Her Royal Highness, Princess Y/n of Cambridge as well as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made a surprise appearance at the Vancouver Canucks game last night.
The Princess has been on quite the anticipated tour, starting in Ottawa this past spring, heading east then ending in Victoria where she'll leave for later today.
Before the game the prince and princess had dropped the puck at the ceremonial puck drop, or rather not dropped the puck as Prince Harry had to be told to.
But it wasn't the prince's embarrassing story that's making headlines today, it's the Princess of Cambridge leaving with the Canucks captain, Quinn Hughes.
Hughes is an American hockey player, a couple years younger than our princess, but nonetheless we would love this couple together.
We know King Charles is never one to come become his children and love, we can only assume the King will be even more supportive than he was with the Duchess of Sussex. Hughes has never been married and on paper would make a great fit for our outgoing and adventures princess.
-
Quinn was on FaceTime with his brothers, they were in a hotel room in Michigan just having come back from their morning skate. Luke happened to go on his phone and see articles about his brother and the princess.
"Were you ever gonna tell us your dating a princess?!"
"We're not dating. That was my first time meeting her." The oldest said, rolling his eyes slightly, though his brothers ignored his obvious annoyance and continued their questions.
"And she came home with you?!" "Damn, Quinny!"
Rubbing his hand over his face, Quinn defends himself, "Shut up. It wasn't like that. We just talked, and got to know each other."
“Yeah? ‘Got to know each other’ how?” Jack said in his usual teasing voice with a smirk on his face.
“I don’t know, just talked- she’s coming out to Seattle in a couple days and-” “Shit! No way, dude.” Luke came into frame now, sitting next to Jack on the hotel bed. Jack elbowed Luke slightly, telling the boy to give him space before he looked back at Quinn on the screen, “And how exactly did you pull this off?”
“I have no idea, she was just waiting outside the dressing room after the game and asked me out. It was a little awkward ‘cause her security guys were right there the whole time.”
“In your apartment?” “No Lukey, outside the dressing room. They were outside the apartment the whole night though.” Jack’s head shot up at this, “She stayed the night?!”
“Yeah, but nothing happened. I’m not you.” “Fuck off.” “We talked all night and we watched a couple movies.”
Jack and Luke seemed to have got, maybe not exactly what they wanted, but got out all the questions they wanted to ask out.

He was born during the reign of his paternal grandmother Elizabeth II and was the first child born to a Prince and Princess of Wales since Prince John's birth in July 1905.
The little prince's name was announced on 28 June as William Arthur Philip Louis. Wills was christened in the Music Room of Buckingham Palace by the then Archbishop of Canterbury, Robert Runcie, on 4 August.
William studied at Jane Mynors' nursery school and Wetherby School in London before joining Ludgrove. He was subsequently admitted to Eton College, studying geography, biology, and history at the A-level.

Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester
Physique: Average Build Height: 6′ 0½″ (1.84 m)
Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester (Richard Alexander Walter George; born 26 August 1944) is a member of the British royal family. He is the second son of Prince Henry, Duke of Gloucester, and Princess Alice, Duchess of Gloucester, the youngest of the nine grandchildren of George V, nephew of Edward VIII and George VI, and first cousin of Elizabeth II. He is 31st in the line of succession to the British throne, and the highest person on the list who is not a descendant of George VI. At the time of his birth, he was 5th in line to the throne.
Tall, spectacled and reserved looking, he wasn't high in the line of fuckable royals until after the death of Queen Elizabeth II. The Duke isn’t the most handsomest guy being British royalty, but he has that "nerdy hot" thing going on having matured into a fine silverfox.
Prince Richard attended Wellesley House School at Broadstairs and Eton College. In 1963, he matriculated at Magdalene College, Cambridge, where he read architecture, graduating with the degree of Bachelor of Arts in June 1966. In 1966, Richard joined the Offices Development Group in the Ministry of Public Building and Works for a year of practical work. He returned to Cambridge in 1967, completing both parts of the Diploma in Architecture degree in June 1969. Upon passing his exams, he became a practicing architect in London.
After the death of his elder brother, William, he was in direct line to inherit his father's dukedom, to which he succeeded in 1974.
The Duke occasionally represents the royal family at official functions when the monarch can't be there. He also has myriad patronages under his purview, and is the royal family's Trustee of the British Museum.
He married Birgitte van Deurs Henriksen on 8 July 1972; the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester have three children. Other than the fact that I think he's cute and that he was practiced as an architect, I have no other research to offer you.

“Editing Archie's birth certificate.”
How?
When Archie was born, the birth certificate identified his father as His Royal Highness Henry Charles Albert David Duke of Sussex and his mother was identified as Rachel Meghan Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex, as shown below:
Identifying Meghan this way (with her first and middle name) follows the then-Cambridges' birth certificates, where Kate was identified as Catherine Elizabeth Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge.
On 6 June 2019, Archie's birth certificate was amended. Harry's name was corrected to "His Royal Highness Prince Harry Charles Albert David Duke of Sussex and Meghan's name was corrected to Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex.
Identifying Meghan this way follows William's and Harry's birth certificates, where Diana was identified as Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales.
The updates to the birth certificate were not made public/known until January 2021 (hence why, in the image above, it's dated 1/21/2021 - someone requested a copy of the birth certificate and the copy was certified on 1/21/2021.
When this first leaked in public by The Sun, chasing a scoop by Lady C, everyone assumed the Sussexes made the change but Meghan hit back pretty hard insisting it was the palace that made the changes. Which I believe...partially.
The palace absolutely would've insisted on an amendment to change Harry's name so that he's properly identified as Prince, which had been left out. That's something they're all over.
I don't believe that the palace demanded changing Meghan's name on the birth certificate because they had no issue with Kate having her names identified. I think that particular request came from the Sussexes, specifically to give homage to and link to Diana.

The wailers are going to need to text SHOUT after the news that Cathy isn’t banqueting! I’m sure Camilla is going to get dragged through the mud rather than the covert separation 😂
Did you see the engagement stats that came out over the weekend? Willy being so obviously outworked by the 31st person in line to the throne who is older than his father! Good grief…
I’m so intrigued to see the body language between the most in love loved up couple ever when this is what they looked like unposed during their last state visit together…
I think it's pretty clear that Kate isn't allowed to attend the banquet because she's not working. No tiaras for royals who won't do their job!
I suspect the only reason Kate is involved in the welcoming aspects is that William doesn't feel comfortable going solo and making conversation with two people on his own. Kate speaks a bit of Arabic, so she can greet them in their local language for a moment. Don't know what kind of negotiation the KP staff had to get her to do it, but they did.
But, hey, Kate has to prepare for her big concert next Friday! Just a few days ago, The Sun mentioned in their EXCLUSIVE! that Kate might be playing the piano again!
In 2021 she surprised guests with a solo piano recital and there are rumours she may be planning something special again this year.
Those are Kate's priorities. I don't know why any of the Wales fandom thinks serving her country by attending a state banquet ranks high on the list.
Can't wait to see which tiaras will make an appearance next week. Survey says Sophie will be wearing the Cambridge Lovers' Knot. Camilla will probably wear a completely different tiara again. Perhaps we'll even get Anne in a different tiara too!
In a notable development, Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester, claimed third position with 126 royal engagements. The Duke's performance marked an impressive 11.5 per cent increase from his previous year's duties. Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh, secured fourth place with 124 engagements, whilst his wife Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, ranked fifth with 108. Queen Camilla took sixth position with 95 engagements, followed by the Duchess of Gloucester with 72. Prince William placed eighth with 71 royal engagements, marking a quieter year with a 35.5 per cent decrease as he focused on supporting the Princess of Wales during her cancer treatment. The Duke of Kent completed 62 engagements, securing ninth position.
I think it's too early for engagement count lists. November hasn't even finished yet. Even still, William is barely outworking The Duke of Kent--a stroke survivor in his 80s! People will blame Kate's "cancer," yet William didn't pick up the pace of his workload after Kate released her music video announcing the end of her "treatment." No, instead William has undergone a weight loss program while simultaneously growing a beard!
Proof of life AND proof of marriage next week!
Remind me when the Waleses' Christmas card comes out again? After Kate's Christmas carol concert has been filmed? Either the weekend after the concert or the following week?
Asking for a friend...

Something for the "word nerds" and "academics" who "play a mean game of scrabble" like Megsy to ponder.... by u/Von_und_zu_
Something for the "word nerds" and "academics" who "play a mean game of scrabble" like Megsy to ponder.... This is interesting. It reminds me of the difference in the announcements of the births of the children as well. The royal wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton ♡
The wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton took place on Friday, 29 April 2011 at Westminster Abbey in London, England. One million people lined the route between Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace and the ceremony was viewed live by 162 million people worldwide, with a total of 36.7 million watchers in the United Kingdom alone.
The bride wore a dress designed by Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen. The gown was made of ivory satin and featured an overlaid long-sleeved V-neck lace bodice and appliquéd full skirt with box pleats, as well as a nine-foot train. The motifs in the lace included roses, thistles, daffodils and shamrocks to represent England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Catherine wore the Cartier Halo Tiara, lent to her by the Queen, as well as custom-made diamond earrings given to her by her parents (the piece features oak leaves similar to the scrolls of the Cartier Halo Tiara and an acorn, in reference to the Middleton's coat of arms). The bride's bouquet contained myrtle, lily of the valley, ivy, hyacinth and sweet William.
The groom wore an Irish Guards mounted officer's uniform in Guard of Honour Order with a forage cap, as well as the star of the Order of the Garter, his RAF wings and Golden Jubilee Medal.
On the morning of the wedding, it was announced that William was to be created Duke of Cambridge, Earl of Strathearn, and Baron Carrickfergus, with Catherine becoming Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge after the wedding.

Catherine's Statement Gown
Now that BAFTAs this year are over and the question many of us were waiting to see has been answered -- what will Catherine wear -- I want to comment on her white Jenny Packham evening gown which has shown up on two different BAFTA awards now.
h/t @the-empress-7 for this tweet pic
BAFTA 2019:
This and the James Bond premiere gold dress are Catherine's top regal looks IMO. I remember thinking she looked like an Empress walking with William up the red carpet but especially down into the auditorium. The Duke/Duchess of Cambridge were announced, the curtain at top of steps opened and the BAFTA audience went silent as she glided down the steps, head high. Why? #Empress vibes. William walked slightly behind her most of the way and just let her shine. Princess Grace of Monaco is the only other royal I can recall with this level of beauty/presence, and on this occasion Catherine out-Graced even Grace Kelly. Have a look:
youtube
I watched some of their other BAFTA arrival clips to refresh my memory, and 2019 was different. BAFTAs were in February 2019, and as we learned early March 2019, rumors had been circling in society alleging William was having an affair. Catherine reminded everyone she was the one and only royal Duchess of Cambridge, with her Duke smiling beside her and at her back all the way.
BAFTA 2023:
This time Catherine wore the re-worked Jenny Packham white gown as Princess of Wales. Social media accounts concerned Catherine was spending too much on new clothing hopefully welcomed her choice. (Shoutout to @honeytothebee and @the-empress-7 whose Tumblr posts always manage to comment on Catherine's wardrobe and the Wales family with wit and wisdom without sounding like either critics or sycophants. Ladies, you are a pleasure to read.)
Her ensemble has been analyzed in other threads, so I''ll just note that Catherine's 2023 look reflected an evolving chic personal style and was on trend.

The Duke and Duchess of Brindleton Bay (formerly of Cambridge) last evening attended the Children’s Trust gala in Greater Windenburg. The event takes place annually and Princess Katherine attends every year, being that she is the trust's patron.
For the occasion, Her Royal Highness wore a stunning off-the-shoulder black and white gown by @theroyalsims. To finish off the glamorous look, she pinned her sleek, straight hair up and carried a black satin clutch bag.
That was the second royal engagement of the day for the heir to the throne, who earlier that day visited the Lara-Leigh Children's Centre in Essex, where she learned about the work being done by local organizations in East Windenburg for young children and their families.
The Duchess was seen out and about today as she picked up grocery’s as well. She was joined by her husband, Rainier.
The Duchess of Brindleton Bay sticks to a busy schedule of engagements but still finds time to do her own shopping. Her Royal Highness is one of the busiest royals when it comes to official visits and duties, having carried out 288 engagements last year; third, behind The King and Queen.
We will see Princess Katherine and Rainier again this weekend when they attend the Hammond Derby in Brindleton Bay on Sunday.

Hello, and welcome to a post with a poll on the Princess’s Wimbledon style and a look at designs she has worn in purple. After seeing the Princess in a purple dress at Wimbledon, many of us tried to recall other instances where she has worn that color. I thought it would be an excellent exercise to see just how frequently or rarely the Princess has chosen purple designs. It turns out she has not selected this color as often as I thought she had. We begin with the Issa dress worn in Canada in July 2011. The occasion was a concert on Ottawa’s Parliament Hill to celebrate Canada Day. The Duchess of Cambridge’s dress featured a deep vee-neck, horizontal and vertical gathers at the front, a fitted waist, long sleeves, and a concealed back zipper. She accessorized with her bespoke Anya Hindmarch ‘Maud’ clutch (£485) in black silk and her black Prada pumps. The Duchess wore deco-style diamond earrings and a matching bracelet believed to be a wedding gift from then-Prince Charles. She also wore the late Queen’s diamond Maple Leaf brooch. In April 2016, the Duchess of Cambridge wore a purple half-Kira when receiving a ceremonial welcome in Bhutan. A woman’s Kira (also spelled Kera) is an ankle-length dress that is a traditional Bhutanese look. The Duchess and Queen Jetsun Pema. Her wool cape was by Paul and Joe. The Duchess did not wear a full Kira or dress but a skirt. The purple and teal fabric for the piece was sourced and woven in Bhutan by noted artisan Kelzang Wangmo. She wore LK Bennett’s ‘Floret’ heels ($375) with Lavender Amethyst & Diamond Earrings (£4900) by Kiki McDonough. In February 2017, the Duchess debuted a suit by Oscar de la Renta when attending a health writer’s conference with Prince William. The skirt suit was from the label’s Fall 2015 collection. Made in stretch wool boucle, the tailored jacket had a fitted bodice with a pleated, flared hem. The full skirt was constructed of the same material; it featured box pleats and a hidden back zipper. The Duchess accessorized with her Mulberry Bayswater Wallet Clutch, Gianvito 105 Black Suede Pumps ($795), and her Mappin & Webb Empress earrings. The Duchess repeated the look in January 2019 for an engagement at the Royal Opera House. On that occasion, she wore black patent Rupert Sanderson pumps, carried her black Aspinal Midi Mayfair bag ($865), and had on her Asprey Woodland Oak Leaf earrings ($12500). The Duchess wore the suit for the third time when formally opening the EACH (East Anglia’s Childen’s Hospices) Nook Hospice. The Duchess wore her Gianvito Rossi Piper Suede Pumps ($795) and Catherine Zoraida ‘Fern hoop’ earrings ($181). She also carried a clutch from the Aspinal/Beulah London handbag collaboration; a portion of the profits were donated to the UN’s Blue Heart Campaign Against Human Trafficking. Below, a look at the three different engagements. Initially, I wasn’t planning to include this in the post because the color looks more magenta than purple, but in certain light (particularly the January 2019 engagement), the color seemed close enough for inclusion. The brand’s name for the color was “ultraviolet.” In March 2019, the Duchess wore a Gucci blouse in a color called ‘pale violet orchid.’ The engagement was at a children’s center. The Gucci Silk Crepe Pussy Bow Blouse blouse was 100% silk satin georgette. It featured a loose silhouette, covered buttons on the back, a high collar with bow, and a straight hem. The Duchess wore her blouse with the buttons to the front (“backward” per product descriptions). We saw another shade of purple in September 2021 when the Duke and Duchess were in Northern Ireland. The separates were by Emilia Wickstead. The double-breasted Dida Jacket and slim-cut Gus Trousers were created in a custom color for the Duchess. The Duchess repeated the styles in November of last year for an early childhood symposium. In 2021, the Duchess wore her Emmy London Josie Block Heel Pumps ($595) in navy and carried a navy Jaeger handbag. In 2023, she wore her navy suede Gianvito 105 pumps ($795) in navy suede. The Princess wore a close-to-purple design, believed to be by Emilia Wickstead, during welcoming ceremonies for the South Africa State Visit in November 2022. The midi-length design featured a fitted bodice, peaked lapels, an applied waistband, and a pleated skirt. The Princess wore Queen Alexandra’s Three Feathers Brooch for the first time and the Collingwood Pearl Drop earrings. Her hat appeared to be a Sean Barrett design. Her other accessories were all in the burgundy family: her Gianvito 105 Pumps in Bordeaux suede, Mulberry Bayswater clutch, and UFO gloves. The Princess has worn lilac and lavender designs, including the Alexander McQueen gown worn in Los Angeles in 2011 and again in 2021 at the Earthshot Awards. There is also the Emilia Wickstead dress worn in Germany in 2017. and then again for a 2018 mental health summit. But they are not purple. This brings us to the Princess’s Wimbledon appearance in a purple Safiyaa dress. The Safiyaa Cecilia Dress name for this dress color is “lilac.” The A-line midi dress has structured sleeves, an applied waistband, and gathers across the bodice. As you can see, purple has not played a significant role in the Princess’s wardrobe. UPDATE 7:30 PM JULY 26: Here are three additional dresses I did not include in the post because I did not think they fit the “purple” description. In a comment, Cam asked about the LK Bennett Dee Crepe Shift Dress worn to an Early Years function in June 2021. In the center, the LK Bennett Madison seen in June 2022 for engagements in Cambridgeshire. On the right, the Marie-Louise Midi Dress by Faithfull the Brand worn when the Duchess helped plant the garden at The Nook Hospice. It is great to have your input in the comments and via email because you never know what I’ll forget and leave out! The designs shown above weren’t included because they were not strong purple pieces, much like the Alexander McQueen gown and Emilia Wickstead dress shown just above the Wimbledon Safiyaa dress. One dress I should have included that is definitely in the purple family: the Prabal Gurung worn in Singapore on the first leg of the 2012 Jubilee Tour. Thank you to Janet on Facebook for her comment mentioning this one. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ And now for our poll on the Princess’s Wimbledon outfits. Because we’re looking at a total of 25 ensembles, I have divided the poll into three sections. The first is on repeated styles, and the second and third are on new designs. Next week, we’ll take the top two from each category and do one final vote. We’ll begin with Wimbledon ensembles that were repeated looks. From left to right, you see the Alexander McQueen sailor-style knit dress, the Joseph Vanessa Dress and Nessie Tweed Jacket, the cream Zimmermann Roamer Day Dress, the Jonathan Saunders Evelyn Dress, the yellow and white custom version of Roksanda Ilincic’s Ryedale Dress, the green Dolce and Gabbana dress, the polka dot Alessandra Rich skirt paired with the oft-worn One-Button Blazer by Smythe, the azure blue Alessandra Rich Pleated Embellished Silk Crepe de Chine dress (initially worn in early June), and the yellow Roksanda Ilincic customized Brigitte Dress. Here is the poll. And now for our first batch of new looks worn to Wimbledon. From left to right, the white Temperley London Moraiah Dress, the red LK Bennett Cayla dress, the Alexander McQueen Obsessions Print dress, the Dolce & Gabbana black and white polka dot dress, Catherine Walker’s Wildflowers Print dress, the Jenny Packham ivory Tennis Ball dress, the yellow Dolce and Gabbana dress, and Suzannah London’s white Flippy Wiggle Dress. And now, the poll. And now, our final group of dresses. On the left, the Emilia Wickstead light blue dress, the green Emilia Wickstead Denver Dress, Beulah London’s Ahana Dress in blush, Alessandra Rich navy and white polka dot dress, Balmain’s minty green Two-Tone Crepe Blazer and UFO pleated skirt, the Self-Portrait Boucle Collared Chiffon Midi Dress in lime, Roland Mouret’s green Ruffle-Detail Asymmetrical Midi Dress, and the Safiyaa lilac Cecilia Dress. And here is the poll. I’m sure this would have been mentioned but could they have changed their last name to Sussex so that when Meghan divorces Harry she has the Sussex surname instead of Markle so she keeps the Royal connection?
No. Meghan's surname has legally been Sussex since May 19, 2018.
It's the children who haven't been able to use 'Sussex' as a surname. The "we finally have the same last name" comment is meant to cause outrage in people who don't know what has really been happening or how titles and styles work. It's a 'fuck you' to Charles.
Meghan still gets to keep the title after a divorce. Under the divorce protocols, Meghan becomes Meghan, Duchess of Sussex instead of Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, as she has been known since Megxit*. Meghan, Duchess of Sussex becomes her title for life unless she remarries and takes her new husband's name; however, that is only an assumption. Neither Diana nor Sarah have remarried so we don't actually know where the palace actually stands on this.
*Meghan's full official title is Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex but use of the HRH went into abeyance per the terms of the Sandringham Summit/Megxit. The HRHs still belong to her and Harry, they just can't use them. This is why they're fighting so hard for half in/half out - being "in" (even if only part time) lets them use their HRHs again.
Keep reading for how the Sussex title conversation got to where it is today...
A disclaimer first - I'm not an expert by any means on titles. My knowledge on titles comes from the royal books I've read and it is totally possible I may be wrong on any of this.
When Harry was getting married, Queen Elizabeth gave him a new title, The Duke of Sussex, as a wedding gift. This is an important distinction to make - the title was given to Harry only, not to Harry and Meghan. (I see a lot of newer fans/royal watchers making this mistake.) When Meghan married Harry and became his wife, she took The Duchess of Sussex as her new married name (with Duchess being the female equivalent of Duke). Meghan is also able to use Harry's HRH in this way too; she only has HRH because it's Harry's and she assumed it as part of his Duke of Sussex surname.
Royal family protocol is that if you have a title - whether it's your own or courtesy of your husband or father - then that title becomes your surname. Hence Kate calling herself Mrs. Cambridge and George being registered for school as George Cambridge. If you don't have a title, then you use the family's surname, Mountbatten-Windsor.
Princess Anne was the first person to use Mountbatten-Windsor in an official capacity when she signed the marriage register with Mark Phillips. Lady Louise (Edward and Sophie's daughter) is the first person to actually be known with Mountbatten-Windsor as her surname; her actual name is Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor. And also William used Mountbatten-Windsor as his surname when he sued over Kate's topless photos, which suggests that the titled members of the family may use Mountbatten-Windsor in a personal capacity.
Because Harry and Meghan declined titles for their children, Archie and Lili's surname at birth were Mountbatten-Windsor. So the family was The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Master Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, and Miss Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor. Even if Harry and Meghan had allowed their children to use their titles from birth, they still all would've had different surnames: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, the Earl of Dumbarton, and Lady Lilibet Mountbatten-Windsor.
But now that Archie and Lili are grandchildren of the monarchy and eligible to use HRH Prince/Princess honorifics (per the 1917 letters patent), Harry and Meghan have changed their minds on allowing Archie and Lili to use titles. So now Archie and Lili can use their own titles (technically Harry's title) and now everyone finally has the same surname under family protocol of using Dad's title as their surname - all four of them are now legally HRH ____ of Sussex, even though the HRHs are in abeyance.
This is where the 'eff you' to Charles comes in: if the BRF had just done a new letters patent for Harry and Meghan's kids when she was pregnant with Archie (as they did for William and Kate) then all of this would have been avoided in the first place. So in Harry and Meghan's eyes, it's the BRF's fault they're weren't a 'real' family until just now when they all began using the Sussex surname.
Other than remarrying after a divorce or Harry's death, the only way Meghan loses Sussex is if the title is removed from Harry - voluntarily, by Parliament, or by Charles. If Harry doesn't have the title, then Meghan can't use the title and neither can the children. If this were to happen, then Harry becomes The Prince Harry ('The' signifying he is the son of the reigning monarch), Meghan becomes The Princess Harry, and I'm not sure what Archie and Lili get.
In this case, I can see Harry and Meghan legally changing their family's surname from Mountbatten-Windsor to Sussex so the family can continue being Sussex without Harry having the title but I can't see anyone taking it away at this point, even if Parliament did change the laws. What's probably more likely is a letters patent from Charles that converts the Sussex title from "Harry and the heirs male of his body lawfully begotten" to just Harry and only for his lifetime (as Charles awarded Edward the Duke of Edinburgh title).
