15/10 mission, I was not expecting this interaction at all with these two series but I'm glad I got to witness Gunmax completely obliterate himself from embarrassment

Studio Sunrise's 1999 Gaogaigar spinoff anime "Betterman" is one of the most atrociously confusing and nonsensical shows to ever pass itself off as horror

It is both sincerely and ironically the best time I've had watching an animated series in a VERY long time

Mad props to the artists, songwriters, vocalists, etc. etc. behind any given version of Chin Requiem for managing to nail a perfect intersection of horrifying, downright feral, and somehow hopeful and inspirational tones. There’s a vocal range at work there you just don’t see often.
