quando o seu schedule da manhã finalmente termina, você e o seu manager seguem para a reunião misteriosa e acaba por descobri que ia participar da nova temporada de we got married depois de anos de hiatus do programa. não fica animada, tá mais para apreensiva, já tinha se envolvido em polêmicas de namoro no passado e não queria passar por isso de novo mas seu manager e o diretor do programa te convencem a participar.

a semana seguinte serviu para descobrir quem seria seu pair, foi a primeira coisa que gravaram para o programa. uma pequena "caça ao tesouro" mas ao invés de tesouro vocês descobriram com quem iam passar três meses casados. ficou um pouco chocada quando viu heeseung, tipo, não parecia real. se sentia até um pouco tonta, ele era impressionante. já ele abriu um sorriso enorme, feliz com quem teria que ficar grudado a partir de agora. você era a sunbae dele, e em diversas vezes ele te citou como uma inspiração então ficou muito feliz com isso. se cumprimentam um tanto acanhados, rindo da própria vergonha, é tudo meio estranho.a primeira coisa que fazem agora que estão juntos é uma sessão de q&a para se conhecerem melhor, discutem suas cores favoritas, músicas e até tem um momento mais nerd quando falam de filmes de super-heróis.

a semana seguinte já é o casamento — que é falso, mas ele prefere fingir que é real. quando você aparece pela porta daquele lugar enorme onde estão fazendo a cerimônia ele acha que vai chorar — como se realmente estivesse casando com a mulher da sua vida —, sorri como um bolo e assim que você chega ao lado dele, ele não vai parar de te elogiar. antes mesmo de se mudarem para o apartamento que teriam que viver pelo próximo trimestre vão para uma pequena viagem pela Itália, visitam pontos turísticos e algumas cidades do interior e como era verão europeu terminaram a viagem em uma cidadezinha praiana. ele te elogia bastante durante a viagem, sempre te deixando envergonhada com ele todo envolvido mesmo nesse lance de "marido e mulher".

quando voltaram para a coreia já estavam um tanto mais próximos, ele ficou mais grudento. com uma cama só no quarto que teria que dividir, se acostumou com ele te abraçando pela madrugada, sussurrando o quanto você cheira bem, também acostumou com os abraços repentinos quando estavam na cozinha — geralmente ele te abraçava por trás, te chamando para ir dormir.

uma das atividades que mais gostaram de fazer como um casal foram os piqueniques, geralmente eram só vocês dois no quintal da casinha que estavam ficando durante os três meses de programa, depois fizeram um com os companheiros de grupo.

sua parte favorita do programa foi a sessão de fotos do pré-wedding, você estava com um vestido esvoaçante e curto, não era branco e sim off-white, ele estava com um terno mais "casual", azul royal. heeseung não conseguiu parar de olhar para você, os fãs fizeram até um compilado de todas as vezes que ele te chamou de "bonita" nesse episódio.

o momento que ele mais gostou no programa não foi um específico, mas a experiência toda, principalmente a parte de morar com você. ele amou decorar a casinha com você, amou poder ter momentos em família — com você, os membros do enhypen e as membros do seu grupo —, os momentos antes dos dois caírem no sono. tudo isso foi muito especial para ele.

(Prologue)

-summary- Y/N is the 5th member of Aespa and is going to be collaborating with Le Sserafim’s Yunjin and Chaewon for a special stage. She is excited to be able to perform with two people she's been looking forward to meeting but also has the worst case of gay panic ever so when she's around two pretty women she can't help but develop a little crush on both of them.

Hearing the rushed footsteps of someone approaching mine and Ningning’s room wasn’t the first thing I was expecting when I woke up on my day off today. The door to the room burst open and there is our leader herself standing there. “Karina” I lifted my head up and look at the said girl standing in the doorway. “Have you read the group chat” she looks at me with the biggest grin on her face.

“With the way you are smiling at me I don’t know if I wanna look” I gave her a look of skepticism. “It’s not that bad you’re gonna like it I think” she just keeps giving me the biggest grin I have ever seen in my life. “Okay I’ll look but stop giving me that face you look like that one meme of Dreamcatcher Sua sunbaenim as pennywise” her smiles drops and she gives me an offended look as I can hear Giselle laughing from the other room.

She rolled her eyes and left the room as I picked up my phone from the nightstand. I opened it to see thirty unread messages and a missed call from our manager. I called my manager back because I was too lazy and tired to read it the messages in the chat.

“Hello Y/N”

“Yeah hi what is Jimin unnie telling me I should call you back on” I sat up and rubbed my eyes.

“Oh yeah right…we were just talking about a special stage you’re gonna be having at music bank”

“Not again I literally embarrassed myself so fucking hard last time” I groan and sit on the edge of my bed.

“You looked so cute though with your puppy eyes staring at Taeyeon” She gave a small laugh.

“Can you blame me…I had the biggest case of gay face ever I forgot to sing my line and mumbled pretty into my mic for the whole studio to hear” She proceeds to laugh and me while I sit there listening to her.

“Who is it with anyway”

“Le Sserafim’s Chaewon and Yunjin” I hear the names of the two girls I’ll be doing a special stage with and pause.

“Y/N…..Y/N” She calls out my name but I’m too much in shock to even respond. I looked over to the signed album I practically got on my knees and begged for when Jimin unnie and Ningning went on Euncahe’s Star Diary. I remembered watching produce 48 and being the biggest fan of Chaewon and Yunjin.

I got so sad when Yunjin was eliminated. I have a bunch of old IZ*ONE albums and photocards that Giselle always jokes that the only reason I became a kpop idol was to one day meet them.

“Y/N” she practically yells in my ear.

“H-huh…yeah?” I blink out of the daze I was in.

“God you’re so gay…as I was saying you’re gonna be going to hybe next week to meet and figure out what songs to preform and other things like that okay”

“Yup…hear you loud and clear” I’m practically already sweating from nerves.

“Okay” She hangs up the phone and I slowly bring the phone down to my lap. I sat there for a second then grabbed my pillow and proceeded to scream into it. I stopped screaming after a bit and had the biggest shit eating grin of my and face started jumping around.

“Ha Minjeong owes me 10 bucks” Giselle said while scrolling on her phone. “Why” Ningning looks up from her phone to look at Giselle and Jimin on the opposite couch. “Because I bet that Y/N would scream into her pillow and start jumping around and Minjeong said that Y/N would start crying” I looked over at Ningning and she start laughing cause she can hear Y/N yelling.

“It’s not my fault I thought she would cry because remember that one time she started crying when she met Irene Sunbae and thought she was so pretty and called her mommy straight to her face without thinking” Minjeong stated and Ningning started dying on the floor from laughter and I could hear Jimin unnie next to me laughing.

“Y/N is such a homosexual I swear” I laughed to myself and went back on my phone.

-Note- well the first thing that will officially post I’m excited and nervous cause this fic seems like it’s gonna be boring by just the prologue idk if I’m satisfied but yeah let’s see how this goes.

I smile down at my phone at your last message and as soon as I go to respond I end up locking my phone and throwing it on my bed just as Beomgyu walks in.

"Who's got you smiling like that?" he asks, crossing his arms over his chest, watching me with a devious smile. "It's that girl isn't it?!?!" he says, clearly waiting for more details. "She's not just that girl okay, she's my girlfriend" I say, finally feeling comfortable telling someone else about us.

"YEONJUN'S GOT A GIRLFRIEND" Beomgyu chants down the hallway getting everyone's attention. By now all of the guys know about you but I never put a clear label on us so it's nice to finally do so since you finally know who I am. I would've preferred to tell the guys differently but oh well. What could I expect when I decided that it would be a good idea telling him first?

"What? No fair! I want a girlfriend too!" Kai says, happy but also pouting. "Have you talked to the company about this?" Taehyun says, coming out with a no nonsense approach. "Yes I told the company about it. We're doing long distance so there isn't really that high of a chance of getting caught in a scandal so they were fine with it. I've of course just gotta keep it on the low and that won't be an issue for me. Now when it comes to you guys though, I really really need you guys on my side so if you're going to talk about my girlfriend then we really can only do it while we're home. I would prefer we don't talk about it at all but-"

"What's her name?" Soobin asks, taking a softer approach. "Y/n" I say while looking down at the floor trying to hide my smile. "Damn you're whipped" Beomgyu teases and I reach my arm out to wack him but he hides behind Kai leaving him out of reach. "You sure you can trust her?" Taehyun says, still wanting to eer on the side of caution. "More than anything" I say firmly, knowing in my heart that you'll stay faithful and keep us a secret. "Well if you trust her then I trust her" Soobin says, placing a hand on my shoulder. "Thanks" I say giving him a soft smile. 

"Can we see a picture of her?" Kai asks, all the guys getting closer to me as I pull out my phone and show them a few pictures of you. "She's so pretty!" Kai says, clearly the one who is the most excited for us out of the four. "And you're sure a girl like that wants to be with a guy like you? She's totally out of your league dude" Beomgyu says with a smirk, never letting a chance at teasing me go to waste. I bring my hand up, fully ready to hit him again but Soobin places a hand on my shoulder making me stop. 

"He's going to keep on teasing you if you keep on giving him reactions like that" giving me a logical explanation as to why I should just ignore him. "Fine" I mumble and go back to showing the other guys a few more pictures when they ask for more. "Where is she from?" Kai the ever curious one asks after I've put my phone away. "She's from somewhere in Europe but she's going to college in the states right now" I say walking toward the living room. 

"Does she live near one of the stops on our tour? Maybe she can come?" Beomgyu says, excited at the though of finally meeting this mystery girl he's had to keep secret for all this time. "She does and she actually already bought tickets before she even knew who I was" I say smiling again at the coincidence. "She's a MOA? That's adorable" Kai gushes. "I like her already" Taehyun chimes in, now warming up to the idea. 

"It's probably not the best idea to see her" Soobin says calling me off to the side while the other three talk amongst themselves. "I know" I pause trying to game plan a bit so I can hopefully convince him in the slightest bit. "We could probably bring her backstage at some point right? Even if it were just for a second" I stop again, taking a deep breath and make sure I sound as sincere as possible, "I just really want to see her". 

I watch as he then takes a second to think about it as well before saying the words that I was hoping he would say. "I'll go talk to the company tomorrow and see if we can work something out". "Thanks man" I say softly and give him a pat on the back in thanks. "Can you take care of them for me?" I say nodding towards the three younger members still talking about you. "Sure, hey" he says making me turn back around as I had started to make my way back to my room. "Just, be careful" he says in earnest and I give him a shallow nod, showing that I'll make sure to keep everyone safe.

Walking into my room I look down at my phone and see that there's a notification from you.

Yeonjun: It was alright, work wasn't too hectic so that was a nice change.

y/n: I'm glad! You've all been preparing for the comeback and the tour and everything so I could only imagine how swamped you've been!

Yeonjun: Yeah, but anyways I want to talk about you

Yeonjun: How was your day?

y/n: It was pretty chill 

y/n: It looks like the universe wanted to take it easy on us

Yeonjun: I guess so...

Yeonjun: I told the guys about us

y/n: Really? How'd it go?

Yeonjun: Surprisingly well

Yeonjun: Some of them were a bit concerned right off the bat but after we started to talk about things a little more they got a bit more excited and they said that you're really pretty after I showed them a few photos

y/n: Aw yay! I'm glad that they aren't giving you too much of a hard time. 

y/n: I'm definitely not as pretty as those idols you guys are with but I'll take the compliment nonetheless :)

Yeonjun: Hey I thought we talked about this

Yeonjun: Just because I work in the idol industry doesn't mean you get to compare yourself to them.

I close out our chat and get ready to finally settle in for the night and I can't seem to wipe the smile off my face, being a reoccurring theme when it comes to you. "Who's got you smiling like that?" Beomgyu teases again. "Get out of my room" I yell while throwing a pillow at his face. "Okay okay I'm going" he laughs. 

"Goodnight lover boy" he says before walking away leaving my door open, leaving me having to get up and close the door behind him. "When am I ever gonna catch a break from this guy" I mumble to myself. "Probably never" he says poking his head out of his room. I groan and shut my door behind me but I hear how he continues to laugh at my reaction even when it finally closes. 

I take a deep breath hoping to slow the onslaught of a headache and lay down, finally getting some rest. "See you soon" I whisper to myself, knowing that no matter what, I'll do everything I my power to finally meet you. Who knew that that simple 'Hey' I sent you would be the thing that would help me change for the better, leading out hearts to intertwine. 

Although our love is digital, I know I'll love you just the same when we meet in the physical.
