I was taking a school final exam (like A-levels) in Math, which was held by a medieval-ish theatre group. First assignment was to make an equation from a very vague, long text. Guess I failed because I didn't have the right pen.

I know a lot is going on in the world right now but this kind of loss of art is breaking my heart in two.

The Valentino’s Costume Group in Hollywood has lost everything after the death of their co-founder, the pandemic, strikes, etc. and is now being forced to do a very quick liquidation sale before having to send all of their years of hard work to be turned into rags. (Yes this is a real thing)

These people have crafted thousands of costumes over 20 years to rent to everyone and anyone who needed one. They’re sex worker and queer friendly. They’re also being accused of being “fast fashion” while being one of the few places in this world actively working against fast fashion with their work. They don’t want to have to turn their hard work into rags. It’s the only option for them with the enormous amount of costumes/fabrics they have to remove from the building very quickly.

So, Californians and anyone willing to travel to Hollywood: YOU can save a costume! (or two?) YOU can save someone’s art from being destroyed! YOU can own pieces of Hollywood! YOU can save so much sewing supplies and fabrics!

Important note: Please be kind and patient with the folks managing this sale. There’s maybe 2-3 people working at the most, and they all just suffered the death of someone close to them and the loss of their dream.

Dude you absolutely KNOW Dipper and Ford would have geeked the fuck out about the new DND movie. Stan and Mabel would have groaned about going with them to see it in theatres but you know they would've gone and 100% gotten just as invested in the movie. Dipper and Ford would've had a in-depth discussion about what versions, spells and classes inspired what in the movie after and wouldn't have shut up while watching the movie making comments about what spell was being cast.

This is adorable. #Fanboy might also be my favorite tag that Georgia has used in a long, long time. It's so earnest and geeky, yet so perfect. David is a Michael fanboy, through and through, and doesn't need anything beyond a picture with the Nye poster for us to see exactly how he feels. That we also get the dimple on his cheek working overtime in this picture is just a delightful bonus...

HOLY GODS OF GREEN DAY, YOU GUYS

If you have a chance to see Deaf West Theater and CTG's production of Green Day's "American Idiot" stage musical before the end of their run - DO IT.

The Deaf/signing actors and their hearing/singing counterparts are spectacular, the music and dancing are off the charts, and this whole production is FUCKING CHAMP.

It's like all my hopes and dreams of Deaf representation and art and creativity come true in a FIREBALL EXPLOSION OF ROCK GOD MUSIC.

Literally as soon as I got home I bought tickets to see it again.

Hearing, Deaf, or HoH, this musical will ROCK YOUR SOUL.

also yeagh i got curious and decided to attempt designing a grownup Max as a camp counselor in the future! i have 0 doubt that this is already a thing, and there’s probably a whole ass AU for it already, but i chose to go in blind!

Chu really understood the material and how to improve on it for the adaptation

can’t think of anything to say other than it was everything I could have ever expected and wanted and hoped for. seeing them perform truly is an electric experience and I am so, so grateful I got to be there. I’ve never felt such overflowing joy and love in one room before and that truly is down to what a one-of-a-kind group Starkid is. I’m so happy and a little emotional that it’s over but like it’s sung in days of summer, “don’t wanna see you go but it’s not forever, not forever” ⭐️💜
