Three of Staffs

A Tarot a day! Today we're starting off with something a bit simple but positive! Three of Staffs!

It represents the transformation of dreams into concrete plans and preparation for action. Not only are you ready but you're also looking forward to the obstacle youre about to face and dedicated to the persuit as well.

This is the start of a new daily upload. I'll be drawing a random card every day from a tarot deck that I will then recreate in my own style. At the end of the deck I will be splitting these cards into a 21 Deck and a Full Deck and will be selling them!

I am still doing Commissions and any art work that isn't commissioned I am also selling at reduced prices. The twenty-ninth card of the Tarot is associated with the middle ten degrees of Aries- Sun in Aries. It’s joyful energy, the feeling of desires manifesting into material reality from will, positive thoughts and decisions. There is a blend of youthfulness and maturity. It’s a card of visionary spirit, the shaping and creating of one’s reality. It can be inspired sharing, the muse, contagious social excitement and quickening. It may be hope, faith, warmth and light spread in local community. This could be through commerce, service, travel, mobility, speaking, the arts, teaching or spiritual groups.

Goldenrod can symbolize encouragement, growth, endurance, caution, support in loss, and good luck. It’s linked to Venus (warm + moist/kidneys, throat, skin and hair). Its Latin name is Solidago, which means “to make whole or heal.” It’s anti-inflammatory and high in antioxidants. It’s a diuretic, can improve urinary health and prevent kidney stones. It may help stop the growth of fungus, harmful yeast and bacteria like candida.

When I first looked at this card I didn't see the strength that the card represents. I saw yearning and longing. I saw pain and loneliness. Then, I put this card in context of the whole week. What have I been doing this week? I have been doing larger readings for myself. Using the cards as a deep and complicated part of my shadow work. And we will talk about that later, but for now... just know that I am doing the daily pull as usual and then following that up with a larger more structured spread. These spreads have brought to light something that is missing from my life and that is >>>> THE DREAM. (Again, we will get into that in the future). This card is just the poke and the prod to remind me that we can't really go through life without something to dream about. Even if it is ridiculous and unattainable. Humans are dreamers. It is a big part of what makes us human. When we don't have that... if not north star, at least a buoy to guide us in the sea of human-ness, we are just floating. I have been just floating. This card wants me to find my passions again.
