Secret Smiles
Hi, this is my first one-shot so I obviously had to have Jack Champion kick off this account! Let me know your opinions or requests too!
Please do not repost this, reblogs are appreciated.
Jack Champion x F!Reader
☁︎ Fluff
summary: your relationship with Jack is still private so you communicate across events in different ways.

The Emmy Awards. I've heard that so much recently that its starting to sound like a made-up word. I still get goosebumps every time I remember I get to attend these prestigious awards with my cast, friends and-
"Y/N, as beautiful as you look right now, it is time to get up"
And- my boyfriend.
Jack and I have been together for almost 7 months and due to me living in England most of the time, we have been able to keep it a secret. Our relationship is like that Taylor Swift song “London Boy” but flipped. Because god he loves the English.
I give in to the whispering voice and slowly start to stretch to wake my body up. As I open my eyes I realize the curtains have been opened and warm yellow light is pouring down onto the mop of curls bouncing around me.
"Compliments already Champion?" I ask grinning as Jack whips around to see I'm awake now, "Maybe I should stay asleep forever if you think I look that good."
"Yeah but then all my bad jokes would never be laughed at again" he says as he walks towards me offering his arm and bowing slightly, "M'Lady, breakfast is waiting and it'll be cold if we don't hurry" he exclaims in his best British accent before grabbing my hand and pulling me through the hotel room in a fit of mischievous giggles.
He had ordered my favorite from room service and had it set in front of the window with a view of the beach in the distance. Although I woke up later than planned we were still ahead of schedule so we took our time eating and just talking to try and ignore the nerves for tonight.
A knock at the hotel door made us jump and we remembered Jack was supposed to stay in his own room. I tried to whisper that he should wait somewhere until it was safe to leave but my manager and the rest of my team walked in. I'd forgotten they had a key.
"Oh... I let myself in as I thought you over slept but I can see-" She glances at Jack trying not to break her serious face, " you are awake and have company"
Everyone glances at each other for a few moments before erupting into laughter as it's almost an unspoken tradition that me and Jack don't listen to staying separate before something so nerve wracking as The Emmys.
Sadly, Jack was kicked out swiftly so that my team could help me with my hair and makeup and eventually get into my dress. This is one of my favorite parts of the day because everyone is talking and having fun while music plays as background music for us to dance, sing or just listen to. One thing we love to do is make TikToks about the process of my makeover.
I thrive off musical.ly transitions and the fans love it every time, and it makes me so happy. My fans have always been some of my favorite people. When I first started out I followed the first fan accounts and we continue DM regularly after all this time. But even though they are lovely, Jack and I are still wary of hate and also some of the threats that his fans may throw at me. We will tell people eventually but right now its fun to mess with them and give subtle hints for the detectives among the followers.
I am finally ready. I've finished the last parts of TikToks, taken photos and grabbed my bag of essentials like plasters, gum and tissues. I shoot Jack a text and he's at my door in less than 30 seconds. Even though he has seen pictures of my outfit, his eyes almost pop out of their sockets when I open the hotel door.
"Hey-" My face starts to go red after realizing why he has stopped talking "Jesus Y/N, you look gorgeous, like actually breathtaking, I need an inhaler, Do you have to pay for inhalers? Where do you even buy them from?" He rambles as he becomes flustered in front of the beautiful woman he gets to call his girlfriend.
I grab his face, to stop the word vomit, and kiss him trying not to smile too much. "Thank you Jack, you look as amazing as always" I retort "Is it hot in here, somebody catch me I am going to faint, Cause of death: Jack Champion" We both laugh before our managers tell us its sadly time to separate for the ride to The Emmys.
We text non-stop throughout the journey talking about everything that has ever happened because neither of us can stay on one topic without branching off into a rant or an important piece of backstory to the first conversation. But Jack has to arrive at the theater first so that he can walk the carpet at a similar time to his cast mates, and so that I can do the same. So we text our goodbyes.
Stepping out of the car onto the carpet with fans shouting and cameras flashing is a feeling I will never get used to. The rush hits me as I remember to smile and walk properly to not look like Bambi on ice. My manager is that my side lightly guiding me towards the queue of celebrities next to the paparazzi for our official photos. I use the waiting time to scope out the brown head of hair that will calm me down.
I hear him laughing before I see him. He is doing an interview with one of his favorite cast mates and I feel my face already start to ache from smiling at him. However he doesn't spot me until I'm on the carpet.
(Jack's Interview- Jack's POV)
"So yes, we are extremely proud of this movie" I end my answer for the interviewer. They start to ask another but I am distracted by the roar of noise from behind me. Y/N.
She looks stunning. I can tell why she has such dedicated fans, I mean look at her. I finally catch her eye and we do our little signal.
It's like we have made up our own language for these events. Little head wiggles, eyebrows and nose scrunches and sometimes we risk it by lip syncing the words and we just pray that no one can see we are communicating with each other.
I laugh to myself before I'm pulled away from the trance she has put me in. My cast mate is elbowing me and I realize a few people are staring at me, expecting an answer.
" Oh I'm so sorry, I got distracted" Y/N is never going to stop talking about this, "What was the question?"
(Back to Y/N's POV)
As I walk off the end of the carpet my manager appears, telling me all about Jack's distraction and I already knew he was going to be so embarrassed about this even before I pulled out my phone to be met with the long stream of manic texts from Jack.
(Later that night, in the comment section of Jack's Interview)
jackonion: Is anyone else trying to work out what got Jack so distracted? ↳user142: no omg i was trying to do that too! ↳Y/N's.heart: It was definitely Y/N, you can see her dress at the end of the video. I might be going delusional but it's because I ship them.
"Uh Oh" Jack and I say at the same time.
Wow! So that is the end of my first piece?! Please let me know if its too long or doesn't make sense as I am now paranoid that I just wrote a random bunch of words with my eyes closed. I don't really know if this can have part two but if you think of anything let me know.
Requests are open, so send them through! Use as much detail as you want or have.
Please do not repost this, reblogs are appreciated.

Hehehe YouTuber au headcanons?
More Youtuber AU!
-So Carrie is clearly huge in the fashion and beauty and lifestyle spheres. She does brutally honest product reviews with stuff she buys herself (because fuck sponsorships that require you say nice things), makeovers for herself and Reggie into different styles, make-up tips and routines, and every now and then she goes all Rich Youtuber and surprises her subscribers with like, a shopping spree or buying poor kids their prom outfits or whatever.
-Reggie's favourite was the one where she got them both a full historically accurate Renaissance Faire get-up.
-Also of course Dirty Candi has its own channel and they do stuff for that too.
-Very few people link Carrie's cute hype-man and boyfriend Reggie to that video essay channel that goes really, really in depth into Star Wars lore and background details, mostly because he doesn't show his face on that one.
-Some people are like: hey isn't he that tiktok guy who films himself giving dogs at the park the most unhinged compliments. (Insert clip of Reggie telling a Pomeranian she could lead armies and help them win the skeleton war, while she wags and lets him pet her)
-Alex has a reaction channel where he does both shows and movies he's never seen/was never allowed to watch as a child, as well as like tiktok stories and memes. People like his snarky sense of humour. They also love whenever he does something horror, because he insists on watching it with his cute boyfriend, who is 100% not phased by anything and will be like: it's okay babe the werewolf is just tearing that guy apart. Remember, he deserved it, he was rude to that gas station attendant trying to warn them not to go into Werewolf Woods.
-Willie doesn't have a youtube but he does post sick skateboard tricks on tiktok.... sometimes in locations he Should Not Be.
-Flynn has a channel where she makes parody songs and raps. Julie and the guys are sometimes featured.
-They all live together in a big mansion and people are like: OMG IT'S ANOTHER YOUTUBE HYPE HOUSE and Carrie is like: um no, this is my fucking house and the others just live here because else it gets boring and also Reggie is like a sad puppy if he doesn't get to hang out with his friends at least an hour every day.
-Julie as a Sims Youtuber. She started playing a lot after her mom died because you can turn on the Sims and forget about everything and suddenly it's four hours later, and she needed that at the start to just get through the days. She's got a few long-running series that are very popular.
-Julie is the only one going to school because her Tía would murder her if she dropped out of college to become a youtuber. Ray promises her he'll be proud no matter what she does but also he doesn't really understand Youtube and how you can make a living with it. He's very happy to help film on bigger projects or give camera advice to everyone, though.
-Everyone has guest starred on Carlos' ghost hunter show and people keep wondering how the hell he knows all these famous youtubers because he's such a small channel.
-Luke is the guy who is like: COME ON GUYS YOUTUBE ISN'T A VALID CAREER WE NEED TO BE DISCOVERED AS A BAND THE OLD FASHIONED WAY. He's like a cryptid that pops up in the background of everyone's videos. There's special Youtube Compilations of him from across the different channels, and he HATES IT.
#youtuber au#julie and the phantoms#carriexreggie#willex#the only time Luke had fun was when Flynn did a rock parody and he got to actually play#one time carrie did a sportswear review and reggie tried on the leggings and top as well#and let's just say he Broke a Specific Part Of Tumblr with that

imagine if the characters had access to Tiktok 😣
I Wonder what they would do on there, i think Sorcha would be an influencer ngl 🤷♀️
Oh, she absolutely would be an influencer, but a very specific kind of influencer - think Dita Von Teese as an influencer. Lots of Golden Hollywood glamour, exploring the world of theater and singing and burlesque, lots of Day In The Life Of A Chanteuse TikToks, shopping in high end boutiques and finding gorgeous vintage finds. One of her most famous TikTok’s is doing her makeup routine whilst handling her butterfly knife, singing an Irish cover of “Young and Beautiful.”
Lor would be all about Boxing/Gym Life, his matches and workout routines along with whatever trend tickles his fancy. LOTS of practical jokes and shenanigans directed at his siblings and his best mate Brig (“I DON’T WANNA BE ON BLOODY CAMARA, PISS OFF!”) and mixing of cocktails and bartending tricks.
Also lots of TikTok’s about his amazing, spectacular, gorgeous girlfriend. “Ain’t she the best? Rilla, show them your gorgeous smile, can’t believe a mug like me has this girlie on me arm…” The most popular TikTok of his featuring her is when he’s trying to teach her how to properly throw a punch. At the end Rilla leaps at the punching bag and holds onto it like a koala while Lorcan falls to the floor laughing.
Rilla’s TikToks are all about ballet and dancing and fashion, she had a huge following and she adores her fans. She loves to do TikTok’s of getting ready for her barre exercises whilst wearing a flower crown and telling about her latest adventure at the club, and is very big into promoting body positivity and body neutrality, and is always ready to be a cheerleader for anyone who is feeling down.
She also has countless ones about her sweet, loving, passionate boyfriend, “He’s as handsome as the devil but his heart is the kindest in the whole wide world! Look at those eyes! Oh, but they make me weak in the knees…!” The most popular TikTok of hers featuring him is when Rilla gave him a spa day, which meant a manicure, pedicure, a facial and massage and a full cosmetic makeover - Lorcan adored it.
Saoirse’s account is focused on activism, lots of marches and protests and lifting up grassroots movements and go fund me’s, showing ways to give back to the community and help those who don’t have housing or resources. She has to be careful with her TikTok’s because the police are aware enough about her and her influence to consider her a troublemaker…
Locke’s TikToks all about True Crime and whatever else he wants to info dump about - medieval executions and instruments of torture, the history of poisons, how the Victorians were obsessed with death, what it would take to actually reanimate dead tissue like in Frankenstein, et cetera.
He’s very confused by any attempts at flirting and is notorious about his beef with one Padraic Regal. And yet, he gets VERY bitchy to those who gush about Regal (“You’re NOT his type! Not…not that I…know about his - humph!- type…”) or insult him in anyway. Regal is his to insult, that’s all…
Padraic, meanwhile, holds off on posting anything on his account because he doesn’t want any kind of incriminating evidence that the police and or his rivals/competitors could use against him. But when he does, oh man…
Hashtags about him start going viral, people immediately falling over themselves about him. He becomes infamous for his cutting criticism of modern media, his witty observations and banter, his debonair fashion, his cultured charm, his flawless grooming/cosmetics, and Being That Bitch. Followers are quick to pick up on and note how he and Locke cross paths a lot despite their…tension. There’s a lot of teasing done, and some of Padraic’s more ardent supporters begin to harass Locke.
And then those followers disappear. And everyone learns that Padraic Regal is the only one allowed to fuck with Sage Locke.
#ratterrock replies#sorcha regal#lorcan regal#sage locke#padraic regal#rilla mackenzie#saoirse regal#ratterrock#Bogdan is an old fart who doesn’t trust TikTok#Casimir isn’t allowed on it for his mental health (which he HATES)#(he would post the WILDEST TikTok’s if he could)#Brig stays away from social media in general#Luella has an account but she never posts anything it’s just to keep tabs on Rilla

I’ve been revisiting older obsessions, watching Game of Thrones again, contemplating re-reading the first book (& finally starting the others). Falling in love with Gendrya, & those two in general. With Arya and Maisie on the brain, and hair & makeup always on the brain, I was curious to see what she’d look like with darker hair and more shaped, slightly thinner eyebrows (Maisie has a lovely cherubic 👼 beauty to her, so more delicate eyebrows, and the bleached eyebrows she had a while back, look harmonious on her IMO). I don’t think I’d ever seen Maisie with a more arched and groomed eyebrow look since the season 1 premiere (I think? If Google is correct). Then I always thought she’d look fairytale-ish with dark brown, Rachel Weisz-like hair. Upset that my photoshop skills are nill., so I couldn’t add a plum lip color to her smiling lips like I wanted without disaster, I instead added some ~statement liner (inspired by the trailer for Priscilla I saw earlier), bronzey brown shadow, and more blusher (so the darker hair wouldn’t wash her out).
I have now concluded Maisie has got to go darker and try out a more 90s brow. Now how do I communicate this to her without coming off crazy? 😂
Honestly this was kind of fun. Kind of want to makeover more celebs (with hair and makeup only NOT uncanny valley TikTok-style warping and filtering of features). Reminds of playing with those Barbie makeover head things.
(Pls ignore my shoddy attempt at adding long hair, drawing it on, hating the result, then trying to blur it out to make it look realistic, only to have made it look highly unrealistic lmao)

I found a TikTok that had the idea of a Greek god poly, and I loved the idea so I decided to expand on it a little more! Here’s just some ideas and feel free to add more!
(Also this is purely for fun, I don’t mean to be rude about anyone’s beliefs or opinions)
Hades + Minthe + Persephone
- Perse made mint for minthe instead of making her into it.
- Minthe works with the two to maintain control of the underworld and to be a traveler outside of the underworld.
- Perse being stuck there was an accident but now hades keeps pomegranate orchards for her.
- Perse and hades dote on minthe relentlessly with gems or flowers.
- Minthe makes them all fashionable and pretty and regularly makes tea from the gardens that perse keeps/brings exotic teas with her from home.
- Hades still has to be the kind of the underworld but they help him manage and remind him to take breaks from working.
- Hades and minthe visit perse when she’s in the mortal realm, and have a cabin they stay in surrounded by vineyards, it’s actually Dionysus’ but he lends it to them when they want to see her.
- Demeter isn’t a bad mom, but she can be a lot so they totally understand when perse needs a whole week to just sleep or be alone at the beginning of winter
- They have many dogs, mostly rescues from the mortal realm that perse brought to live forever with them, and they are the most soiled rotten dogs to ever exist.
- Perse has the largest greenhouse possible in the underworld, and it’s protected by loyal warriors (who don’t really need to be there but they insist). She keeps all kinds of plants in there and never allows anyone to mess with her plants. But sometimes a new pot or two and some small exotic plants show up as gifts, mainly from her lovers but some are sent by other gods. She has a whole planter of mint set to the side, both because she made it for minthe so it’s special and because it would take over everything else and be incredibly stubborn about letting go (just like minthe)
Hephaestus + Aphrodite + Ares
- Met in a bar when Hephaestus took Aphrodite out on a date night, he stepped in when ares started a fight and managed to stop the fight with an invention.
- Aphrodite started with affairs with ares but Hephaestus learned and talked to the two. Ares wasn’t happy but talked Aphrodite into leaving him. But then Ares heard from Hera about a couples counselor and learned about polys and now they are in a poly together where both guys are with Aphrodite happily and they can be friends.
- Hephaestus likes to make weapons and gadgets for ares to test out plus he can see how well they handle the stress of being used relentlessly by the war god.
- Ares actually learns to see past the superficial parts of Hephaestus and begins to defend him against the other gods.
- Aphrodite rambles about little romances blooming in the mortal realm and the two boys roll their eyes but listen intently cause they love their girl.
- One time she and Hephaestus trapped ares and she gave him a makeover. He couldn’t get the lipstick off for days
- Speaking of makeup, Hephaestus developed new products that Aphrodite could give to mortals she favored as a gift of beauty (and that’s how mortals got makeup stuff)
- Aphrodite taught Hephaestus to be more confident with his works and with the other gods and she’s helping him to be more outgoing.
- Hephaestus rubber-ducks at either of the two when they are around each other, and carries around a notebook gifted to him from Aphrodite that never runs out of pages so he can jot down ideas all the time.

Romanticise Your Life!
Find the beauty in the little things...
(but only if you look good while doing it)
Social media has exploded in popularity over the last fifteen years, becoming more complex and intelligent every day. This social networking surge has affected the very core of how we function as a society and will probably continue to do so for years to come. Though we might think that technology evolves with us, the rise of social media has led me to believe that we are the ones who have adapted and will continue to do so. Diving deeper into this, the people who have had their perceptions of themselves and the world around them changed and distorted by social media the most are women.
Over the years, women have slowly become accustomed to the airbrushed perfection of runway models and actresses seeping into our minds while trying on an outfit or looking in the mirror. However, the clear distinction between reality and fantasy has become somewhat of a savior when desperately attempting not to slip into a pit of self-hatred as a woman. Though it still hurts deep down, we are at least aware that magazines, advertisements, and movies are touched up and perfected, and we cannot expect ourselves to replicate something that simply isn't real.
This is getting more complicated now. The lines of what is real and what is not are more blurred than ever, and the idea that to be a woman is to perform has never felt more real. Why? Where does this come from? As platforms like TikTok expand, there is a distinct rise in a particular type of content made to dress up and makeover the everyday into something glamorous and beautiful. One way of referring to this kind of content is "Romanticizing Your Life". While this idea of romanticizing your life is not harmful in itself, it has been totally warped and misconstrued when placed in the context of social media and content consumption in 2023.
I feel like there is a big difference between romanticizing your life in practice and showing other people how romanticized your life is. Practicing mindfulness to take notice of finer details, making time for yourself and enjoying self-care, and showing gratitude for the smaller things in life are all ways I believe you can romanticize your life in practice. It's about feeling content, fulfilled, and happy. This is personal to you; you know the ins and outs of your life and what makes it great better than anyone. The message gets lost once you introduce social media to the concept, and most of us don't even realize it.
Social media, especially TikTok, instills this need to perform and show off, leaving a lot of people feeling unfulfilled and unhappy with their own lives. This is a problem for anyone who uses social media, but it varies depending on the media you consume. Aesthetically pleasing, romanticizing your life content is a lot sneakier in bringing about this need to perform, and it affects women in a drastically different way. These montages of the beautiful things present in everyday life are always accompanied by a perfectly made-up woman. Shots of beautifully blown-out hair and perfect nails, coordinated outfits, and outstretched arms posing by the beach
You are no longer romanticizing your life; you are romanticizing yourself. Are the simple joys in life still simple joys if you must look good while experiencing them? These videos are often consumed for inspiration purposes, helping to show people how joyful their lives can be, but this is overshadowed by the idea that you need to look beautiful in order to experience beauty.
This feeds into issues surrounding the male gaze and self-objectification; women are already conditioned to view their bodies according to how others view them because of their exposure to objectification. Trends like this only heighten that. This idea that romanticizing your life comes with looking beautiful while doing so only increases the need to self-objectify and arguably does more harm than good.
Life is beautiful; tiny things we take for granted are beautiful, things we never normally see the beauty in. You deserve to experience the world's beauty regardless of how you happen to look; it does not devalue the experience or make your life any less romantic. Experiencing the simple joys in life, embracing the moment, and exuding gratitude is the most beautiful thing of all; how you look while doing it, frankly, does not matter.
Peace and love <3

this makes sense to me but.
nct dream - sylvanian families dolls (but the ones ppl on tiktok create crazy stories for)
nct 127 - dolls that are bought from thrift stores/online then cleaned, revamped, and some parts are replaced and the clothes are changed. so, redone by a professional doll enthusiast.
wayv - theyre either bratz dolls or those dolls based on real life people that look a little funny because making real people's faces cartoonish never works.
stray kids - monster high dolls, but they have custom made clothing. alternatively, the barbies from tmpgis
I have never seen a more true statement in my life Dream are so Sylvanian families!!!! Even the actual Sylvanian families stories. If you watch it, it's so NCT dream.
127 being saved thrift store dolls with the most incredible makeovers just makes so much sense.
Wayv, ooh what about the live action Disney princess dolls that they make look like the actress but there's hella uncanny valley going on. Like the beauty and the beast one, the Emma Watson one. Is it sad I forgot her last name and I had to look it up cause I only know Emma Roberts and Emma Stone. Emma Stone being my favorite Emma. But yeah oh those have strong Wayv energy.
As someone who has monster high dolls that I have made custom clothes for that completely makes all the sense in the world for stray kids.

Social Media Trends And Their Impact On Hair Health

In the age of social media, beauty trends and hairstyling ideas are more accessible than ever. Platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube have become hotspots for creative hair inspiration, from vibrant colours to heat-styled waves and dramatic makeovers. However, behind the glamour of these trends lies a growing concern—many of these practices can significantly damage hair health, leading to issues like breakage, thinning, and even hair loss.
This article delves into the impact of social media trends on hair health and highlights how seeking expert advice from a trichologist in Mumbai and opting for the right hair loss treatment can help address these concerns effectively.
Popular Social Media Hair Trends That Harm Hair Health
1. Frequent Hair Coloring and Bleaching
Trendy hair colours like pastels, bold neons, or platinum blonde are constantly showcased on social media. However, achieving these shades often requires extensive bleaching and the use of harsh chemicals that strip the hair of its natural moisture.
Impact: Overprocessing weakens the hair shaft, making it prone to breakage, split ends, and thinning over time.
Solution: Regular conditioning treatments and professional advice from the best hair specialist doctor in Mumbai can help maintain hair strength and reduce damage.
2. Excessive Heat Styling
The sleek hairstyles and perfectly curled locks trending online often require the use of straighteners, curling irons, or blow dryers.
Impact: Frequent exposure to high heat damages the hair cuticle, leading to dull, brittle strands and eventually causing hair loss.
Solution: Use heat-protectant sprays and limit the use of heat-styling tools. Consulting a trichologist in Mumbai can provide additional insights into repairing heat-damaged hair.
3. Tight Hairstyles and Extensions
Influencers often flaunt tight ponytails, braids, or hair extensions, creating a polished, trendy look.
Impact: These hairstyles can cause traction alopecia—a condition where hair falls out due to constant pulling and tension on the scalp.
Solution: Avoid wearing tight hairstyles frequently and consult a specialist for advanced hair loss treatment if you notice excessive shedding.
4. DIY Hair Care Remedies
Social media is filled with DIY hair masks and treatments claiming to work miracles. While some remedies may be beneficial, others, like applying undiluted lemon juice or baking soda, can damage the scalp and hair.
Impact: Misusing ingredients can lead to scalp irritation, hair fall, and compromised hair health.
Solution: Always seek advice from a professional, like the best hair specialist doctor in Mumbai, before trying DIY remedies.
Why Social Media Trends Impact Younger Audiences
Young people are the primary consumers of social media, making them more likely to experiment with trendy hairstyles and treatments. This experimentation often comes without fully understanding the long-term consequences for hair health.
Peer Pressure: The desire to look trendy and gain validation through likes and comments drives young users to adopt damaging practices.
Inadequate Knowledge: Many influencers promote hair treatments without disclosing potential risks or emphasising the importance of professional advice.
How To Reverse The Damage
If social media-inspired hair care routines have taken a toll on your hair, don’t worry—effective solutions are available.
1. Consult a Trichologist
A trichologist in Mumbai specialises in diagnosing and treating hair and scalp issues. They can identify the root cause of your hair problems and recommend tailored treatments to restore your hair health.
2. Explore Advanced Hair Loss Treatments
Modern hair restoration techniques can help reverse the damage and promote regrowth.
PRP Therapy: Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy involves injecting your own plasma into the scalp to stimulate hair follicles and improve density.
Growth Factor Concentrate (GFC): GFC therapy offers a more advanced approach by using growth factors to repair hair follicles and encourage regrowth.
Both treatments are non-invasive and highly effective, especially when recommended by the best hair specialist doctor in Mumbai.
3. Adopt a Healthy Hair Care Routine
Avoid over-styling, nourish your hair with a balanced diet, and use high-quality hair products. For chronic hair issues, expert consultation is crucial.
The Role Of Professional Guidance
The influence of social media trends on hair health highlights the importance of consulting professionals who specialise in hair care. A trichologist in Mumbai can offer insights into scalp health, recommend personalised treatments, and provide solutions to prevent further damage.
Additionally, seeking the best hair loss treatment ensures that the problem is addressed at its core, providing long-term results. Whether it’s thinning hair caused by bleaching or shedding due to tight hairstyles, timely intervention can make all the difference.
Conclusion
While social media trends can be fun and inspiring, it’s essential to recognise their impact on hair health. Overprocessing, excessive heat styling, and tight hairstyles can lead to hair fall and damage if not managed properly. By consulting a trichologist in Mumbai and opting for effective hair loss treatments, you can restore your hair’s vitality and keep it healthy despite the latest trends.
Remember, prioritising the health of your hair is more important than following every fleeting trend online. Choose professional advice over risky experiments and give your hair the care it deserves.

How Much Retouching is Too Much? A Fun Quiz
Introduction: The Art of Retouching in the Digital Age
Retouching has become an inseparable part of the digital world, particularly in photography, design, and social media. With countless apps and software tools at our fingertips, we can erase blemishes, adjust lighting, and even alter entire facial structures with a few swipes. While retouching can elevate the aesthetic appeal of an image, there’s a fine line between enhancement and distortion.
This blog explores the boundaries of retouching through a fun quiz that will help you determine if your editing habits lean more toward subtle tweaks or extreme makeovers. Let’s dive in and uncover the balance that makes image retouching services a tool of artistry rather than deception.

The Purpose of Retouching: Fixing vs. Transforming
Why Do We Retouch in the First Place?
Retouching, at its core, is about refining an image to align it with a particular vision or standard. Professional photographers use it to adjust lighting, correct colors, or remove temporary blemishes like a stray hair or a pimple. The aim here is not to deceive but to present the best version of reality while retaining authenticity. This approach helps preserve the essence of the subject without overwhelming the viewer with unrealistic perfection.
When Does Retouching Become Too Much?
There’s a turning point where retouching shifts from enhancement to transformation. When skin textures are erased entirely, body shapes are altered to meet unattainable ideals, or environmental elements are completely swapped out, it becomes an issue of misrepresentation. Overdoing it can lead to a false narrative, erode trust, and set unrealistic standards, especially in industries like fashion and beauty.
Recognizing Your Style: Subtle Enhancer or Perfectionist?
The Subtle Enhancer
Are you someone who tweaks the contrast, evens out the tones, and maybe reduces the prominence of a single wrinkle? If so, you likely fall under the “subtle enhancer” category. This style respects the original image while making slight adjustments to highlight its strengths. Subtle enhancement often goes unnoticed but leaves a polished, professional touch.
The Perfectionist’s Approach
If you find yourself layering filters, changing the shape of a subject’s nose, or adding artificial lens flares, you might lean toward the perfectionist end of the spectrum. While it’s not inherently bad, this level of retouching can sometimes venture into overkill. Instead of drawing attention to the subject’s natural beauty or the story behind the image, the focus shifts to the edits themselves.
The Social Media Effect: Are We All Guilty?
Social Media’s Influence on Perceptions of Beauty
Social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok have created an environment where polished, flawless images are the norm. Filters, editing apps, and built-in beauty modes encourage users to present an idealized version of themselves. This has led to widespread acceptance of heavily retouched images, often blurring the line between reality and fantasy. The pressure to conform to these standards can make even casual users question their natural beauty.
The Role of Influencers and Content Creators
Influencers and content creators often set the tone for what’s considered acceptable or desirable on social media. While many now embrace “realness” by posting unedited or minimally edited photos, others continue to rely on extensive retouching to maintain their curated aesthetic. This duality creates a complex environment where audiences are encouraged to “be real” but are simultaneously exposed to heavily altered visuals.

The Quiz: How Much Retouching is Too Much for You?
Question 1: What’s Your Goal When Editing an Image?
Consider whether your primary objective is to enhance an image’s natural qualities or to create an entirely new look. For instance, do you retouch because you feel the photo isn’t good enough as is, or because you enjoy the creative process of editing? This question can reveal whether your edits stem from artistic vision or self-doubt.
Question 2: How Much Time Do You Spend on Editing?
The amount of time you invest in retouching can be a significant indicator of your approach. If you’re spending hours refining every detail, it might be worth questioning whether the edits are adding value or simply becoming an exercise in perfectionism. On the other hand, quick edits often reflect a more balanced and efficient workflow.
The Ethical Considerations: Honesty vs. Creativity
The Impact of Over-Retouching on Audiences
Over-retouching doesn’t just affect the image creator; it also has a broader social impact. Unrealistic portrayals of beauty can contribute to issues like low self-esteem, body dysmorphia, and unhealthy beauty standards. Audiences, especially younger ones, may internalize these distorted images as the benchmark for success or attractiveness.
Striking a Balance Between Art and Integrity
While retouching can be a form of creative expression, it’s essential to consider the ethical implications. Striking a balance between art and integrity means being transparent about your edits when necessary and ensuring that your work doesn’t perpetuate harmful stereotypes or ideals. This doesn’t mean you can’t edit—it just means editing responsibly.
Tools of the Trade: Simplifying the Retouching Process
User-Friendly Apps for Casual Editing
For those who edit for fun or social media, tools like Snapseed, Lightroom Mobile, and VSCO offer intuitive features that help you enhance your images without going overboard. These apps are perfect for quick, subtle edits that improve an image while retaining its authenticity.
Advanced Software for Professionals
Professional tools like Adobe Photoshop or Capture One offer unparalleled control for those who require precision and depth in their edits. While these programs allow for more detailed jewelry retouching service, they also demand a higher level of skill and discipline to avoid overdoing it. Learning to use these tools effectively can help you achieve a balance between artistry and realism.
Embracing Imperfections: Why Flaws Are Beautiful
Celebrating Authenticity in a Filtered World
In an era dominated by perfection, there’s something refreshing about embracing flaws and imperfections. Freckles, wrinkles, and other unique features tell a story and add character to an image. By celebrating these traits, you contribute to a culture that values authenticity over unattainable ideals.
The Growing Movement Toward Natural Images
More creators and brands are championing the “no-retouch” movement, choosing to showcase raw, unedited photos that highlight natural beauty. This shift is not only empowering but also encourages viewers to appreciate themselves and others without the need for filters or edits. It’s a reminder that sometimes, the most impactful images are the ones that feel the most real.
Conclusion: Finding Your Retouching Sweet Spot
Retouching is both an art and a science, offering endless possibilities for creativity and expression. However, knowing where to draw the line is crucial. By understanding your motivations, considering your audience, and embracing the beauty of imperfection, you can strike a balance that enhances your work without distorting its essence.
So, how much retouching is too much for you? Take a moment to reflect, experiment, and perhaps even embrace a more natural approach. After all, the most captivating images are often the ones that stay true to their roots.

Ice Cream Hair: The Viral Hairstyle Teens Can't Get Enough Of.
New trends in beauty and fashion have been bred on social networking sites like TikTok, Pinterest, and Instagram. These platforms have presented a wide range of trends that have drawn millions of attention, from avant-garde haircuts to weird cosmetic appearances. Cream Hair" style, a vibrant, imaginative, and whimsical hairdo that has gone viral, is one of the most striking and eye-catching trends to hit the scene recently.

I. The viral phenomenon of ice cream hair.
Hair trends that go viral are nothing new to the beauty industry. Whether it's rainbow-colored locks, holographic hair, or the classic "granny gray" hair, social media sites like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok have played a significant role in introducing innovative hairstyles to a worldwide audience. The same is true with ice cream hair. There are a number of reasons for its popularity:
1. TikTok and social media.
The proliferation of ice cream hair has been greatly aided by TikTok. Teens and beauty lovers like trying out different hairstyles, and TikTok offers the ideal venue for showcasing these striking makeovers. Because of their striking imagery and the allure of pastel colors, videos with ice cream hair frequently go viral. Millions of people have viewed the hashtag #IceCreamHair, where they have shared advice on how to get the ideal pastel locks and displayed their own interpretations of the look.
Ice cream hair has also become popular among TikTok creators as part of their influencer aesthetic. Influencers are popularizing and mainstreaming colorful hair by combining it with popular trends, catchy music, and unique flair. This impact has helped to propel ice cream hair to the top of the list of must-try hairstyles for adolescents nationwide.
2. Pastel style in fashion and pop culture.
For a number of years, pastel hues have been popular in fashion, taking over accessories, cosmetics, and apparel due to their gentle, feminine, and soothing qualities. By capitalizing on this wider trend, ice cream hair provides a fresh and intriguing method to display these pastel hues. With celebrities like Billie Eilish, Kylie Jenner, and Ariana Grande experimenting with vibrant hair colors in a range of shades, celebrities and fashion icons have also contributed to the mainstreaming of pastel hair.
Pastel colors naturally found their way into the hairstyling industry as they became a mainstay in apparel and cosmetics. Ice cream hair is particularly appealing to a younger age that enjoys trying out new trends since it embodies the ideal fusion of fashion, beauty, and nostalgia.
3. Escapism.
A visual reprieve from the occasionally harsh realities of life is provided by ice cream hair's use of pastel colors. This may be a very effective incentive for teenagers. Young individuals may show a more carefree, dreamlike side of themselves with ice cream hair, even in the face of societal expectations, familial problems, and academic obstacles. It provides a brief respite from life's seriousness, enabling teenagers to enjoy their youthful delight and fun.
4. Personalization and uniqueness are desirable.
The adaptability of ice cream hair is among its most alluring features. People may develop a haircut that expresses their particular style thanks to the variety of alternatives provided by the pastel color palette. Ice cream hair is a style that can be customized to fit a variety of tastes, whether one favors a more dramatic multi-colored appearance or a subtle two-tone gradient.
The possibilities for customisation are virtually limitless. While some would choose for a more blended, ombré look, others might decide to combine their hair into dramatic color streaks. Additionally, the hue combination may be altered to accommodate various skin tones and tastes, guaranteeing that everyone can take advantage of the trend in their own unique way. Teenagers are drawn to this sense of individuality because they frequently look for methods to stand out and show who they are via beauty and fashion.

II. Ice cream hair: What does it look like?
Its gentle pastel hues, which frequently resemble your favorite ice cream flavors, are what define ice cream hair. Here are a few characteristics that set this hairstyle apart:
1. Pastel colors.
Pastel colors are the defining feature of ice cream hair. These gentle, subdued hues remind one of the delicate hues of classic ice cream flavors. In ice cream hair, common hues include:
Strawberry pink: A pale, creamy shade of pink that resembles strawberry ice cream.
Mint green: A pastel green that looks like mint chocolate chip ice cream is called mint green.
Lavender: A gentle, pale lavender that exudes sweetness and serenity.
Vanilla blonde: A light, creamy blonde that resembles vanilla ice cream's base hue.
Peach: A delicate, peachy hue that makes you think of peach sorbet or a scoop of ice cream with a peach hue.
To create a multicolored or rainbow-like look, some people even mix many pastel tones into their ice cream hair. This may entail blending pink, lavender, and mint green streaks together or employing an ombré technique that alternates between pastel colors.
2. Dreamy, soft texture.
Ice cream hair is often styled to provide both its color scheme and a smooth, voluminous texture. This might include waves or loose curls that give the hair a lively, bouncing look. For additional body and movement of the hair, some individuals like their ice cream hair tousled or textured, while others like it straight.
In order to create the whimsical, dreamlike atmosphere that ice cream hair evokes, texture is crucial. Some individuals might even add braids, twists, or other hair accessories that go well with the pastel hues and whimsical vibe of the style for an extra dose of fun.
3. The ombre or gradient effect.
A gradient or ombre appearance, in which the color progressively shifts from one shade to another, is what some individuals go for, while others stick with pure pastel hues. This might include beginning with a deep pastel shade, like lavender or mint, at the roots of the hair and fading it toward the ends to a lighter tint, like peach or vanilla blonde. As a result, the hairdo seems much more dynamic and has more depth.
Depending on the desired style, the ombre effect can be either subtle or striking. In order to get a striking, eye-catching style, some people may also choose to use the "dipped" or "dip-dye" process, in which the ends of their hair are dyed with a contrasting pastel tint.
4. Innovative use of colors.
Ice cream hair is frequently about experimentation and creativity, in contrast to more conventional hair coloring patterns. The tips, the layers beneath, or even just a few strands close to the face are some examples of the parts of hair that some individuals may decide to add flashes of color to. This makes it possible for the trend to be approached more individually; some choose a simpler look with a touch of pastel color, while others go all out with a complete head of vibrant hair.
III. Ways to get the ideal ice cream hair.
To get the appearance, you must adhere to a few essential procedures if you're prepared to join the ice cream hair trend. Here is all the information you need to make your own pastel masterpiece, regardless of whether you want to try your hand at DIY dyeing or go to a professional hairstylist.
1. Lightening your hair before.
Lightening your hair is the first step to getting ice cream hair since pastel colors don't look good on dark hair. In order to create a blank canvas for the pastel hues, you usually need to bleach your hair to a light blonde or platinum tint. To get the vivid, true-to-color results you desire, this step is essential.
To guarantee that the bleach is applied correctly and that your hair remains healthy, it is ideal for those with naturally dark hair to have this procedure done by a professional colorist. Because bleaching can harm hair, be careful to use nourishing treatments thereafter to maintain the health of your strands.
2. Selecting your color scheme.
The exciting part starts when your hair is lightened: Selecting your colors! Although soft pastel colors are the standard for ice cream hair, you can experiment with other tones to achieve the precise look you like. Among the most well-liked color schemes are:
Mint green & strawberry pink: The traditional strawberry and mint ice cream flavors are reflected in this delightful blend of strawberry pink and mint green. For a more pronounced, multi-tonal look, you may apply the colors in portions or blend them together for a seamless gradient.
Lavender & vanilla: A soothing combination of soft purple and off-white tones, perfect for a dreamy, subtle look.
Peach & lemonade: A refreshing combination of pastel peach and yellow tones, reminiscent of fruity sorbet flavors.
Cotton candy blues & pinks: A whimsical mix of pastel pinks and blues for an ethereal, cotton candy-inspired vibe.
It’s important to consider your skin tone and personal preferences when selecting your colors. You can also experiment with different techniques like balayage, ombré, or dip-dye to customize the effect.
3. Putting the color on.
The process is essential to getting a seamless, blended appearance, whether you're doing it at home or at a salon. Use premium semi-permanent colors in pastel tones if you're dying your hair at home. Applying the dye part by section, beginning at the roots and working your way down to the tips, will yield the greatest results.
You may use a brush or your hands to blend colors together to produce a gradient effect, making sure that the change between tones is natural and smooth. Make sure you adhere to the dye package's directions and give the colors the suggested length of time to develop.
4. Ice cream hair maintenance.
Because pastel hair colors tend to fade more quickly than darker ones, they need to be maintained on a regular basis. It is essential to maintain the fresh appearance of your ice cream hair:
To prevent the color from being removed, wash your hair using sulfate-free, color-safe shampoos.
To maintain the health and hydration of your hair, use a deep conditioning treatment.
The color may fade more rapidly if you use too much heat styling.
Depending on how quickly your hair grows and how much the color fades over time, touch up your roots and color as necessary.
5. Keeping your hair safe while doing it.
Taking proper care of your hair during the lightening and coloring process is crucial since these process might cause damage. To maintain the strength and hydration of your hair, use leave-in treatments, oils, and nourishing hair masks. In addition to preventing split ends, regular haircuts may maintain the health of your hair.
IV. For teenagers, ice cream hair is a playful and enjoyable trend.
More than simply a hairstyle, ice cream hair is a way for young people to express themselves, celebrate color, and pay homage to their imaginative and joyful nature. Whether pastel colors appeal to you because of their soothing appearance or you just want to try something new and adventurous, ice cream hair provides a novel and thrilling method to try your appearance.
Teenagers everywhere are keen to follow the trend as ice cream hair has swiftly gone viral due to the popularity of TikTok and social media celebrities displaying their vibrant hair. The variety, personalization possibilities, and capacity to create a unique hairdo that expresses your individuality are what make ice cream hair so appealing.
Therefore, why not try ice cream hair if you want to add a little sweetness to your appearance? You'll be wearing the pastel hair of your dreams in no time if you have the correct tools, colors, and a little bit of imagination!

The Hidden Gems of Donchian Channels: Trading Secrets for the 15-Minute Timeframe Ever heard of Donchian Channels but dismissed them as old-fashioned? Well, it's time to give this classic a makeover — like taking those dusty VHS tapes and turning them into a viral TikTok trend. The Donchian Channel paired with the 15-Minute Timeframe can be the underdog combo that your trading game has been waiting for. Let's dig into some insider tips and lesser-known secrets that will turn this forgotten technique into your new secret weapon. Trust me, it’ll be like discovering that box of rare Pokemon cards in your attic—once you see the potential, you won't be able to put it away. Breaking It Down: The Donchian Channel in a Nutshell For those who need a refresher, Donchian Channels are like the original "keep it simple, smarty" trading strategy. Imagine a trend-following tool that smooths things out for you, kind of like a GPS that recalculates without making you feel dumb for missing that left turn. Essentially, Donchian Channels are plotted using the highest high and lowest low of the last 'n' periods—typically 20. When you use it on the 15-minute timeframe, you're basically getting a turbo-charged GPS, recalculating every 15 minutes to find those profitable routes that everyone else is ignoring. It highlights breakout zones, which is super handy if you know what to do with them. But let’s be honest: if you just stare at the chart hoping for magic, it's not going to happen. So here’s where the fun—and the money—begins. Why Donchian Channels on 15 Minutes? Why 15 minutes? You might be wondering if that’s like trying to cook a Thanksgiving turkey in a microwave. And I get it—15 minutes doesn’t seem like much when you're used to grand, sweeping daily movements. But therein lies the beauty: it’s about finding micro-trends within the macro movements. Think of it like sniping for profits while others are busy carpet-bombing the whole map. The Hidden Formula Only Experts Use Donchian Channels on a 15-minute timeframe actually help reveal micro breakouts, which can be quite lucrative if you’re patient enough. Here’s a sneaky tip—use 50-period Moving Averages alongside Donchian Channels. It’s like mixing peanut butter with jelly: individually decent, but put together—chef's kiss. When price action breaches the upper Donchian Band, confirm it with the price being above the 50-period MA. This synergy gives you much-needed clarity on whether it’s a legitimate breakout or just the market trying to mess with your emotions (we all know how that feels). And the best part? You can do this without staring at the screen for hours. Set alerts to keep you in the know, and let automation do the boring stuff. It's like hiring a butler for your trades—alerts bring you the opportunities, and you simply decide whether to sign off on them or not. How to Predict Market Moves with Precision Now, let’s move beyond the basics. Once you've established that a breakout above the Donchian Channel is legitimate (validated by the 50-period MA), it’s time to get serious. Think about scaling in, which is something many traders shy away from because they’re afraid to commit. But scaling in doesn’t mean buying like you just won the lottery; it’s about adding small positions as confirmation increases. It’s like dipping your toes in before doing a cannonball—a gradual build-up instead of a sudden splash. Another underground trick: watch the Volume Spike. This little beast can either confirm your 15-minute timeframe breakout or tell you to back off. Typically, if volume spikes right after a breakout, it’s a good sign that others see what you see—meaning, there’s fuel behind the move. Picture it like this: would you want to be the only one dancing at a wedding? Probably not. You need volume, aka other traders, to back up that breakout. Avoiding the Classic Mistake (And How You Can Too) The most common mistake traders make here is treating every Donchian Channel breach like an "all-in" opportunity. It’s not a game of poker where you suddenly go all chips in because you think you have a good hand. Imagine it more like dating—take it slow, learn about the pattern, see if it’s reliable. Get comfortable with small gains until you understand the rhythm. Also, let’s squash a myth: Not all Donchian Channel breaches are tradable. Sometimes, the breakout is just a false alarm—a stray cat tripping the motion sensor if you will. That’s why you need multiple confirmations. Consider adding an indicator like RSI (Relative Strength Index) to determine if the price is overbought or oversold. If RSI is overbought, take a chill pill and wait. No need to chase trades that’ll leave you looking like you just bought a pair of crocs at full price—and realized your mistake later. Underground Techniques for Maximum Gains If you really want to dig deep into the inner workings of the market, here's something not many will tell you: track institutional movements on the 15-minute timeframe using Order Flow Analysis. Yes, it sounds daunting—like reading hieroglyphics at first—but with some practice, you’ll start seeing where the big money is moving. Another hack is to use multi-timeframe analysis. Just because you're executing trades based on the 15-minute timeframe doesn’t mean you can’t peek at the 1-hour or daily charts to get some context. It's like zooming in on a detail of a Renaissance painting—sure, that tiny brushstroke matters, but zooming out gives you the whole story. Personal Anecdote: My Donchian Dance on the 15-Minute Timeframe I remember the first time I tried Donchian Channels on a 15-minute chart. I approached it like that one friend we all have who insists they’re going to "get fit" every January—overconfident, clueless, and with no plan whatsoever. I hit the buy button like I was trying to win an eBay auction, without understanding the fundamentals. Spoiler: I got burned. Fast forward to today—after fine-tuning my approach, integrating confirmations, and scaling positions slowly—Donchian Channels have turned into that reliable best friend that always has your back. Sure, they can be unpredictable at times, but learning their nuances has helped me take advantage of breakout opportunities without risking my shirt. Wrap Up: Turning Theory into Profit So, what's the takeaway here? Donchian Channels on the 15-minute timeframe are not some dusty, old-school indicator to be ignored. When combined with other technical indicators like moving averages, RSI, and volume analysis, they become a real powerhouse for day trading. Remember: - Look for the Upper Band Breakouts confirmed with moving averages. - Watch Volume like a hawk—you’re not a lone wolf in this trade. - Scale In as confirmation builds—gradually dive deeper. - Use multi-timeframe analysis to understand the bigger picture. - Track Order Flow to see where the big money is heading. Take these tactics, put them into practice, and maybe—just maybe—you’ll feel like you found that hidden trading gem. At the end of the day, it's all about learning, adapting, and growing—preferably with some humor and a smile along the way. —————– Image Credits: Cover image at the top is AI-generated Read the full article
