im. going to Fucking Kill Tumblr this is the THIRD time ive had to rewrite this post. stop DELETING MY SHIT. anyways

so since ive run out of ideas for the final eight sprunkis (raddy, vineria, tunner, black, funbot, and mfc)(i have very vague ideas for tunner n black but not enough to actually work off of oops) ive decided to move on and start designing the sprinkles as according to my familial headcanons!! gonna totally end up replacing most of our names with their canon ones, bevause to be entirely honest i like most of them better and i wasnt really attached to any of their names? idk ill say whether its a canon name or a made up one lol >w<

first up!! oren and bib!! canon name, oren and bib are the alien duo!! theyre just little guys trying their best to fit in. i imagine them having minor shapeshifting abilities, mostly camouflage related, but its something they have to learn. (bibs not very good at it yet :(...) i like to imagine oren in his early 20s, and bib around 8-10 years old (estimated, as very few of the sprunkis age the same due to species and whatnots. and these two arent even technically sprunkis. oops)

clukr and clink :] noncanon, canon name is tin. tin is actually one of the older sprinkles, in the later teens, theyre just really incredibly shy and scared of everyone and everything. clukr loved them n helped raise them before he moved in proper with garnold and their own kids (clukr lived with their parents for a long while due to disability and struggling yo hold a job bc of this). they spend a lot of time together still, and clink loves helping build machinery, specifically the wiring portion and not really the coding or anything. i imagine clukr as late 30s-early 40s, and clink as 16-18?

BRUD AND BUCKET!!! canon name! they are UNICORNS and yes brud named bucket after his favourite accessory. he also sacrificed his bucket so that bucket could be more comfortable. buclet is so so very shy and incredibly top heavy. hes gonna have to grow into his big fuckoff horn, unfortunately. the white markings he also will grow out of. imagine them like downy feathers on a duckling except its just fur. this doesnt provide any evolutionary advantage i just think its funny if baby univorns are the whites thing and then they grow to be colourful. brud loves bucket So Much. they will practice using magic one day. yes bucket had fairy fingers. as did brud. they have hooves. i imagine brud as Very early twenties, and bucket as like,, 8 at the Oldest. granted they age differently and are technically much older due to being unicorns but it translates like that yknow

forgot i can just make a public post. okidoke! @thaliiiq enjoy my recipe autism brownie time. uk measurements so be warned. 185 grams salted butter, 185 grams of dark chocolate, 85 grams plain flour, 40 grams cocoa powder, 3 large eggs, 275 grams caster sugar. get a small pot and add a little water, cut the butter and dark chocolate into small pieces and put in a bowl, then put the bowl into the pot with water and melt the butter and chocolate that way. do this first so it can cool whilst you make the other stuff. now preheat dah oven, 180C aka 356F. sieve your flour and cocoa powder together into a bowl, and in a seperate bowl add ur sugar and eggs and whisk em together till theyre super pale and the mixtures sorta 'inflated' aka doubled in volume. best way to check its ready is if you use ur whisk to sorta drip the eggs in and wiggle it, and u can see where its dripped for a second or two after, then its all good to go! once ur choco butter has cooled, if you havent eaten all of it cause it tastes so good, pour it into the egg/sugar mixture and fold it super gently so you dont destroy all that air you whisked into it. then add your flour/cocoa powder mixture and fold that in, itll seem super streaky and chalky at first but it will VERY suddenly start looking like brownies, put into a square tin lined with baking paper and greased, and pop into the oven 25 minutes. if they arent done, cook for 5 minutes then repeat if those mfs STILL refuse to be cooked.

if you wanna add sumthin special, put lil chocolate chunks in it (white, milk, dark or all 3!) and a secret cheat code is i get some raspberry jam and drizzle it ontop cause raspberry and dark chocolate go together so goooood

They always wanted to get into music a little I think. As a kid it was a love of stars and karaoke, but they kinda fell out of love for that sorta stuff when they were like a tween? Because their self confidence tanked for some time. When they discovered DJing and electronic music though, they got pretty damn hooked on it and went right back. Felt great to discover a way to reconnect with their old passion in a way that fit them much better. No need to sing or come up with the right words or do what others wished they would do... they could just be.

He moved out of his mom's house when he was like 16-17 after a bad fight. He spent those years between this and the band couch surfing, staying in some rather nasty situations before moving back in with his sister, who had already left their home, for a while.

They do live with Val, idk abt the Cellist tho. I wonder if the building below the venue in Jammin Salmon Junction is a house? If so maybe they live there. I kinda like to imagine theyre with Val in one building and the one the Cellist is in another close by and they have a little string-and-tin-can phone system up w/ a little pulley thing too.

DJ's really into tech in general. Their niche is the music but they wanna get into coding and stuff. They also like graffiti, rap and breakdancing, lots of that urban art... They're a bit of a party animal but the magic of it fades fast esp when things get out of hand...

Ok so MY theory is that theres SOMETHING to be released even if its just old demos. Because the elaborate videos seemed like WAY too extra to just be tour date announcements. And they stopped so abruptly when it looked like they were building to something. I honestly think the live shows are supposed to be part of whatever puzzle or announcement or release theyre doing, and when the tour got postponed so did the momentum of the mystery. Like whether theyre gonna play new stuff unannounced at the shows or if the stage design or wardrobe is gonna play into something...idk. but i really believe the shows were supposed to add to and play into the stuff with the monks and the robes and the witchy vibes and the sigils and codes.

I agree they couldve pivoted and still announced/released stuff but with gerard being so particular i think theyre still holding out for the tour to continue whatever they were weaving. I know im particularly tin hat-y but that throwback video with all the eras was SO elaborate. They *could* just be playing on nostalgia but i think at the least theyre gonna go through some old demos or concepts. Idk im not saying its a whole brand new album but im CONVINCED its SOMETHING besides tour date announcements.

Spoken language

Most common spoken languages are primordial, aquan, and common. Thats just a basic thing from Canon which is a little boring but its ok i can fix her. Primordial is mainly a religious language, used in prayer or spiritual practices. This is done mainly because of its very personal nature (as sound does not travel quickly underwater) Aquan is a language used more in the sunlight zone in the ocean, occassionally in small parts near the sunlight zone in the twilight zone. The trills and bubbling of this language that imitate the ocean waves do not travel well, if almost at all in the deep ends of the ocean. Very rarely is spoken language used in the deep ends of the ocean, but when it is, its used in long distance songs as sound travels extremely slowly. Theyre called wail-songs bc im cool and hilarious. These wail songs are meloncholic in nature, and can be used to communicate many kinds of code say for political movements, simply communing with family or friends, or for communing with traders

Visual language

There are two types of visual language used in the deeper ends of the ocean: light communication and sign language Bioluminescent lures and fin-like tendrils inside the hair or across the body (depends on what part of the ocean youre from) sequences of lights meaning certain things. its a very hard language to learn as it has no set definition for anything to learn, and its basically instinctual for anything inside the triton community. Especially because in close quarters, body language adds definition to the words Sign language is what it says n the tin! a lot less use of individual fingers due to tritons having webbed paws. Sign languages themselves are in HUNDREDS of little clusters ranging from interpersonal signs that family or close friends can have when communication with each other, to "by the book" versions thatre used more for business, etc.

id like to imagine them being little kids trying to make tin can phones that they can string between their windows but like.... houses are not close together in america. maybe depending on the area, idk, but the visual of them getting frustrated cuz they cant find long enough string or they just keep tying ends together until they have this absurdly long contraption is adorable

but then for his birthday steve gets walkie talkies and of course he gives the other one to billy and billy runs straight home so they can test them out and theyre standing in their windows talking and theyre all excited and i just think thats neat 😭

and maybe theyve come up with some lamp code to see if the other ones awake at night, so theyll flash the light on and off in a certain pattern for different meanings and theyll do that while laying in bed whispering on their walkie talkies

and then...ya know..... as teenagers.... theres a lot that could happen there lmao does steve often catch billy changing bc homeboy doesnt care about putting his body on display 24/7 so he just leaves his curtains open while he’s getting (un)dressed and steve catches glimpses and his heart starts racing and he doesnt quite know why ?? idk.... maybe.... 

does billy catch him staring one time and steve freaks out and falls to the ground hoping he wasnt noticed? it could happen.... 

and billys either real cocky about it OR because theyve been friends for so long maybe its weird territory bc billys been crushing on steve since forever but hasnt said anything for a multitude of reasons so maybe hes embarrassed by steve looking and chooses to just ignore it the next time they see each other and maybe things get a little weird

also not to get emo but like... you know steves walked into his room and got a view of neil going at it with billy. maybe he was just yelling/pushing him around a little. nothing big like a full shove or slap, so steves worried of course but its not like major enough for him to feel like hes gotta rush over and break it up.

of course you could also have them be neighbors who grew up hating each other and then that adds an extra layer to steve finding out about neil. also him getting full glimpses of billys nakedness lmao. 

also please consider them carpooling to school together every day and fighting over whose car theyre taking. and them blasting their music at each other to annoy the other one but its pissing off the whole neighborhood too. and when theyre fighting they know its bad when the curtains are drawn and theyre not allowed to see inside the others room

My favorite notions tins are actually ONE condom tins. Theyre small and compact but theyre perfectly sized for small sock notions. They probably wouldn’t be ideal for things like cable needles for larger projects. They’re cheap, on the one condoms website they’re only $1.50 or if you buy their condoms in the 24 pack you get one for free and enough “momentum points” to get another one for free off of the website (with free shipping) The flat top and bottom one comes with the 24 pack and i find its easier to open. It screws open whereas the other ones need to be pryed open and give me a bit more trouble especially at first. Both shapes are totally secure and don’t come open in my bag. They’re sturdy just like other notions tins or altoids tins. I have a couple of altoids/sucrets tins that i use for knitting but i find those more likely to open up in my bag. I also prefer this shape and the options of color coding etc. I also dont carry condoms with my so im not going to get my knitting notions confused with something else, whereas I do carry altoids/sucrets from time to time. Also imo they dont scream “THIS WAS DESIGNED FOR HOLDING CONDOMS”, they’re pretty discreet unless you know what this brand is. The brand isnt as well known as trojan or anything. I dont take my notions tins out of my bags in public very often but when i did need to for this i was embarassed at first but i got no dirty looks. Really though, who is looking that closely? Not that its an innapropriate thing to have or anything to be embarassed about. The only possible embarassment could be if you also use these to carry condoms with you in your purse and you open the wrong tin, so maybe color code.

I mean. Lawful Neutral is the shittiest alignment but. You can play using a personal code as your Lawful, not the actual law, which might include never bootlicking or snitching. Like, an order of warriors who follow a strict code and search for cool fights would be lawful neutral, even if they break actual laws to do the fights.

I'm just saying that like. Anything is workable if you think outside the box. Even chaotic evil can be playable in a non-slash and burn evulz campaign if you work for it. You just gotta flavor it right. Put a little bit of seasoning in there. Bake at 350 for four hours. I've lost the metaphor.

oh no i totally get that!! that’s actually the only way i personally can play a lawful character at all (although ive only ever made a lawful good character, but also, he was a rogue, so like. it was all 100% personal code lmao). also i tried to word it to be specifically about the player and not the character, which i know does not come through bc the way we discuss players is to conflate them with characters but i mean like. so i gravitate toward chaotic good as the easiest characters to play, the ones i agree with the most, and the ones that are most like me. so i mean more like if lawful neutral is your self-insert alignment AND you read “lawful” to mean the laws of the land over personal code. then ur a scab djkshghkjkshgd

lawful (any of em) i think is an interesting alignment in the right hands and i also definitely don’t think that just bc you created a character means you’re super alike to them or share morals or anything, bc just the character creation lacks all the context and the framing that would indicate and reflect your morals.

i think you only have fun with alignments and really get the fullest out of them is when you kind drop the rules associated w/them. like ‘good’ is supposed to be ‘the party’ and evil is pretty much only written as playable by npcs unless you have an evil campaign (and even that takes some working). lawful is supposed to be kinda what it says on the tin for good and neutral characters, which isnt any fun and sort of limits what you can do (especially if the rest of your party is chaotic). so like for example when i dm pretty much the first thing i do is say that the rules on alignments aren’t super rigid and i let players sort of define what chaotic/lawful means to them and i let them kill npcs even if theyre playing good characters. you know? im off topic. we’ve both lost threads here

makes me wanna rip my hair out but i learn so much about things i dont want to know but do really want to know. how much money the boomers have, how bad they are with it, the scams pulled by their banks and insurance comapnies that theyre oblivious or complacent with sounds like a tin foil ramble but it sometimes keeps me up three years of private senstive information and being yelled at but its worth it. people willingly hand over their information tell it to me dieectly and i code it out. but i have all the sensitive information keeps me up at night sometimes it used to be a lot more distressing now its just kinda sad also the blatant racism and classism and sexism gets pretty tiring it used to rev me up but its what ive come to expect from australian demographics. theyre all pretty shit australia is stuck in the 80s but with a 50s catholic nuclear family values its terrifying but people want it that way. our prime minister is a proud member of Hill Song a mega church baptist conglomerate with the basis of if you work hard enough and pray hard enough god will give you that new car you wanted.
