Anthony's Stupid Daily Blog (883): Sun 18th Aug 2024
I tuned into the finals of the New Japan G1 Climax and while I was gutted that Yota Tsuji didn't win I'm still happy for Zack Sabre Jr, he's been working his arse off for years in New Japan and hopefully this will be the beginning of his road to the IWGP Championship. I was hoping that New Japan would do a Brock Lesnar with Tsuji and have him plow through the roster and win the title in a short amount of time. Out of all theYoung Lions from the class that were around when I first started watching New Japan Tsuji has definitely benefited the most as his new look is amazing and he's lready got a New Japan Cup win under his belt. I think Boltin Oleg and Gabe Kidd are really good but as for the other former Young Lions I think there's a massive amount of work to be done. When Ren Narita returned from excursion I could tell he'd improved a lot and although his gimmick was essentially Shibata 2.0 that could've been fixed with a little tweaking but then for some reason they stuck him in House of Torture and now he wrestles in emo tights and a sleeveless shirt and I have lost all interest in him, well done New Japan. Shota Umino apparently has a dedicated following since his return who are trying to push him up the card with their support but I personally don't see it in terms of his look / presense. Much like Seth Rollins he's a great worker but I don't get what the fuck this gimmick is supposed to be. Yuya Umera really benefited from his run in TNA and his charisma and in ring has improved a lot but I think there's still a bit of work to be done. I think with Boltin Oleg they should do something similar to what AEW did with Darby Allin and Sting i.e have Tanahashi accompany to the ring to endorse him and then occasionally tag with him to give him the rub. However of all the former Young Lions my favourite to watch is undoubtedly Gabe Kidd. He has a great look and has such a superstar aura about him. If they were going to make anyone the new leader of Bullet Club I think Gabe Kidd would have been a much better choice than David Finlay. If you look at the history of Bullet Club leaders you've got Prince Devitt, AJ Styles, Kenny Omega, Jay White…David Finlay…one of these is not like the others. Evidentally someone in New Japan thinks that Finlay is the best thing going in wrestling at the moment which is adorable but he just screams midcard talent to me.

Blake waking up to find theyoung Nep under his covers, face between his legs and purring softly. Shes not used to humans nor their genitals. Might just assume they’re different in some way.
He groans a little, having told her not to do things like that, especially when he's sleeping, in case of morning wood... but he reaches down anyway, stroking her hair.

At the court of one nobleman Mar had served a few years ago as a guard, there had been a horsetrainer whom the Halforc would watch in the morning when she would be training in the courtyard. It had always been so early int hemorning that the morningmist had still lay like a thick blanket over the area and the trainer and the young horses were peeling out of the layers of gray with every move. She rememberd that the young, untrained horses would try to appear taller and bigger than they were to frighten the trainer and she rememberd that with all the tallness and all the noises they were still unmistakenly not archieving what they were pretnding to be. This was the image that came to Mars mind when Birvor swirled around to her - prancing like theyoung horses pretending to be big and strong and expierenced would- and if she would have any less control of herself - or 'be too much like an orc' as the older mercenarys in her village had told her whenever she would not act the way they wanted- she would have even laughed quietly over the younger Halforcs reaction, but she had that control and she still heard the older mercenarys voices in the back of her head stitching into her mind like thin silverneedles at any moment to 'not act like an orc' , so all she did was turning her head to the side and rise a small freckled hand before her mouth to hide the amused smile that would have showed her tusks too much.
"Oh than, if you do not know, how about I go with -" there was the hint of a pause and Mar turned her stark freckled face away a little more to hide the grin pulling at the corner of her mouth- "-Young Sir Birvor of Cragdew?" The young woman covered her mouth with her hands to hastily swallow her laughter, taking a few deep breaths, and than only shaked her head over her own actions like one would shake their head over a childish game. With a quit huff she turned back to the other and lowered her head in a hinted bow:
"My apologize, Sir Cragdew. I am just teasing. Please do not take that banter serious. I did not meant any harm and I am not aiming to hurt you." There was still a little smile on her face and as always Mar rose a hand to hide it.
"So if it is not 'young Sir'; how am I suppose to refer to you?" Mars voice was as alwyays stern and her word direct, as if she was giving orders. There was however a hint of a amused shimmer in the womans red eyes and the wisp of a smile curling around her left tusks that showed that she was indeed teasing. Which also might was noticeable in the little pause Mar made befor delivering the horrible end of the very horrible joke: "Young mister?" @halforc-mercenary
His teeth were already grinding at the first 'young sir' of the evening, so it was with great gusto that he wheeled around to fling just what he thought of the awfully appointed title in the form of a look that perfectly encompassed all the components of a branding- a poor attempt at concealing a grimace, grinding teeth, and the subtle hint of betrayal found within eyes not promised when exactly the hot rod would fall. Oh, and fall it did with that not so helpful revision made so jovially on her part.
"Well, you could start with- oh, I dun'o..." A leather glove crinkled into a fist made by his side that no amount of clenching tight could still the tremble or two within. Only flinging it out to the side and extending his fingers seemed to do the trick. "...MY LIT'RAL NAME?" With a scowl, he shook his head to see if it would help clear the blood pooling into his face as he tucked his bottom lip under his tusks in an indignant pout that turned into a series of stabs at the air via the sharp ends. "-and I been an adult 9 years proper, I'll has ya know. Birvor '9 years proper' of House Cragdew."

Danied hummed, gently holding Dae by his chin again, kissing him on the soft lips before speaking again. "Let's take this to bed, it will be more comfortable," he murmured. He let go of the yougner boy's face and held him by the thighs, picking him up so he could carry him wherever he wanted him to.
Resting theyoung idol on the bed he crawled atop of him, leaning in to kiss him again. "Do we want a safe word, my darling?" he asked him, caressing his cheek and gently resting his forehead against his. he wanted to slow down for a just a second to make sure that Dea really wanted this.
"Oh, are we into biting and nipping? Do we like it a little rough?" Daniel teased Dae upon feeling the nip on his lower lip, his own grin slightly widening at the sensation. For just a few moments he pushed his tongue into the younger boy's mouth, letting it ever so slowly brush over his before pulling it back, now just kissing his lips again. "Do you want to move this to the sofa or to bed, so we are more comfortable?" he then suggested in a soft tone, pushing a strand of hair behind Dae's ear, his lips still hovering just a few milimeters away from his.

Snow fell, and crunched under boot as Alexander made way to the Clockmaker’s Shop, where Grief and Vlad Jr. had been working together. Between managing the town and the various crises that popped up, he hadn’t the time to check in on the young Olgimsky.
Today, he needed him. He had suspected that there were still a few of Big Vlad’s bounty men among the patrolmen, and with a large gathering of Kin and Townsfolk about to happen in the Crude Sprawl, it was in their best interests to have no one affiliated with the Enterprise there in any official capacity.
He’d done his best to prevent Olgimsky’s men from undermining him during the outbreak, but the hiring wasn’t foolproof, because he couldn’t personally oversee it.
He’d left the Epidemic Committee in charge of hiring patrolmen to help enforce quarantine and cordoning measures- but with the recent discovery that one of the Managers he had to fire was on the Olgimsky payroll, Saburov had to call into question every patrolman that the manager had hired.
Vlad Jr. was also on the Epidemic Committee, and would likely have been aware of the schemes of the Elder to disrupt what little reforms that Saburov could make while also managing the Sand Pest.
It was too late to be angry about it. All he could hope was to tie up loose ends and have things start with as clean a slate as he could manage- though how clean could the metaphorical slate come, when it was tarnished by a century-and-a-half of wrongdoings?
“S’place was meant to die off n’ fuck off. N’ here you are defendin’ it. Noble of ya. Real noble.”
Grief’s words the night before. He’d not told anyone other than Clara that he had always... known that the town was doomed. A persistent feeling that was always brushed off by the other families as his “Capitol biases“. But it wasn’t. To him, it was common sense. A village couldn’t get by with only one doctor and a pharmacy- what hope could a town have?
Very little. They had little power- thank God for the one factory that was kept running to keep it warm in the winter. They had no fire department, or waterworks... a thought that crossed his mind as he entered the Skinners, which was completely transformed by the fire that had consumed it years ago...
A fire he had always suspected that Nina started- though nothing could be proven, as the houses that were there before were only the “tinderbox“ houses, closely packed and thatched roof things that had been there since the formation of the town well before Saburov’s lifetime.
He sighs, thinking about it all, his breath fogging the air.
Finally arriving outside the Clock Shop, he raps a knuckle against the door, before walking in, ringing the chimes that hung over the door that heralded the arrival of customers.
“Vlad? I’ve a task I need your help with.“

She, admittedly, does sit on the document for most of the morning before she approaches Vlad about it. It seems like the best course of action, considering... everything.
And how all of his and Grief’s interactions and... weird animosity suddenly make more sense.
She finds him elbows deep in another box - they’ve got to be digging through a small forest’s worth of paper. The Enterprise’s documents are many, particularly as she’s discovering said “enterprise” ran in more products than just beef and hide.
“So.” She says as she sits on one of the clerk desks, next to several paper stacks divided by content. “I don’t have a much better way to start this than to simply say it. When was someone going to let me know Bad Grief is our brother?”
#woop there it is#she was gonna try and be tactful but there's only so tactful you can be with this shit#theyounger
