ONE PIECE X CHIMERA READER
-Tittle-
"The truth"
In the battle of Onigashima. You transform the original chimera form, and then the evil scientist(Dr. Howl) gets your blood in the bottle and drink.
Dr. Howl transforms a gaint original chimera with red eyes, skin of black, a head of male lion. You attacked him and fell to the hole that law made while battling with big mom.
Dr. Howl fell to the lava, and you survived when kaido was defeated. The people started looking for you, even the Luffy crew, law crew, kidd crew, and (C/N).
Until they found your chimera form laying on the ground, not breathing. But your human body is inside the chimera body like Attack on Titan where people transform into titan and their body is inside.
Zoro grabbed his sword and cut your stomach, but medium. (C/N) decided to go in and find an organs that might be your body inside once she took it out, zoro cuts the organ.
But nothing, then (C/N), realize something, something that is terrible, and it's her worst nightmare. She went inside your body again and grabbed another organs.
She asked zoro to cut, and he did.
"What is this?!" Said Nami, then (C/N)
Then, a huge clump of hair bones, "did (Y/N) ate somebody?" Said Law with surprise look. "Animals that swallow their prey in whole spits out the indigestible parts at once. However, (Y/N) use it to fuel for her fire breath instead," said (C/N).
Then (C/N) found something surprisely, she put her hand inside the clump, everyone was gross out. (C/N) pull a hair, "a strand of hair! could it be..." Said yamato.
"Let's sort through it. We might find human bones." Said (C/N), everyone got some buckets and cleaned the bloody bones. Then Robin saw bloody pictures that reminded her something.
Then it hits her, "Hey, isn't that..." Robin held the picture in front of everyone. Luffy remembers the picture, and he snatches the picture. "Hey! (C/N) Look! This picture!" When luffy was about to say something.
Everyone stomach dropped when (C/N) held a skull and said something that made everyone jolt. "(Y... (Y/N)"
"No.." said momo, "(Y/N)" saying that name makes everyone just drop. Some people cried, some people looked away, and some people didn't want to look away.
But (C/N) has a plan. She got something out of her bag, a book (like thistle book from delicious in dungeon). "(C/N), what are you doing?" Ask Law, "I know a spell that brings (Y/N) back to life." She said.
Everyone looks at (C/N) has she flip the page. "What are you talking about?" Said jinbe.
"The greater the damage one's flesh, the more likely their soul is to depart. The main reason some resurrection fails is the soul's departure or the incomplete restoration of the body." She says.
"So, what do we do?"
"Bring a revivifer and resurrect her right here. But it requires twice the calories of the damaged parts to restore her. They'll need to bring a substantial amount of fresh blood and flesh along."
"But they'll rot on their way here..." But Kidd was cut off by (C/N), "I done this before, so I'll do it again." She said, "(C/N), what do you mean?" Luffy asks.
"I'll explain later, but we have an abundance of fresh blood and flesh right here." (C/N) points the chimera corps. Everyone understands now what she is about to do.
"Are you going to resurrect her? Using chimera flesh?" Chopper asks, "I've been silent about it because I didn't want to alarm you. But I specialize in the study of ancient magic that's forbidden now."
"I think using that is the only way we can bring her back." Robin wide eye realizing of what (C/N) is talking about. "Black magic? (C/N), you said that magic is dangerous if the government knows about this. Who knows what gonna happen!" Said Robin
"I know, but it way to bring my cousin back." She said, "Okay." Everyone look at luffy, "bring (Y/N) back, " he said. (C/N) nodded. She grabbed a knife and cut her hand.
(C/N) grabbed her staff and drew a mark on the ground, drew a circle of (Y/N) skeleton and the chimera corps. (She also stacks (Y/N) body skeleton to place)
After she had done, she placed her staff and said the black magic spell. "O Pillitsham. O Villaru. Casuzameo Rotokt Artumcuks."
Then everyone started to hear some whisper, making them creepy out about it.
"O Kunquikeo. Eoktum Kome. Tumao Elm Finktow Kenesfo. Aoewauk Aentujon. Tumao Elm Finktow Kenesfo."
The chimera corps blood observe (Y/N) bones and begins to form her body. "Aoewauk Aentujon..." Then (C/N) faint, "(C/N)!" Said Franky, chopper came up to (C/N) and check on her. "Don't worry, she just fainted," he said.
Law look at (Y/N) body that cover of blood, "did it work?" He said, luffy came up to (Y/N), kneel down. "(Y/N)?" Then (Y/N) eyes open, then cough, "(Y/N)!" Luffy screamed.
"Her air passage is blocked with blood." Said Chooper, "try to stay calm and spit it out." He said. (Y/N) throws up with blood, giving her a chance to breathe.
(Y/N) look at luffy and everyone else, "Guys..." She said, luffy hug her so as everyone else. Nami cried so as the others.
"Wow, you have feet now!" Luffy shouts, it's seems you know a human body, but still you can transform a chimera but half body.
Later...
"Okay, (C/N). Tells us what happened." Said Law, with luffy, kidd, and the other crews. (C/N) let out of the sigh. "Okay, I'll tell you what happens."
It was a long time ago, when (C/N) and (Y/N) was little, they love magic. (Y/N) want to be the best wizards of all. They're at the library of (C/N) store.
They're playing hide and seek. Later, when (C/N) was hiding, a book hit her on the head.
(C/N) see a book with one eye with feathers on it. She doesn't know what it is, so she took it to show (Y/N) the book. Then, (C/N) and (Y/N) were at the forest, looking for items to make spells to study.
They want to learn spell, so they can go on an adventure, but a chimera appears out of nowhere and started to attack them.
(Y/N) push (C/N) away before the chimera eats her, but chimera caught (Y/N) and ate her alive. (C/N) was horror and frustrated that he grabbed the book that she had just found.
And use the spell, then kill the chimera. Then (C/N) passed out, and when she woke up. Then she realized what had just happened. She ran up to chimera belly and cuts open with the small knife.
(C/N) search (Y/N), then found her but realized she was already dead. (C/N) flip the page of the book, searching any spell to bring her back.
Then (C/N) found the spell to bring (Y/N) to normal, she cas the spell, she read very close so she won't mess up.
Finally, (C/N) cast the spell by using chimera corps as (Y/N) corps body. When she finished it, something went wrong.
(Y/N) has the chimera lower body. When everyone realizes what just happened, the news spreads, and the government wanna lay hand on chimera (Y/N) and the black magic book.
They ordered the marine to capture them and bring to them, they did. But (C/N) use the spell to teleport her and (Y/N) somewhere else.
And started their own journey.

Do you think Zoro would get to meet the other strawhats in your Odd Goth Family au? Because I have been thinking about how he’d meet Luffy for way too long long at this point.
Picture this: You’re Mihawk, opening the door after an ungodly amount of ringing at rapid speed to see a … sticky little thing looking up at you with a wild grin. You realize that this is Garps boy and he probably shouldn’t even be here, but you know that Shanks is in the neighborhood again and that this kid follows him around like a lost puppy, so it’s not like he’s technically unsupervised. „May I…. Help-„ You get interrupted immediately„Can the green haired boy come out and play?“ The sticky thing cranes his neck to look behind you into the hallway, like you have hidden said green haired boy like a delightful surprise at a birthday party he’s not supposed to see yet, and makes a step forward. You hastily step aside in front of him again to stop him from getting any further, hoping you to not discourage this overeager boy from wanting to play with your son, while also trying to stay away far enough from his grubby little hands to not risk staining your white dress shirt. „He’s… upstairs. I can certainly ask him if he wants to play, but he just got home and wanted to take a na-„ „I caught a beetle!“
Your son gasps and dashes from his lookout spot behind the plant on the first floor, abandoning his hiding spot from where he has been watching both of you with suspicion ever since you opened the door to this weird child. Said child holds up a a dirty old Tupperware box, containing a large atlas beetle. Great care has been employed to make sure the bug has enough soil, sticks and leaves, as well as making sure to dutifully poke some holes into the old lid for airflow.
„I CAUGHT A BEETLE!“ „AWESOME!“ „I’m Luffy. Want to go catch frogs?“ „Hell yeah!“ „ZORO! Put your shoes on before you go outside!“ Your son grumbles and dashes back in, not even bothering to lace up his sneakers before he zips right back. „AND MAKE SURE YOU GET BACK BEFORE ITS DARK!“
Aw this is so cuutte!
Ive already had an idea to how he meets the strawhats for a while! (I want the order to be similar to canon with a twist hehe) I just never got to continuing the comic yet. Ive been mega busy with things my life so thats gonna be a while. I love this though its adorable! Mihawk’s first impression of the strawhats will be very silly and hes gonna be very confused (and so will zoro)

I have this half idea in my head and I'm going to word barf if here so maybe it inspires someone instead of living in my head. And this is a weird one because I just wanted to focus I guess on consent and how it might play a part in different plot ideas.
How doing something on your terms is different than doing it on someone else's, no matter what the intention.
I did a post a long time ago with a similar idea for Hawks (mha) and having fans touch his wings vs having friends or a significant other.
⚠️This might be all over the place but I swear it all comes together in the end. ⚠️
Recently I had a post where I discussed Zoro and the crew basically keeping their vulnerabilities to themselves. Sure, everyone has seen them cry or bleed at some point but the real, gritty stuff is kept to themselves. Not out of shame, but love. Only they get to see each other truly weak or broken. And this kind of goes with that idea.
I wanted to kind of focus on consent with this idea, on allowing someone to see you when you aren't comfortable.
It can be such a honor to see someone when they don't want to be seen, they they trust you to love them when they don't see themselves as loveable.
Zoro is a proud guy. He's strong, talented, usually very likable, attractive, etc He's also half naked in basically every battle and all the good stuff like that. But that's a choice.
I think it's different to be bare when you're fighting, when people look at you with fear and respect, or when blood provides a barrier between your skin and the world.
I also think Zoro is a pretty dude. Fight me about it. He's built like a brick shit house and I think he'd be beautiful with some eyeliner. I've also written posts about Zoro being beautiful in all the ways humans are. In the way he laughs, the ways his muscles move, the way he looks at the crew, etc.
Let people be beautiful and bloodthirsty, you cowards.
People have to know Zoro is attractive by now. So what do people do when they think someone is attractive and not living up to their full potential? They have makeovers, the ugly girl has a girls night with the cheerleader and comes back to school dolled up and stunning. The ugly duckling blossoms into a beautiful swan. The guy in the gas station tells you that you'd be prettier if you smiled. The old woman next door tells you that you'd be so much prettier if you stopped dying your hair blue and took off all that makeup.
Garbage.
Now, on to the actual fic idea.
I think this specific idea came from the concept of people just adoring Luffy. People are going to and/or already do fucking worship Luffy, take your pick for why. And it makes sense that someone they worship should be surrounded by beautiful things.
Somehow that leads a group/cult/whatever to the brilliant idea of taking Zoro and trying to surprise Luffy.
Which, nooo.
You could argue the group who takes Zoro mean well, they just think that the Sun god should have someone dressed like sun next to them. It makes sense, okay?
A bloody, demon next to the Sun god just isn't the right vibe. Plus they keep hearing the swordsman is kind of attractive, so really this is basically them helping.
They kidnapped Zoro, which is as impressive as it is concerning, and when the strawhats come for Zoro, they are presented a crewmate worthy of a sun god. At least, according to the people stupid enough to take Zoro from them.
So in reality the groups/cult/whatever present, complete with *jazz hands* and eager excitement, a very ruffled and upset Zoro.
They talk nonstop the entire time. Praises and stories, how devoted they are, how much they love Luffy, why they did all this, all the stuff creepy cults say to supposedly show devotion.
So I picture Zoro way over the top, a tribute to a beloved god after all.
He's clean, a vast amount of tan skin bared and shimmering, and a silver eye narrowed. All while drapped in gold jewelry and accessories.
There's gold bands around his wrists and wrapped around his upper arms. Thin gold chains around his neck of different lengths and types. He's barefoot with ankle bracelets covering his scars
Rings on all fingers. Earrings and ear cuffs in white and gold.
Gold dusted on his cheeks and around his eyes. The barest of black swiped under his eyes, even the closed one. Lips stained just a little darker, like wine
Drapped in white, cream and gold fabrics. Thin gold chains around his waist to help hold the fabric he's wearing.
Every scar visible is painted in with gold.
His chest looks like the dawn breaking the horizon and the scar over his eye looks like it will start dripping sunbeams down his cheek
And really the main question here is, how can anyone possibly look at Zoro and not think he clearly belongs to Luffy?
Every scar now highlighted in gold, every tic of his jaw where he makes himself behave because they're still looking at him and he can tell they're unsure.
That all belongs to them, to Luffy.
Everything on him is a devotional to the crew.
He could be buried in heavy shadows and dark soil, but the sun would still find him. It's in his blood, carved into his skin, and kept close to his heart and loved like his swords. Even if Luffy left a visible mark on Zoro's skin, there wouldn't be a ink in the world dark enough to cover it.
Zoro's ready to rip it all off, even starts breaking some of the thinner chains and handing them to Nami and grumbling about his debt.
There's a slightly franticness to his movements though. A wild look in his eye that you'd only notice if you knew him like they do.
He wipes at his face and it smears the gold like a big brush stroke, hands now golden and leaving trails over his skin as he tries to get everything off. Broken necklaces tangle around his neck from where he snapped them but it's all weaved together, so they just hang there.
He manages to get all the earrings off except his, which chime angrily as he keeps trying to get everything off. Paint flakes on his scars as he moves, the silver, white of the older ones and the raised, pink of the new ones are more edged in gold than covered in it.
The cloth he was drapped in has slipped, barely hanging on around his hips and caught on one of the belt like chains, and it softens the drop to the floor for all the golden things Zoro doesn't give to Nami or the others.
Luffy is actually quiet but uses careful, callused hands to help unhook all the jewelry from his swordsman.
Usopp using his sharp eyes to quickly untangle anything that wouldn't come off quickly.
Franky and Robin offer additional hands when Nami's get full, fully intent of taking compensation from anyone causing their crew so much trouble.
Chopper carefully works his way around Zoro looking for bruises or wounds, he talks nervously the whole time.
Sanji, Jinbei, and Brook are keeping an eye out anyone stupid enough to approach them.
This is a different type of vulnerable than they're use to, but it's still something that makes them all anxious.
Luffy has a face on that doesn't speak of good things to come for anyone involved and it seems like the people responsible have finally caught on. They whisper amoung themselves but the crew only focuses on how Zoro's breathing gets easier with all the things they get off him.
His back is bare of gold when he turns. No scars to paint gold, no perceived flaws to cover. It's such a stark contrast to the rest of his body that it takes a moment to process.
Honestly, it might be what finally snapped the crew into baring teeth and drawing blood. The vulnerably. The familiar broad back in front of them like it was ready to take another blow so they wouldn't have to. Clear of scars, no wounds of shame, not that anything on Zoro could be shameful.
It was just clean skin, warm, alive, and all Zoro. Nothing else.
And their swordman was uncomfortable. He was trembling just the smallest bit in a way he never did unless he was losing too much blood. His pupil blown when he managed to make eye contact with one of them. Nails catching on skin in a desperate attempt to get everything off that made blood raise up and bead along the vivid scratches.
I think Luffy would figure it out first, he'd know immediately.
Nami and Robin next though. They've seen that wild, desperate desire to get someone eyes off, they've worn that look themselves before.
The rest catch on quickly. They're carry too much of each other to not realize what's happening.
And the truth is, Zoro is very eye-catching. And they'll carefully let him know that later, when he's back safe on the ship with them and only their eyes to look at him, only their attention to worry about. When it's clear that it's a compliment given from love and not something taken for desire.
But Zoro's the most stunning when he's comfortable. Especially when he curls his lips back in a snarl and he looks like their Zoro.
When he gets his swords back and wears blood and gold equally on his skin. He looks like someone worthy of a king and it's just another thing that solidifies that he belongs to Luffy and the crew.
Do I think Zoro would wear this for the crew if they ever asked? Yes.
Would he like the attention? Yes.
Because he's decided to be vulnerable for them and only them.
Weeeee consenting poly strawhat vibes for the win with this one.

“Feels like an eternity…”
—Zolu, situated after Whole Cake Island arc, fluff, short
Words: 700
*・゜゚・*:.。..。.:*・
Eyes closed, Zoro drowned his thoughts in more and more gulps of sake. A sweet taste flooding his throat, alcohol catching up to his brain…yet that bright smile and loud laughter remained strong within him. No amount of distractions could get the now ronin to forget such dazzling details of a certain person. He had never felt such a thing, his chest heavy when breathing as if something was missing. Yet, he couldn’t allow himself a single second of pondering about it. The mission was more important, and he knew well that if he ever dared to explore his mind he would end up going mad. Losing his head wasn’t too far away from a result even with those restrictions, though.
Taking a deep breath, he placed the empty bottle down and took the impulse to get up. Stumbling a bit, he turned around and admired the colossal dessert before him. Roronoa could feel the heat coming from his oesophagus towards every limb and chunk of skin, muscles relaxed yet tried his best to stay alert. Unfortunately, but as expected, he couldn’t control his mind or body whatsoever. The green-haired boy had never found himself in such a vulnerable position, never had he gotten drunk before ensuring safety. Perhaps drinking wasn’t the best option, but he couldn’t help himself. What would you expect from a poor man who so desperately misses his dear captain? Only inebriated could he admit this. He knew Luffy was an important part of his life but…to such an extent?!
Zoro made his way across the sizable piles of sand, falling to his knees several times. As the sun shined down upon his already bronze skin, sweat seemed to never stop slipping from the very top of his head to down his covered legs. At some point through the journey, the half top of his kimono ended up laying against his bottom half. Even after the heat decreased a degree or two, the vertigo and disequilibrium brought him down once and for all. Laying on his back, Roronoa felt sand sticking to his drenched back and neck. Even at this point, he kept only one thing in mind: his commander.
Thanks to the dehydration and tiredness, his mind started playing games on him. Few moments after giving in to the exhaustion, he could swear he glimpsed a very peculiar hat…one made of straw. In pure despair, he brought his torso up and looked everywhere. Eye moving rapidly from side to side, up and down, he couldn’t seem to find again what he thought he had seen. Once again, while he was about to lay down, not only did he spot the straw hat but was caught by surprise by a marvellous sound. Almost as a melody, the delightful frequencies made Roronoa melt away. Not the heat, not the sweat, not the tiredness, but this. He felt as if he was in paradise,
“Heaven is what they call it…right?” he chortled.
The most atheistic man on the surface of the Earth has now considered the possibility of a blissful afterlife, all to search for an explanation to the intense feeling within his heart. There was no way anything mortal could make his chest ache, or make him stay awake at night picturing a certain face. That breath-taking sound was Luffy’s laughter.
Moments away from Zoro fading away and drowning bottom-deep into his hallucinations, he was brought back by a pair of hands holding him tight. Shutting his eye open, he was met with the most ravishing face. His captain, with a bright kimono hugging his rough skin and that damn hat hanging from his neck. Without a second thought, Roronoa pulled himself up and into Luffy’s chest.
“Ah- Zoro, I’ve been searching for you!” Uttered the black-haired boy.
The ronin could only crack a smile in reply, no words could explain the happiness which was now flooding him. Still a bit drunk, he grabbed Luffy’s head by the cheeks and forced eye contact.
“Those eyes…quit making the sun insecure” said Zoro, and in response his commander could only stare wide-eyed. A soft smile was painted upon his face, right before closing the distance between him and his first nakama. Giving a quick kiss, Roronoa was practically brought back to life.
“C’mon, get up. We have to get going, you’re not the only sick one here!” Luffy said, rapidly wrapping his arm around the other man’s torso to throw him on top of the yellow dog. Zoro, left speechless, was only able to frown his eyebrows and crack a grin.

Chapter 1 - One Bright Day on the High Seas (Zoro - One Piece)
Chapter 1 wordcount: 2811
I gotta say - writing the chaos of the Strawhat Crew is both fun and difficult, but I thought I pulled it off quite well. This is also the first of the pictures I drew and Sanji's face fought me the entire time. *cries*
Fun Facts: there's a reference in this chapter that was inspired by a Whitewolf Campaign I was in when I was in college. Not that I expect anyone to have gotten it, but I had fun writing it in anyway.
In the campaign, a Stargazer werewolf finds Frank, a vampire, in the hold of a ship. Frank is often drunk and he's like "Where am I?" The Stargazer says, "On a boat leaving Japan." Frank says, "Wait, I was in Japan?!!!" and for some reason, that interchange stuck with me, so it snuck in.
I tell you, that Whitewolf Campaign was one of the ones I had the most fun in, and we wound up with a lot of good quotes and one liners that one of our players took quite a bit of care to keep track of and present to us at the end of that campaign. Which was very useful to me as I was transcribing the entire thing down as a story. In fact, that may very well be the first time I 'finished' a writing project that wasn't a short story. It certainly helped the formation of my writing skills.
Teaser:
Zoro scratched his head and yawned, stretching out under the Mikan trees.
It was a nice day: warm, with the right amount of breeze to not only keep the Merry chugging along the Grand Line, but to take the bite off the heat of the sun.
There were no ships and no islands in sight, and so it was a bit of a surprise when the silence was broken by a shout. Which, in and of itself, wasn’t unusual. But he didn’t recognize the shout that precipitated a thud and several more voices rising in the cacophony that Zoro had long since gotten used to.
This crew was lively, rambunctious, and good spirited. It made for a lot of noise at times. Zoro was fairly practiced at sleeping through it all, but the unknown voice had him instantly on edge.
Leaping to his feet in the space of a heartbeat, Zoro looked at the lower deck with a hand ready to draw.
He saw a confused boy, no more than 15 or 16 years of age, maybe, so not too much younger than the rest of them. Probably older than Chopper, but Chopper's age was hard to gauge. He had a shock of black hair, with brown eyes and was wearing black pants with yellow cord wrapping around his leg below the knee. His shirt was yellow gold with long sleeves and a matching bandana. A red umbrella was slung through the top of the backpack, and he was currently dodging Luffy as his eyes just about bugged out of his skull.

Glad you enjoyed :D I was always curious how Traffy and the rest of Strawhats get anything to eat in Wano, meanwhile Law's powers are like perfect for sneakily stealing small amounts of food. So who knows! It's just peculiar that Luffy would even pay attention to people complaining about stolen food in the middle of that chaos before, especially with Tama in danger. But it's Luffy, he always manages to surprise me despite the fact his reactions are often so predictable haha.
Law and Luffy's reunion in Wano makes me happy like nothing else! I'm not obsessed with them, I swear. Okay maybe I am. And that reunion reminds me of one more fun observation, this time less comedy and more whimsical and serious:
Instead of a greeting, Law tells Luffy "This is rebellion" (to which Luffy replies "no, it isn't!"). Btw Law never does any greetings, like ever. Not even to his crew when they reunite in Zou. He would rather die than say "hi", that's the kind of guy he grew up to be, lol. One of my friends is exactly the same which might be why I find it so funny.
And then we have this scene, few chapters later. Luffy remembered what Law actually told him (he did pay attention!): this was rebellion, it will have consequences, and now Luffy takes it seriously and is worried about people in Okobore town. Law's answer is very interesting here, because it's kinda callback to this one:
And this gives a new light on why he reacted so strongly here. Headcanon interpretation time!
Law knew this rebellion will have bad consequences, and while he mostly complains that it will bring troubles for their alliance and the future raid, he must have been aware already that the biggest backlash will fall on people of Okobore town for something Luffy did without thinking too much about it. And despite knowing that - he doesn't comment on it besides this little comment about "pirates doing nice things for people". He could have scolded Luffy here, tell him how his "good deed" will end and point out that it will be Luffy himself feeling sorry in the end, but... he didn't.
I think he wanted Luffy to see the consequences of his actions, to teach him a lesson (again, isn't that what an older brother figure would do?) while just watching over him. He could have just told him and see Luffy trying to beat everyone up to defend Okobore town, but that wouldn't make Luffy truly understand that as a pirate he can do whatever he wants and face no consequences: he can just escape from the country, meanwhile those poor folks at Okobore town are stuck living there all their lives and can't just run away. Sometimes doing the right thing isn't the most obvious thing you can do and you need to always think about consequences of your actions or you might do more harm than good.
That last panel is even more interesting because we have actually three different points of view there about what Luffy did: Law's "this doesn't seem right" reaction, Luffy's "We did something right!" and Kiku's "You did something wrong: stealing is wrong". This really shows how Wano arc is just so different from other arcs, kinda more mature in story (but still has stupid gimmicks, god bless Oda for that). Because what makes a good deed truly a good deed? When you're proud of yourself, thinking you helped but actually did it for your own sake? Or by abiding to higher morals: don't do right by having to do wrong first? Or making sure to keep in mind consequences of your actions as well, while not even caring to take the credit for the deed? That last one sounds to me like a definition of a hero and while that's Law's prefered answer here raises many interesting question marks. We know by now he idolizes Sora Warrior of the Sea after all.
I like how Law's lesson here concludes. Luffy isn't even there with him, but Law stays firm in his belief, even if it means ignoring people in need at the moment. The lesson extends to the whole of Strawhats crew. Law instead tries to focus on the bigger picture, because one small rebellion is not gonna overturn the whole country so that people can finally live in a better place. One can read it as well as sacrificing small things for the big reward, I guess, but I don't think that suits Law's personality in particular:
He actually likes to share and focuses on smaller things, while leaving the big reward to others. And how did Luffy define a hero again? One that gives away his food to others? *looks at the picture again* again a certain someone gets hero-coded here Luffy can share the meat, but he also wants to have the meat for himself as well. Meanwhile Law has no problem with sharing, but he makes sure to take a few bites too. They really fill each other's gaps there.
Also I might like to ramble about Law a bit too much. I could discuss him for hours.
Wano lawlu is so boyfriend-coded in the funniest way because you have Luffy who was wrongly accused of stealing safe food from the farm (which won't matter because he stole the freaking supply in broad daylight) and later on, he found out that Law was the sneaky thief and in hindsight, it's like being accused of his boyfriend's crime which makes it comedic gold after he has done worse. Next, he was unintentionally misguided by Law (the boyfriend) about Kin'emon and the others, scaring himself on the process like my sweet summer child you push zombies back into their graves and encountered devil fruit user that uses ghosts to her arsenal so why are you spooked? Is it the way Law cryptically tells the story, moreso, his tone serious as he regarded it with utmost secrecy as its not his truth to laid bare? Luffy, who is known to deep dive directly into trouble and isn't even fazed by the horrors of Thriller Bark, was startled enough to scream.
Law, on the other hand, was neck deep in conversation among the Strawhats and the samurais as if he's talking to his future in-laws. The funniest shit has got to be Sanji calling out Law about the ruckus and you have him reacting like you of all people shouldn't blame me, your captain who is also my boyfriend ally did it and I think it was Chopper or Nami that apologized for the trouble that Luffy has caused and Law reminded them about their main agenda then says he'll go after Luffy (his reckless boyfriend) who took off five minutes ago to fight Kaido.
Like, you can't convince me nothing happened before they temporarily separated in Zou because their Wano interactions felt like they spent a lot of time off screen, especially post-Dressrosa.
(Speaking of off screen bonding, I needed the StrawHearts interactions.)
Yeah, I am normal about them.

💓 One Piece men and how they would realize they have a big fat crush on you (PART 6)
[part 1 w/ Law, Zoro, Shanks & Smoker] [part 2 w/ Sanji, Sabo, Kid & Rayleigh] [part 3 w/ Ace, Izou, Marco & Thatch] [part 4 w/ King, Yamato, Denjiro & Who’s Who] [part 5 w/ Roger, Luffy, Rosinante & Killer]
a/n: this is without doubt my favorite fluff hc series to write ahh. also a wild mix of characters this time. was i looking for an excuse to write Kaido fluff and needed three more characters? yeah I GUESS. sorry Usopp for putting you next to all those huge scary men ily i swear
Usopp
you must have the softest soul if someone like Usopp crushes on you
he is drawn to you like the tide to the moon, radiating around you on tiptoes
watching you throughout the day, when you were both working in silence on your projects together, he couldn't help but acknowledge how his heart skipped a beat
he would definitely pick you flowers or braid you a bracelet, something that says "i've been thinking about you" without making it too obvious because he is shy after all
i can see him talking to Nami or Sanji about his crush first, seeking their advice on how to act or if they could tickle out some information out of you if it is mutual (of course it is...)
Usopp isn't the bravest but he sure would grab all his courage to write you a heartfelt letter where he confessed, leaving it under your pillow where you would read it late at night in the dim candlelight, your heart dancing just like the flickering orange lights on the wall
Crocodile
this man loves two things in this world: power and... you obviously
though he probably is still a bit in denial about that. because love? ain't nobody got time for that
he was busy man doing his silly little crimes, but still... he would make time for you
he would catch himself daydreaming about you, thinking about what your kisses would taste like, about you straddling him, how his name would sound coming out of your mouth between two moans...
sounds a lot like having a crush to me huh
Crocodile doesn't play and would command you to his office the next day, waiting for you leaning against his desk with his arms crossed in front of his chest
"am i in trouble?" "depends... do you want to be?"
you do. trouble never tasted sweeter...
Katakuri
babe are you made out of sugar? because this man wants to devour you whole
to his own surprise though
Katakuri is known for being calm in every situation... except when you were around
then his heart would do loopings in his chest, his head feeling all dizzy from this unknown feelings that crawled upon him
not even his merienda was fun anymore because all he could think about was you whenever he laid down and closed his eyes; and he couldn't help but wonder if you tasted just as sweet as all those doughnuts...
he would try and keep his calm facade when you asked him for help with some cake frosting, a lame excuse to make him bend down to you
his kenbunshoku haki would fail him because he certainly didn't see you kissing him on his cheek coming, blushing under your touch and hiding his face deeper in his scarf... but with a big, big smile underneath
Kaido
was he drunk or was he in love?
no matter how hard he tried, no amount of sake could wash away the mental picture of your face whenever he closed his eyes
he was used that people bowed to him, yet you were able to hold his piercing gaze with your head held high from the other end of the room, your eyes a mix between curiosity and hunger
you caught his attention with that, he couldn't deny that
after another drunk banquet he would often forget most of the night, but he could never forget the way your hand brushed his, how your slender fingers braided his long hair, how you called him "baby girl" without blinking (and how he kinda liked it)
he knew it was a serious crush when he sobered up first before asking you if you would like to keep him company in his private chambers, maybe longer than just a night
of course you did <3

I may be posting some short things until I get my brain back. My goal is to write quick prompts, less than a page. Admittedly, this one is two, but it's a good start. Not writing wide, but goal wise.
An Alliance Made In Paradise
"So we filled the cake up with hundreds of monkeys and had the old lady who lives in a mirror make them look like me, and then they came jumping out of the cake right in the middle of the party, shishi, can you imagine?"
Zoro cocks his head, considering what a mess only Luffy could make out of a giant cake. He pictures it again, only this time with a hundred Luffys instead of just the one. It's about the same amount of destruction, but more bouncing. "Sure, okay." Zoro shrugs, unbothered by Luffy's questioning his ability to imagine something so simple. It's clear his captain is in one of those excitable moods. It's been a while since he's been this worked up telling Zoro about some big adventure that wasn't one that had only just happened. Of course, it's been a while since he's seen his captain.
The last month or whatever - hard to keep track after being stuffed into some metal can and sunk down below the waves - Zoro has been taking care of those of the crew smart enough to know better than to pay the damn curly brow any attention when females are involved. Please. As though Zoro was about to go save that idiot's ass when he obviously could have defeated them all at Zou and at least waited around until Luffy came. But no, he had to be all dramatic about it and go off on his own. Probably shouting about how brave and selfless he was the whole time, and didn't "Nami-chan" (disgusting) find it attractive how he was acting so nobly? Tch. The cook deserved whatever fate he'd made for himself, that's Zoro's opinion. But he also wasn't going to stop Luffy from going after the idiot cook, not if he was determined to. After all, Luffy is the captain, and if he decides the worthless pervert is worth saving then he would be rescued. Just not by Zoro.
Which is why Zoro spent the last who knows how long with The Heart pirates, heading up to Wano. The crew was weird, in Zoro's opinion. Probably had to do with being cramped up under the sea in such tight quarters. There is just something about them. Plus, there were so many rules. Don't swing that sword around the control panels, you can't just open the hatch when we're submerged, those weights are too big to fit on board. Usopp and Franky seemed to get along with them alright, and Robin had been amused by them the same way she seems amused by everything (including Zoro, and he still hasn't decided if that's good or duel worthy) but Zoro didn't like them. At least most of them. The cook was alright. He didn't make the best food but he wasn't old curly brow. The bear was pretty cool. He liked napping in the sun and sometimes would surface and collapse on the top deck. Zoro often used him like a really fluffy pillow. One time he'd been lying out there when suddenly he heard soft but pointed footsteps. He hadn't been surprised to see Torao in front of him, glaring down at him.
"Well?" The other pirate had said as if they had a whole conversation when actually Zoro had just been dreaming up a new move where he tossed Wado Ichimonji into the air, did the cool cross slash, spun around, and caught it back between his teeth just like that. He just needed to work out a few more details.
Something about Law's face told him that isn't what the other man had come to hear about.
"Well what?" Zoro asked, because what else could he do when he had no idea what Law was talking about. But the other captain, he just made a loud huff of air, turned, and matched back down into the ship.
Zoro still isn't sure what he'd been so upset about.
His captain is a lot easier to understand, at least to Zoro. Whatever he says he does, and whatever he does, he means, unless he hadn't meant to. It's much easier to understand. Luffy doesn't give him cryptic looks, or lecture him in this low but proud voice where Zoro feels like he's being told off for messing up simple kata. He missed having his captain around, even at times like this when the rubber boy is wrapped around his shoulder and waist refusing to walk when he easily could have, and instead choosing Zoro as an ideal ride. All the while happily chatting on about his adventure in escaping some other yonko. Not that Zoro is surprised. Luffy is hardly going to lose against a single damn pirate - yonko or not - not when he's the man who will become king.
"And then everyone started throwing cake which is kind of terrible, because it was probably a really good cake, but it's okay because Sanji made another one! I didn't get to eat it but it smelled so good! I'll bet even you would have liked it, Zoro!"
Zoro just gives a snort at that. He's ot overly fond of sweets to begin with, much less the idea of eating something that damn cook inevitably made while risking his life for some stupid woman who isn't even on their crew. He would grumble about it, but he really has missed Luffy's energy, that sunshine that follows him wherever he goes.
Torao could get excited about stuff, too, it's just different that's all. When Toroa finds something to get excited about, he doesn't bounce around and cling to it and try to lick it just to see how it tastes and pulls Zoro along so he can see it too. He just gets this slight almost smile. It's not really a smile, but his lips form this thin line and turn up in a way that isn't quite joyful and isn't quite easy going. It's not at all silly, but it does look rather dangerous. Zoro doesn't understand a lot about Torao, but that slight smile he understood immediately. The sharpness of it, the way it cuts across the usual frustration and grimness of his face.
Zoro found that almost smile of his usually meant trouble, and Zoro liked that. He also found that some part of him, a weird part locked inside his gut, liked it even without the promise of a sword fight. Zoro isn't sure what that is all about, so he doesn't worry about it. If it were important, Zoro would know. He just would.
"Eh, weddings seem boring. All that stuffy tradition and for what? Just to let people know you like someone you already know you like?" That doesn't sound like a fun time to Zoro, not even with a giant cake pull of monkeys throwing icing in a yonko's face. Now maybe if it were a giant bowl of sake…
"It's not JUST that though," Luffy insists, tugging at Zoro's hair, which he understands means his captain wants him to turn. Only then he pulls again. Urg, make up which way you want to go before pulling at him! "Oh, also!" Even with all the tugging, Zoro doesn't expect the slam to the top of the head. It doesn't hurt, it's just more that he's spent a month adjusting to a captain who doesn't just do shit like that. "Apparently you do weddings for alliances, too!"
Again, Zoro merely shrugs. Other people can do as they like, it's hardly his life and his choice to make. "Which is why you need to marry Torao."
Luffy nearly gets dropped to the floor. The only thing that stops him is the heavy grip he has around Zoro. "What are you talking about!?" Zoro tries to twist back to glare at his captain, but that's tough business when his captain is all smiley and also right behind him here Zoro pointedly can't get a good angle to scowl at. "Luffy! You can't just tell me to marry some other captain!"
From what he can see of Luffy's expression, the pirate is biting his lip. He looks almost… regretful. Only then why would he have been the one to suggest such a crazy thing? "Torao hadn't mentioned that pirate alliances are supposed to have big wedding parties!" And for a moment his eyes brighten and Zoro thinks he can almost see his captain's logic. "Imagine a huge party with all the meat and rice and sake you can eat!" The joy is just a flicker then, and the uncertainty in Luffy's face makes Zoro uncertain, so in response he straightens up, holds Luffy even higher. He won't have his captain doubting himself. "We ARE allies with Torao, though, and Zoro is the first person to join my crew….."
So of course that would be how Luffy would show someone how much the alliance met. Obviously, he wouldn't get married. Being married isn't like having nakama. It's something responsible, adult, restrained. Just like, Zoro imagines, Luffy often sees him. And he knows Zoro would never say no, to deny his orders.
Zoro hopes Luffy knows he would never deny him anything.
Still, his captain doesn't look completely happy, but it's what he's saying he wants. Luffy usually says what he's going to do and does what he says, this is new. He can imagine how furious Torao will be when he learns of this insane new plan, he probably won't even allow it to pass. So Zoro can say yes and feel perfectly comfortable with that choice knowing nothing will come of it.
Or, Law could smile. Nearly smile. He could listen through Luffy's insane ideas and then fix Zoro with this dark look, his lips turning ever so slightly up. He can imagine the chill that runs through him when Torao takes his time looking Zoro over. No, it's not just imagination. Zoro actually shivers.
That stupid feeling in his gut gets tighter some how.
Luffy is staring at him like he wants to take it back but he also really wants that wedding feast and he just isn't sure which way to go. Zoro represses the rest of his reactions. He smiles at Luffy. "Aye, aye, Captain," and he starts heading off towards the ship, he's sure. "Only one condition… You have to be the one to explain it to Torao!"

Hi hii can I please have ASL brother headcanons reacting to their s/o having a higher bounty than them? Thanks luv💜💜💜 IN LOVE with your blog btw😍❤️🔥
Of course 💐!
S/o With Higher Bounty Than Them
<headcannons>
<Ace, Sabo, & Luffy x GN!reader>
๑Ace
Definitely doesn’t expect it- he sees you as his sweet s/o, not someone vicious enough to have a higher bounty than him. A bounty higher than his 550,000,000? That had to be some type of fake poster, maybe even a misprint, right?
He saw one of your wanted posters flying through one of the many islands the crew had been exploring and was astounded by the sheer amount of beli you were worth. He immediately grabbed the poster and showed it to you, asking if it was true. It was obvious that it was genuine, and it even had a good picture of you on it.
He has an undying curiosity to figure out how you got your bounty to such a high price, but doesn’t pry if you don’t tell him. He doesn’t act differently towards you and still loves you as he normally would, but he has a deeper respect for you. Definitely makes sure to not underestimate you.
๑Sabo
He should be shocked, but he expected it. You’re his s/o, which would probably get you a bounty all on its own, but you seem to have something else that caused such a high bounty. He isn’t sure what it is but he hopes you’ll confide in him one day.
While he isn’t surprised you have a bounty, the price on your wanted poster takes his breath away. What could you have done to ever be seen as such a threat to the government that your bounty is higher than his? He knows better than to ask though.
Sabo isn’t exactly happy about your bounty, as you both have to be more than extremely careful whenever you go out, but he’s not disappointed by it. He sees your bounty as proof that you’re able to defend yourself and a sign of strength, which puts a little less stress on him.
๑Luffy
Would be super proud of you. We all know how Luffy gets excited over his own bounty, so when he sees yours is even higher than his he is over the moon. Would definitely be proud of his s/o and tell them how sweet their bounty is.
I could see Luffy as being the type to see who can get a bigger bounty every time there’s a fight. He basically makes it into a game, hoping that he can get his bounty to be even higher than yours one day.
He might get a bit jealous if your bounty is astronomically higher than his, and get somewhat competitive about it. While he is grateful you are strong enough to obtain such a bounty, he starts to wonder why his isn’t as large as yours. That wouldn’t change his love for you though, and is quick to ignore the whole bounty situation in exchange for some time with you.
Thank you so much, (*≧∀≦*) I’m glad you enjoy my blog!

Hello author! Can I ask for K and L for Sanji/Ace please. (Fluff) thankyou!
Fluff Alphabet - Portgas D. Ace
a/n: hiya!!!! Here is ace’s fluff alphabet! 💗I know you only asked for K & L but I hate only answering a few letters of these at a time LMAO 💀ALSOOOOO I’m going to Sanjis at some point too, because I got a lot more angst asks than fluff so yahhhh! Anywayssss hope you enjoy<3333
A-Activities (what do they like to do with their s/o? How do they spend their free time with them?)
Ace absolutely loves to pull pranks on you AND he loves to pull pranks with you. Once a month you actually have an all-out prank war against one another where even the crew fear that they will be caught in the middle of it.
Oh, and true to his character, the two of you spend a lot of time eating food together. It’s very difficult for any normal human being to eat anything close to the amount Ace eats, so more often than not, it’s you staring at him in awe while he scoffs down another plate of food.
B-Beauty (what do they admire about their s/o? what do they think is beautiful about them?)
He finds your smile to be one of the most beautiful things he’s ever seen, it’s even more beautiful when the smile is directed at him. The moment you smile at him everything else in the world seems to melt away. Ace does everything in his power to bring a smile to your face, because when you smile everything else seems to fall into place. (SO CLICHÉ I KNOW BUT IT’S TRUE!)
C-Comfort (how would they help their s/o when they feel down/have a panic attack etc.?)
His go to method of comfort is cuddles. He just wraps his arms around you and gives you lots of forehead kisses. He’ll say all these kind things about you and ask what you need from him. If you’re not sure, or if you don’t feel like talking, he’ll patiently wait until you’re ready to talk.
D-Dreams (how do they picture they future with their s/o?)
In every possible future he envisions, you are there. To Ace, there is no future unless you are with him. It’ll be the two of you living life to the absolute fullest, taking it day-by-day.
He isn’t too keen on having (biological) children as he doesn’t want them to be burdened with the blood of Gol D. Roger.
E-Equal (are they the dominant one in the relationship or rather passive?)
He tends to take the more dominant role in the relationship. It’s just his natural personality that seeps through, it’s truly not intentional. He’s confident and loud so there’s not really any way you can’t not listen to him. However, if you were to voice any opinions or comments, you’ve got all his attention!
F-Fight (would they be easy to forgive their s/o? How are they fighting?)
I talk about his fights with his s/o a little in his angst alphabet. Here it is again!
Fights with Ace, although they don’t happen often, can quickly get out of hand. He’s stubborn and his inability to accept that he’s not always right can cause a minor disagreement to escalate into an all-out fight. On a few occasions you have argued about him never turning his back on an opponent.
Your fights tend to be followed by cooldown time. Things can get quite heated (no pun intended) so you need some alone time and space to breathe. After that though, you comeback together and apologize.
G-Gratitude (how grateful are they in general? Are they aware of what their s/o is doing for them?)
Ace felt unloved and unwanted by the world growing up (save for Luffy and Sabo, oh and Dadan), so it was quite the change to experience the unconditional love you provided him. He will forever be grateful for what you have done for him, in fact, he’s so grateful about it that he can never shut up about it! Much like how he gushes about his ‘stupid kid brother’ to the Whitebeard Pirates, Ace will also never shut up about you to anyone he talks to. Your name somehow always makes its way into any conversation he has.
H-Honesty (do they have secrets they hide from their s/o? Or do they share everything?)
The only secret he kept from you was that he was the son of the Pirate King. He was scared that once you knew, you would view him differently. But over time he was able to see that that would never be the case. So, after telling you that, he never kept anything from you ever again. Ace actually finds sharing secrets with you to be a weight off his shoulders.
I-Inspiration (did their s/o change them somehow, or the other way around? Like trying out new things or helped them overcome personal problems?)
You were another person that was able to show Ace he is worthy of being loved. It’s an insecurity of his that will probably never go away, but that’s okay because you’re more than happy to remind him daily.
J-Jealousy (do they get jealous easily? How do they deal with it?)
I talked about Ace’s jealousy in his angst alphabet! But I’ll go over it again here!
When he gets jealous he turns into such a man child. He’s pouting and moping around while mumbling to himself. He develops quite a petty attitude. If you were to ask him “want to go get something to eat?” he’d respond with “why don’t you just go and ask ____ for some food.” But, as soon as you begin commenting on how jealous he’s acting he’s going to deny it to the end of his days.
K-Kisses (are they a good kisser? What was the first kiss like?)
I feel as though I may give Ace a little too much credit when it comes to this because I want to think that he’d be one of those amazing kissers, like he just has a knack for it. But in reality, that probably wouldn’t be the case.
Ace is more likely to be quite an overexcited kisser. He’s keen and passionate, that’s for sure. But with your first kiss, he’s a little too keen and tries to move way to fast. After some calming down and a little bit of a giggle to one other he’s in the zone.
L-Love confession (how would they confess to their s/o?)
The two of you are just talking and he’s, unsurprisingly, brought up his brother, Luffy. What is surprising however, is when he tells you how badly he wants you guys to meet each other. Your first reaction was “yeah that stands to reason he wants all of us to meet luffy” but before you could say anything Ace is already going on like “yeah, I just can’t wait to have the two people I love most in the world meet. It’d be real cool” (or something along those lines and probably a little less cheesy LMAO). You just stare at him like “heh?” and he stares at you like “uhhhh… yeah I said what I said?”
M-Marriage (do they want to get married? How do they propose? What would the marriage be like?)
Heck yeah, this dude wants to get married! Getting to show you off to everyone? Yes please! Getting to tell you in front of everyone he knows just how much he loves you? BIG YES. Oh, AND a big ass party afterwards? THIS DUDE CANNOT WAIT! Being able to marry you is one of his dreams, and he’s actually been thinking about since the first date you guys went on.
But, he’s really struggling with how to propose to you. He’s gone through every cliché in the book. A ring at the bottom of your glass, in your food, a carriage ride etc. They’re all great ideas but he doesn’t think they suit the dynamic of your relationship. So, he’s going to enlist the help of Whitebeard Pirates and create an elaborate prank (that has a 50/50 chance of going wrong but also still working out exactly as he wanted).
N-Nicknames (what do they call their s/o?)
He likes to call you hot stuff or baby. Initially, these nicknames resulted in a lot of teasing from the other whitebeard pirates but neither of you cared.
O-On cloud nine (what are they like when they are in love? Is it obvious for others? How do they express their feelings?)
Whitebeard and a few of the other division commanders are the first to notice. I mean, it’s not that hard… He is constantly bringing you up in every conversation (if you’re not there) and if you are there, they can’t even get his attention for a moment. You have his undivided attention! It isn’t until Marco or someone says “You’re down baddddd, Ace” that he’s like HUH?
P-PDA (are they upfront about their relationship? Do they brag with their s/o in front of others? Or are they rather shy to kiss etc. when others are watching?)
Ace loves PDA. He is all about kissing you in front of everyone else. So much so that you constantly get told to “get a room!”. Ace loves to show off his relationship with you to the whole wide world. He’s incredibly proud to have found someone that loves him wholeheartedly.
Q-Quirk (some random ability they have that is beneficial in a relationship?)
Well, thanks to his devil fruit, his body temperature tends to run pretty warm, so you have your own personal heater.
R-Romance (how romantic are they? What would they do to make their s/o happy? Cliché or rather creative?)
Ace is romantic in his own way, that’s for sure. He expresses his love through teasing and jokes, but also through quality time. He’s big on that. Making sure all his attention is on you so you know just how much he loves you.
S-Support (are they helping their s/o achieve their goals do they believe in them?)
He has so much faith in your ability to achieve your goals. He wants to be able to help you in any way he can, so if you come to him and ask for help, he would be absolutely ecstatic! Ace just wants to be a part of your success story (in the best way possible, I know some people only want to because then they get credited but that’s not why ace wants to do it at all! Nothing makes Ace happier than seeing those he loves achieve their goals).
T-Thrill (do they need to try out new things to spice out your relationship or do they prefer certain routine?)
Your relationship is already spiced out enough as it is. He’s got an extremely mischievous personality so is constantly getting up to god knows what, and some how always manages to drag you into it. If anything, your relationship could do with a little more routine (but you both are extremely happy with the way it is).
U-Understanding (how good do they know their partner? Are they empathetic?)
Ace is an extremely empathetic individual. He understands a lot more than most, just how awful negative emotions can be (whether that’s sadness, insecurity, anger etc.). So he is quick to your aid whenever something seems to wrong.
V-Value (how important is the relationship to them? What is it’s worth in comparison to other things in their life?)
All relationships in Ace’s life are extremely important to him. He even values them more than his own life. Your relationship is no exception. You’ve shown him love, and accepted him for who he truly is, so there’s nothing he wouldn’t do for you and he makes that very clear every single day.
W-Wild card (a random fluff headcanon?)
He knows all your food orders off by heart. And when I say all your food orders, I mean ALL of them. He knows your food orders for each of your different moods. He memorised them pretty quickly so that he could surprise you with food regardless of your mood.
X-XOXO (Are they very affectionate? Do they love to kiss and cuddle?)
He is an extremely affectionate individual. Ace is practically attached to your hip at every possible moment. An arm will always be thrown around your waist or shoulders, and he literally wants to spend all day smothering you in kisses. He’s shameless when it comes to affection.
Y-Yearning (how will they cope when they are missing their partner?)
He copes by talking about you to EVERYONE. He tells the crew stories about you (mind you these are stories not only that they’ve heard multiple times, but they were also there to witness themselves). It gets to the point where even Whitebeard is like “ya know what Ace, you can go visit them.”
Z-Zeal (are they willing to go to great lengths for the relationship? If so, what kind?)
As I said previously, all relationships in Ace’s life are extremely important to him. We saw what lengths he was willing to go to when Thatch was killed by Blackbeard, and you would be no different. In fact, Ace would be willing to do all of that and so much more, if it was for you.

more than words
50 words; 50 sentences
ao3
#01 - Motion
A spinning kick, a swing of blade — the two meet and hit but don’t hurt, and Nami sighs exasperatedly at such a pathetic display of a mating dance.
#02 - Cool
Zoro stands his ground as his enemy — finally, finally — falls unceremoniously on his back, unconscious, and Sanji thinks for a moment that the sight of Zoro — wild and victorious and ready to take on the world — looks kind of, maybe, slightly cool.
#03 - Young
Brook sees the two — dying to die for each other, the weight of their friends’ lives pulling down their shoulders — and he thinks too many people forget how young they still are.
#04 - Last
The Cook is the last person Zoro would consider lending a hand in a fight — “who would want to work together with that dumbass anyway,” he lies whenever anyone asks, and doesn’t admit that it’s because he trusts Sanji’s ability to stand his ground, wholly and fully.
#05 - Wrong
Sanji knows Zoro, like him, understands better than most — that this nakama thing isn’t just something you’d die for, but something you’d kill for, too.
#06 - Gentle
Sanji manages to catch Kitetsu before it rolls off from the deck during a storm, and in that moment, Zoro knows, from the reverent way he regards the swords in his hands, that this isn’t the first time the Cook has wielded one.
#07 - One
“Calm down, Marimo,” Sanji says with a dismissive wave of his hand when Zoro asks about the sword a few days later, “I’m not about to take your place as the ship’s swordsman; a cook doesn’t use his hands to fight, and I had a terrible teacher anyways.”
#08 - Thousand
“I’m worth two thousand men,” Zoro grumpily says, almost sulking, and Nami can’t resist patting his head like she would to a little boy pulling the pigtail of a girl he has a crush on.
#09 - King
You’re like the prince of Dumbass Kingdom, Zoro says, and it takes Sanji everything in him not to blurt out, Dumbass Kingdom sounds about right; wait ‘till you see the fucking king.
#10 - Learn
Watching Sanji converse fluently with a couple of tourists in a Northern language, Zoro wonders when he will ever stop learning something new about Sanji — or if he ever will, at all.
#11 - Blur
When Zoro finally comes to, the wounds from Bartholomeow Kuma is muted by Chopper’s medicine, a dull throb at the back of his consciousness; but the sharp pain against his heart feels raw still, visceral and razor-sharp, tucked alongside the ache of Sanji’s sacrifice.
#12 - Wait
“Wait,” he manages to croak out before Sanji flees the room, the word spilling out unbidden; he isn’t quite sure why, but he knows that he wants the Cook to stay.
#13 - Change
“Have some fucking decency ,” Sanji yells, throwing a shirt at Zoro’s direction; the brute has been walking around the ship bare-chested like an eyesore ever since they entered the summer island, and Sanji is just trying to do everyone a favor — and definitely not because there’s a different kind of heat pooling at the pit of his stomach.
#14 - Command
Robin watches the two in amusement — Zoro could have easily refused to be Sanji’s pack mule, and she can hear him grumbling about it still; and yet, here they are, once again, together at the island’s marketplace.
#15 - Hold
Sanji is rough around the edges, bristling at the slightest touch; Zoro knows he needs to be gentle, but he doesn’t quite remember the last time he held something that isn’t a hilt of a sword, without meaning to hurt . It’s a learning curve.
#16 - Need
Sanji knows Zoro is a dumbass, but it takes a special kind of stupid to think he would never be good enough for Sanji, when he’s all that Sanji has ever needed.
#17 - Vision
Zoro never regrets losing his eye, but he wishes, sometimes, he could still take in the sight of Sanji with an unimpaired vision, just to see more of him.
#18 - Attention
“You’re starting a fight, Marimo?” Sanji growls, voice low and dangerous, and Zoro thinks, yes, yes, anything to get you to look at me.
#19 - Soul
He loves the kid like a brother, but sometimes Zoro hates how Luffy can easily see past his gruff words and feigned ignorance; the way Luffy only needs to take one look at him to guess, “you’re worried about Sanji, aren’t you?”
#20 - Picture
He carries around everyone’s bounty posters, Sanji tells himself, and tries not to think too hard about how the only one he kept in his breast pocket is Zoro’s, folded neatly against his heart.
#21 - Fool
“This is the dumbest thing you’ve ever done so far,” Sanji says when they part, lips still tingling from their earlier kiss, because Zoro’s love is fierce and consuming and Sanji knows, ever since he was just a kid with the iron mask, that he doesn’t deserve any of this.
#22 - Mad
“Don’t you ever say that kind of shit again,” Zoro snarls, slamming the wall beside Sanji’s head, his voice trembling with a kind of anger Sanji has never seen him with before — frustrated, desperate. “You’re important to me, Cook.”
#23 - Child
Grow up and cast your dreams away, Sanji tells himself every day, the voice ringing in his ears; you stopped being a child deserving of a dream the moment you chained Zeff down to the ground.
#24 - Now
Grow up and cast your dreams away, Sanji wants to tell himself, but the voice stutters, drowned out by the sight of the kid bleeding on the deck of Baratie — he’s a swordsman, too, acknowledged by none other than Dracule Mihawk himself — but a kid still, throwing himself headfirst towards the case of his dreams, steps unweighted by regrets.
#25 - Shadow
Zoro doesn’t know which is worse — Sanji, forever running away from the shadow his brothers cast; or Zoro, chasing after someone who is no longer around to leave behind a shadow anymore.
#26 - Goodbye
After Whole Cake Island, there’s a period of time where Zoro would follow Sanji around the ship like a lost puppy, unwilling to let the Cook out of his sight; Usopp definitely didn’t expect Zoro to have such a cute side, and crouches over his new invention to hide his smile.
#27 - Hide
“We’re not doing that here,” Sanji hisses, and forces himself not to laugh at the pout on Zoro’s face; the galley might be secluded enough, but they’re still on the enemy ship’s galley.
#28 - Fortune
It is annoying, the way Sanji keeps reminding Zoro that he could have collected Mihawk’s bounty and lived the rest of his life in wealth; especially when Zoro would trade any riches in the world just to stay by the Cook’s side.
#29 - Safe
It catches Zoro off guard when Sanji starts talking about his mother; it’s a short anecdote, a single happy memory, but Zoro can tell by the way Sanji tells it — guarded and hesitant, like he wants to keep the words close and safe — that he has never shared it with anyone else before.
#30 - Ghost
Usopp starts shaking like a leaf as soon as they enter the abandoned, dilapidated house, and Sanji gently tells him, sometimes the worst ghost is the one you create yourself; Zoro feels the weight of Wado on his hip, and agrees.
#31 - Book
“I don’t need this,” Zoro grumbles with a blush, pushing the book back into Nami’s hands, trying hard to ignore Nami’s laughter and the words ROMANCE FOR DUMMIES emblazoned on the book’s jacket.
#32 - Eye
Shusui sinks into the man’s stomach, all the way to the hilt, and Zoro thinks of the way Sanji curled into himself as the man landed a lucky hit on the cook’s hand. An eye for an eye.
#33 - Never
“This is my first time,” Zoro whispers, head ducking away as he feels his face flush at the admission; but Sanji’s hand rests on his cheek, encouraging, and he can feel the curve of Sanji’s smile as their lips meet and Sanji replies, “it’s mine, too.”
#34 - Sing
Luffy cheers when Zoro and Sanji comes into view, and he lets them take on the next batch of enemies; a good fight is always fun, but watching Zoro and Sanji fight is even more so — like watching a dance that only those two know the melody to.
#35 - Sudden
“What, are we supposed to be surprised?” Nami says, barely looking up from the map she’s working on; Sanji sputters, face redder than the tomatoes he served during breakfast, and Nami feels almost bad for him.
#36 - Stop
“But we — Zoro and I — how did you know?” Sanji asks, and promptly stops asking questions when he realizes the rest of the crew aren’t surprised either; who could blame them, when his and Zoro’s sexual tension can be seen from a mile away.
#37 - Time
Sanji knows they have to break apart soon, just to breathe, but right now all he cares about is to taste as much of Zoro as possible — he has waited two years for this, and it has been two years too long.
#38 - Wash
They have their fair share of fighting — and how, considering the amount of repairs Usopp has to do for Merry just from their petty fights alone — but what the crew doesn’t know is that they also have this thing, this quiet thing, just him and the Cook and a stack of dirty plates between them.
#39 - Torn
“In retrospect,” Robin observes, “dressing up our dear cook in a maid uniform would not only lower the enemy’s firepower, but also ours, considering how distracted our swordsman has clearly become.”
#40 - History
“Why do you keep him around, mister?” The kid asks, pointing at the old swordsman with three swords and an eye scar by the peer; Sanji laughs, pats the kid on the head, and says, almost wistfully — “you can say we have some history.”
#41 - Power
Sanji tugs at Zoro’s sleeve, and Zoro follows suit despite his complaints — Sanji thinks, distantly, how much of an honor it is, to have so much control over such a powerful man.
#42 - Bother
“I didn’t have enough time to make this three-tier ice cream cake for our lovely Nami-san and Robin-chan because you distracted me!” Sanji says with a hard jab of a finger against Zoro’s chest, and Zoro thinks, good .
#43 - God
Zoro does not believe in gods, but there’s a hymn of a noise when Zoro presses his lips against the crook of Sanji’s neck, the hallelujah of the world breaking apart as their bodies move together, and he thinks, close enough .
#44 - Wall
Zoro slams his fist into the wall of Polar Tang, and is taken aback by the depth of his own frustration; he knows Luffy and the others will get Sanji back from Big Mom’s place, but it unsettles him still, the way Sanji hides himself under layers of pretenses when Zoro has bared so much of himself to the Cook in return.
#45 - Naked
“What the fuck was that for , Mosshead?!” Sanji shrieks, justifiably furious, leg raised and on fire after Zoro sliced his tray into two without preamble; Zoro can’t exactly tell the Cook he did it because he was too surprised at the sight of Sanji in a swimming trunk and nothing else.
#46 - Drive
Why Zoro , people sometimes ask, but the answer is easy to Sanji — nobody drives him crazy the way Zoro does, and is that not what true love feels like?
#47 - Harm
Zoro knows Sanji will be furious ; but as he faces Kuma, knowing at least the Cook is out of harm’s way, he knows he would do this a hundred times over, a thousand times over, a million times over.
#48 - Precious
Sanji is sitting by the corner of the infirmary, face pale with red-rimmed eyes, and Zoro thinks he’s never had that, before — people who would weep for him, knowing that he is more than dried scars and calloused skin.
#49 - Hunger
This thing we have is dangerous, Sanji tells him, but Zoro doesn’t care — he already has a craving, the same way he needs a booze when it’s been too long, except he thinks that this vice will surely kill him.
#50 - Believe
This isn’t faith; this is the truth, Zoro’s truth, the same way he knows he will become the Greatest — Sanji will find that elusive sea of his, and Zoro will stay with him until it is the last thing he can do.

Hello! may I request F for the soulmate between luffy and the reader. Thanks!
Hello my dear! I hope you enjoy this! I took some creative liberty with this, I hope you don’t mind. I had an amazing time writing this!
Luffy x Reader - Like Honey
Warnings: mentions of - Franky x Robin, Sanji x Zoro
Synopsis: A soulmates words appeared on Luffy’s back when he was eighteen, but who do they belong to? Usopp decides to make it his mission to find out who it could possibly be. Through a couple of questions and dead ends, Usopp finds his answer in the most unexpected of places.
“They’re like honey?” Usopp asked his captain as he read the words that were written down his back when Luffy had his shirt off for a moment. The words written down his back had caught Usopp’s attention and he was surprised he hadn’t noticed them before. Luffy glanced over at his sniper and rose a brow curiously at Usopp’s inquisition.
“What do you mean?” Luffy asked.
“The words on your back, that’s what they say. They’re like honey, what does that mean? What could that be referring to?” Usopp asked as he watched Luffy slip his shirt back on and stretch his rubbery arms up into the air to alleviate some of his soreness in his muscles.
“I don’t know, maybe meat? Like a honey glazed ham,” Luffy said as he drooled. Usopp scoffed and smacked Luffy aside the head at what he said.
“That’s stupid and we both know it,” Usopp frowned.
“It could be! I don’t even know what this is for,” Luffy grumbled as he looked at his back. When he went off to train after his brother’s death, he one day woke up with these words on his back which still perplexed him. Another thing that perplexed him was where he heard this being said to him before.
“Did you get it after you turned eighteen? Cause I did too, it’s kinda annoying,” Usopp mumbled as he looked at the words written on his bicep, he honestly didn’t know what it meant and he didn’t know if he would find out who they were meant for.
“It’s to tell you your soulmates first words,” Franky said as he worked on repairing one of his newest weapons, he couldn’t help but overhear. “You get the words after you turn eighteen even if you’ve already met your soulmate,” Franky shared as he looked at both of the boys.
“Really? That’s dumb,” Luffy grumbled as he tried to look at his back.
“I think it’s romantic,” Franky grinned, he placed extra emphasis on the word romantic as he pulled his sunglasses down. “Aren’t you curious about who it could be? Do you have any idea?” Franky asked his captain as he watched him purse his lips in concentration.
“Nope!” Luffy smiled.
“So blunt…” Usopp muttered as his captain laughed at Usopp’s expense.
“What’s so funny?” Luffy heard a voice asked, when he turned around, his heart swelled when he saw the crew’s resident botanist holding one of their large apples.
“Oh! Hi! Is that for me?” Luffy asked them as he walked over to them and took the large apple from them.
“Yeah! It is, I’ve been working on engineering larger fruit and vegetables and I think I finally figured out a way that I can make them large while using the same amount of resources for a smaller fruit,” they explained while Luffy stared at them intently. “You don’t understand a word I just said, right?” They sighed, Luffy laughed in response to them and that made them smile. Franky saw the way they both looked at one another and saw the unspoken exchange between the two of them. Before he could ask, Usopp began to speak.
“Oh, now that you’re here, I wanna ask you something,” Usopp interrupted as he walked between the two of them and looked at his crewmate with a sharp, analytical eye.
“What are your soulmates' first words?” Usopp asked, “Do you have them written on you?” Usopp asked.
“I do! They’re written on my back which is a bit strange, but I don’t really question it,” They sheepishly smiled. Usopp paused when they said that, that seemed a bit coincidental.
“What are the words?” Usopp asked.
“You have pretty eyes,” They smiled as they went to go back to their garden to do some more experiments on their plants. Usopp rose a brow and looked over at Luffy who was casually eating the monstrous apple.
“Pretty eyes?” Usopp asked before he looked over at Nami who was eavesdropping along with Franky.
“Don’t look at me, my words have nothing to do with eyes,” She said as she went to walk away. Usopp was now determined to find out who this person was, who was the mystery person who told them they had pretty eyes? Usopp smiled to himself and came up with a self-righteous scenario where he was victorious in finding out who the person was and where he was showered in praise. Stars began to glow around him and Chopper watched on in amazement.
“Can I help?” Chopper asked as he clamored to be standing on one of Usopp’s shoulder’s. Usopp smiled at his friend and nodded his head, he was excited to have some help on this at least. A pair of detectives, now all he needed was a hat which he grabbed from his side bag.
“Alright, first let’s ask Robin, I have a good feeling it’s her,” Usopp said as he went to find Robin sitting on the deck drinking coffee while reading her book. “Hey, Robin! Can I ask you something?” Usopp asked as he stood in front of the tan woman. Robin looked up from her book and tilted her head at the strange pair.
“Of course,” She warmly smiled, Usopp watched how that smile seemed to catch Franky off guard. He watched how his cyborg friend almost broke one of his tools due to his distraction of Robin.
“What are your soulmates’ word’s?” Usopp asked her and much to his surprise, she laughed.
“That was super of you,” Robin shared, and Usopp felt his jaw drop, maybe that was for another time. He looked over at Franky who had a bit of an arrogant smile on his face, or maybe it wasn’t for another time.
“Ok, so it isn’t you. Thank you Robin! Come on, Chopper, we need to find out who it could possibly be. Maybe we can ask Sanji,” Usopp suggested.
“Why not Franky? He’s here on the deck too,” Chopper pointed out.
“I have a strong feeling it isn’t him,” Usopp smiled as he went up the stairs and went to the kitchen. Chopper was confused but didnt question it for now, he followed Usopp into the kitchen and watched as Usopp leaned on the doorframe and tried to grab the chef’s attention.
“Food won’t be ready for a while,” Sanji said through the thick haze of steam and cigarette smoke.
“I wasn’t going to ask about that, but that’s good to know. What are your soulmate’s first words?” Usopp asked him. Sanji stepped out of the steam and rubbed his chin as he pondered the question. He pulled his sleeve up and looked at what was written on his forearm.
“You perverted love cook,” Sanji mumbled. Usopp tried to think about who that could possibly be before it clicked to him. The snoring he heard outside of the door seemed to help his suspicions as well. The swordsman rested against the railing with his arms behind his head, the words “Shut it, moss-head” peaked out under his sleeve as he slept.
“Oh! Ok, thanks,” Usopp grinned as he went to leave the kitchen and glanced down at the swordsman who was there.
“Wait, Usopp do you know something?” Sanji asked with some urgency. The fact that Sanji didn’t realize who it was surprised him, but Usopp didn’t think it was his place to say anything, he would realize it soon, all he needed to do was open his eyes.
“I do, but I think that is for you to figure out by yourself,” Usopp teased as he ran out of the kitchen and laughed with Chopper.
“Can we ask Zoro next?” Chopper asked with a large smile on his face.
“I don’t think we need to ask him either,” Usopp smiled, he was beginning to see a pattern here. They weren’t just words, they were conversations, phrases that could be strung together that gave clues to the sniper to who it could possibly be. Himself, Chopper, Sanji, Zoro, Franky, Nami and Robin were all out of the picture, and Usopp could confidently say that Jimbe and Brook would be out as well. That left only one more possible option if they were basing it off of who was on their ship.
“We need to find Luffy!” Chopper and Usopp simultaneously said before they went to run and to their captain so they could ask him about their possible theory. They ran into the railing, fell down on the grass and watched as Luffy ate the core of the apple with a big smile on his face.
“Luffy! We know who it is!” Usopp cheered as he grabbed his captain by his shoulders and shook him. Luffy’s body moved with Usopp’s movements but he looked confused.
“What do you mean? Know who is what?” Luffy asked. Usopp sighed in exasperation and practically grabbed his captain by his neck in some frustration.
“You’re soulmate, you idiot!” Chopper yelled for Usopp as both of the boys glared down at their captain.
“Oh yeah! I already know who it is!” Luffy smiled, his words made Usopp and Chopper both stop in their tracks.
“But you said you didn’t!” Usopp reminded him as anger boiled up inside of him.
“I did?” Luffy asked, he didn’t recall that which frustrated Chopper and Usopp more.
“Yes! You did!” Chopper insisted. Luffy simply laughed and slapped both of the boys on the back.
“Anyways, you know who it is?” Usopp asked with a big smile on his face, he was glad that he now didn’t need to explain it to his empty headed captain.
“Yeah! And they’re grabbing me one of the giant oranges they managed to grow,” Luffy smiled. For realizing who his soulmate he was rather calm, but that didn’t surprise Chopper and Usopp.
“Why did you say that to them as your so called first words?” Usopp asked.
“That’s because their eyes are pretty,” Luffy casually explained while Usopp slapped the top of his forehead in disbelief.
“That’s it?” Usopp asked his captain.
“Yeah, they’re big and pretty, do I need more reason?” Luffy asked as he relaxed against the railing with one of his large smiles on his face.
“I don’t think you do, no,” Usopp sighed as he went about relaxing with his captain on the railing. When they came back with the orange, Usopp watched as they handed it over to Luffy with a warm smile on their face.
“Do you know that Luffy is your soulmate?” Usopp decided to ask. He watched as they tilted their head and looked over at their captain.
“Yes, I knew, why do you want to know?” They curiously asked Usopp. Usopp’s look of disbelief grew as he looked at Luffy and their botanist. Usopp grabbed his detectives’ cap and tossed it on the ground with a small pout on his face.
“So I went on this whole journey for nothing? You guys already knew? Why aren’t you doing anything about it?” Usopp asked the both of them.
“Do what? Are we supposed to do something?” Luffy asked, he looked over at them and watched them laugh and felt his heart swell just a little bit. They smiled at their captain and their cheeks turned a light shade of pink as they stared into their captain’s honey colored eyes. The chemistry between the two of them should’ve made it obvious, and Usopp honestly felt stupid for not seeing it sooner.
“No, I don’t think so captain.” They smiled. Usopp sighed and rolled his eyes, what was he even expecting? He knew his captain would end up doing something like this, his captain would realize who it was and not do anything about it. Perhaps it was for the best, things could just run their natural course for now. He just smiled and watched as Luffy ate the orange slices from their hands and watched him smile, maybe for now that was enough for them all.

One Piece Theories: Blackbeard Giving Shanks His Scars
- Blackbeard Theories, Part 2
The scar in question, looks like three scratch marks swiped across Shank’s left eye.
Establishing a Timeline / The First Meeting
The timeline has confirmed that the two first met during the fight between the Roger and Whitebeard pirates in 1498. At the time, Shanks was 12/13 and Teach was 13/14. As seen in the picture below (Ch. 966), Shanks was envious of Teach’s apparent inability to sleep. However, it was never shown that they ever fought each other during this time.
Shanks later tells Whitebeard that Teach gave him scar. We know from the flashback at Roger’s execution that he had yet to receive the scar. However, he already had it when he met Luffy. Therefore, he obtained his scar somewhere between when Roger got executed (in 1500, when he was 15) and the first time he met Luffy (in 1512, when he was 26/27). So, there is roughly a 12-year range where that could have occurred.
Shanks Opinions
What is interesting, is Shanks’ opinion of Teach himself. The Red-Haired Pirate is someone shrouded in his own sense of secrecy. Oda created a character that is essential to the story, has existed since the very beginning, and yet we know basically nothing about. What we do know, is that Shanks appears to be a good judge of character, similar to Luffy in that sense. So, his opinions of people should have some weight. When he visits Whitebeard, in Episode 316, he says,
“The one who gave me this, was one of yours… Blackbeard, Teach! It’s not like I was being careless. Do you know what I mean? Whitebeard.”
- Shanks
Another one of the small tidbits we know regarding Shanks, is that he is strong. Sure, we aren’t exactly sure how strong – because, as I said, Oda likes to keep him shrouded in mystery – but considering the amount of respect he receives and his title as one of the 4 Yonko, we know he’s a powerful opponent. So, hearing him say this can be a bit disconcerting. Now, I mentioned before that there is a 12-year gap between 1500 and 1512 when this fight could have occurred. I bring this up because when this happened is very important in sizing up Teach’s power. It is safe to say that beating Shanks at 15 would be much easier than beating him when he is 26. I say this, so you will keep in mind that Shank’s statement above isn’t necessarily an indication of Teach’s power, nor was it necessarily supposed to be. What it is, is a warning of Teach’s character. A warning given a mere 9 episodes before Teach’s confrontation with Ace where details regarding his past actions are explored and basically confirms all of Shanks’ conjecture. Shanks continues,
“He was quietly waiting for a chance. He didn’t take the title of commander to be renowned. But to conceal himself. Up until now he remained hidden under the shadow of the name “Whitebeard”. And in order to gain power, he made his move. In the end, he aims to get to the top, with his own will. He might even come to steal your title.”
- Shanks
He's saying that Teach stayed below the radar on purpose. He continues by implying that this is due to wanting whatever notoriety that would eventually become attached to Teach’s name to be a result of his own doing (or “own will”), and not because of being associated with Whitebeard. Shanks also correctly assumed that all of Teach’s moves had been in order to gain power.
The Reason
This leads to the question: Why did he attack Shanks?
For starters, I think it’s safe to say that Teach doesn’t make a move that hasn’t been thought through and calculated. That has been proven a hundred times over. If it’s true, as I suspect, that Teach will only make a move if he believes that it will afford him more power, then what led to this confrontation with Shanks? What did Teach believe he would gain from beating Shanks?
Moreover, I think it’s interesting that Shanks never thought to mention this to Whitebeard until now or that Teach hadn’t. I guess you could argue that Shanks saw no reason to until it became clear that Teach was not only capable of this type of betrayal but was starting to make moves. You could also argue that Teach hadn’t said anything because he didn’t want to arouse suspicion. However, something still doesn’t feel right to me about this whole situation. I’m finding it difficult to put into words why, but I’ll do my best.
If Teach attacked Shanks in the hopes of gaining more power then he very clearly either (1) got it or (2) didn’t. I think it’s important to point out that many things can give a person power over others. I truly believe that there is a high chance whatever Teach was after during the confrontation, was knowledge. I think he believed Shanks knew something he wanted and went after him for it. If that’s the truth, then there is no way Shanks didn’t know what he was looking for. For the simple reason that: You can’t get an answer out of someone without first asking the question.
Given what we know about Teach, I think there’s a likely chance that it had to do with either: The Yami Yami no Mi, the true power hidden on Mary Geoise, the One Piece, or Rocks D Xebec.
What bothers me is that, either Teach got ‘it’ or he didn’t. There’s no in between. If Teach didn’t gain what he hoped to from the fight, then I can see why Shanks made no moves against him afterwards. It would also make sense why he was so insistent with Whitebeard later on (considering he knew the type of things Teach was interested in based on what he wanted from him). But if he did get what he came for, then I feel like Shanks would be much more concerned earlier on and wouldn’t have waited until the last possible moment to say something.
This would also explain his trip to Mary Geoise. Many people believe that the pirate that Shanks wants to speak to the Gorosei about is Blackbeard.
In conclusion: It is my belief that Teach went to Shanks for answers on one of the ‘taboo subjects’ of the world. The scar most likely occurred either before he asked his question in a surprise attack or following Shanks refusal to answer. While Shanks learned the type of man Teach was during that fight, he saw no reason to be concerned at that moment. At that point, Teach was just a curious sneaky (possible) commander of the Whitebeard Pirates. I don’t think Teach’s curiosity triggered red flags until he killed Thatch, ate the Yami Yami no Mi and began to make moves. Finally, Shanks begins to get concerned now that the once curious man is making his grab for power, knowing that whatever information Teach wanted, he now has a better chance at gaining. So, he goes to Whitebeard and pleads with him to call back Ace, possibly with the knowledge that whatever Teach wants endgame, he needs someone Ace to achieve. Now that Teach has amassed all this power, I believe Shanks is legitimately concerned about what Teach will do and went to the Gorosei to discuss the possibilities.

To Lose you...Ace, Luffy and Sabo
Request: ASL have a baby sister around the age of 10, Ace and Luffy raised her and she joins Luffy and goes with him to Marineford, role reversal and their little sister takes Ace’s place and dies in his place.
Extra Note: Ooh boy...this one really got me...I was crying reading this request because honestly I can’t even imagine their reactions if something like this happened...anyways, proceed with caution...because we have so major feels over here.
A little extra warning: Very graphic blood and gore and graphic descriptions of death...please be advised this doesn’t have a happy ending and this may be triggering for a lot of people. I’m sorry in advance.
Ace
From the minute Ace set his eyes on you, all those years ago, he knew that he had to protect you.
You were so small...just a little baby when he, Luffy and Sabo found you whilst exploring out in the forest.
They all decided together that you would be their honorary little sister, and grow up alongside them.
They may have needed a little help from Dadan and the Bandits here and there, but they took it upon themselves to work as a team to raise you together.
The first time that they experienced a loss, was when Sabo “died” and that was unbearable, but it was the thought of you that kept Ace and Luffy going.
So the four of you became three, and Ace vowed to never let anyone he cared about get hurt...or even worse die...again.
Ace loved seeing you grow up, watching you become your very own person...brave and determined, you stood up for what you believed in and he felt his heart soar whenever you asked for his help.
Being the eldest brother, Ace took on a lot of responsibilities, most of which he had to leave behind when he left to sail the seas.
Ace had thought the most heartbreaking thing he would ever see in his life was when his beloved little sister stood at the edge of the docks, crying her eyes out as he sailed away.
He had promised to see her again, and although in his heart part of him wished that she would remain with Makino and Dadan on their home island, he knew that she would sail away with Luffy when he left. Luffy was far more lenient with rules when it came to their family.
But he never thought this would be the way to see her again...in Marineford, crying out to him to believe in her and Luffy.
Ace felt less worried about his own fate and more worried about how he could get you safely away from this battlefield whilst he was shackled and about to be killed...
Of course...everything seemed to work out, Ace, Luffy, and their wonderful little sister were only a little way of being safe, Trafalgar Law, standing upon his submarine after agreeing to allow them board and escape.
Ace had merely turned his head away for one second...away from watching his little sisters back to survey the path ahead when he heard a pained gasp and a grunt of surprise.
When he looked back, Ace had never felt more sick to his stomach.
His baby sister...only 10...was standing shellshocked, eyes were blown wide and mouth open in a silent gasp, blood dripping out of a hole through her small body. Flames and magma oozed around and out of it and Akainu stood behind her, his face a mix of anger and confusion.
It only took Ace a second to see what had happened, the minute he had looked away to the front, his little sister had looked back and taken the blow that had surely been aimed at himself.
There’s really no way to describe what this poor boy is thinking, his body completely shuts down...and it’s as if the entire battle around them comes to a halt. He can feel every person's eyes on them...looking at his little sister.
Akainu pulls away, if not somewhat guilty for what he has done to a child, pirate or not, and doesn’t make another move for either Ace or Luffy.
His little sister takes a small step, and one more before looking down, and then back up. Her face looks confused before she looks to Ace.
The minute she finds his eyes, her body collapses...and Ace is right there to scoop her up.
“You're ok! You're ok...!” Ace gasps, his mind is still shut down, and he can’t think, “Everything’s going to be fine...we can fix this...there has to be a doctor...Trafalgar...he’ll fix you.”
But Ace knows better, he watches as the light starts draining from your eyes, and you look confused...so confused but he can still hear your faint whisper as you say “I love you guys...” for the very last time...
Ace doesn’t scream, he doesn’t move...he can hear Luffy let out the most heartwrenching noise imaginable...but he just looks at you, your eyes still half-open, not quite shut...staring straight through him.
You don’t look dead...surely your just playing a small little joke.
But when he feels a hand on his shoulder and looks up to the Heart Pirates captain, Law, he sees the smallest bit of sympathy in his otherwise cold eyes.
He knows that he has one last job to do...one last thing before he can stop everything.
He takes his little sisters body over his shoulder, pretending that the red liquid dripping down his chest isn’t really your blood, on the other shoulder he scoops up Luffy’s immobile body and he races to Trafalgars ship.
He allows Law to take Luffy to the medical wing, hooking him up and begin treating him for shock, and then they bring his little sister's body to another room until they can find a place to bury her.
Then and only then does he allow his body to fall into the unconscious state he’s been fighting off for what feels like hours.
When he awakens, Ace simply lies in the medical bed that Law has dumped him off then, trying to process the information and everything that's happened.
Ace ultimately makes the choice to bury her next to Whitebeard, knowing that the old man will take good care of his little sister in whatever afterlife there may be.
He also makes the choice to leave the remaining Whitebeard Pirates ranks...choosing to now alliance himself with his brother, and vowing to never. ever. EVER, let anyone touch a hair on Luffy’s head.
Ace won’t be the same ever again, after this loss...but when he thinks of your smiling face, despite the sadness he feels at your memory, it reminds him to keep on fighting, for himself and his beliefs, and for Luffy.
Luffy
We know Luffy is goofy and immature, and sometime’s careless...but older brother Luffy is more serious. He observes everything that has to do with his sister, and he takes extra good care of her.
He didn’t put up a fight when it was time for him to set sail and his little sister wanted to go with her. He felt confident enough that he could protect her.
When it was time to go to Marineford, Luffy tried to get her to stay behind, but his little sister wouldn’t hear of it...she wanted to protect her older brothers as much as they protected her.
Luffy and his sister worked together to free Ace, and Luffy was overjoyed. Everything was going to work out, and they would be reunited again.
Luffy wouldn’t have to hear his baby sister sob Ace’s name or call for her brother in her nightmares.
Ace led the group towards the submarine, and Luffy follows eagerly behind.
Unlike Ace, who looked away from their sister the moment she was struck, Luffy is forced to watch the entire thing.
He sees Akainu coming towards them, and he watches his baby sister catch his eye, see’s his fist raised to strike Ace, and all but dives in front of the firey fist.
He is forced to watch the heated fist smash through his little sister's body, he hears the sizzling of their skin, he watches the initial blood crust over before new blood rises.
Ace turns his head back finally, but Luffy’s already seen enough. His voice is trapped in his throat, and everything is shutting down around him. He lets her name slip through his mouth, but it’s merely a noiseless whisper.
He watches her step forward, and collapse into Ace’s arms.
He’s never truly felt like a failure until this very moment, he’s never wanted to lay down and give up, he’s never wanted to think about giving up.
He’s never thought about living without his baby sister.
For a while, he was the youngest sibling in their ragtag little honorary family. And then when they found her...Luffy had never been excited...he was going to be the big brother...he could tease her, and train with her and protect her like he had been as the youngest
But he had done nothing...couldn’t do anything now.
He let out a scream, a scream that came from within him, making his own blood curdle. He saw the light leave her eyes, and the last thing he heard was her saying “I love you...”
Luffy although upright, was unconscious seconds after.
When he awoke, he was a mess.
He fought everyone aboard the Heart Pirates sub, taking off into the woods of whatever island they had landed upon.
He called his sisters name, willed her to come out so perhaps it would all be a dream after all.
When Ace finds him, he asks if he knows where their little sister is. Perhaps she’s playing hide and seek?
But when he sees Ace’s tears, he knows. He’s always known honestly. Luffy breaks down again, utterly heartbroken.
Luffy is grateful for Ace remaining by his side because after everything Luffy isn’t sure he would be strong enough to continue without their little sister by his side.
Extra: Sabo
Sabo didn’t get the same amount of time then the others did with you. But he still remembers the babbling little baby that he would get to hold in his arms when he was just a child. Who he would calm to sleep rocking her in his little arms.
To forget all about her was painful...
But to finally awaken these memories by a picture in a newspaper, was unbearable. They hadn’t named you, you being so young and not having any bounty.
But he could see it in your features, the shape of your nose, the color of your eyes, your hair, once few and short, now longer and full.
You were so young...and you were gone?
Sabo collapses instantly, and when he awakens he’s remembered everything.
He takes any lead, listens to anyone with information, and it eventually leads to your grave, buried beside Whitebeard, Ace’s former Captain. He sets out 4 cups, fills three of them with sake, and the fourth is filled with a sweet juice he recalls you like when you were little so long ago.
He spends the day there, thinking of you before he continues on his way.
He has a new goal in mind...he plans to find Ace and Luffy.
He wants to hear their stories, know all about how you grew up...your favorite things...what he missed when he was gone and had forgotten.
It takes some years, but finally, in Dressrosa he meets with his brothers once more, a tearful reunion that promises a little relief amongst the grief of three brothers.

Can I get Law and Kid and Luffy nsfw alphabet for letters c j r v x
Hi Anon! Just putting this out there, I am not got at describing genetalia so X was a nightmare for me!! Anyway, hope you like it!!❤
NSFW Alphabet for Law, Kid and Luffy - C, J, R, V, X
Warning: Not Suitable For Work
Law
C = Cum (Anything to do with cum basically… I’m a disgusting person)
Law takes reasonably good care of himself - diet wise - so his cum is actually quite average when it comes to taste. A little bit salty but other than that pretty plain.
In terms of colour and consistency its grey-white and is quite watery. Maybe a little under the average amount.
J = Jack Off (Masturbation headcanon)
Law has a reasonably good sex drive but because he takes a very long time to get comfortable with a person there are times when he doesnt have access to sex.
So masturbation is his usual go to when he's super stressed or horny.
He doesnt necessarily like doing it, but he would rather have a wank and get it over with than be a pent up angry mess all day.
Laws usual go to is to masturbate where clean up is minimal. Eg, in the shower or in to a sock.
R = Risk (Are they game to experiment, do they take risks, etc.)
Law doesnt care for the idea of sex in a public place, it's way too vulnerable for him.
But he is a massive tease so he will more than happily get his partners expectations up by doing things like touching them under the table at dinner or whispering dirty things in their ear before going on about his day.
V = Volume (How loud they are, what sounds they make)
Law is not very loud in the noises that he makes while having sex. He's a quiet person in general and that doesnt change when hes in bed. He does moan and grunt and whatnot, he just doesn't do it so anyone other than his partner can hear.
X = X-Ray (Let’s see what’s going on in those pants, picture or words)
Laws dick is a bit longer than average, about 6'5" inches long. It's not overly thick, but hes never had any complaints.
One or two visible veins and a slight upward curve.
Kid
C = Cum (Anything to do with cum basically… I’m a disgusting person)
Kids diet pretty much consists of beer and meat, with a few cabbage rolls thrown in. So his cum is actually a bit bitter. It's not overly off putting but it's definitely noticable.
His cum is a good consistency, not too thick but not too watery. Definitely cums more than the average amount. He is also not fussy about where he cums.
J = Jack Off (Masturbation headcanon)
Kid has no issues with masterbation. But surprisingly he doesnt really use it for pleasure, more like if hes really stressed, angry, annoyed or even when hes tired he will have a wank and just feel better afterwards.
Masterbation is a means to an end, sex is where Kid really enjoys himself
R = Risk (Are they game to experiment, do they take risks, etc.)
Uh yes and no. Kid is more than happy to have sex in an alley or a public toilet. He doesn't care about being seen and he believes in his own power enough that he thinks he can beat anyone who tries to get the jump on him.
Kid would be less of a risk taker when it comes to things like using toys on him or a strap on.
V = Volume (How loud they are, what sounds they make)
Again, Kid doesnt care if people see him having sex so he certainly doesn't care if they hear him doing it either.
He prefers to have his partner making the most noise but he doesnt keep himself quiet while in the moment either.
X = X-Ray (Let’s see what’s going on in those pants, picture or words)
Kids a big guy and his package is completely proportionate to his size.
Hes probably a bit thicker than average and his dick is quite veiny but he is super proud of it.
Luffy
C = Cum (Anything to do with cum basically… I’m a disgusting person)
Luffy has pretty average jizz to be honest.
Its white and thicker than normal but other than that no surprises here. He has a fairly regular amount too.
He has quite sweet tasting cum
J = Jack Off (Masturbation headcanon)
Luffy doesnt really masturbate that often? He will on occasion but he finds release in other ways -like kicking the shit out of people and eating until he cant move.
When he does however hes not overly secretive about it. He'll just go to the boys room and whack one out - doesnt even usually lock the door.
He doesnt see anything wrong with it but he doesnt really do it that often.
R = Risk (Are they game to experiment, do they take risks, etc.)
Luffy is pretty much controlled by his urges, and when he feels the need for sexual contact it's no different. So hes not shy about just finding his partner and being like "sex?" Whether that be on ship or in the middle of a town market place.
He doesnt really worry about being caught because again he doesnt see having sex as an overly bad thing and he has very little concept of social behaviour.
V = Volume (How loud they are, what sounds they make)
Luffy laughs a lot during sex. Hes enjoying himself, his partner is enjoying themselves so he doesnt hold back. He asks a lot of questions during the act and if something feels good hes going to let you (and probably everyone on the ship) know about it. He's loud at the best of times and during sex is no different.
X = X-Ray (Let’s see what’s going on in those pants, picture or words)
Luffy is actually pretty average down south, probably just under 5 inches. He does have the added bonus of being able to stretch his dick to whatever length he likes though
