People need to realize there’s a significant difference between not supporting someone vs knowing they’re going down a path that is going to ruin them and being unable to watch someone you love destroy themselves any longer. Adam knew he couldn’t get Shiro to value his health. Adam KNEW he would never be enough for Shiro to stay, and he (very understandably) did not want to watch someone he loved kill himself like this. There is a BIG difference between “I don’t support you” and “I love you, but I can’t watch you do this to yourself anymore.”

will never get over the fact that dr. ratio might just care more for aventurine than anyone else. ratio genuinely apologized to aven when he thought he offended him, which i don’t think most people would do considering who aventurine is and his situation. i do genuinely believe there’s a reason why they have a light cone together, they have lines about each other when you add them in the same party (ratios is kinda heartwarming), and they may have more convos in the next update. ratio cares for aventurine, and even if it’s just a little, that says something because not many people do.
