update on my eep cosplay

so the sewing portion of the dress is mostly done but there are a few things i need to adjust and add (another button on the back) but i’m so excited!!!! the pictures do it no justice because it looks spot on in person. it also is more fitted on me (but for some reason it was such a struggle to get the dress on it????)

i have safety pins holding the suede lace in place which is why it’s not exactly in the middle in the pictures. i’ve put pins around the middle to mark where i need to dye it lighter/for less time. dyeing it will be an adventure but i at least have some painful experience. and THEN i’ll have the fun of using fabric spray paint to do the stripes. yay. andddd the last step will be sewing on suede fabric (that *sigh* i will also have to dye) for the details

being a perfectionist is such a pain in the ass but i know this dress will be amazing because of it
