Obviously the answer is, “No, Sammy, if it’s really, really, real true love, there’s no turning it off. There’s no backtracking, no falling out of love. Ever!”

Dean sits beside his brother, the late-afternoon sunlight painting Sam's face in a very-special golden autumn-ish glance. Sam is doing his homework, the tip of his tongue wetting his lips, and he is so adorable with his glowing cheeks and his smart eyes full of understanding for whatever he is doing.

Suddenly, Sam looks up, eyes on Dean, questioningly so.

"When you can fall in love, can you also fall out of love?" he asks, and his smile is so innocent, so pure that Dean has to turn his head away.

The question is big, and powerful. It seems to punch Dean in the stomach, unforeseen and unwanted. And so painful. He has to look away, hands clenched into fists. There's a long pause until Dean's panic fades.

"Don't think that's a question for school", he finally says, petting Sam's hair. "Don't think about this, yes, Sammy?"

@shinyfuryturtle This is one of best fic recs that I’ve found!! I love plot heavy fics, with twists and turns, so much angst and heartbreak, but ultimately with a happy ending!! I’ve already read the first 6 of them. (#6 I had already read because honestly, who doesn’t read whatever @deadlybride publishes?!!). Thanks so much for occupying the last couple days for me!!

Lebanon 14x13. Been looking forward to this episode. For the significant role John and Mary play in their son's lives and in canon, I think this is the first, and only, time they're all together ever "in real time". A bittersweet moment at dinner for sure.

Sam gets some closure with his Dad and he's able to tell his father John did the best he could, that he loved them and fought for them; he let his dad know he understands and doesn't resent that any more.

I forgot that John tells Dean that he never wanted this life for them, that he thought after yellow eyes was dead they'd get out of the life. I'm not sure how John could realistically believe that was going to happen after the way he raised them. Seems a bit disingenuous to me.

I adore the scene with Sam and Dean washing the dishes. It's just such a domestic picture plus Dean tellls his brother that he is good with them being them implying that he wouldn't change what they've been through if it makes them who they are today.

Plus the blooper for the scene in which Sam smashes the Pearl is one of my absolute favourites. Has me in stitches every time!

Isn’t this the scene just before Sam, always Dean’s sweet and thoughtful little brother, asks the flight attendant for a blanket because he and his brother are cold? Of course the Flight Attendant brings them two blankets, he did say them because they need to fly under the radar for as long as they can, they are hunting a Demon on this flight, after all.

Sam smiles and accepts them. He then places one of them on Dean, and the other on himself. Dean gives him a confused and sweaty look. He says, “Sam I’m not cold, can’t you see, I’m sweating bullets over here?“. Sam’s tired of Dean freaking out because they’re on an airplane. He rolls his eyes and stares at his big brother. “De”, the long used nickname when they were younger, makes him shiver involuntarily, “Can you trust me for a little bit? I think I can make your first airplane ride more bearable.”

Of course, Dean responds the way he always when he sees his brotherseyes sparkle. “‘Course, Sammy, you know you’re my ride or die. The only person I truly trust.” Rubbing the back of his neck and mumbling, Dean says “ you know, my person.”

LOL, @aqyuyra , you are so right it does look like they’re about ready to kiss in multiple scenes. And if you watch Jensen and Jared in the early seasons like when they’re on the red carpet and stuff, Jared is always trying to kiss Jensen and it’s hilarious.!
