COMMENTARY:
You have corrupted the Apostle's Creed by leaving off the verse "Suffered under Pontius Pilate". Pilate is the existential anchor of Christianity. this is a Marxist attempt to write Jesus out of history dating bac to the anti-war insurgency.

*#takingadvantageofgrace #allthingsarelegalized #licensetosin #anythinggoes #openseason #parksandrec* *#unprofitablethings #thehighercalling* If the church is not called to fight sin, why do the Apostles advise us to avoid certain things? Paul writes to the Corinthians - *‘All things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable’ - 1Cor 6:12.* First of all, what an unabashedly bold statement! *All things are lawful for the church!* Yes, we stand justified by Christ, and hence *God does not count sins we commit in our flesh. So all things are indeed lawful for us!* The Corinthians started *taking advantage of that knowledge.* So Paul rebukes them – ‘It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that even pagans do not tolerate: *A man is sleeping with his father’s wife. And you are proud!’ - 1Cor 5:1-2.* Next question: But if all things are indeed lawful for the church, why is Paul rebuking the Corinthians?

*#whygiveupthislife #oathtosacrificeearthlylife #giveupearthlyambitions #risetoproclaimtheKingdomofGod* *#christsbaptism #baptismaloath #thehighercalling #nopainnogain* At Christ's baptism, we die to all our earthly fleshly life, as Jesus did (Rom 6:3-5, Col 3:3). We *die to Adam i.e. give up our earthly goals* and ambitions, even lawful desires, and *rise to Christ, dedicating our life to perform deeds of faith, to suffer for the sake of his gospel.* Why should we be willing to give up all claims to our earthly lives? When James and John asked to be seated by his side in the Kingdom thrones, Jesus asked them – “Can you drink the cup I drink or be baptized with the baptism I am baptized with?” “We can,” they answered. Jesus said to them, “You will drink the cup I drink and be baptized with the baptism I am baptized with.” Mark 10:38-39. Yes, if we want to sit in thrones with Christ in his Kingdom, then we need to offer our present lives like Christ for the sake of his gospel. Next question: What does Paul say about this?

*#squidgame #twoammusings #evilikeepondoing #thehighercalling #repentfromdeadworks* *#whatawretchedman #nomancankeepit #lawcovenant #sininme #allundersin #sinceEden* At midnight I rise to give you thanks for your righteous laws. Psalm 119:62. If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us. 1 John 1:8-10. Paul definitively declares it’s humanly impossible to work against sin and become righteous. But… why is that? He explains why – ‘We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as *a slave to sin.* I do not understand what I do. *For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.* And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. *For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing.* Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but *it is sin living in me that does it.* So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death?’ Romans 7:14-24. Next question: But, why is every human in this state?

*#thesimpsons* Paul predicted: "After my departure, savage wolves will rise, perverting truths to draw away disciples." Acts 20:29-30. After Apostles died, the Roman Empire hijacked Christianity, bringing in unbiblical doctrines [hell, immortal soul etc.], so that it can convert thousands of pagans to Christianity easily. Biblical hope for a future Kingdom of Christ was abolished as the Roman Empire claimed itself to be that Kingdom.

*#fleshisnotsinfulnature* *#spiritvsflesh #thehighercalling #inigomontoya #theprincessbride* “Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.” Romans 8:5-6. What does this Flesh vs Spirit mean? Many think that a mind governed by the flesh refers to sin. But Paul doesn't say 'sin' here. He uses the word 'flesh'. Are acts of the flesh just sin alone? No, everything we do is an act of the flesh. Next question: So what does 'living according to the flesh' mean?
