How do you express loneliness?
Hi everyone,
I’m currently writing my master’s thesis in social work on the topic of loneliness. After already having written a bachelor's thesis on loneliness during the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown using a questionnaire as a research tool, my thesis supervisor and I came to the conclusion to stay on the same topic but handle it with a different approach.
Everyone has had experiences with loneliness in their life. No matter if they felt lonely themselves or heard about it, seen it on TV or read about it. Within my master’s thesis I want to explore the different ways people express loneliness. The research question of the master's thesis is therefore: "How do you express loneliness?".
My idea was to base the research on submissions. Within the submissions everything is possible, no matter if it is textual or written, artistic, videos, songs, photography or anything else that might help contextualize loneliness. (Examples could be: poems, texts, essays, haikus, lyrics, paintings, drawings, collages, videos, songs, photos etc.)

day 1/123
hi! little big update in my life, I finished university! well, almost, I need to finish my masters thesis and I'm not gonna lie, it´s a bit scary, so here I am, starting to upload again to get mysfel working!
Today is the first of july and I need to submit my tesis on october 31st (the reason for the 123 days) so the plan is to write a chapter a month or so. I've already organized my schedule so I can create deadlines for myself, take a week off (I don't know if I'll really be completely disconnected or if my computer will go with me) but we'll see and try not stress too much.
I'm a very anxious person and I'm going through a breakup after finishing college and I'm already thinking about doing my internship abroad, it's been a lot, I just can't break now, let's be positive and I'll believe in myself and my abilities! let's do it!!

Any Catholic mutuals, I need some help. I'm writing my thesis about Hugh of St. Victor (a medieval monk involved in education in France in the 12th century), and I am making an argument involving his view of Sanctification and Restoration, but he never defines these just explains how they are accomplished. In my work-shop with my professor yesterday, I was pointed towards the Catechism for definitions of these two words....but I can't find a definition for either. What I am finding is more explanations on HOW humanity becomes sanctified and redeemed. Can anyone point me to definitions, or another document I should look at to find these definitions? Or are the dictionary definitions the understood definitions the Catechism uses?

Went to the library so I could focus and it worked! Read a lot, making progress on the first chapter of my thesis (yey) I'm a bit more positive, scared but positive!!
Also, I've been searching for a camcorder, used to have one with my ex and I actually miss to record little moments with that, however I think I've found one, let's see!
I've also been missing him a lot, we used to love sunny days and I would tell him about what I was reading but it's just memories now, well it's very recent and it's a healing process right, so everything is gonna be alright 🐥 (<- how I feel convincing myself of that)
