In a recent interview with Glamour, Jensen Ackles teased that the series finale of Supernatural, an episode full of collaborative Easter eggs tracing back to the show’s beginnings and that is mainly focused on the relationship between Sam and Dean, “is this beautiful throwback to the whole show–to what it was, what it has been, and what it is today.” Throughout its 15 seasons, Supernatural kept its exploration of relationships firmly rooted in platonic and familial love, and the series finale paid tribute to how beautiful, powerful, and significant these types of relationships are as Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester’s (Ackles) story came to a close. Nothing against romance, of course, or the importance romantic love does obviously play in many people’s lives. But for those of us whose main connection with love stems from platonic or familial connections, or who at least recognize what makes non-romantic relationships special on their own, Supernatural’s dedication to telling a different kind of love story was refreshing and welcome from beginning to end.

1. Who is your favorite character in 2? (Teen Wolf) Well do I even need to answer that one? Derek Hale, always and forever Derek. Nobody else will ever come close.

2. Who is your least favorite character in 1? (BtVS) It's a tie beteen Riley Finn and Maggie Walsh really. If I had to pick one of the two at gunpoint, it'd probably be Maggie Walsh because I hate her just a LITTLE bit more. Just a tad though.

3. What’s your favorite episode of 4? (The 100) That's a tough one. I've only seen it once so far so the episodes sorta bleed into one another and I can't really name a specific one. I think the S2 finale has probably been the most powerful one, and also the hardest to watch. But I'd have to do a complete re-watch (which I will do at some point) to be able to really answer that question.

4. What’s your favorite season of 5? (Arrow) Definitely Season 1. I loved Malcolm Merlyn as an antagonist, and that entire "The Undertaking" storyline was really entertaining to watch. I don't dislike S2 or S3 but I do like S1 better.

5. What’s your favorite relationship in 3? (SPN) Gosh that's a tough one, and it really depends. Sam & Dean, Dean & Castiel, Dean & Charlie, the brothers & Bobby - I CANNOT PICK JUST ONE HERE COME ON!

6. Who is your anti-relationship in 1? (BtVS) Buffy/Riley. If we extend it beyond canon and include fanon, Buffy/Xander as a ship.

7. How long have you watched 4? (The 100) I actually only started watching when S2 was already half-finished, then I went on a Netflix binge and caught up within one weekend.

8. How did you become interested in 3? (SPN) God that was so long ago, I've been watching the thing since ep 1 first aired. I guess I saw a trailer, and it just ticked every box on the "what I'm looking for in a tv show" list: Supernatural stuff, sorta dark-ish, and pretty boys. And it seemed like fun. Well, here we are ten seasons later... I might have to re-evaluate my original opinion on that "fun" part.

9. Who is your favorite actor in 2? (Teen Wolf) Please see my answer to question #1 and maybe that'll help you figure out my answer to this one. ;-) Yep, it's Hoechlin. I know he's not the BEST actor on the cast, objectively, but he's my favourite. But JR Bourne comes in a very close second.

10. Which show do you prefer: 1, 4 or 5? (BtVS, The 100, Arrow) This really isn't fair on either The 100 or Arrow, because BtVS to this day is still my all-time favourite tv show and I don't think I ever will pick another one when "or BtVS" is part of the question (kinda like with books and movies, I doubt that my answer there will ever be anything else than "Harry Potter"). However, that said, The 100 actually is a show that definitely has a shot at becoming another of my long-term faves, because it is just awesome so far. So my pick between The 100 and Arrow definitely is The 100.

11. Which show have you seen more episodes of? 1 or 3? (BtVS or SPN) Well I've seen all episodes for both of these shows (all of the above shows to be honest), but since BtVS ended after seven seasons, and SPN isn't finished even after Season 10 and thus simply has more episodes than BtVS, the answer is SPN.

13. How would you kill off your favorite character in 1? (BtVS) Why on earth would I kill off my favourite character ON ANY SHOW? So the answer is NOT AT ALL WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?! (that aside, two of my three favourite characters on that show HAVE died, several times, and the third one has been in a coma for months so I really think that's enough.)

14. Would a 2/3 crossover work? (Teen Wolf / SPN) Hell yeah! And there's a few brilliant fan fics doing exactly that already. :-)

15. Pair two characters in 2 that would make an unlikely but strangely okay couple. (Teen Wolf) Teen Wolf has MANY problems and shipping definitely is at the top of that list so I'm not touching a Teen Wolf shipping question with a ten-foot pole. I've seen enough drama in that fandom to last for several lifetimes, thank you very much.

16. Overall, which show had a better cast: 3 or 5? (SPN or Arrow) SPN. The Arrow cast seems fun, and I'm not saying any of them are bad (because I don't think they are). But they just don't beat Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins, and especially not Jensen Ackles (seriously, give that man a fucking Emmy already).

17. And finally, which show has a better soundtrack: 1, 4 or 5? (BtVS, The 100 or Arrow) I honestly couldn't name one song from Arrow. I loved the music from BtVS, but The 100 has pretty rad music as well. So I'd say 5 (Arrow) is out but then it's probably a tie between 1 (BtVS) and 4 (The 100).

Sorry but no. He did the ship vid. The 50/50 answer. The “I just did” one. He used the fandom EXACTLY like the pr team did. I love him as well, but this is double standard.

I'll tell you exactly why he's apparently 'double standard' because Hoechlin tries to please EVERYONE in everything he replies with, yeah he's said plenty of times he loves Stiles and Derek but he never said romantically, he said he enjoyed Stiles and Derek's scenes together, he never admitted anything about liking them together romantically, he said he loves their interactions.

In the question he answered, he's specially being asked if he SHIPS Sterek, and shipping means romantically and Hoechlin has voiced his opinion about the romantic side of Sterek, everything he has ever answered before has been purely on him presuming their friendship. So he's done nothing wrong.

To the anon concerned about ratings: some people will say it for sure, but actually ratings depend on the audience's reaction to the previous episode or on the adv for the current ep. That means: 1. the audience had been unhappy with the first ep., 2. the adv had failed. Anyway, with the actual state of the fandom, ratings are unpredictable, many people are leaving the show but many others are back 'cause of the sterek scenes...

True but considering the spoilers we have for upcoming episodes, it might even out. People liked the Sterek moments but they don't like what's coming next.

Hi Cole, just want to point my comment on the poll to you. I did regular check on it and even a "push back" experiment with a little help from a friend (he's a software developer) - PART 1: So, apparently some fanatic had used a BOT in this poll in the past 48h to alter the poll’s result. When a BOT is used the same quantity of votes are casted in the same amount of time, without any variations due to envirorment (nighttime, dinner/lunch time, work/school etc.)

Thank-you. It was quite clear that somebody was altering the votes in Stalia and Malia's favor. What a hilariously sad thing to do.
