Hmm, she didn't feature on many songs, but I've enjoyed the ones she did- "Two is Better than One" is a fave too. I was watching the mv "Highway Don't Care" she did w/ Tim McGraw & Keith Urban- interesting that in video that their reflections on broken mirror are featured- reminded me how she used it in Style mv later. I like listening to The Town by Niall Horan with it (Highway theme, lol).

Speaking of McGraw, TS was the 1st client for her Indie label- but big names joined afterward- Tim Mcgraw, Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire, Rascal Flatts, Lady A, etc. By '15 SB bought out an investor & owned 90%* - silent partner Toby Keith** in '05 had bought 10% share for $400k (one of the richest country singers- a self-made businessman). TK had also started a separate label- but it didn't do as well. According to Buzzfeed, early on ('05?), TS's father bought a 3% stake in the company for a reported $300k. (Not sure how shares were split by the time the company was sold).

Regarding re-recordings- others tried like Def Leppard in '11 (dispute with UMG^^) & Prince (who had 17 records)- but I heard it just made the originals more valuable. So for some it was a mix opinion if TS should bother with the cost or effort.

"They taste disgusting."

Jimin huffs offended. "How dare you?"

"I'm just trying to protect our poor costumers from your weird creations."

"Mint chocolate donuts are not weird?! The people who don't like mint chocolate are the weird ones."

You watch Jimin place the nauseating donuts on the display, right next to some simple but very tasty looking dark chocolate donuts, decorated with cute sprinkles. Having the mint chocolate donuts next to them doesn't give them enough justice.

"I mean, they don't even look delicious with that ugly green mint glaze."

He stills for a second, the donut hanging in the air as he turns to you, indignation radiating off his body.

"Excuse you, but I've spent quite some time getting that glaze on these donuts and making them look perfect."

You giggle. "I'm sorry. I'm not doubting your glazing techniques, it's just that - the colour does not look appealing at all."

"This is a hate crime," Jimin mumbles under his breath.

You're chuckling on your way to the cash register when you see two elderly women appear.

"Good morning, how can I help you?" you beam.

"Good morning, dear. We just had a quick question," one of them says.

"Oh, sure."

"Now, I don't want to sound too nosy, but we've noticed something recently," she explains.

You raise your brows in curiosity, leaning a little closer because she started talking quieter, like she's about to tell you about the secret of the universe or something.

"The young, handsome looking man with the little baby girl hasn't been visiting anymore. We were curious to know if there was a reason why he no longer came by?"

Oh.

Well, that's certainly not what you had expected them to ask you.

A little baffled you answer, "Uh - he's, he's busy. That's why he hasn't been stopping by. Just, has a lot of work to do."

The granny nods. "What a pity. It sounds like he has a lot on his plate. Do you know how he is doing? Is he feeling fine? Healthy?"

"Yeah! He is doing good! He's perfectly fine and healthy."

"That's good to hear. We were just a little concerned about him because we haven't been seeing him around for a while." Both of them grant you a wide smile. "But now we know that nothing bad has happened," she continues. "And you as his girlfriend know best, don't you?"

If you had a drink, you'd be coughing it up by now.

"Jihye," the other woman, who had been quiet for the whole time, scolds her friend in a stern tone. "She is obviously with the handsome barista," she says, pointing her chin to the back.

You look over at Jimin, who's now away from the monster donuts he has created and standing in front of the coffee machine, waiting for the cup to get filled.

Turning back to them you clear your throat and state, "I don't have a boyfriend."

They both look like they didn't expect that answer and seem to be waiting for you to laugh and tell them that it was a joke and which one of them is your boyfriend.

They just smile politely after there's no further explanation from you.

Shortly after that, they leave the coffee shop.

They're cute, you think. Maybe a little - okay, probably more than a stranger should be - nosy. But it is kinda sweet to know that they've noticed Jungkook's absence.

You don't wait for an answer and slide your phone in your back pocket. Jungkook has been kinda bad at replying fast these days.

You find Jimin in the back room of the shop.

"Wanna know something?" you ask, leaning against the wall with a little smile playing on your lips.

Jimin turns to you. "What's up?"

"This granny just assumed that you and I were a couple."

Jimin chuckles. "You mean the two you were talking to earlier?"

You nod. "Yeah, and the other one thought I was Jungkook's girlfriend!"

Jimin tilts his head in confusion. "Is...is Jungkook here?"

"No, they were talking about him cause they wanted to know why he has been absent for a while."

"They noticed?"

"I mean, hot guy with a cute baby is a sight that I'd notice being gone as well," you shrug.

"What did you tell them?" he inquires, ignoring your words.

"Said that I have not boyfriend." You feel your phone vibrating, so you immediately pull it out but it's just a Instagram notification. "You know, sometimes I feel like Jungkook is being kinda absent because I was too harsh to him when we had our talk. Maybe that's why he's wary about asking me to look after Nabi? Because I was too mean?"

You don't know why you're suddenly talking about this, but you feel comfortable around Jimin.

"From what you told me, you had every right to be upset, y/n."

"But I was pretty though on him," you admit.

Jimin comes closer, taking your hands in his. "I don't know why he's acting all weird lately, but I'm sure he has his reasons and you shouldn't think too much about it in that pretty head of yours.

You sigh. "I guess you're right."

"Wait here for a sec," Jimin suddenly says. "I've got something for you."

Jimin leaves you for a moment and when he's back he's holding a donut.

Your squint your eyes, looking for a flaw.

"Don't worry, it has a vanilla glaze and cookie crumbs on it." He holds it out to you. "Made it for you."

"Thank you." You happily take a bite, moaning softly when you taste the sweet combination of the cookie crumb with the vanilla glaze.

You notice Jimin's stare on your lips after you swallow.

"You've got something on your mouth," he says, his thumb gently brushing over the corner of your mouth.

You like Jimin. He makes you feel good. And right now you'd die to feel his lips on yours. He looks far too good in his white-button down shirt, which fits a little tighter around his biceps, and black apron not to be kissed by you.

His thumb moves to your bottom lip, softly caressing his digit over it.

Jimin continues doing that for a few second until you run out of patience. "Oh my God," you roll your eyes. "Just kiss me."

He smirks and you pull him down by the nape of his neck, clashing your mouth on his. His plush lips always feel so soft and sweet and you could go the whole day kissing him. The way he is moving his mouth against yours makes you nearly drop the donut to the ground.

The kiss is a little messy. You don't know where the sudden need for each other came from, but you couldn't care less as Jimin moves his hands from your hips down to your ass.

A tiny whimper falls from you as Jimin nips on your bottom lip.

"There's no one at the service counter," you mumble between a kiss.

"We have Doyun," Jimin reminds you, now grabbing a handful of your butt with both his hands.

"I think he's outside cleaning the tables."

"Oh, fuck," he groans in annoyance, but he keeps his mouth on yours, moving it in a slow, languid fashion that has your knees weak.

You break the kiss but Jimin leans down one more time, pecking your mouth.

Before he leaves, he asks, "Wanna grab some food later and go to my place?"

You giggle. "Sure."

Another top video from 2021. I sometimes go back-and-forth on whether I like this one even more than the haircut video. Also the second video in a row where Dan is the main focus of the title. It doesn’t even really make sense for this one...this story is mostly about Phil! Giving Dan the promo for all of his things.

The end of May/early June was YWGTTN promo time for Dan and moving time (finally) for them. May 20 was the first time the furniture was set up in the new house. The Lesters also came to visit at the end of May. They officially said they were moving on May 27 and unpacking on May 30 (1, 2), but that could be some delayed posting as they sometimes do.

I’ve heard people complaining that Sylvanas showing her doubts to the cause after Anduin was subjugated is weird and that it should have had this regarding all the people she has killed. Yeah, that’s a little fucked up, but you have to remember that it’s Sylvanas. The prospect of suppressing a persons free will hits far closer to home to her than anything else. Death and war is part of her job, but for so long, the one line she refused to cross was to not subjugate people like Arthas did. She didn’t sign up for that. 

Cuz remember, folks. These characters are people at the end of the day, and very fallible. People can be self serving, hypocritical and downright vile on their own prerogative and not just because and Old God told them to do it. Despite what a lot of characters might say, they are more often driven by personal conflicts rather than moral ones. 

BfA was jam packed with this kind of stuff. Recall that Baine Bloodhoof didn’t rebel against Sylvanas because of those who died at Teldrassil, but because Sylvanas raised Jaina’s brother from the dead and sought to use him as a weapon against his old friend. Baine grumbled before then, but he fell in line up until Sylvanas went after someone he actually liked. 

On the flip side of that, we have Jaina. Someone who was very gung ho about murdering the Horde ever since the destruction of Theramore. To the point where she invaded Zul’dazar and killed their king before they were officially affiliated with the Horde. She is very much on her anti Horde hate boner... up until Baine does a single nice thing for her. After that, the Horde’s compliance in Teldrassil and other crimes didn’t matter to her. Because it couldn’t be Baine’s fault! He did a nice thing! /s

Thrall, meanwhile, was just chilling on Nagrand, not giving a flying fuck about the Horde or how Sylvanas was leading it... up until she sent assassins after him personally. Then it was all about ‘fixing the Horde’ for him. 

Hell, back in Legion, Greymane tried to kill Sylvanas, breaking the truce between the Alliance and Horde, during the fucking Burning Legion invasion, all because he blamed her for Varian’s death. One of the things she absolutely isn’t responsible for. 

That is how it be folks. The cast of Warcraft is a gaggle of flawed individuals who will tend to have personal conflicts over moral ones.

everyone kinda dunks on star wars for Obi-Wan Kenobi choosing "Ben Kenobi" as his secret hiding name, but like??? maybe Kenobi is a super common name in the star wars universe? like, imagine hearing about someone named "Benedict Smith" from a stranger and going "huh, wonder if they're related to that one guy i kinda know, Steve Smith" and then imagine being RIGHT!

also if Darth Vader ever heard about a guy called Ben Kenobi bumming about on Tatooine, he'd probably just be like "well my former master Obi-Wan would be far too intelligent to take up such a flimsy disguise, must just be a coincidence, there are lots of Kenobis". and Obi-Wan KNOWS he'd do this!

I don't understand the controversy around the casting for the new movie of Wicked. Both main roles are great singers with some experience in acting and musicals.

Cynthia Erivo is in her thirties, but so was Idina Menzel when she played Elphaba on stage. I don't know her, but she looks lovely and I can't wait to hear her sing.

Ariana Grande is a fan of the musical, she sang "Popular" before and wasn't there an SNL skit where she tried several different musical genres and she nailed it? And even if she's not like Kristin Chenoweth, where's the problem? She can be her own Glinda. Isn't that what makes different adaptations of musicals so interesting? To see how the new cast will play their own version of their character? I remember the first time I saw Norm Lewis as Javert, I was doubtful (and stupid) but his performance blew me away! There are so many great interpretations of "Mr Cellophane" out there!

The fact that it's a theatrical movie? Come on, the 2007 movie adaptation of Hairspray was the reason I got into musicals in the first place, and the casting was also composed of celebrities (John Travolta anyone? Zac Effron, Michelle Pfeiffer, Christopher Walken and so many others?) It was a Hollywoodesque adaptation compared to the indie vibe of the first one, but that's what hooked me in the world of musicals and if the Wicked movie does the same with new people, bring it on!

Call me innocent or prude, but I never realized there were so many monsterfuckers amateurs out there, holy shit. I looked at the Venom tag and one of the most popular posts has 64000+ notes, that means that even if people both reblog and like it, there are at least 32000 hardcore alien putty/human loser fans out there. I seriously don't know if I should be impressed or scared. 😳

Everyone that says "omg I wish my parents had forced me to become a child star" gets 10 minutes in the time-out corner.

You do not want the life of a child star. Do they make money? Yes, but that becomes their doom. These child stars are overworked to all hell and engage in activities (especially "in character") that are very much unhealthy for them both physically and mentally. Most big children's studios are borderline with child labor laws and some outright break them.

Trigger Warning here for rape, child abuse, eating disorders, violence/gore and substance abuse.

The Toddler-to-Trainwreck pipeline is something very real that happens to most if not all child stars because they sacrifice their childhood to support their family in trying times, or simply because their parents want to make money out of them. In one scene, they're playing and singing and dancing. In the other scene? Their characters are being severely abused, raped, and saying unspeakable things for naturally "shocking" projects. An example is Jennette McCurdy, who before doing her playful iCarly character, was playing one of the most complex (and accurately portrayed) child abuse cases in SVU History: Holly Purcell in S6 E11 "Contagious".

That episode was severely gut-wrenching. She was crying, saying "he touched me!" testifying in court, and you're telling me a child was involved in the creation of that monstrousness? And then only two years later, she'd portray Sam Puckett? What the hell?!

If children are advised against consuming that type of content, do you really think it's any better for them to be involved in its creation? To cry like that and say horrible things take after take after take? It can't be healthy for a child to portray all those things. A child's brain can't separate the real from the fake, and even though there are techniques or whatever, they're still saying those things. And kids know, you might not think they do but they know. Jennette knew what it meant to "have been touched" and she didn't have to.

And don't get me started on the evil kid characters. According to the producers of "Orphan", Isabelle Fuhrman was "playing around" on set, but outright stabbing people? Breaking her own arm? Setting the treehouse on fire? Wearing those clothes as a nine year old? Yeah, I don't think that was "playing".

And the music ones, oh God. Demi Lovato had serious cocaine issues and multiple ODs. All of One Direction had serious mental health issues and two of them had serious (I mean serious) eating disorders. Jennette McCurdy also had an eating disorder. The cast of all DanWarp shows from the early 2010s was abused by Dan himself, either by "showing their feet" on camera or just creepy actions by Dan.

It's a reality that is dangerous and not worth losing your childhood for. So please, be thankful that your parents didn't force you to work like a mid-20s adult when you were 7. Because you may not even make it to your 20s.

i am physically unable to stop watching the montero music video. just... the sexualization, it's something I've wanted to see for men for so god damn long. in that music video lil nas isn't being "a hot guy", he isn't just posing to the camera. he's activelly being sexy and dancing and doing sexy things and talking about those sexy things, just like women have been doing for so long. oh AND it's gay which makes it 10x better.

Another joint video! So soon after the last one! Phil teased it in a member’s post the day before. And he posted a joint selfie with a caption I’m still not over (”just a couple of boys who bought a house together...” 🥺 and Dan’s comment as well) to promote this video and the upcoming Stereo shows. 

0:00 - they both look so good in this video. also I love the boxes background and ‘presenting’ Dan with the fireworks effect

0:26 - king of comedy Phil. and then his immediate look at Dan to see if he made him laugh

0:37 - “I freakin’ did that” I...what was Phil in early 2021. also I had missed Dan’s facial expression reactions so much

0:41 - at least on camera and just from the front, the haircuts don’t look too bad. Dan had posted insta stories earlier in the month about Phil giving him a haircut (1, 2)

0:59 - Dan looks so offended! 😂 I feel like Dan’s curls are a lot more forgiving of mistakes

1:17 - from the texting video, Phil had sent this haircut picture he used here to Dan around this time. I love Phil’s laughter at it by this point

1:50 - this clip is SO interesting to me. it’s obviously from a bit later in filming, because Phil has already had part of his drink. and yet he edited it in here at the start, so it was important to them to include. it is incredibly loud...“we were already locked down with each other”... “big commitment” and the look on Phil’s face. and as I’ve said before, just like every public mention or description of their relationship, Dan is doing all the talking. I just have a lot of thoughts about these few seconds

OK, gonna be completely honest - my favourite character to write omo for is definitely my OC, because I'm completely weak for her. Favourite character to read about is a little more varied - my Yuri On Ice obsession refuses to die, so ANY character from that (please give me more omo of the secondary characters, there's so much good victuuri stuff but I need my faves...), and I also have quite a weakness for Miles Edgeworth from Phoenix Wright!

Peeing outside for the ask game. (MrsLittleleaks)

Ahhhhhh, I love this one! A classic really, and so much to be done with it! The chill character who doesn't care and will just hose down the nearest tree with no shame, the desperate character who has to be persuaded to resort to such an embarrassing thing by a friend or partner, the painfully shy character who spends so long looking for somewhere completely hidden to go that they almost have an accident anyway - actually, why don't more people write that one? Get on it everyone! XD

ALSO the difficulty difference depending on which body parts said character has - being able to pull yourself out and just let go makes peeing outside a LOT more appealing than for the poor character who has to get their clothes out of the splash zone, find somewhere to squat, and hold themselves in this awkward and unnatural position the whole time... Would be a shame if someone's bladder locked up because their body knew they weren't supposed to pee in such a position (although you can actually work around that by having your character sit with their feet flat on the ground, knees spread apart and up - this is considerably easier than squatting *coughcough speaking from experience*) 😳

Aaaaaaanyway, enough rambling! TLDR: peeing outside is very good and full of fun opportunities!

Random omo prompt that decided to make itself known at work today:

So two characters, A and B - they can be anywhere from total strangers to somewhat friends - are both bladdershy. They both go into the bathroom at the same time, but upon realising the other has the same intention as them, they both go into stalls and figure they'll wait the other one out... But now A can't pee until B has left, and B can't pee until A has left, and neither of them know the other is struggling...

Bonus: C (who is extremely NOT shy) then enters the bathroom, goes into the empty stall between them, and has the loudest, most relieving piss of their life. A and B are SUFFERING...

Bonus bonus: A manages to pee quietly while the sound of C relieving themselves is loud enough to cover any noises they might make... But now B is stuck waiting while they have to listen to both A and C flush, wash their hands, and quite possibly waste time talking if they know each other before they'll leave B in privacy...

At what point in the show did you start shipping jiara??

The short answer would be the Midsummers episode, where I saw how they interacted with each other (defending each other, spinny hug...), how they talked about the other one... all that lowkey made me suspect that they could have feelings for each other.

And then came the bathtub scene, Kie's dream and how she looked JJ's way, how different Kie's behavior with each of the boys (Pope and JJ) was at the beginning of season 2, EPISODES 8 AND 10 HELLO, and I knew I was a hardcore jiara shipper.

This is a heads-up, but I’m going to delete/ not pin anymore my masterlist from the front of my blog. Instead, I’ll tag my ao3 account in my bio in case someone wants to read my zoenne fics. I’m so grateful and happy for all the love and support I got when I used to write for zoenne and wtfock, but that ship has sailed and I’ve moved one from that fandom and especially the skamverse. I Need to Feel

Pairing: Fives x fem OC!medic (Brynn - nicknamed “Tiny” cause she SHORT)

This is also in first person POV—not entirely sure how that will play in, but I figured I should let y’all know💕

Background Info: Ok so this happens within a MUCH larger work so a little bit of background: This takes place shortly after the Battle of Lola Sayu, aka The Citadel. The explosion that took Echo is also how Bryn lost her hand. Brynn is trying to cope with the “death” of Echo, and Fives is there for her.

“Shut your damn mouth Fives,” I hiss into the ARC trooper’s mouth, “Stop talking and just fuck me.”

“Brynn…” he responds, breaking away from my desperate hold, “Brynn, you aren’t in your right mind.”

“You have my consent and I’m sober for the first time in days. Just,” I take a deep breath, “let me feel something other than pain.”

           After Lola Sayu, if you were to ask any other member of Torrent, I spiraled. Echo is my first real loss after the clusterfuck that was our defense of Rishi Station. In the end, it was only Echo, Fives, and I. I had no one else, I survived with no one else. So why not seek out a quick distraction with the final person I have closest to me? 

“Please, just one more time for my piece of mind,” Fives grabs my wandering hands from his armor. I am brutally reminded that I can only feel from one of them, my cybernetic fritzing once again as I get any sort of worked up. This Maker-forsaken thing will piss me off to no end. 

“Fives, you are all I have left. Beginning to end, I’ve had you by my side,” My eyes cant downwards, tears beginning to brim over my eyes, as I force the words in a single, desperate breath, “I may not be a whole, complete version of myself, but I need to know that I can still feel something other than pain and loss. Do your favorite medic a favor.”

Driven by desperation, I lock eyes with the ARC trooper in front of me as I push him further into my desk in the medbay. Grasping the back of his neck and bringing him down to meet my lips, I manage to maneuver him to the edge of the desk before further driving my weight into the fully kitted ARC. Fives collapses against the durasteel frame and I follow him down, moving to straddle his thighs without breaking my desperate kiss. Feeling the codpiece on his armor catch the seam of my blacks, I stifle a moan before knocking the contents of my desk—my datapad and a few other bits of flimsi, onto the floor. 

“Gods, Fives please,” I practically beg. The ARC trooper grasps the back of my thighs before flipping us over.

“You want what you want mesh’la,” Fives gives a lopsided grin, “Just promise you won't fall in love with me,” he finishes with a quick wink.

Deft fingers move to the band of my blacks, grasping them before pulling them down over my knees. After my pants hit the floor, Fives makes quick work ridding me of my blacks entirely, leaving me in only my chest binder and my comfortable, regulation underwear. 

“It could be sexier, I know,” I tell him hastily, “But this isn’t supposed to be sexy. Now fuck me within an inch of my life.”

Fives replies with only a grin before he places my thighs over his pauldrons, pressing his face into my aching core. 

“Stars, darlin—you always smell so sweet. I know you taste even better.” Fives barely pulls my underwear off my legs before latching his lips over my clit, roughly tracing his tongue over the bud.

“Fuck, Fives!” I shout as I throw my head back against my desk. I thread my fingers into his curls, moaning at the feeling of his tongue over my folds. 

Fives pulls his lips from my center, sucking so hard an audible pop sounds as he looks me in the eye.

“Don’t act surprised Tiny, you created this.” Fives shoots me another smirk before setting off to remove his armor pieces. I stare at the meticulous routine set before me, marveling at him as inch after inch of tanned skin is exposed to my wandering eyes. I stand back up to the ARC trooper, forcing him to look down at my wide eyes. 

“You’re Force-damned right I did. And will never regret it.” I whisper at him before placing my palms on his chest. Curling my fingers, I lightly drag my nails down his torso as I lower myself onto my knees before him. I feel him shiver under my touch when my hands reach his hip bones.

“Ah ah ah, mesh’la. Tonight is about you,” he stops me from raising his hard cock to my lips. Bringing me back up to my feet, the ARC trooper drags my body closer to his bare chest. I feel Fives’ calloused hands down my arms, reaching to my side to release the concealed zipper of my binder. The fabric drops from my body and Fives continues to inch his warm hands further down my body. 

Rough hands find the soft flesh on the back of my thighs and Fives whispers in my ear, “Jump, sweet thing,” he nips at my neck as he moves to press me against the chilly durasteel wall.
