As a POC, I love and embrace all parts of who I am in my skin–good and bad. And I love the idols that do the same! Multiple idols have very tan skin but companies will make them use very bright makeup products or filters to hide that away because of the Korean beauty standard.

I'm not Korean, so I can't speak on the beauty standard. But I believe we should embrace idols for their lovely skin tones that are natural to them. Sunwoo is one of these idols that lives in the tan look and the fans love him for it. Every time I share the content TBZ with non-K-pop fans, Sunwoo is always the person who catches their eyes.

Taiju is intense.

Bold and has no filter to say intimate, sensitive and personal stuff out loud.

He's the type to know everything he's going to say to you on his mind, no long speech but directly to the point.

For the first time in a while his uniform looks impeccable. Ironed, delicate, he even smells like some soft drink of flowers.

He try his best to act a calm voice to express his feelings but fails miserably, he is so loud is hard for him to hide it. He holds your hand and you could tell he's shaking but his dead expression holds you from laughing.

Please hold his face on your hands and tell him you'll wait till he feels ready.

He falls in love recklessly, he promises himself to never, never lay a finger on you on a way you wouldn't like or in a way that would hurt you.

If you reject him he would cry.

Not in front of you and not right there, he'll do it at home, tightly wrapped in blankets while the tears runs down his cheeks and he curses at himself.

But he'll be so cocky of you reciprocate his feelings, he'll say some shit like "I already knew it.. But you made me wait too much" or "I had to give the first move, knew you wouldn't".

They do it with so much fear, confusion, anger and passion at the same time. He wants you to feel like he's revealing to you something that has been torturing his soul for so long.

He falls in love but he's confused. He never felt like this befofe, it's so weird, his heart beats so hard inside his chest but that can't be bad..

Not when it's because of you.

Taiju is a big and shy man.

If you reject him he wouldn't even react.

He's in shock.

He can feel the vein popping in his forehead 'cause he's stressed. He's mad, he's hurt but he doesn't feel those things towards you.

His chest hurts but he can't just make you love him, he doesn't want to be friends with you afterwards.. He knows it wouldn't work.

If you accept his feelings he'll faint, yes, faint.

“Whoa—” Felix immediately lifts his coffee cup into his hands when you plop down headfirst on the sofa right next to him, groaning in relief as the soft couch fabric surrounds and engulfs you. You throw your bag onto the floor, squirming your way out of your coat before doing the same with it. Felix giggles, the motions you’re adopting to try and not move from the couch but still get yourself a bit more free looking way too funny to the other person.

Your hair is out of it’s ponytail that Felix had surely seen you leave in, and completely disheveled, as though to prove how tired you truly are. Placing his coffee cup on the center table, he scoots closer to your sprawled out figure on the couch, biting his lip to hold back his laugh, but failing to do so.

“Hello to you too, welcome back!” He says all happy and smiley, which you can clearly hear in his tone. His voice instantly brings you some calm, and you sigh, pulling yourself out of your comfortable position to give Felix what seemed like the most adorable expression your husband had ever seen. Your shoulders are slouched yet they seem stiff, as though you’ve been housing tension in them all day. There’s a pout on your face, directed towards Felix for indirectly making fun of your actions, but he knows it’s not serious.

“Hey, I’ve had a terrible day today. Cut me some slack.”

“I can see that,” Felix points out, reaching out to push away the hair that falls over your face and restricts your eyesight. Your eyes immediately flutter shut, and you lean into his touch, almost landing headfirst in front of Felix’s lap if he hadn’t started giggling again in that awfully serotonin-inducing tone and propped his hand against your forehead.

“There, there. Why don’t you go to our room and sleep for a while, hm? We’ll order takeout today, if that makes you feel better.”

Mm, yes. Pizza. Comfort Food.

“That sounds good…” You smile dizzily, still resting the weight of your head against Felix’s hand. Then, you open your eyes, meeting his soft ones and let yourself admire the beauty of your husband for two seconds. He’s been growing his hair long nowadays, and that long hair is tied into a neat ponytail behind him. His smile is as bright as ever. It’s the kind of smile that makes you want to cry and tear up, but also makes your heart flutter whenever it’s directed at you, or literally anything.

His eyes twinkle when they meet yours, and you let your eyes trail over the freckles littering his skin and nose. He’d still be in his makeup most of the times when you’d get home, so this sight is definitely an invited one. You had to admit — to you, there was nothing more beautiful than Felix’s beauty without any makeup, or filter, or editing. He was best when he was himself, his smiley, cute, adorable self. The only one who could make you feel calm without even doing anything, the only person who could make everything seem better with just the smallest gesture.

The only person who made your heart flutter the way it did right now.

You breath in before leaning closer to him, giving him an expression he knew very well. Even after two years of marriage, he could still never not melt whenever you gave him puppy eyes, or whenever you tried to act cute for him to give you something.

“Okay, I know that look-” Felix shakes his head and laughs heartily, leaning toward you too and squishing your cheeks. 

“Pleaseeeeee~” You drag, scrunching up your face in the way you knew your husband would give in to your advances. “I’m tired and plus you petting my hair whenever I fall asleep on your lap is very soothing.”

“Okay, but only on one condition — you go change and freshen up before that.” Felix points to your formal clothing, and you huff in disapproval. “Not going to lie, you smell- kinda.” He makes that cute scrunchy face that you can’t help but malfunction over, even though he’d just teased you.

“Alright, fine.” You roll your eyes playfully, getting off the couch and slouching your way to your shared room, letting yourself change and wash your face. It does make you feel a lot less tense and relieved, but all in all, more excited to fall asleep on your husband’s lap. His touch is always gentle, like a violin bow sliding off it’s strings to produce gentle, calming music.

When you come back, Felix has already cleaned up the couch, the blanket that was sprawled on it now neatly spread for you to tuck yourself into. Obviously, this wasn’t your first time falling asleep with Felix on the couch — it happened more often than one would think it would, to the point where Felix insisted there always be a pillow and a blanket on the couch. The pillow is placed against his lap, and he’s already finished his coffee up and scrolling through his phone.

When he feels your head softly land against his lap, he smiles to himself, placing his phone away and immediately tangling his fingers into your hair as you pull the blanket on top of you, tucking it under your chin and snuggling yourself all warm and cozy against him.

“There, doesn’t that feel a lot better than slithering around in your work clothes?” Felix asks, placing another hand on your thigh to rub small circles into it. 

“Yeah, it really does.”

When Felix starts running his hands through your hair and drawing soothing patterns on it, your whole body immediately feels like it’s melting into the couch. The warmth from the blanket combined with the magic his hands possessed was enough to push you into a deep slumber, until a question pops up in your brain, and halts your train to slumberland.

“When was the last time you braided my hair?” you ask, any signs of your sleep vanished all of a sudden.

“Huh- that’s sudden.”

“Just something that I remembered.”

“Hmm, I guess it was in the early time of our marriage? I don’t remember doing your hair after that, to be honest.”

“Ooh!” You perk up, turning to meet Felix’s gaze. “Why don’t you do it now? I’ll get the comb! One second-” 

“Wait, wait, wait.” Felix pushes you back onto his lap, smiling brightly at your eagerness. “What happened to hey I’ve had a terrible day and I'm tired?”

“Like I said, your hands in my hair is always soothing, plus, my hair's a mess and braiding it would be better.” You push his hand away, running over to your room to fetch the comb before scurrying back to him. You sit down at the couch in front of Felix, pushing the comb into his hand and facing forward.

Felix smiles fondly at you, his heart pounding at your excitement for something so small. He’s lucky to have such a wife, really. A person who knows him truly, a person who loves him for who he truly is on the inside, and a person who can always find happiness with him in the smallest things.

As for you? You’ve lucky to have such a husband. Such a bright, outgoing, empathetic person. You’ve been really blessed to have someone as pure hearted, kind and lovely as him. You’ve been blessed to be the woman he finds his happiness with.

“Okay…” He runs the comb through your hair, and owing to its effect, instantly, your eyes flutter close when he places his hand on top of your head. There was something so exquisite about his touch, it was so soothing. It was like a soft feather running against your skin, leaving goosebumps in its wake but always led you to feel relaxed. 

Once Felix has smoothed down your hair, he begins braiding it, and you're already half asleep at this point. It’s like a warm cocoon of love and pure adoration for each other is surrounding the both of you, lulling you into the blissful intimacy of just being with each other and sharing this comfortable silence.

You can hear Felix’s laugh and it pulls you out of your trance. You then realise that you’re almost close to falling asleep on Felix’s knee — clearly, you were still sleepy regardless of your excitement.

“Y/N, you’re leaning to the side.”

“Didn’t I say your hands were soothing?”

Felix blushes. He still can’t help but feel shy of your reaction to his touch even after so long, especially when you’re so direct and open about it. He ignores the heat rising up to his cheeks, leaning down to press a chaste kiss to your hair and forehead before combing through it again and gathering your hair into a ponytail.

“Okay, just stay straight until the first two plaits, and then you can sleep.”

“Mmmm, I don’t know if I’ll be able to keep myself up for so long though. This feels nice…”

“Y/N, come on!” Felix slaps your shoulder slightly, feeling himself blush even more. Of course, you can’t see him because you’re facing forward, but you can sense the overly chirpy, bright tone he’s speaking in. You’d be the first to know about your husband that he gets very shy when he’s praised for anything.

“Okay, okay fine. But do it quickly.”

Felix hums in reply before running his hands through your hair one more time, gently crossing the sections of hair over each other over and over again. The room is filled with a soft, quiet comfortable silence — one that Felix loves a lot. He wants nothing more than such soft and pretty moments, such lovin moments with his wife.

As he braids, your body leans more and more to his knee, and by the time he’s done, your cheek is pressed cutely against his thigh, your eyes closed shut in slumber. He quickly ties the end with a hair tie, and silently stares at your calm figure snoozing on his knee.

“So cute…” He thinks, not being able to hold back his smile as he lets himself admire your sleeping figure for a quick moment, before mischievously poking your cheek.

You whine at the intrusion, squirming around and you’re almost about to fall asleep again if it isn’t for your husband being a little shit, poking at your cheek again.

“What is it?” You whine louder this time.

“You’re gonna sprain your neck.” Felix says as a matter-of-fact.

“Ugh, okay fine… you’re gonna have to give me more of your ramen for disturbing me.” You pout, lifting yourself up before crawling into the blankets and lying down on Felix’s lap again.

“Hey! Who’s the one who ignored their sleep and got their poor husband to braid their hair?”

“You say that like you weren’t just blushing two minutes ago, sunshine.”

Felix has no words for that, and ends up stuttering. You giggle in victory, tucking yourself into the blanket once again before fluttering your eyes close. You bask in the calmness of the surroundings, letting yourself revel in the feeling of warmth that seeps through you.

Except, one thing’s missing.

“Hey!” You call, snapping your husband out of his admiring gaze. He doesn’t know when he got so engrossed into admiring your beauty, but nonetheless, he can’t stop himself from feeling warm internally when you pout once again. 

“Your hands.” You rub your head against where it’s rested against his thigh, a frown on your face due to the lack of, to quote you, soothingness.

So cute, Felix thinks again in awe, tangling his fingers into your hair before finally, finally watching you drift off to sleep peacefully.

he breaks many stereotypes and by breaking stereotypes i don't mean applying bold makeup or dressing in a ' feminine ' clothes for aesthetic purposes like I've seen many boy groups does. I mean they can do whatever but you know there's a difference between portraying your real self vs doing it for aesthetic, appeal and looks.

He does makeup or dress feminine not only for just aesthetic , he is also showing us a part of himself. He's the same one who boldly asked men this men that what heck is men?

he's the one who started the gifting culture in group when rest members thought they are men and real men don't buy gifts for each other.

he's the one who said now he doesn't want to pretend anything and can just be himself and cried while saying it ( don't say it doesn't meant anything to park jimin if he's crying thinking about the presentation difficulties he faced at beginning and how it wasn't easy for him to accept and love himself , he said hurry up fast and be yourself , you will learn a lot of things to his past self )

His parents also deserves a huge respect for raising this gem of a person. Contemporary is generally not a dance style among male , busan men considers themselves as the Real strong men. Among idols there's only very few Contemporary trained dancer , most of them will be hip hop or street style.

Still they sent their son to Contemporary dance school coz that's what he wanted and wished to do. They cultivated a gifting and giving others habit in him ( he have told his father used to take him and his friends to small picnics and trucking ).

He's the most beautiful soul I've seen and deserves all the love.

LYN: I just wanted to say- and I don’t mean anything else by it, but the truth is- - staff comes by, so he asks them for a hat bc his hair is looking flat LYN: -I’ve only just started out as an actor. The truth is, Heroes is only my fourth drama. My first drama was Hot-Blooded Youth, and honestly it wasn’t the most ideal. From a broadcast perspective it wasn’t very optimistic. Of course, my fans have probably watched it and enjoyed my role in it. My second drama to broadcast was Ultimate Note, where I played Hei Xiazi. That was only my second role and honestly at the time I still didn’t know how to act yet. I have to thank the crew and other fantastic actors for their amazing performance- they made me look decent. A group of people quite like this role of mine very much. My third drama was The Long Ballad, where I played Hao Du. I have to thank this drama and character, because it’s the one that really made a lot of people start to like me and become my fan. So, my fourth drama is Heroes, but it’s also only my second guzhuang drama. I really don’t have any of the “acting prowess” you all are going on about. My friends, please don’t go out and tell people that my acting is peak and that my gaze is incomparable. Don’t do that- my eyes are so small, what sort of “gaze” can I give you? I just have poor vision- my eyes are so small I can’t see everything. LYN: This is only my fourth drama- from an overall count it’s a lot- already my fourth. But from another perspective I’ve only ever acted as supporting roles with very little lines and no other training. I can only say that I really like the role of Bai Choufei, and that I’ve put in all of my effort to complete him. As for how he turns out in the drama (on screen), I’m sure everyone has their own opinions. I just don’t want anyone to go around complimenting my acting skills, because I really don’t have any. At the time I was only fumbling my way through filming a guzhuang drama. I hope you can be more tolerable- of course, this applies only to my fans. Passersby don’t need to tolerate me. If you are a passerby or a viewer and you are unsatisfied with my acting, you can curse at me as much as you want. I think it’s normal. First of all, you’re not my fan so you don’t need to tolerate me or save me any face- this is very normal. If you are just passing through and think my acting sucks, you can curse at me if you want to. No one is watching a drama and thinking, “LYN is just a singer, he probably just started out acting, so we should be more lenient towards him.” You don’t need to be. LYN: From the moment you decided on becoming an actor, you came prepared to perform to the best of your ability. If you don’t know how to act, learn first and then come back. People shouldn’t just tolerate/be lenient towards you. I think this is the normal way of things.  C: Fans can’t curse at you then? LYN: Oh, we’re going there are we? I said passersby could curse at me and someone said, “I’m your fan, can’t I curse at you?” Ehm.. what a sharp question... now we’re talking about morals. A question about the cultivation of my career.... As a fan, can you see me acting poorly and curse at me...? Uh... Try not to, please? It’s enough that passersby are cursing at me, if my fans curse at me too then I will start to ask myself why I even started/wanted to act in the first place. I still need to receive some sort of acknowledgement from you! You have to be on my side! D: If my fans curse at me...??? Am I popular or not?! LYN: Don’t just see my old age, I’m still a soft-hearted person!! It should be that the older you get the more you are able to endure... I can handle outsiders yelling at me, but if- for example- my MOM looks down on me?? I’d be done for. I would cry myself to death. Don’t compliment me, but also try your best not to curse me. I’m begging you. LYN: Are you perverted? You’re my fan, but you also want to curse at me?? Are we pulling a “恨鐵不成鋼”? ** (lit. ‘hate iron for not becoming steel’; meaning: to feel resentment towards someone for failing to meet expectations) C: Can passersby compliment you? LYN; Yes, of course they can~~ People are all the same- no matter how mature or amazing you are, people will always like it when others praise them. Trust me on this one. Even if the praise is fake, they will be happy all the same. Perhaps the happiness is not THAT much, but at the very least they won’t be angry. People are all the same- they like to hear compliments. But at the same time, you have to be able to accept criticism. I will accept most compliments (from passersby, not fans) but as for the criticism (from fans, not passersby) Uh.. I hope there would be less.  If you really can’t handle it though, then that’s fine too. Curse if you need to.

C: How come your stream is different from everyone else’s? LYN: ISN’T IT?? :D When other people stream normally, I feel the need to be different from them. That includes equipment and environment. I want you to be able to tell I’m a pro at this with just one look. 

C: Ning-ge, you said that fans shouldn’t compliment you too much. How’s this? I’ll stop being your fan. In order to compliment you, I will leave the fandom. From now on we are only strangers passing on the street. LYN: There’s no need for that. If it were a choice between one compliment and one die-hard fan, I will choose my fan. 

LYN: At this point, I want to talk to everyone about our director. Director Li Muge. He’s pretty sad- everyone’s been calling him out and provoking him. I feel bad for him; he really doesn’t have it easy. I know that people may ridicule me, ZSX, YCY, or even our director and the drama, but I believe they don’t do it out of ill-will. I’m sure it was a spur of the moment thing. It’s pretty distressing. But what I wanted to share was my thoughts about working with him. From the moment I stepped foot onto the set- I got the feeling I’ve never met a director like him. Why? Usually before filming even starts all the actors have to go through some sort of boot-camp- like for flexibility, for example. This drama has a lot of fight scenes, so we needed to train to become more flexible (so we don’t hurt ourselves). I’ve never met another director, who also comes to these trainings. Usually it’s the stunt choreographers who take over the fight scenes and such; since he was there too, I thought he was a very serious director. At the time, I didn’t understand, though. I was thinking, “We’re over here training, what are you- the director- here for?? Do you have nothing else to do?” LYN: Later we got into the script-reading. The way I saw him, I thought that he had a unique vision of the drama and of the source novel. I could feel that, as an actor. He’s read the novel so during the course of the reading he had a unique understanding of the thoughts and feelings of each of the characters- he understood all of them thoroughly. He didn’t just understand the characters from the perspective of the drama script; all of his reasoning could be connected back to the novel. I felt that he was a true fan of the source. I could tell that he had read the novel when he was little- I mean- had read the novel before. XD While we were shooting you could tell that he had a lot of passion for the project. LYN: This includes what I’ve said before- adding scenes for each of the characters because he got too excited during the course of filming. By “adding scenes” I don’t mean WRITING NEW MATERIAL. Since he’s read the novel, he will take scenes from it and add it into the drama, to better flesh out the character. The whole drama is only 30-something episodes, not even 40. There’s no way he could finish the story of BOOKS worth of content during the course of the drama. I’m sure he had a general outline of what we needed to accomplish, but during the course of filming he would add in more details here and there by taking from the novel. To make the story more abundant. I’ve worked with him once before, but I really think that for Heroes he put a lot of hard work, effort, and passion into it. LYN: I said this in my previous stream, too, but I’ve never seen another director who has control of the whole drama. I’m not saying that splitting into groups for filming is bad- just that this director it too serious about it. Normal drama groups will split into Groups A, B, and C. Group C is normally all of the fight scenes and Groups A and B are for the story. Heroes only had Groups A and B; A was for story and B was for fight scenes. When one group was done shooting he would immediately switch gears and direct for the other. As actors we were confused by it at the start, but the longer we worked together the more we understood his methods.

Even after shooting has finished we keep up contact with him. He even recommended me for some roles for dramas he was shooting, but I had told him I already signed with someone else. Calling It As She Sees It

After some drinking, Dad got suckered by his cousins into promising to show up at the next family event while crossdressing. And unfortunately, there was video evidence, so he couldn’t get out of it. Now, Dad’s essentially the stereotypical East Asian pretty boy. You know the K-pop boy bands? Dad’s as pretty as those guys, so there was quite a bit of enthusiasm over how Dad would look in a dress. A few weeks later, during Chinese New Year, my granduncle throws another family party. I’m waiting downstairs with Mom while Grandma helps Dad get ready. And finally, Dad comes down the stairs wearing a wig, makeup, and a really nice dress. I am a tiny six-year-old girl at the time, so I essentially have no filter. My reaction to seeing Dad? Me: *Starry-eyed awe* “Daddy! You’re prettier than Mommy!” Mom never forgave me for that. It was true, of course, but that was still the last day I was my mother’s favourite child. If you got to have complete creative control for a photoshoot for Doyoung, what would you choose to do ie concept, makeup,brands, silhouettes, photography styles etc?

This is a pretty interesting question. I'm not sure I'm knowledgeable enough to answer it properly (for starters, I don't know brands), so I will go with personal taste.

What would be desireable:

1) Something we haven't seen before,

2) Something that stands out in k-pop,

3) Something that leaves an aftereffect, is easily memorable,

4) A pictorial that is eye-catching/enchanting even for non-NCT/non-k-pop fans.

Doyoung is an idol, so there are a lot of cute, fluffy, sunny, gentle mood photographs (pictures for NCT yearly fanbooks, NR ads and such) as well as simple visual glamour (most recent NCT concepts). And most of them are "fake", staged, too clean and edited, pretense of some sort. Therefore, I'd like something raw or "candid", with more natural expressions. Doyoung doesn't get loose before the cameras, he is posing and he repeats the same angles and poses.

To explain the point. Here are a few candid photos.

As for the setting. It could be indoors, it could be outdoors.

I really like this photo. There is a bustle of tourists, Doyoung is shopping himself and isn't posing. We had such photos during Trainee times, when neos weren't professional models yet. I can't find pics to illustrate the type of filters/lighting, but it could be a lot of things. A recording in a studio, walking on a sea shore, oridering in a restaurant. The main point is "slice of life", "frozen memory", "nostalgia" maybe. Artistic pictures that have that "perfectly caught moment" effect.

SFW Alphabet with Phoenix!Joker and Ledger!Joker

Hello, I am not dead. I’m really sorry I haven’t posted in forever, so here’s a pretty long piece for both the clownbois to make up for it for you guys (hopefully,, aghhh). I hope my joker license has not been revoked lol, forgive me lovelies.

The characters will be written separately, but feel free to imagine them together if you wish! I just thought writing them both at once made for an interesting comparison. Phoenix!Joker will be referred to as Arthur, and Ledger!Joker as J. I didn’t do all the alphabet letters because some were repetitive, so here’s the ones I thought would make good headcannons!

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?)

Phoenix!Joker

· Out of the two, Arthur is considerably more affectionate. Being so deprived of love for so long, he doesn’t hesitate to absolutely smother you in affection 24/7, whether that be through kisses, long hugs and warm smiles, or more subtle actions like helping you clean around the house or washing your hair in the bath. He may be a killer clown, but he can’t help dotting on you every time you’re together.

· He also praises you any chance he gets, cooing in your ears how amazing you are and how much you mean to him. He wants you to feel loved in every way possible, both verbally and physically.

· His favorite way of showing affection is making you laugh or cheering you up whenever you’re down. Bad jokes? Cute magic tricks? Running your boss over with a truck? He knows the blues can come and go as they please and they can really affect your whole mood, so he makes sure to always bring some happiness in your life.

Ledger!Joker

· J shows his affection in much more subtle ways, although with time you find yourself picking up on them effortlessly. He may not always vocalize his affection, but there’s no denying his adoration for you.

· He’s very playful with you; tickle fights, wrestling matches, pinching your ass and ruffling your hair are all things you grow accustomed to, and they never fail to make you laugh. If you blush or squeak in response to his antics, J will think it’s the cutest and funniest thing in the world. He’ll only be more encouraged to get that response out of you next time, so good luck to you.

· At night, his displays of affection shift from playful to more protective and domineering. If he’s feeling suddenly possessive of you, he envelops you in a protective hug and pulls you into his chest. His side of the bed will always the one closest to the door in case of trouble.

· His affection is very physical, and will often be shown through actions. He’ll take care of any inconvenience you have- someone bother you, sweetheart? You never see them again.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

Phoenix!Joker

· Arthur will always be there for you, listening to you vent for hours, helping you with any little chore or problem you have and just chilling with you by the television for hours. He’s never had someone to confide in and care for him, and every understanding look and encouraging smile you give him is stored in a special place in his heart.

· Not only is he a great listener for you too, but his advice is never halfhearted. If you have a problem, or something you’re uncertain about, he’ll do his best to help you sort it out until you’re confident again. He’ll be there for you no matter what, because you’ll be there for him too.

Ledger!Joker

· Now, Having J as a friend is extremely chaotic and often leads to him dragging you away to join him on some illegal adventure at 3 in the morning. Are you gonna go rob a bank or go scare the elderly? Who knows, who cares! Just get dressed and join him!

· Philosophical conversations with J are incredible. He never dismisses your ideas or thoughts of the world, encouraging you to always speak your mind, filter free. There’s no need to hide from him, ever.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

Phoenix!Joker

·  When he cuddles you, Arthur feels like all his problems just melt away, and therefor will not let go of your body for hours. It’s therapeutic and heals his soul in a way that his medication never could.

· His little secret is that he loves it when he’s the little spoon, or just generally being cradled by you. Lying on top of your chest just to hear your heartbeat? Absolute heaven.

·  His favorite thing to do is to rub his nose in the crook of your neck and take a big breath, relishing in your scent. It makes him feel so safe and loved he could cry, and during bad days he probably has. Even after he turned into Joker, it would take a bulldozer to rip his grabby hands away from your warm body. Due to how frail and cold his body is, he’s not the epitome of a teddy bear, but the amount of love and comfort that radiate off of him is enough to make for that. It’s nothing a warm blanket can’t fix, and his kisses are the warmest all year round.

Ledger!Joker

· Now, J would never admit it, but he’s just as big of a cuddler as Arthur. I know, I know, controversial! But there is no way you can convince me that this man isn’t an attention seeking, touch starved, hug deprived needy little asshole. Having you wrap your arms around him in the middle of the night, melting into his body with a satisfied sigh, is cocaine to him. Feeling you playfully jump on his back and embrace him from behind makes J want to blow up the city for you. He’ll do it too, don’t tempt him.

· Only difference is, he much more prefers it when you initiate it- seeing you all needy and pouty for him just makes him so giddy. What’s that Y/N? You’re desperate for him? Well, I guess he can hold you in his arms, since he’s so generous...

· Of course, he’s not shy either, and will get his way if need be. If you sit more than 2 inches away from him on the couch you’re instantly pulled onto his lap, and don’t even think about falling asleep without being buried in his side. He wants to feel loved, dammit!

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

Phoenix!Joker

· Arthur’s kisses are soft and dotting, always gentle and loving. He often moans into the kiss and pulls you closer, never getting enough of you. They can be desperate and needy after a long day away from you, but they are generally very sweet and slow.

· He likes to press kisses all over your face and cheeks, liking the way you giggle as he peppers them all over you. He really cant get enough of you, and just the knowledge that he has someone in his life that enjoys being intimate with him leaves Arthur completely awed.

· He’ll take any sort of kiss from you without complaint, but his favorite is when you’re holding him from behind, either in bed or in the bath, and press a gentle one to his back. It makes him feel loved and safe, which he hadn’t felt in a long time.

Ledger!Joker

· When J kisses you, he truly does steal your breath away. All his passion, obsession and need for you are conveyed effortlessly with the way he moves against your mouth and wraps his arms around your body in a protective manner.

· Although oftentimes rough and sensual, his kisses can also be very teasing and playful. He’ll kiss your hand in a romantic manner just to see you blush and shake your head, or leave little hickeys down neck that he likes to kiss again later. He’s also not opposed to licking you, so watch out for that.

· He’ll never admit it, but he loves it when you lean up to kiss his cheek. It’s such a sweet and gentle action, something he’s not accustomed to whatsoever, and it leaves him feeling very warm and protective inside. Especially when your lips brush against his scars- knowing you love them and want to show them affection makes J want to kill for you.

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

Phoenix!Joker

·Arthur loves being there for children, especially the less fortunate ones. Despite how crazy and ruthless Joker can be, he would never even dream of laying a hand on a child.

· There are times when he remembers the joy that his old persona “Carnival” could bring to the sad young faces of all those kids, and it’s enough to make him grimace and reminisce on what he lost.

· He’d never expect to start a family with you while he’s out being criminal menace as a full time job, but there are times where he allows his imagination to run wild, picturing a world with a better life for the both of you, his children playing in the garden while you grow old together.

Ledger!Joker

· J... J is a bully. He doesn’t have the patience whatsoever to deal with children at all, and overall just finds their incessant questions mind-numbing. They’re not even good questions- questions that provoke a philosophical debate or reconsideration of our purpose in the universe for example- just dumb ones that can be googled in a second. Why is the sky blue? Give him a break.

· Now, He wouldn’t go out of his way to single out a child and brutally kill them- he wants his victims to fully understand their doom, and kids don’t have that level of comprehension yet- but if one of those smug little shits happened to be carrying around a balloon, ho ho! It’s getting popped on sight. You know that saying “steeling lollipops from babies?” Yeah, that’s J.

· May not be a big fan of kids, but if you ever need a top quality dead baby joke, he’s your guy!

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

Phoenix!Joker

· Having had so many jobs in his life, Arthur has adapted to waking up in the early morning with ease.

· If he has to go somewhere, he’ll quietly tiptoe around the apartment as he gets ready, careful not wake you up as he gets dressed in his red suit and applies his makeup. He’ll place a gentle kiss to your temple just before he has to leave, staring adoringly at your peaceful face for a few minutes.

· If he has nothing planned, Arthur will just lay in bed until you wake up naturally, enjoying the feeling on your arm body pressed against him.

Ledger!Joker

· J is a drama queen. Being mostly nocturnal, J doesn’t even get out of his REM sleep cycle until like 3 pm at the earliest.

· On those days where he gets woken up at, god forbid, 9 am, he’ll be so groggy and grumpy that not even coffee can save him.

· Alarm wakes him up? That’s now enemy number one. Someone outside being loud? If he had the energy, they’d be dead. And don’t think you’re getting out of bed without him either. He’ll pull you back and wrap all his limbs around you like a snake, snuggling into you so you can’t leave.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

Phoenix!Joker

· Arthur only really gets angry when someone attacks him or tries to make him feel worthless. As Joker, he’s definitely gained quite a bit of confidence, and will start a fight with strangers for the smallest of reasons, but they rarely actually make him angry.

· His patience in general is actually quite remarkable. Most of his schemes and plots take quite a while to plan out, and although he does rely on luck here and there, he puts in quite a few hours at a time to flesh out the details.

· He’ll wait as long as he needs to get what he wants. For example, it’s not like he shy’s away from stalking people, and that takes quite a bit of resilience and patience.

Ledger!Joker

· J is... an emotional man. An open book. He almost never gets angry at you- unless you do something stupid like put yourself in harms way- but everyone else? All it takes is very trivial inconveniences to get him riled up and ready to murder some poor soul on sight.

·  He’ll be patient for a while if he needs to work on some elaborately villainous scheme, but after a few days of obsessing over the schematics he’ll start to get antsy and bored. He’s a man of action, who has the time for all this planning?

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

Phoenix!Joker

· Arthur would do his very best to make dates and anniversaries special. Dinner from your favorite restaurant, long walks by the place you first met, movie nights under a warm fort with intermediate pillow fights; Arthur will always find something that will put a smile on your face.

· He may not have that much money to begin with, but after adapting into his joker persona, a little bit of petty theft is nothing too unacceptable. Especially since he can use the extra cash to treat his lover to the most lavish things.

Ledger!Joker

· J would absolutely spoil you. Unfortunately due to his “job”, he has to leave you for hours or even days at a time to do his business, and he knows you tend to feel lonely in those times. So for him, date night is about you. And he’ll be damned if you don’t get the best present, meal and clown in Gotham all to yourself.

·  You want your favorite snack? He’ll get you a bucket-full.

· You want that new dress you saw at the mall, but can’t afford it? Neither can he! Join him for some late-night theft and he’ll grab the garment just for you.

· You want to spend the whole night tucked away in his arms as he cuddles you for hours? “Come to daddy~”

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

Phoenix!Joker

· Arthur sometimes forgets to eat, a habit that scares you. You don’t mean to nag, but you just can’t help it when you see how thin and weak Arthur becomes after barely eating anything.

· You know he doesn’t do it on purpose, and you never hold it against him, but it does scare you when you see how weak and exhausted he gets. You make sure to always fill the cabinets with snacks and get him to eat dinner whenever he’s home, but who knows if he eats while he’s out causing panic in Gotham.

· The smoking is also a bit of an issue, but you’d rather make sure your clown is well fed before you tackle this other issue.

Ledger!Joker

· J’s teeth can be... very much a turnoff sometimes. Stained to hell with a coffee addiction and lack of hygiene, it made kissing him an experience at first.

· He soon began trying to make himself more dapper and charming just for his little one (yes you) once his need for you grew, but sometimes he just forgets. He knew his hygiene wasn’t his best quality, and he often smelled like dried blood and gasoline, so he makes sure to take a shower when he can. Plus, he figured quite quickly that you like the smell of his cologne…

· You can’t be too mad though, not with a smile so bright and yellow it matches the sun!

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

Phoenix!Joker

· For Arthur, yes. When you finally admitted your feelings for him, he knew you were the first and last person who will ever give his life meaning. He would rip out his lungs if you asked- just if it meant seeing you another day.

· Leaving him would break his soul and put him in such a dark, black space that not even Joker’s red suit would have color there.

· It’s not the healthiest, and he doesn’t want to scare you away, but his obsession and need for you will never die down. He loves you, and you really do make him whole.

Ledger!Joker

· For J, his feelings aren’t that far off from Arthur’s. As his obsession with you grows, so does his adoration and glee. Everyday he finds new quirks and traits of yours that he likes, and everyday he begins to expect them, to crave them, to need them.

· He’ll find out what you like to do, what your favorite things are, what makes you truly and utterly happy, and he’ll store them in his memory to spoil you later.

· J’s love is absolutely obsessive and possessive, like a child with a doll he refuses to share even for a second, but that’s all he knows. He’ll never hurt you or lay his hands on you, but his love is nothing short of mad.

·  Leaving him is not an option. Ever. He’ll do anything to ensure that you stay right in his line of sight, and putting you in a pretty glass cage is not beyond him. You make him happy, and whole- you complete him- so why would he ever throw that away?
