A big ol "lol nope!" Meanwhile Nedzu and occasionally random teachers or students are popping in and out of this house they can get into?
Nedzu especially standing just on the other side of the shields going >:3 neener~ neener~ neener~ Ha ha! I could be mature about this but am CHOOSING NOT TO BE!

Imagine...
Tim Drake, who never really got to be a kid. Who grew up in a silent, empty house, surrounded by wealth but starved of love. Who spent his childhood chasing after heroes who didnât know his name, trying to prove he was worth being noticed. Who learned how to carry the world on his shoulders before he even hit puberty.
And then thereâs Danny Fenton, who had his childhood stolen. Who was fighting for his life at fourteen, forced to be a protector, a warrior, a king. Who watched his innocence slip through his fingers the moment he stepped into that portal. Who grew up with ghosts and death as his constant companions, when he should have been worrying about homework and movie nights.
And then they find each other.
They fall in love, sure. But more importantly, they fall into safety. Into gentleness. Into healing.
They help each other reclaim what was stolen.
Danny teaches Tim how to be a kid again. He drags him outside on rainy days, forcing him to stomp in puddles until heâs breathless with laughter. He buys bubbles and sidewalk chalk for no reason other than it makes Tim smile. He finds a beat-up second hand bike at a garage sale, and one night they ride through Gotham, whooping and hollering like kids without a care in the world.
And when Danny slips back into his own childhood wounds, Tim does the same for him. Tim holds Danny close when the ghostly nightmares creep inâthe memories of the portal accident, of almost dying, of feeling like he lost everything. He buys Danny silly little glow-in-the-dark stars and plasters them all over the ceiling because he remembers what itâs like to be afraid of the dark. When Danny starts to panic, Tim hums softly, the same way Danny does for him. And when Danny wakes up shaking, Tim just hands him a juice box and says, "Youâre safe. Youâre okay. Youâre home."
And when it all feels like too much, they remind each other that theyâre allowed to be small. Theyâre allowed to watch cartoons and build pillow forts. To throw popcorn at each other during movie marathons. To be silly. To be soft. To be boys instead of soldiers.
Because together, theyâre more than survivors. Theyâre two broken kids who were forced to grow up too fast, finally giving each other permission to slow down and heal. Finally learning how to be young again.

DPxDC Hogwarts AU [pt. 5]
He should have never got on that broom.
He shouldn't have tried, he shouldn't have done it inside the Drake manor, he shouldn't have chosen the day when his parents were hundreds of miles away.
He should have at least told Minky. Or Tiksy. Or any other house elf, he should have followed Danny's mother's advice and had an adult around, why is he so bloody stupid, he is such an idiot, he-
"Young Master!" Minky's voice comes from his right after a loud crack of apparation, and Tim almost chokes on another one of his jagged, broken sobs. Everything is blurry, and his eyes and cheeks are wet, and Tim really tries to wipe the tears away, but they just appear again, no doubt making him look as even more of a mess.
"My leg hurts," he tells in the direction of the blurry, brown and white blob that is supposed to be Minky if he could just stop crying for one moment. Then, he sobs again, holding his hands to just above his knee, "Get someone."
He doesn't specify who. Because, and Tim knows it, there's no one to get - his parents are far away, he remembers them mentioning Egypt or maybe Sudan, but Minky can't go that far. But Tim can't do this himself, and house elves can't help because the bone under his knee is bended the wrong way and it hurts, and Tim can hear his own, rushing pulse beat like a drum inside his head.
He is going to die like this. In the middle of Drake manor, on the floor of the empty ballroom. Because no one would come, no one would-
There's a crack in the air, louder than any apparation, that runs like an electric jolt through Tim's skin, and then a crashing bang of broken wood that rings through the whole manor. Tim snaps his head up as his heart skips a beat - no one can come into the manor, there are wards, a lot of them, he knows it.
His lungs hurt, and his leg still hurts, too, and he can't run, but there's someone else in his house, someone who broke through the protective wards. Tim's vision goes from just blurry to dark at the edges - he is breathing too fast, he needs to calm down and make as little noise as possible, because maybe it's some kind of robbers and they-
"Here, Young Master is being here!" He hears Minky's voice again, and he barely has time to feel hurt by her betrayal before there's a huge, looming dark figure in front of him.
Tim whimpers, trying to move away.
It only makes his leg explode in pain all over again, causing him to bite on his lip until there's a coppery taste on his tongue. But then, the figure gets down on one knee, and through all the tears and panic, Tim notices an emblem on the intruder's robes.
A big, golden 'M' with something written on the bottom.
Auror. The man kneeling in front of him is an auror. From the Ministry.
Minky didn't just bring some random person into the manor - and Tim feels so stupid to have thought otherwise, she is a perfectly loyal, caring elf that he's known his whole life, how could he think that way about her? - she did exactly as she's been told. She got someone.
"Hey, there," the auror speaks, and Tim can't really see his face, but his voice is gentle and soft, and there's an intangible wave of warmth radiating from him. Tim had grown to associate it with magic - as in, when there's so much of it in someone's body that it spills out, charging the air around them. Makes sense if he got through the wards of Drake manor all on his own.
"Hi," Tim croaks out, still holding on to his knee, and blinks a couple of times, trying to get rid of his tears. It works badly.
"My name is Bruce," the man speaks again, and his hands are moving, slow and careful so as not to scare Tim with any sudden movements. He would have appreciated it a little more, probably if his leg was not- Tim takes a sharp breath in. If his leg was not broken. There, he's said it. Or, at least he thought it in his head.
But, before he can go back to focusing on the blooming, pulsing pain right under his knee, the auror - Bruce - points his wand at his broken limb, and softly, quietly murmurs, "Praerigidus."
The pain disappears instantly, like someone cut it off, and instead, his leg feels cold and numb, like frozen solid. Tim's breath hitches, and he hastily wipes the tears away to look down at it, just to make sure his leg is still there, that the auror didn't just vanish it into nothingness. But, no, thankfully, it's still attached, albeit bent in a very wrong way that makes Tim's stomach twist.
"Ferula," the man casts again, pointing his wand at Tim's leg once more, and long strips of white bandages appear out of the tip of it, wrapping themselves tightly around the broken limb to secure it. "Let's get you to Mungo's," the auror suggests next, and, for the first time, Tim sees his face.
He looks younger than Father or Mother, and he is definitely darker than them. Drakes are all pale, sometimes even sickly so - in Tim's case, or so he's heard - but the auror's skin is a few shades warmer. And his hair is a mess.
Kind of like Danny's.
Tim nods, not entirely sure he can find his voice or manage to avoid it sounding like he swallowed a frog. The man - he is an adult, and Tim is not comfortable calling him by his first name, and he doesn't know what family he is from - smiles back at him. It's a small smile, one that only touches the corners of his lips, but Tim knows it counts. His Mother smiles in the same way.
Minky makes a high-pitched, worried sound, and Tim feels a little guilty that he completely forgot about her still standing there. He looks up at her and smiles, too, "It's okay, he's an auror," he turns to the man, "Right, sir?"
"That is correct," There's a tinge of amusement in auror's voice as he picks Tim up in his arms like he weights nothing. It's surprisingly comfortable to be held like that. Warm, like the auror's magic. "Thank you, Ms. Minky, I'll take it from here. I will be sending an owl to Mr. and Mrs. Drake, but if you would like to check on your young master later, you have my permission to appear at Wayne Manor at any time. Alfred will be there to meet you."
Tim blinks, his whole body freezing at once, just like his leg did before.
Wayne Manor?!..

Where the crash landing happened:

Bruce's portrait back at the Manor and his first impression of Tim:
[Picrew] | [Picrew]
âââââââ
Worldbuilding notes that got really long this time:
Waynes are (err, were) a pureblood family that was proud of their heritage and resented muggles and muggle culture quite publicly. But then Martha came along, a sweet half-blood Slytherin child full of charm, innocent smiles and ambition that went far beyond what anyone expected. Thomas, who was also very much a Slytherin, was gone for her instantly, and, shortly after they were wed, they both started - also publicly - giving zero shits about pureblood nonsense.
They later died by the hands of a muggle, while coming back from a muggle cinema in a muggle part of London, and Daily Prophet was very cruel about it. There were more than a few articles that went on and on about the matter, most of them along the lines of 'that's what you get for liking muggles'.
Newly orphaned Bruce was left with an empty Wayne Manor, a few house elves, and Alfred Pennyworth, who claimed himself a butler (but the rumor has it he was in a relationship with both Martha and Thomas, and the evidence - he was also a Slytherin in their year - speaks for itself, and besides, who in their right mind becomes a butler in the wizarding world without some ulterior motives?)
Understandably, Bruce threw a fit and promptly became, a) a fucking menace, b) the first Gryffindor in the Wayne family in six generations, c) an auror, d) hell-bent on adopting the most unfitting (heritage-wise) kids into his family, according to the Prophet. He is on the mission to fistfight a millenia old prejudice, and he is desperate to win.
Minky fetched him of all people because he was the closest competent adult in the area with enough magic to get through the wards. Waynes and Drakes are neighbors - as much as you can say that when they both have acres of land in their respective estates.
Also, Tim's reaction to the name happens because, one, his parents made it obvious enough they don't like Bruce despite him being their closest neighbor, and, technically, a pureblood, and two, he didn't expect to not be returned back to Drake estate after his leg is dealt with.
Dick is currently a fourth year in Hogwarts and Jason is a first year (just like Jazz, btw). More on them later.
Also, hey, remember the poll? Heroic break in it was, with the additional spice of broom accident.

I just finished your recently completed DP fic and I LOVED it!!!!! I also caught up on the DPxDC crossover and love that too! Iâm not in the DP or DC fandoms, but your fics were so amazing, do you have any fic recommendations? I donât even know where to start looking, I know nothing about either fandom.
Thank you, I'm really glad you like them!! I always recommend first looking at the bookmarks of your favorite authors. Usually they'll read a lot of the same stuff they write, so it's a good way to find fics to your taste! I have about 400 DP fics bookmarked, but here's the highlights-
(Cut for length, there are so many, my impulse control is nil)
DP
Wake Me Up to Say Goodbye - A gradual Jack-centric reveal fic. Jack's genuine love for his family shines through so well here.
broken trust and the wounds hidden behind - This fic is particularly dear to me. Jack finds out about Danny without Danny realizing and starts working to make things right.
Prove That You Deserve the Answer - Jazz/Maddie bodyswap fic. One of my favorite reveals.
Dinner and Diatribes - Vlad traps Danny and Maddie in an underground bunker to play house. This one is, uh, a lot of the inspo for the Fentons' dehumanization of Phantom. But it has a happy ending.
How to Raise the Dead - Very short, sweet fic that isn't exactly post-reveal, but Jack and Maddie know anyway.
Now's The Time (Get In Line) - A fun reveal fic where the GIW raid Casper High for Phantom. The central battle scene in this lives rent-free in my mind.
definition of insanity (is doing the same thing) - Dash Baxter redemption, seriously confronts Dash's bullying.
A Play to Remember - The most interesting and complex A-listers reveal I've ever read.
That Razor's Edge - Halfa!Valerie. So wonderfully done. <3
Ghost on the Couch - Maddie makes Danny go to therapy. While they never quite get around to talking about most of the events of the series (rip) it's still a brilliant showcase of Danny's psychology and emotional turmoil.
DPxDC
If You Give a Bat a Burger - Obligatory, the quintessential DPxDC fic. Plot driven and engaging, and you'll see a certain reference to it in most other DPxDC fics lmao.
Vacation Crashers - Another staple. Plot-driven, but it has one of my favorite Bruce characterizations of any DPxDC fic. (It also inspired a lot of the Fentons' more... neglectful behavior in my fics.)
those who serve. - Can't pass this one up. Danny becomes Alfred's apprentice. Alfred is very concerned.
Wanted: Dead And Alive - Dead Tired. Everyone is scrambling to figure out who the hell Danny is, very fun without sacrificing feeling.
Some Kind of Miraculous Bind - A Demon Twins fic. Damian is very sweet here. <3
But I Want to Be Let In, Not Out - Probably my favorite Demon Twins iteration. Damian just wants to see his brother again, okay?
The Bat Trap - One last Demon Twins fic for good measure. This one plays with its premise so well and integrates the two worlds wonderfully.
Like and Survive - Phantom's Guide to Young Hero Survival - Fix-it field trip through the DCU. You don't know a lot about the DCU? You're about to find out. Very thorough and thoughtful.
Ghosts, Legacies, and CPS - Danny is removed from the Fentons' custody. Danny is inserted into Tim's custody. Vlad does something stupid. Beautifully done and very satisfying.
what dumb luck or good ghost led you from there to here? - Danny and Barbara, where Danny settles in the Clocktower and Babs coaxes him closer like a stray cat.
I Am A Retired Hero And My Love Interest Is A Former Crime Lord? - Dead on Main, obviously. Probably the fic that made me fall in love with this pairing, with a lot of excellent background and foreground plots. Jack and Maddie chase Skulker around to ask him questions about ghost culture. He complains to Danny about it. It's great.
What Binds Us - Such excellent worldbuilding around Crime Alley and Gotham in general. I loves it. <3 (This one by @breannasfluff)
Like Betta Fish Do - Dead on Main, both sweet and very fun. I love @clockwayswrites' characterizations and this particular fic handles their developing relationship super well. On that topic-
One Stop Soup Shop - My feelings,,,, tooth-rotting Dead on Main fluff.
Birdritch - Spirit Halloween, so much fluff between Danny and the Batfamily.
A Broken Sort of Normal - OOF. So many feelings?? Danny/Wally, with so much good angst.
(I can't keep going down the list, just take a run through PaperPuffin's profile, you won't regret it. <3)
I would also suggest following @nerdpoe, @stars-obsession-pit, and @sheepheadfred; they all have good taste in tumblr snippets!
Have fun!
