Theo was born to his father Tiberius Nott and his mother Selene. Tiberius is also Theo's middle name (but he heavily resents it)

Theo and Draco essentially grew up together as both of their father's were loyal followers of Voldemort

Theo's father was and still is a Death Eater (however he is forever imprisioned in Azkaban after the second wizarding war)

His mother became sick before he ever attended Hogwarts, around when he was five or so

Her illness was very rare and caused her to slowly lose all of her magic while simultaneously getting weaker and weaker

You would often find Theo at his mother's bedside at St. Mungo's

You wouldn't, however, find Tiberius there as he essentially began disowning his wife as soon as she started to lose her magic

Theo was there when his mother passed (he was about eight), which is why he was one of three students that could see Thestrals his fifth year (the other two being Luna and Harry)

Spending so much time at St. Mungo's is actually what made Theo want to get better at potions

Bby boy was one of 12 students able to continue on to advanced N.E.W.T. level potions

His time at St. Mungo's allowed him to really spend precious time with his mother, hearing her stories and her aspirations for him and getting to see what a kind and loving soul she was

Even though she was growing weaker and losing her own magic

She used their time together to try and teach him as many unique spells and magical oddities that she could

You will often be surprised that Theo knows a spell or how to make a potion because he seems to never be paying attention

While he had to do certain things at the command of his father, deep down Theo is a lover

Theo's rage comes from the loss of his mother and the spite of his father

Never really allowed to process what happened to his mom, Theo bottled those feelings and thus, it comes out as anger and rage (making him a great fighter)

Through and through, Theo is a protector, as that was something he wasn't able to do for his mother

In order to be the best protector he became an excellent observer

Thus, when everyone things Theo is in the background, nodding off or dismissing conversations

He’s actually taking in as much information as possible

Because you never know how useful information can be

All and all, while Theo has a raging RBF, he’s really just observant, protecting and caring

You’d been dreading this dinner. You were home from Hogwarts for the weekend, to celebrate your dear sister’s birthday. You and your sister had never been particularly close. She tended to side with your parents in arguments, and subscribed to their ridiculous ideas about blood purity. You had always been the odd one out, so alone in your own family. 

You’d heard your sister had recently been engaged to a pureblood boy several years older than you, named Theodore Nott. He was exactly the kind of guy you’d always expected your sister to end up with. Impossibly tall- brooding, wealthy, pureblood, Slytherin. You didn’t remember much about him from school, just that he’d been quiet. Nott didn’t say much.

You descended the spiral staircase, and found most everyone already seated at the dinner table. Just one seat was left open, next to your sister’s fiancé. 

“So good of you to finally join us,” your sister quipped. She looked as chic and cold as ever, in a little silver dress. 

“I’m here, aren’t I?” You replied, and heard a low chuckle next to you. The sound sent a warmth down your spine, and you turned to look at its source. 

Theodore Nott sat next to you, casually positioned, with a glass of firewhiskey in one hand. You looked him over, secretly admiring the way his designer suit clung to his thighs. You fought back a shiver, looking away. 

“See something you like, yeah?” You heard Theo quietly ask you, a smirk spread across his beautiful mouth. 

He wasn’t wrong… but…

You ignored his retort, and attempted to make casual conversation with those around you. Your sister began on a tangent about pureblood children having to share a school with children from muggle families. This was what brought you so much anxiety about being home, the cruelty your family displayed when discussing pureblood politics. 

Your body tensed up, heart pounding in your chest. Just make it through tonight, just survive this one dinner, and then-

You felt a large hand settle on your knee. The warmth of it calms you instantly, but also sends a wave of heat over you. You swallowed a gasp. Theo continued to sip his drink- staring straight ahead, his hand unwavering, and politely nodding along to your sister’s tangent. 

As the night went along, Theo slowly inched his hand higher, eventually brushing up against the hem of your favorite pink skirt. The shiver you’d been fighting back all evening finally went through you, and your response to Theo’s touch made him tighten his grip. 

This is crazy, you thought. What is he fucking doing? 

But you knew good and well you didn’t want him to stop. Theo’s presence, strong and warm and steady, grounded you during this bloody dinner. And he seemed to know that. 

You felt Theo’s breath against your cheek as he whispered, “You alright, angel? You seem a bit… distracted.”

Theo shifts his hand higher, now fully under your skirt, so painfully close to the place you need him to touch you most.

Breathlessly you whisper, "What- what are you doing, Theo? My sister is right there and-"

His hand ghosts over your damp panties, stopping you mid sentence. A low groan rumbles in Theo's chest.

"Be quiet for me, baby. Let me give you what you need. We might just get away with it. Don't make a sound. Everyone is distracted." His tone leaves little room for argument.

Theo cleverly casts a wandless disillusionment charm, making the two of you much less noticeable to the rest of the dinner party.

His fingers slip beneath your panties, eliciting a soft gasp from you both. "So wet for me, love." Theo looks almost pained by how turned on he is, and your gaze lands on his lap, his hard length visible through his pants. You go to reach for it, but Theo stops you.

"Behave, baby. This isn't about me, not tonight."

Theo's fingers relentlessly work you over, and a tight heat begins to build in your belly. You have to fight to keep from moaning, using all of your will power just to keep quiet.

"Theo- please, just- I need-" You mumble out, barely understandable.

Theo sinks two fingers into you, knowing exactly what you need. He pumps in and out of you, bringing you to the brink. You didn't know it could feel like this, be this good-

"Give it to me, love. That's it-" Theo whispers. His words have you unraveling, finishing hard.

You barely have time to collect yourselves. Theo fixes your panties, and puts your skirt back in place, smoothing it back over your thighs.

The disillusionment charm must shatter, because your sister finally seems to remember her fiancé is present at the table. "Tell me, Theodore darling, how would you feel about a honeymoon in Paris?"

Theo sighs, "Sure, of course. Whatever you want."

You stifle a laugh.

This wedding isn't happening. You'll make sure of that.

Theo glances over at you, his stare heated and meaningful. He seems to know exactly what you're thinking.

And for the first time that evening, Theo smiles.

Says he’ll pull an all nighter with you only to fall asleep the moment he hits the bed.

Late night cooking sessions. He’s the chef while you are the apprentice.

Imagine a late night dance off. It’s hilarious!

Just pure shenanigans at night. He wants to do that challenge where you try not to laugh with water. He’s a champion unless you pull some crazy shit out of your ass. Then he’s losing

Late night truth or dares. Theodore would promise that his dares won’t be crazy only to lie.

Doing a late night “never have I ever” is definitely on the table so he can know more about you and you can know more about him

The cold crisp air of Scotland pierces through your skin, even on a warm day like today. Sunlight wafts through the curtains and you can almost smell the dewey grass from your place in bed. Not that you’re going to leave, anyway. The warmth sucks you back in, as well as your human radiator of a boyfriend who has his arms wrapped around you, keeping you safe and secure, pulled against his chest.

The rise and fall from his breathing has you entranced in your bleary morning state, and while you would love to stay and keep cosy and work you really, really, need to pee. However, one slight predicament is that your squirming in attempt to get out of his hold is doing absolute nish. 

“Theo, theo please” you tap at his arm incessantly, getting nothing but a tired hum from him. Fine, if that’s how he wants it to be time to pull out the big guns. With one forceful gesture you sit up straight, not that he's bothered, and then loudly announce that you’re headed back to your own common room  to ‘study with Charlie from potions’, a shy guy with an obvious crush on you according to Theo.

Now he’s up.

“Oh, no your not,” his voice is deep from the morning “I’m top of class, you’ll study with me” his arms wrap around your sides and tug you closer. Not so gracefully, you fall back and your head hits the pillow. If your darling boyfriend had opened his eyes and saw then he would definitely be smirking right now from how that was just meant to be.

“You won’t have a girlfriend to study with if you don’t let me go to the loo Theo!”

With a dramatic huff and a fake whinge he lets go, sitting up with a dopey smile to watch you scurry off. 

When you get back you just straight back into his bed, huddling close and stealing his warmth. A welcome change from the cool air. Theo sits back, letting you rest your head on his shoulder. Teasingly, he pokes your side. “Thought you had to leave and study with good old Charlie?”

“I lied” you cling to him, physically moving his arms for him so that they wrap around you like earlier.

"I know" he chuckles.

Harry Potter Headcannons

1. I think Harry is short, (or shorter than most people think,) I know most people think he’s tall because James is tall but Harry grew up with the Dursleys, in the first book it’s said that he was always small and skinny for his age he has the build of a seeker, which is small. Although I do believe he gets stronger and more muscular in the later books I think that due to the neglect and abuse at the dursleys hands he would still be small.

2. He’s a fast runner and climber, I believe this because of the mention of ‘Harry hunting’ in the first book, I haven’t read it in a while but I believe it says that he often ended up in trees, while some of this can be attributed to magic like how he got on the roof of his school, I think he learned how to climb to get away. He can outrun everyone in his year and has freaked people out when they see how fast he can climb trees and walls.

3. He sleeps like he’s still in the cupboard, this one is a little more sad but I think he still sleeps curled in a ball, he spent 10 years in the cupboard and I think he never really grew out of that.

4. Another thing about the cupboard is I think he find comfort in small dark places, (reminiscent of a cat,) the cupboard was always a safe place that only petunia could reach properly therefore he couldn’t get hurt.

5. I also think that once he got Hogwarts he found cupboards, closets, and other small places to hide in that he could go to to calm down. While looking for these places he found more secret passages.

6. He takes walks around the castle at night under the invisibility cloak, he enjoys the freedom that he never got in the muggle world.

7. Relating back to number 4, I think his animagus form would a cat, no real reason other then I think it fits him, although I have read fics where he is a fox and I think that’s a good one too.

8. He’s touch starved and love getting platonic cuddle time with his friends, I think the golden trio is very affectionate towards each other so they are often found in a pile in the common room. I also think Harry and Luna are affectionate to each other, they know each other in a way that’s different than their other friends and I think that’s cute.

9. Harry and Luna feed the Thestrals together and I think sometimes Theo (Nott) joins them.

Theodore Nott Headcannons

Personality

He is often the quietest in the group. He tends to hang back, observing the dynamics around him without jumping into conversations unnecessarily. While Theodore is extremely intelligent, he prefers to keep his thoughts to himself unless he finds it necessary to share.

While he adores his friends, he doesn’t necessarily crave attention or constant companionship. He values his alone time, a lot of the time he wants read, or be alone with his thoughts

When Theo makes jokes, it’s often laced with sarcasm. He doesn’t joke around as much as Lorenzo or Mattheo, but when he does, it catches people off-guard.

“Yes, because clearly the universe revolves around your minor inconvenience”

“I’m sure the world will never recover from such an earth-shattering defeat.”

“your ability to state the obvious is truly a gift to humanity. We’re all in awe, really”

Theodore nott is definitely an old soul. He feels older than his age, often seeing life with a maturity a lot of people lack. His home life forced him to grow up faster, and he sometimes has a gloomy side to him because of it.

Theo loves reading, and you’ll often find him with a novel in hand. He uses literature as an escape from the real world and his struggles.

Theo has a smoking habit that he picked up from his father. It gives him something to do when he’s stressed, and he’ll often step outside for a smoke when he needs a break from everything. It’s his way of calming the knot in his chest.

Theo tends to stay up late, especially when he’s overthinking. He’s the type to be awake at 3 AM, staring at the ceiling or smoking on the balcony.

In a relationship

Theodore may not be loud about his affections (out of fear), but he’s deeply protective of those he cares about. If you’re in a relationship with him, you’ll feel a quiet sense of security around him. He’s the type to stay calm during arguments or conflicts, always trying to find a rational solution.

“I understand where you’re coming from, but yelling isn’t going to solve anything. Let’s just talk it out, okay? Tesoro— ”

Of course, he’s not perfect. There’ll be times where Theodore’s words will cut deep, words you may not be able to unhear.

“Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t realize I was supposed to cater to your ego. Maybe next time get upset over something that actually matters”

Theodore does not participate in PDA. Despite this, Theo is quite affectionate behind closed doors. He’s one for long hugs, soft kisses, and lying in comfortable silence together.

He shows love through actions rather than words. He’ll remember your favorite snack, make sure you’re okay during a bad day, and stay up late listening to your worries. He’ll always be there for you in little ways.

“Wait, you remembered I was out of these?”

“You’ve been running low for a week. Thought you could use a refill.”

“You didn’t have to…”

“Of course I did, Amore”

Theo thrives in relationships where he can have deep, meaningful conversations. He loves talking about books, life, the future, and his personal philosophies. He’s not very into small talk or superficiality.

Though typically calm, Theodore has a subtle possessive streak. He won’t throw tantrums or make scenes, but he’ll become more withdrawn and quietly fume while someone flirts with you.

“I’m not worried. I just don’t like sharing”

Because of his past and reserved nature, Theo doesn’t open up easily. It will take a while for him to fully trust someone, but once you’ve gained his trust, he’s all in.

Friendships

Theo and Draco have a respect-based friendship. Draco’s loud and more dominant, but Theo’s calm nature balances him out. Theo doesn’t indulge in Draco’s dramatics or pettiness, which sometimes frustrates Draco. However, Draco relies on Theo’s level-headedness during tense moments.

“This is ridiculous. I can’t believe they’re siding with him over me”

“Getting worked up isn’t going to fix anything”

“Well, I’m not just going to sit back and let them walk all over me”

“No one’s walking over you. But if you want to make things worse, keep shouting”

Mattheo brings out Theo’s more reckless side. They share a dark sense of humor and sometimes go on late-night adventures together. Theo enjoys Mattheo’s intensity but also knows when to draw the line when Mattheo goes too far.

“Im sneaking out tonight. You in?”

“As long as it doesn’t end with us locked in the tower again”

“I’ve got it figured out this time”

“I’ll believe it when I’m not running from Filch”

Theo and Blaise have a mutual understanding. Both are more reserved compared to Draco and Mattheo. They often sit in comfortable silence together or gossip about what they’ve observed.

“He practically drooled. Thought he was gonna propose right there.”

“If he keeps that up, he’ll need a restraining order.”

“At least he’ll finally get some attention, I guess.”

Lorenzo, being the more social and humorous one, often tries to get Theo to lighten up. Though Theo finds Lorenzo’s antics mildly annoying at times, he appreciates his carefree spirit. Theo won’t show it, but he enjoys Lorenzo’s ability to make him laugh on bad days.

“You know, if you smiled more, you might actually be fun”

“And if you shut up more, I might actually enjoy your company.”
