Suggested SB Obscure Ships for The Shipping Wiki
This is most likely inspired by @spongebob-connoisseur's suggestion of her Favorite Character to be on Sexypedia
Now, for the record, I don't really exactly have my own Fandom Wiki Account (even if I wish I had one) but I would like to suggest some Other Ships from the SpongeBob fandom that haven't been added on to the Shipping Wiki (and are pretty obscured judging by the title of this text), in case if that would bring towards anyone's attention in doing so (depending on the popularity based on Two Sets of Characters' Dynamics that are written either Canon/Fanon).
Here are some of my own Suggestions of some Obscured Ships that I'd like to see be added into the fandom's list of ships (with my own written bios).
1. Slapferatu
The M/M Pairing between Slappy Laszlo and Nosferatu.
Character 1: Nosferatu
Character 2: Slappy Laszlo
Canonical?: Fanon
Status of Relationship?: Master and Servant
Type: Slash
Canon
Their first interaction came in "Squidferatu" when it was confirmed in the episode that Slappy works for Nosferatu in his Castle. When Nosferatu greets Squidward and SpongeBob at his own front door, Slappy then appears from his Boss' legs welcoming the new guests. He even wraps around his Master's neck like a Snake and is even shown kissing his own Hand, pleasing his own Master. During the Dinner Table, Slappy does serve SpongeBob and Squidward their own food (including Mummy Fingers) while they eat with Nosferatu.
Later, when Squidward and SpongeBob are in Bed, Nosferatu and Slappy wish them a Good Night before they click out the lights a few times and leaving them in one of the Mansion's Bedrooms. When Nosferatu scares SpongeBob and Squidward that causes them to wake them up and run straight across the hallway, Slappy immediately slithers down and is about to chomp them down with an Axe but Squidward sprays a Sleepy Gas into Slappy's face, causing him to feel unconscious.
When SpongeBob and Squidward enter Nosferatu's coffin room during the Climax, Slappy's head appears rolling around from downstairs as he picks his head up putting it back on his body, alerting the Duo that they're in his Master's Bedroom and that they might be disturbing his slumber. When Nosferatu wakes up, Slappy assures them that he wanted to return their own mail back and that he only had a Big Lunch, giving Squidward his own Gift back which reveals is Garlic. Nosferatu gags but then laughs as Slappy informs them that he actually likes Garlic (unlike how Vampires are afraid of Garlic in Pop Culture). The Lights in Nosferatu's room then flicker, revealing The Phantom of The Opera, in which they all laugh about it.
In "Slappy Daze", Slappy takes Nosferatu to the Doctor's at Dr. Calimari's Physician. Slappy is advised by the Doctor to return for Two Hours so that his Master can steam his allergies out.
After Two Hours of Slappy visiting The Bikini Bottom, he comes back at the Physician and picks up his Master (along with his own medicine and even Nosferatu receiving a Lollipop). Slappy offers Nosferatu a Flea Collar that he bought for him at the Pet Store. Slappy even teases Nosferatu, applying him as a "Best Friend". Nosferatu carries Slappy on his bike as they go back to the Castle before being eaten by a Moon near them.
In "FUN-Believable", Rube Goldfish takes a tour around the Bikini Bottom, specifically on the Next Stop that is Nosferatu's Mansion where Nosferatu and his Minion are both greeted by Rube. Conditionally, Nosferatu goes into his Half-Bat form and plucks Slappy's head right out as Slappy goes through some Random Hijinks through the Castle from his decapitated head (which eventually Nosferatu picks it up while drinking a "Fizzy Fang" soda drink).
Fanon
The Idea of Slappy and Nosferatu came up not long after when "Squidferatu" first aired showing their actual relationship, but because on how Slappy was one of the Recent New Characters to be added in the Franchise since he first appeared in the Anniversary Special from the Main Show, "SpongeBob's Big Birthday Blowout" and became a recurring character later on (especially in Spin-Offs like "The Patrick Star Show") ever since. Slappy is one of the Character Parodies of a Peter Lorre archetype.
It was confirmed that SpongeBob's Nosferatu is set in an Alternate Timeline to the Original Nosferatu 1922 Movie where he never made it Wisborg and that his coffin was sunk deep in the Ocean, it could've meant that Slappy was there when he first saw him (based on some fan theories about their own first meeting).
Because of the Trope, Master and Henchmen, many fans do fanarts surrounding the Vampire Master and his Fish Servant (either platonic or romantic). Since Nosferatu (Real Name; "Count Orlok") is an Actual Adaptational Film Character of his own Movie from 1922, he is loosely based on Bram Stoker's Character, Dracula, it would at least apply that Slappy would be akin to Renfield from the Original Dracula story, who was also a Butler to his own Vampire Master (Dracula) like how Slappy is to Nosferatu (Orlok). This would also tend to mirror the similarities between The Two Vampires and their own Butlers, but also because on how that the relationship between the dynamic of Nosferatu and Slappy share the Aesthetic to the Classic Horror Genre (most likely directed to the Bram Stoker's Dracula story).
2. SlipSlap
The M/F Pairing between Slappy Laszlo and Slippy
Character 1: Slappy Laszlo
Character 2: Slippy
Canonical?: Canon
Status of Relationship?: Dating
Type: Het
Also Known As: Fish LorreShipping
Canon
The Patrick Star Show
In the prequel spinoff episode, "Mid-Season Finale", Slappy was performing a recitation of a Poem, he holds out what appears to be a Very Rotten Bad smelly Sunflower which he dumps it on that passes his own smell towards his Female Counterpart named "Slippy" (in her actual first appearance). Slappy compliments Slippy's smell in which they walk off the stage together, showing off their own love (which is shown through a Gassy-Shaped Heart).
SpongeBob SquarePants
In "Slappy Daze", during Slappy's Tour-Hour visit in the Bikini Bottom, Slappy goes to the Pet Store and visits his Girlfriend, Slippy (who works there as her own job). They complimented each other as they laugh about it. Slappy orders Slippy some supplies for his Master (Nosferatu) in which Slippy gives her Boyfriend the supplies that Nosferatu needed. The Two were then about to kiss but as Slappy leaves, SpongeBob appears out of nowhere (along with Gary) as Slippy mistakenly kisses Gary for Slappy (Funny Enough, this was meant to be a "Same Voice Actor" Joke since Tom Kenny (the voice of SpongeBob, Gary, and Slappy) and Jill Talley (the Voice of Slippy and Karen) are actually married in Real Life).
Fanon
This Pairing came out right after Slippy's first appearance from one of the Spin-Offs.
Although Slapferatu is one of the Most Common Pairings in the SpongeBob SquarePants Fandom, Slapferatu shippers also support this pairing based on a Polyromantic Pairing between Slappy with his Girlfriend and his Master.
Slippy (like Slappy) is also a Female version of a Peter Lorre Archetype. Although while Slappy is mainly used for Lorre gags like how Slippy is, many Fans of Slappy Laszlo also support the relationship between Slappy and Slippy simply because of the Film Cultural Impact behind Peter Lorre.
3. Polacia
(Credit goes to @missplayer30 for the Artwork that I commissioned)
The Unofficial/Theoretically M/F Pairing between King Poseidon and Salacia.
Character 1: King Poseidon
Character 2: Salacia
Canonical?: Fanon
Status of Relationship?: Unknown
Type: Het
Also Known As: Saladon, Poseialacia, Salaseidon, PoseiSal, SalPosei
Canon
Poseidon first appears in “The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge On The Run” where he is shown to be the Main Antagonist of The Third Film.
Although Salacia is not seen nor does she appear in the Movie as King Poseidon’s wife, aside from a Statue of Mermaid inside of King Poseidon’s Kingdom in his Flamboyant Show regarding if it could be truly her or not.
However, Poseidon is then later reformed at the end of the climax of the film. Although his true appearance remains as an Elderly Merman God, it is unknown rather or not if somewhere that Salacia might be either a Normal Mermaid or a Sea Goddess (since the Third Film is sent in the Timeline as “Kamp Koral”), it is at least unknown if Salacia exists in any continuity of the Main Series or The Alternate Timeline of Kamp Koral.
Oddly enough, in Concept Works behind the Film (despite having a lot of early scrapped different story plotlines behind the movie, especially when it was meant to be entitled “It’s a Wonderful Sponge”), an Concept Art by Michael Defeao does show a Scrapped Mermaid Character for the Mermaid Statue, assuming that Salacia was going to make an actual appearance in the Movie (but would’ve been scrapped due to the Main Focus of King Poseidon being the Third Film’s Main Antagonist).
Fanon
When the Movie First Appeared around in Canada in August 2020 and then later on Netflix in March 2021, King Poseidon was first introduced in the Third Film, presumably as an Alternate Counterpart for King Neptune from the Main Show in the Timeline of “Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years”.
However, it is important to know that outside of the Franchise, in Greco-Roman Mythology, Neptune was the Roman Counterpart of Poseidon (who was Neptune’s own Greek Equivalent). Each of the Greco-Roman Sea Deities had their own consort of wives (Neptune was married to the Roman Sea Goddess, “Salacia” whereas Poseidon was married to the Greek Sea Goddess, “Amphitrite”).
But because based on the Idea of the Greek/Roman Names being “Mixed-Up” or having the Wives between Neptune and Poseidon to be “Swapped” in Any Other Forms of Original Works in terms of using some aspects of Myths/Legends or Folklore, King Neptune is confirmed to be married to his Wife (Queen Amphitrite) since “The Clash of Triton”, but a No Canonical Appearance of a Queen Salacia is confirmed in “Sponge On The Run”, assuming that King Poseidon might still have Salacia for a Wife (even if it is Highly Unknown weather if she Truly Exists or Not in the Universe of SpongeBob SquarePants).
Many Fans do not pay attention to this Pairing giving on how that King Poseidon is highly one of the Most Unpopular Characters in the Fandom. Thus, making this Theoretical Pairing widely unpopular. There are a Few Fans however, who do like the King Poseidon character that do support this Pairing between Poseidon and Salacia (most likely drawn to the Greco-Roman Pantheon Lore or the “Wife-Swap” theory between The Two Sea Kings).
Poseidon is the Main Target of a Character being “Rewritten” in most Fanfictions (most likely being the Ones as Re-Imagination versions of “Sponge on The Run”, either with or without including the segments to Kamp Koral), specially to those who dislike on how his own Character was handled in The Third Sequel, they have him being falling in love with Salacia (or having her being already married to Poseidon in some Rewrite Interpretations of the Third Film fanworks).
Because it is clearly unknown if weather or not if Salacia is will be included in Future Episodes of the Main Show (or any other form of Related SB-Media) or how Poseidon will reappear later on or will be given with a Different Love Interest (who might not be his own Swapped-Wife), Fans tend to portray Salacia as a Polar “Opposite” to Poseidon where she’s been interpreted as a Love Interest to Him. Because of the Trope, “Opposites Attract”, Shippers tend to twist the Relationship between the Two Counterparts of King Neptune and Queen Amphitrite where they have a Similar Relationship to their own Said Counterparts, but still portrayed having a Widely Different Romantic Relationship from Them.
In Most Fanon Works, Salacia is portrayed having a Generous, Kind, and Loyal Personality with a sense of Humility and can be interpreted as a Supporting Ally to the Main Cast. Where she was supposedly meant to be a Sea Queen like Amphitrite, She is often depicted as a “Sea Maiden'' (though this is most likely where in conclusions in most fanfictions of this Pairing where Salacia becomes a Sea Queen and marries Poseidon as a Husband). Interestingly enough, because there is No Actual Appearance for Salacia in SpongeBob, Fans tend to do a Personal Design of Her (either in their own way or inspired by the Single Mermaid Statue).
The Fanon Portrayal of Polacia tends to be pulled out on a “Beauty and the Beast'' trope, where based on Poseidon’s Semi-Good Side, he might show Romantic Feelings for Salacia or Based on Poseidon’s Bad Side that tend to show him as a Narcissist flirting with Her whereas Salacia would balance him out and to show the more good in him (presumably based on fan rewrite works, having Poseidon’s own Redemption to be Stretched out a bit as an Arc). This whole portrayal of this pairing might change unless either Salacia does make a Canonical Appearance or if Poseidon might reappear if he makes an appearance in the show.
Trivia:
This Theoretical Pairing might bare a strikingly similarity with the Persades pairing in The Disney's Hercules fandom since both Animated Movies (Hercules and The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge On The Run of their own Franchise) feature a Greek God (Hades and Poseidon) as a Central Antagonist, while small hints of cameos of their own wives (Persephone and Salacia) were featured in their own Husbands' said films (despite being unconfirmed if the said Goddesses truly first appeared in the films or not, unless if a canonical true appearance for each of the Consorts between Hades and Poseidon in their own Universes is confirmed).
Although in Greek Mythology, Hades and Poseidon were both the Brothers of Zeus, Hestia, Demeter, and Hera. As well as they were both the Children of Kronos and Rhea.
Similar to Slapferatu, Polacia is often pulled by the Aesthetic of Greco-Roman Myths (most likely from their direct Mythological Counterparts) as well as Classical Aquatic literature within the Themes between Fairy Tales and Merfolk being portrayed as Water Spirits (such as Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Mermaid).
4. Nepitrite
The M/F Pairing between King Neptune and Queen Amphitrite.
Character 1: King Neptune
Character 2: Queen Amphitrite
Canonical?: Canon
Status of Relationship?: Married
Type: Het
Also Known As: Neptutrite, Amphitune, NepAmp, AmpNep, Amptune
Canon
King Neptune’s first introduction was “Neptune’s Spatula” where the physical appearance of Him was revealed in his very first appearance. In fact, Neptune is considered to be the Undersea Equivalent of God in The Entire SpongeBob Universe as his own name is often phrased in the place of God’s (considering that He’s the Entire Main Ruler of the Sea).
Although he does appear within a Different Design in “The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie”, it is likely to assume if by Half of the Fandom if King Neptune by Two Different Designs are meant to be the Same Character or Just Two Separate Rulers (oddly enough, Squidward called King Neptune from the Show as “Neptune IXV” in “Krusty Towers”, assuming that there might be More Neptunes out there and that Movie Neptune might be a separate character from the One in the Show).
Queen Amphitrite makes her own official first appearance in “The Clash of Triton”, where she is confirmed to be the Wife of King Neptune as she does celebrate her own Husband’s 5,000th Birthday at the Krusty Krab for the Party.
Although there is No Canonical Backstory as to how they met, Amphitrite seems very calm and is always on her Husband’s Side as she is shown to be very devoted and caring compared to Neptune (who’s more Regal and Arrogant). In her first appearance, she is shown to cheer up her own Husband to forget about their Son, Triton, on his 5,000th Birthday when they have a Dinner Party at the Krusty Krab (along with their own Three Subjects/Servants). But when King Neptune cries after he is reminded of the name of their Son, he sobs down as Amphitrite comforts her Husband when telling the truth to SpongeBob who Triton is.
During the Episode, Amphitrite does stay at her Husband’s side in the Party Table, until when Triton shows up crashing his Father’s Party, locking both his Parents, their Servants, Mr. Krabs, and Squidward all in a Cage, it might apply that Amphitrite is indeed disappointed in their Son’s comeback (much to Neptune’s dismay of their Son’s Return).
When Patrick produces to unlock the Cage as Triton’s prisoners were all free, Neptune produced to talk down with his own Son but after seeing the surprise destruction that he caused damage in the Bikini Bottom, Neptune forgives his son and is proud of the work that he did to proven himself out of his own God Powers. Along with the Crowd, Amphitrite claps for their own reunion and in the ending, the Family go Home with their own Son (who now has returned after Long Years of being Caged up in an Island).
After the Finale of Season 6, King Neptune’s Wife never appears again until in “Trident Trouble” where Neptune jokes about the Greek God named “Zeus” in which Amphitrite laughs but hides herself underground when she is shocked by the Mother of the Kraken (who King Neptune fought in a Battle).
Outside of both the Show and the Films, King Neptune does make his own appearances in Other Media (the Comics and the Games) but his own Wife does rarely appear in Other Media (with the expectation of Games such as “Bikini Bottom Chess” and even a pictured cameo in “Battle for Bikini Bottom: Rehydrated”). Making the recurring pairing widely unpopular.
Children
Princess Mindy
Mindy is the Very First Child of Neptune and Amphitrite introduced in The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie.
She has Green Skin and a Green Mertail like her Father’s but has Black Hair like her Mother’s. She appears to have a Friendly, Calm, and Generous personality, almost similar to her Mother’s and is chosen to be the Future Queen of the Sea one day in the Future for her Father’s Throne.
Prince Triton
Triton is the Second Child of Neptune and Amphitrite introduced in The Clash of Triton.
He has Green Skin and Red Hair like his Father’s, but also has a Blue Mertail like his Mother’s. Unlike Mindy, He is very rebellious and arrogant just like his Father. Although he was once fascinated with the Mortal Side from the Bikini Bottom, he lost interest in it as he grew to become more rebellious through his prison years.
Fanon
Nepitrite is one of the Most Rare and Unpopular Pairings in The SpongeBob SquarePants Fandom. Although despite that they are one of the Canonical Couples in the Franchise, they are not one of the target focus as the Other Popular Ships due to how King Neptune rarely appears in a Few Episodes and is only a recurring character as his own Family is barely on Screen.
Regarding the works that King Neptune has appeared in, there are a few supporters of his own canonical marriage between Him and his own Wife. But given on how that Queen Amphitrite (along with their son, Prince Triton) weren’t in The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, it is likely unknown on what happened to Amphitrite or why she wasn’t in the Movie (nor how it’s most likely unaware of what the relationship between their own Children and their Mother are like compare to their Children’s own relationships with their Father) but it’s most likely because there wasn’t a confirmed appearance for King Neptune’s wife until when “The Clash of Triton” came for Season 6.
Some Fans Theorize that because of King Neptune’s arrogant behavior, they assume that Queen Amphitrite must’ve divorced him or simply because she was somehow killed or died, assuming that’s probably the reason as to why Neptune became more ruthless in the First Movie (especially in Theories where that The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie was meant to take place in the Future as a Chronological Finale to the Series).
People who are found between the Pairing of King Neptune and his Wife are possibly the same People who are Fans of the Original Greco-Roman Mythology. However, in Roman Lore, Neptune had a Wife named “Salacia” and in Greek Lore, Amphitrite was the Wife of Poseidon but both Couples were indeed the Same Gods and Goddesses of the Sea just by Different Names through Different Religions (Roman and Hellenic). It is yet to be implied that the SpongeBob SquarePants Franchise has put a Twist between the Two Mythological Couples by swapping the Names out (which can also be said to their own Counterparts as Well).
Although King Neptune is sometimes known as “King Neptune IXV” since “Krusty Towers” as if he was meant to be a Member of The Whole King Neptunes of the Sea, but because that it depends on the Writers to decide on weather or not if King Neptune was supposed to be either their own Personal Depiction of the Said Roman Mythological Deity or Not. This gain regards Half of the Fandom to have their own Personal Views towards the Character, if King Neptune is meant to be the Actual Neptune or Not (depending on what produced works he is featured in).
Fans of this Rare Canonical Pairing who have read Greek/Roman Myths describe SpongeBob’s Neptune’s marriage with his Wife in the Franchise as an “Open-Relationship”, considering that Amphitrite was described always being the calm one while Neptune was indeed actually very wrathful (which is something that the Show took inspiration on for its own Royal Family). It’s most likely because the Supporters of this Pairing found the Dynamic between a Wrathful Arrogant Sea King and a Beautiful Calm Kind-Hearted Sea Goddess intriguing, they've created their own headcanons to expand their Marriage and even their Family Tree (rather if it’s truly inspired by Greco-Roman literature works or not).
These are just a Few Ideas of my Personal Suggestions. Let me know of what you think if you can consider any of these ideas to be added.

Movie Review - Nosferatu [2024]
**WARNING: This review contains spoilers**
Robert Eggers had a hell of a weight on his shoulders when making a new adaptation of Nosferatu. The original came out in 1922 and has become horror history. Its impact has been felt by almost everyone, even those whose only exposure to it was a joke made in a random episode of SpongeBob. There was so much anticipation leading up to this film and I knew that I had to find out if it was worth the hype, so I used my birthday as an excuse to go see it in film.
Full disclosure: I have been a fan of Eggers's work for some time now. I fell in love with his work on The VVitch and The Northman. His films just tickle a part of my brain. I'm glad that Nosferatu was no different.
I want to start by praising the cast, as it may be the easiest part of this whole review. I am convinced that everyone in this movie was perfectly cast. There was so much love and care in this film from the cast. You could feel it. Everything was so passionate and intentional. I adored everyone in it.
There are a few standouts that I want to point out quickly (this is a long as hell paragraph, sorry). First is the man of the hour: Bill Skarsgård. He is truly in his element when he's playing something other than a human. His love for the craft shines in this movie. His line delivery to his movements were all done with such thought behind them. It was an incredibly memorable performance, and I hope he earns high praise from those who watch it. Second is Willem DeFoe. Defoe is in maybe half of this film. However, he plays his character so well that it becomes difficult to imagine a time when he wasn't there. He is naturally intertwined with the plot and the world. He is amazing at playing this passionate, if a little mad, man who wants to save the world at the end of the day. Finally, we need to talk about Lily-Rose Depp. I don't think it's out of line to say that she carries this film. Her emotion and dynamic performance force the audience to fully understand everything she experiences. Her love for her husband, her fear of her nightmares, her pain, her desire. Every emotion drags you even closer to her and that makes her tragic and selfless ending even more impactful.
I found the music to do very well at holding the audience in exactly the space they needed to be. Even silence is used carefully. Tension, stark terror, confusion, and grief as all supported by an amazing score that perfectly fits the movie. Robin Carolan, you are a mad genius.
I am not someone who commonly gets caught up on camerawork. I didn't go to film school in any capacity, nor do I consider myself any kind of expert. As such, I don't fully know the vocab or the methods in any great detail. All that I know is that I was obsessed with some of the filming in this movie. There were several scenes where two characters would be having a conversation with the camera simple cutting between two steady shots. I specifically think of the scene featuring the conversation between Thomas (Nicholas Hoult) and his boss (Simon McBurney) in his boss's office. It immediately caught my attention and then I couldn't stop thinking about it. Even in moving scenes, where a camera could easily follow one subject from point A to point B, it would instead sit on a single axis and then quickly turn to follow the actor that way. I think of Thomas riding his horse through the field on his way to see Count Orlok (Skarsgård) or when Orlok's carriage comes to pick up Thomas.
I could write a love letter about the effects and gore and the presentation of different deaths and corpses in this movie. Just to avoid making this a complete essay, I will just say that I found it to be done in a way that balanced the film's tone and gore perfectly.
There was very little that I didn't adore about this movie. Also, the things that I didn't like weren't specifically flaws in the filmmaking, but just my personal preference. For example, I found the coloring of the film to be less effective than it could've been. I do think I understood the point of the different coloring in different scenes, but it still didn't sit with me the way that I wanted it to. Again, this is just my personal preference and isn't an inherent flaw in the project.
Overall, I found Nosferatu to be a fascinating movie with amazing imagery and performances from a perfect cast. Those who are fans of Eggers's other projects will truly love this project. Also, those with a soft spot for gothic horror/Victorian horror (not 100% sure about what the right term is) will likely enjoy this project.

Legacy of the Vampire: NOSFERATU, A SYMPHONY OF HORRORS
It is difficult to imagine film without sound. The modern theater-going audience has become reliant upon dialogue and sweeping musical scores as integral pieces of the cinematic puzzle. But in the heyday of film, sound was limited, if it was available even at all. Movies of the silent era were forced to rely almost exclusively on acting, cinematography, and set design to create the filmmaker’s desired atmosphere.
No film was more successful at silently evoking emotion from an audience than the German expressionist classic, Nosferatu.
Nosferatu, A Symphony of Horrors
Released on March 4th, 1922, Nosferatu, Eine Symphonie des Grauens (A Symphony of Horrors) tells the story of Count Graf Orlok, a vampire whose story is very similar to Dracula, only more German.
Thomas Hutter is a real estate agent in the imaginary town of Wisborg, where he lives with his wife, Ellen. Hutter’s boss sends him off to Transylvania where he is to have real estate paperwork completed by Count Orlok who is buying a house in Wisborg. Upon arriving at Orlok’s castle, the two have dinner, during which Hutter cuts himself. Orlok tries to suck the blood from Hutter’s wound, but Hutter pulls away in disgust.
The next morning, Hutter awakes with puncture wounds in his neck. He brushes them off as insect bites and finally has Count Orlok sign the documents.
After reading a book about vampires from the local inn, Hutter begins to put the pieces together, suspecting that Orlok is, indeed, a vampire. While exploring the castle, he finds a room with a coffin and Orlok inside, sleeping (like vampires do).
Later that day, from a window in the castle, Hutter sees Orlok loading coffins onto a cart. Orlok climbs into one and is taken to a ship where he will be heading to his newly purchased home in Wisborg. Hutter escapes the castle by jumping from the window and promptly loses consciousness. He awakes in a hospital, but eventually is well enough to return home.
While on the ship, Count Orlok drains the captain of his blood and when the ship arrives in port, he enters the town, with his coffin. And no one notices. After discovering the body of the captain and other passengers, the town decides that it must be the plague and panic ensues.
Orlok moves into his new home, which happens to be directly across the street from the Hutter’s and he promptly gets his creep on by spying on Ellen through a window. Ellen has stolen the vampire book from her husband and learns that the only way to end Orlok’s reign of terror is for her to distract him all night with her beauty, so she invites Orlok over and decides to take one for the team, allowing him to drink her blood. Enamored by Ellen’s beauty, Orlok loses track of time and when the sun rises, he is turned to dust.
“Nosferatu was a technically ambitious film. Its use of stop-motion is highly recognized as the most effective of its time…”
Behind the Scenes
The word, “nosferatu”, is presumed to be Hungarian-Roman in origin and loosely translates to “vampire”. Albin Grau, filmmaker and owner of the film studio, Prana Film, began obsessing over the idea of telling a vampire tale on the big screen in 1916. He was inspired by a story he was told by a Serbian farmer who claimed that his father was a real-life nosferatu.
Grau enlisted screenwriter, Henrik Galeen, to write the script for the film. He was sure Galeen would be more than capable of capturing his vision as he had also written the screenplays for fellow expressionist films, The Student of Prague (1913) and The Golem (1920), which are held in similar esteem as Nosferatu.
Max Schreck (The Tunnel) stars as Count Orlok. Nosferatu was Schreck’s most famous film role, but he had a prolific career in German theater. The film also stars Gustav von Wangenheim (Woman in the Moon) as Thomas Hutter and Greta Schroeder (Paganini) as Ellen – Seine Frau (his wife).
Nosferatu was a technically ambitious film. Its use of stop-motion is highly recognized as the most effective of its time.
Expressionism
Nosferatu is often regarded as one of the most influential films of the German expressionist movement. Metropolis (1927) and The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari (1920) provide good company as further examples of German expressionist films.
But what exactly is expressionism and how does Nosferatu qualify?
Expressionism was first recognized as an artistic movement in the visual arts and in poetry. The movement began to take hold of cinema in the early 20th century, but gained a great deal of traction after World War One. One of the most famous Expressionist pieces is The Scream by Edvard Munch, which is actually cited as the inspiration for Count Orlok’s appearance in Nosferatu. (You can totally see it, right?)
One way an expressionist film can be identified is by its set design. Nosferatu, for instance, utilizes a number of outdoor landscapes that speak to its Romantic influences. As the film progresses, the storyline becomes increasingly ominous which is reflected in the movie set. We move from the realistic beauty of the landscape to the surreal darkness of the castle. It is obvious that film sets of this era were heavily influenced by the visual art movement of Expressionism.
Expressionism is also created by the use of sharp angles, stark differences between darkness and light, and surrealist, fantastical characters. Nosferatu hits all of these marks. Even Count Orlok’s appearance reflects expressionism, with spindly fingers, and pointed ears.
The use of shadow in expressionist film is hugely important and used to full effect in Nosferatu. One of the most iconic scenes in the film involves Count Orlok creeping up the stairs in the Hutter’s home, where all you see is a perfectly formed shadow and the eeriness of his full silhouette as he reaches out his creepy, claw-hand.
“We are incredibly lucky to still have access to the film, today…”
Controversy
The story of Nosferatu lends itself well to Romantic Expressionism because it was, in fact, an unauthorized adaptation of Bram Stoker’s romantic novel, Dracula. In an attempt to avoid legal repercussions, Murnau changed the setting of the story from 1890’s London to Germany in 1838; specifically, an imaginary town called, Wisborg. He also changed character names (Count Dracula is Count Orlok) and rather than Count Orlok siring vampires in the way of Stoker’s Dracula, he kills his victims.
Filmmaker and founder of Prana Film, Albin Grau, had sought the rights to Dracula through Stoker’s estate, by way of his widow, Florence Stoker. He was denied in 1916, but continued his work, in spite of this, believing that the changes made to the story would be enough to avoid a copyright lawsuit.
They were not.
Florence and Bram Stoker’s estate sued Prana Film for copyright infringement after the film debuted in 1922. Prana Film lost in court because, well, Grau and Murnau used the name Dracula to refer to Count Orlok in early versions of the film (which is pretty dumb, no?) and there was no denying the fact that Nosferatu was derivative of Stoker’s, Dracula.
Not only was Prana Film forced to close, but the court ruled that all copies of Nosferatu be destroyed, but at that point, the film had been distributed around the world that obtaining all of them in order to destroy them was impossible. We are incredibly lucky to still have access to the film, today.
Legacy of the Vampire
Nosferatu’s influence remains omnipresent in Hollywood. Aside from directors like Tim Burton and Werner Herzog citing Nosferatu as a major source of inspiration, the film also helped to establish a (now) classic vampire trope: bursting into flames in the sun. This artistic choice was in direct conflict with the original idea presented in Bram Stoker’s Dracula, where vampires walked freely in the daylight, only suffering energy loss.
Nosferatu remains a massive part of modern pop culture. In 1979, Werner Herzog released a remake (more of an adaptation) of the film entitled, Nosferatu the Vampyre. The year 2000 saw the release of Shadow of the Vampire starring John Malkovich as F.W. Murnau and Willem Dafoe as Max Schreck. The film implies that Max Schreck embodied the character of Count Orlok so well because he was not just portraying a vampire, he actually was one.
Robert Eggers, who received a great deal of critical acclaim for his directorial debut, The Witch, is set to direct an upcoming remake of Nosferatu. Even the Nickelodeon cartoon, Spongebob Squarepants, has paid homage to the film (check out the clip, here). Nosferatu is now part of the public domain, which means it is no longer subject to copyright laws. The entire film is available to view for free on Youtube, so everyone has easy access to this iconic horror film.

1-20 for three sims of your choice. 83
EDIT: Ok I just noticed the questionnaire isn’t actually 20 questions long. Its only 17 lol. It literally skips 3 numbers at 13 and jumps to 17 at the next question and number 20 is asking a question yourself lmao
I’m adding Trinity to this list of 3 ^_^
Sims Asks
Trinity Jo
1. Trinity is 18 going on 19
2. No middle name but she does have one of those Southern “double first names” so the “Jo” after Trinity stands for Josefine.
3. Black or dark colored tops (usually with some kind of hood or scarf) and bottoms/jeans with some kinda sneakers or boots. She usually goes for form fitting clothing but not because she thinks its sexy its becasue she hates “flowy loose shit” that gets in the way when she’s fighting/running/whipping out a weapon.
4. Trinity has several full blooded demon siblings who either dislike her for being half human, want her dead for being half human or just like to fuck something up of her’s for kicks because that’s just what demonic siblings do :D
5. ….I really need to think of birthdays for my sims lmao But I was leaning toward Sagittarius for her..maybe??
6. Trinity didn’t stay in school for very long and she started late she made it to about middle school before dropping out. Her favorite subject was gym/recess and surprisingly she liked history lessons but she hated everything else lol.
7. Her favorite is the movie Blade starring Wesley Snipes xD But she likes anything with supernatural beings/creature features with action and adventure. Bonus points for gore and blood.
8. Trinity’s latest google search: “Can you break your dick?”
9. Trinity is inspired by people who let their actions speak louder than their words. If Alucard from the Hellsing Abridged Series was real, He would be Trinity’s role model.
10. Favorite book? Trinity!??? HAHAHAHAHAHA ! Any book heavy enough to break someone’s face when she throws it at them is her favorite kind of book lmao
11. Motorcycles, fast cars…and weapons. Guns especially. Anything that makes a big bang is her hobby. Explosions??? Yup. Sharp blades? Yup. Canons? Oh yes. Bitches love canons.
12. I don’t watch or read Harry Potter so idk.
13. I’m not sure how one does the enneagram thing but if anyone can explain it I can maybe choose something.
17. Trinity usually likes all foods as long as its savory and filling. As a half-demon she has a very high metabolism so she eats a lot very frequently. Since she and the Reaper currently reside near the New Mexican/Arizona desert(s) border. They frequent the diners and pizza joints there a lot. Trinity likes the burgers and pizza…as long as it doesn’t have pineapple on it. Pineapple pizza is a sin even for a half-demon.
18. Coffee? Ehhh she’ll drink it occasionally. Tea? Well she’s originally from Louisiana so she likes her southern sweet teas. Cocoa? Yup. Its sweet and warm when its cold out.
19. Trinity’s handwriting is…pretty bad. She doesn’t spell, write or read very well because she was taught to read and write very late into her childhood so that means her punctuation and grammar are usually atrocious. She doesn’t even care so long as her point gets across but Reaper has been gradually getting her to use better grammar and punctuation when writing over time. She writes how she speaks so that means…curse words and slang with a Southern Louisiana drawl in person.
20. Since there’s no original ask here’s a Random Fact: Trinity’s hair length changes so frequently because it grows very fast. If she were to buzz it all off, it’d get back to its current neck/ear length in like a month or two.
D Santana
1. D is pretty old. He doesn’t remember his exact age but he is at least half a millennia. So about 500 years or more.
2. Nope lol He’s very secretive about what his actual name is. He’s had it legally changed it to “D” but if someone asks what it stands for he gives them the name Diego.
3. Almost exclusively Black or similarly dark colors. He’s known for looking like a “modern cowboy” sort of look. That means the black boots and the big black hat with a vest and t-shirt. But he also can go more casual street style with just jogging pants and a T-Shirt with house shoes (at home). He wears the most clothing during the day, of course and usually at night (or at home) you can catch him working topless/sleeveless at his shop.
4. He did have siblings as human. As for vampire siblings, he considers the crew that works at his shop as his nestmates of sorts and therefore they call one another “brother” and “sister”. He also has a lovingly hateful friendship with TrinityJo and The Reaper.
5. ….again with the birthdays that I haven’t given XD Then again I have excuse since D is an older vampire.
6. N/A
7. His favorite movies are “F. W. Murnau’s Nosferatu” (because he finds it amusing) and “¡Vamonos con Pancho Villa!”
8. D’s Last Google Search: “EL1016‑SS: Classic Tube Brake Lines“
9. D is rarely inspired by anyone or anything but he does find people with lots of tenacity and will to never give up can coax him to do things he normally wouldn’t. Which is why he usually tolerates Trinity’s obnoxiousness.
10. He doesn’t read much but he does like TV lol Usually old cowboy shows. He watches “Bat Masterson” and yes he’ll watch the old “Zoro” series sometimes too.
11. D’s hobbies include: tattooing/body art, leatherwork, vintage cars (something he and Trinity “bond” over), supernatural inkwork and bonding.
12. I don’t watch/read Harry Potter lol
13. I’m not sure how one does the enneagram thing but if anyone can explain it I can maybe choose something.
17. D’s “food” is blood but he does consume alcohol because he likes the taste and drinking a lot enough might give him a slight buzz for a while. His favorite blood type is B Negative.
18. Coffee? Tea? Cocoa?? Do you mean TEAquila
19. D has terribly sloppy handwriting. But its slop in those “What the hell does this actually say?” kinda ways and not one of those “Are these actual letters of the alphabet?” kinda ways lol
20. Since there’s no original ask here’s a Random Fact: Sometimes he forgets to English and will start speaking his Native tongue (Nahuatl) or Spanish.
The First Son (Osiris)
1. Osiris is very old. Created before humans. But his “human age” is 29.
2. No middle name lol
3. Osiris has a very formal, clean style. He’s a businessman so you usually catch him in a very clean and precise cut suit and tie his casual wear is “business casual” meaning he’ll do button ups and comfortable slacks and if he doesn’t have a suit jacket of some sort he usually has a vest on. He keeps his hair in a close-cut ceasar style or a fade. He might wear glasses or something but he’s presumed by humans to be blind.
4. “The Second Son” is currently his only known sibling.
5. (Finally a sim with a presumed birthday XD) Osiris is a Capricorn, “born” on January 7th 1988 for human records. From what I see about Capricorns, it seems to fit him. Ambitious, intelligent and calculating, Osiris is very well organized and disciplined. He is reserved and patient and extremely hard-working but can be very cold, brutal and unforgiving when angered. He’s also something of a perfectionist and expects the best of anyone who he works with (and those who work for him). He does not like being disappointed when expectations are set high and has the confidence and cleverness of an attractive, successful, businessman.
6. Osiris has studied at various universities and schools over the years. His favorite subjects are math and science. Like the hardcore stuff. Advanced Calculus, Physics, Biology, Chemistry and of course Alchemy and Magics of all kinds.
7. …..Hmmm not sure how into movies he would be. He’s more of a book reader.
8. Google? He IS google xD. A living dictionary of world history lol But I’d say maybe all he’s googled recently is something like “What is spongebob?” because of all these new dumbass Spongebob memes xD
9. Osiris is inspired by his need to further and surpass the boundaries of human science and physical limitations. He’s always looking for a way to make things better. He feels like since he has to share this planet with lower beings he might as well try to make it tolerable.
10. The Bible is a favorite book of his. Not because believes in it but because he finds it an amusing read. Like “Lol I was there when they crucified Jesus and that’s not how the story went.”
11. His hobbies consist of studying to further the progress of Nilotic Energy (his company), reading in general, collecting historical relics for preservation, creating and cataloging new magic and spells. He also likes cooking. Even though he doesn’t have to eat, he enjoys the art and skill that goes along with cooking and does it often.
13. I’m not sure how one does the enneagram thing but if anyone can explain it I can maybe choose something.
17. Well he doesn’t have to eat to sustain himself but usually he goes for the more homecooked or highclass meal kinda foods. He likes foods that people put actual work and skill into. He can literally taste the difference if you’ve put effort into your food or if you just warmed up some precooked stuff in a microwave. So in other words you probably won’t catch him eating at a greasy fast food place.
18. Does he prefer coffee, tea or cocoa? Surprisingly he likes them all. But teas are his favorite. He likes his coffees and teas in a very specific way.
19. Osiris’s handwriting is very neat and precise. The only time it looks off is when he’s just jotting down quicknotes for something but even then its always legible. He also almost exclusively writes in cursive.
20. Since there’s no original ask here’s a Random Fact: Smoking cigars is a bad habit he adopted during the 1800s. He’s adapted ingredients to suit his own, more non-human, preferences but he still likes certain human brands as well.

Guess what I got! The recording scripts for all of the episodes of Spongebob season 13!! Gang gang
I got it from some guy from YouTube. He said this was leaked on internet archive and Nick tried to scrub it clean off the interwebz. He managed to salvage some and he gave me a link. His account was gone before I had an opportunity to say thank you, so now I have it. I'm sharing it here because idgaf if my account gets taken down lol. But also no one checks tumblr anyways.
I made sure to print out the Slappy Daze recording script because idgaf about the other episodes tbh. I only care about my beloved Peter Lorre fish's day in the limelight <3 I put it in this plastic slip and keep it in a nice binder. It's my most prized possession besides Slappy's character sheet. I also have the Squidferatu script as well.
To be honest a lot of these scripts are pretty similar to the final product of the episode. There are some minor differences like Slappy wasn't originally in the script for There Will Be Grease. Instead it was supposed to be some nerdy fish asking if everything juice will make him sound more manly. Bless whoever snuck Slappy in there because you all remember me tweaking for a week when the episode came out because I was so happy Slappy got a part in the song lol.
Also the episode Upturn Girls was originally titled City Cetaceans.
Slappy Daze is pretty near identical to the final product tbh. Nothing really changed besides a few words. I am fascinated by the fact that the first draft is dated as being July 30th 2021. By that point I already fully and completely developed Slappy brain worms and was already considering watching Lorre's movies to get my fix cuz the airings of the Patrick show were frustrating. Ahh the good ol days <3
I also do believe Slippy (Slappy's female counterpart) was made for Slappy Daze originally though. The episode gives a physical description of Slippy which makes me think she just made for the moment. I think she was added to Mid-Season Finale in The Patrick Star Show episode afterwards but Mid-Season Finale aired first. Nickelodeon actually did mess up with this episode and released it on DVD before it officially aired. Now the pieces are coming together. This is only interesting to me lol.
Spongebob fans are such h8rs fr. Where else would you find THE original dreamy haired emo boy Cesare the Somnanbulist working as an assistant for the primary care physician fish Dr. Caligari? I would LOVE for Cesare to rid me of my allergies😤😤
Squidferatu actually has the most differences between the script and the final product. Plus plenty of interesting details. Squidferatu actually has two scripts, part one and part two.
The first and most important detail to me is the fact that Slappy is still named "Laszlo". You've seen Slappy's character sheet where it mentions he was formerly named "Laszlo" (obviously a reference to Peter Lorre's birth name Laszlo Löwenstein).
But in the Squidferatu scripts you can actually find the EXACT moment where his name changes from Laszlo to Slappy. It all has to do with one specific gag.
These both are the same scene. The left side is from Squidferatu part 1 and the right is Squidferatu part 2.
I do think they absolutely fumbled the name Laszlo. There are enough cartoon characters named Slappy. Laszlo is much much cuter and brings the Lorre reference full circle but oh well.
I also keep forgetting to mention but the villager in Squidferatu who begs Spongebob and Squidward not to go to the castle was intended to be the same villager in the 1931 Dracula who warns Renfield, who actually was based on a villager from the 1922 Nosferatu who warns Thomas Hutter. This character respawned in 3 different pieces of media. I think he's the true star of this episode lol.
There is also the fact that carriage driver in Squidferatu is confirmed to be Nosferatu! I feel like this fact is obvious enough if you're familiar with Dracula media (1922 Nosferatu, 1931 Dracula, or even just reading the book) the count is always the carriage driver duh
Also the fact that in this episode he hisses like a vampire, is strangely humanoid, and briefly has the Nosferatu™ eyebrows which fully gives it away. Unfortunately the folks on the SB wiki do not agree >:((
The first time I saw the carriage driver I said "ohh he kinda bad" and you know what? I'm not retracting my statement. He IS a baddie. I'm tired of lying to myself otherwise.
Anyways this caused me to come up with a headcanon that Nosferatu is broke and likely does not pay Slappy. I mean that explains why Nos has taken on shifts at the Krusty Krab, but also explains why Slappy is working 2 jobs in The Patrick Star Show. I imagine property taxes on a castle really drains a vampire's family fortune. I'm getting off topic.
There are some extra gags that didn't make it into the episode.
There's also the fact that we've been robbed of Erik from the Phantom of The Opera giving the audience a cute wink uwu

It’s amazing how much Nosferatu became an integral part of SpongeBob lore. Especially since he was just a gag character for the ending of the night shift episode. He even appeared as a character in the CGI Camp series as a younger version of himself. Why the recent interest?
I've grown to LOVE Nosferatu! Outside of the fact that he's a blorbo by association to Slappy. Slappy supremacy 🙏
I just think he's neat.
I remember some thing on twitter where SB fans were complaining about the show reusing old characters like Nosferatu and Granny Prunes but honestly SB fans on twitter are kinda annoying to begin with and will complain about anything. I couldn't care less, gimme more German expressionist characters <3 <3
Jokes aside. Idk I've grown really fond of Nosey. He's just a silly guy. Outside of flickering the light switch on and off, he has a funny life. His ship never made it to Wismar and he ended up stuck underwater. Now he has a dorky fish butler and a son and he lives a relatively mundane life. He's the nightshift manager at the Krusty krab, hes a single dad, he writes screenplays sometimes, he promoted products. He auditions. He even did an interview once.
Its weird but funny. The first vampire in cinema and the first (unofficial) adaptation of dracula is just some guy chilling with fishes and living his life. He seems pretty content with things and I like that. He's what I aspire to be <3 ((NOT BALD))
As for the show, spongebob the show is trying to build continuity. Idk why but it's been since the beginning of the post secondary movie era and the tidal zone shenanigans. Its more likely to reference locations and old characters every so often. Some people complain that its trying to milk nostalgia but honestly I think they're just trying to make the world more connected and cohesive. people complain when the show does literally anything, they complain about old characters being used but they also hate the new characters so it really doesn't matter.
I personally love the direction the show is currently in. Its fun, I like how they expand on some characters and they all have their own little thing going on. I also like Nosferatu specifically because of how absurd it is to have a German expressionist movie character existing in a childrens show. People say it ruins his original gag because it was supposed to be random but Nosferatu being a regular character on it's own is random. This dude was spreading his plague to Wisborg, now he pulls pranks underwater by flickering the lights. He has a morally decent fish Dr. Caligari as his primary care physician. It's funny.
Also you mentioned there's a kid version of Nosferatu in Kamp Koral. That's not a child nosferatu. That is The child OF Nosferatu. I wonder who conceived Kidferatu? Idk but its funny that Nosey is a single dad working to support his kid. In Squidferatu you can see a framed picture of his son in the background :D (I really want to see Slappy being a good nanny to Kidferatu. Please please PLEASE)
I love the episode Graveyard Shift and I love his reappearance in The Night Patty. I always liked this weird guy but I only became invested once he got associated with Slappy. I think once the synopsis of Slappy Daze dropped and it revealed Slappy being nosferatu's butler was when I became obsessed and watched every nosferatu/dracula adaptation (don't ask, I comb through things fast. Also I liked vampire media years before this but this took an existing interested and pushed it to obsession lol)
Also watching the 1979 adaption of Nosferatu in particular gave me brain worms. I was like "....he kinda bad tho" I'm trying hard not to say I've begun to simp for him but I am 👉👈 I'm mildly disgusted with myself but its also like. I kinda like him more than what I should. I sorta want to slap myself for such a weird thing because REALLY look at him. But I can't help but like it. Ughhhhh. I wanna grab his big nose. I like to imagine it'll honk like a clown's nose.
It doesn't help that he's so silly in Spongebob like that's not helping at all😭
Obviously I prefer Slappy because he's my murder bby but I also think Nosferatu could get it as well.
So yeah. In other news, I preordered the super7 nosferatu figurine. I cant wait to get it. But idk the NECA nosferatu figurine looks better. It was also cheaper. Idk its too late now to change anything. I am still quite happy. I want to make that Nosferatu a proud supportive dad to my Draculaura doll :)

Do you have at least any suppose headcanons to how Slappy met his Master (Nosferatu)? Or was there already an origin episode about that somewhere in The Patrick Star Show?
Because to be completely honest, I wanna know how exactly did Nosferatu met his butler and why we've never really seen Slappy before until his first debut around 2019.
Oh I DO actually! Here's one from character AI that I like to imagine happened
Jokes aside, I think the reason why Slappy didn't show up until 2019 is because they didn't think of adding him. I know Kaz is a fan of Peter Lorre and wrote Slappy into the show as a little tribute because every cartoon as a Lorre caricature/impression of some kind.
But if I was to give an in universe answer, I think Slappy is probably just busy. He works for Nosferatu during the night and sleeps during the day. I would imagine it is rare to see Slappy out and about during the day unless he has something specific to do during the day. I imagine you could only rarely see Slappy around town during the daytime. Slappy practically dedicated his unlife to Nosferatu. He doesn't seem to have anything else to do beyond that. I doubt he even has enough time for Slippy because of his job. Slappy and Spongebob are alike so I can assume Slappy is as obsessed with his job the same way as Spongebob is, and you already know Spongebob would be at work 24/7 if he can. Same likely goes for Slappy.
As for how Slappy and Nosferatu met, I like to imagine the little scenario in Character AI is what somewhat happened. But on a serious note, it is canon that Nosferatu in Spongebob is an alternate universe to the original 1922 movie. Nosferatu takes the ship the Schooner to Wismar to spread his plague. In the Spongebob universe, the ship never makes it to Wismar. Instead it sinks and you can see the Schooner in the background when Sponge and Squid goes to Nosferatu's castle.
I like to imagine Slappy was there to witness the ship sinking/found the wreckage of the ship and he recovered Nosferatu's coffin. I think Nosferatu instantly drained Slappy and turned him into his undead familiar and Slappy being the weirdo he is, just kinda rolled with it.
I actually remember my earliest headcanon for Slappy. I always imagined Slappy is prone to getting attached to people. Slappy is the town's weirdo after all. I can imagine he's not particularly liked and that he's very aware that he is so outcasted. While we know Slappy has no personal qualms about it, I can imagine it might cause him to cling to people who do treat him "decently". Especially when he was alive.
I also like to imagine he was alive during the 1920s or 30s because the Nosferatu movie came out in 1922, what if the ship sank then? Or in the 30s when Peter Lorre began his film debut. This is unrelated but its just a thought. I like to imagine Slappy was born around the turn of the 20th century.
I can imagine being an alive weirdo is way worse than being an undead one. It must've been particularly isolating and he must've struggled to make friends amongst the living. So the fact that Nosferatu was willing to take him in, give him a job, befriend him, and gets his weird ways must've been a godsend.
So Slappy works as a familiar to Nosferatu. He gets his very first best friend, and he has a place to live, a stable job. Also being undead means he csn befriend the dead, and it really opens up slappy to a much more accepting friend group. All because of Nosferatu. Its no wonder Slappy practically worships him. Also slappy and Nosferatu work really well together. Aside from the fact that they're both undead, they seem to share a similar sense of humor, though Slappy does go too far sometimes. Still they both make great friends who love the macabre and pranks. And Slappy is pretty accepting, who else would Nosferatu get to work for a vampire? Someone who wouldn't run away screaming when dealing with particularly gritty or bloody work? There are many advantages to having a Slappy.
Even if that means he has to put up with Slappy's clingyness and bad puns.

Nosveraratu- the vampire looking guy from the night shift episode...
He's just kinda... there.
You think he's friends with the Flying Dutchman? That'd be neat
You know what's funny? Nosferatu wasn't supposed to be in the graveyard shift episode. His scene was supposed to belong to a character for that episode, floorboard Harry which is a clear telltale heart reference.
Tbh Nosferatu is funnier because who out here would know about the german bootleg dracula movie from 1922.
I feel like nosferatu mostly survives in our public consciousness because of spongebob. One time the museum had a retro horror movie post exhibit as one of their temporary exhibit. I was surprised by how many people fixated on nosferatu specifically because of spongebob xD I overheard some girls pointing it out "hey he's from spongebob!!!" xD
I'm getting off topic, dutchy and Nosferatu? Hmm they coooouuuld be friends. Both creepy boys but I feel like Dutchy would view nosferatu as competition. He's the spookiest one in town and he can't stand a rival. He's got a bit of an ego ya kno?
And Nosferatu mostly minds his business. I can see him being a bit of a prankster who pisses off dutchy every now and then. His pranks are harmless, as what we have seen in graveyard shift, the most is very mundane like flickering the lights or misplacing keys.
They'd be closer to frenemies than anything else. They seem not to care for each other but you can tell they'd be pretty sad if they were apart.
Maybe nosferatu is like that little brother figure to dutchy? He is younger (he's a KIDferatu in kamp koral while dutchy is a full adult) nosferatu seems to be the one who has his life together while dutchy is an old washed up ghost still living in the forgotten glory of his past. Responsible/serious younger sibling + older free spirited and sketchy older sibling is always a funny duo.
Gosh I wish they'd expand on this in the show now. There needs to be an episode of them interacting!! I'd really love to see it play out now.
