And then the lady SURVIVES the boiling liquid only to see the boy cookie getting eaten and goes absolutely FERAL and decides to fight one of the most powerful beings in the multiverse

Reminder that this was a thing that happened in canon; Oko is being assaulted by a bunch of crows and he tries to escape as a drake and Rowan is like “bitch, I think not” and proceeds to grab his tail — the tail of a flailing, angry, panicking drake — in order to keep him from flying off.

Alela, Cunning Conqueror (2023)

I really like what they did with the faeries in Wilds of Eldraine. The focus on faerie courts, political intrigue and the high fey really speaks to me. :)

(Also, I appreciate Alela's glow-up and her cool dress. Livia Prima did a great job with the artwork on that card.)

Urabrask and Ayara both have big Cat Person energy, but I'm wondering if Urabrask even knows what a cat is. Like, does Ayara ask him, "Honey, can we get a cat?" and then Urabrask just nods. He goes off and forges some sort of creature that is completely adorable/terrifying, but bears 0 resemblance to a cat.

The Magic Touched is someone who was intrinsically transformed by fae magic, maybe being revived by the fae, maybe cursed in some way or another thing, the sky is the limit with the faeries.
