Since you like slugs, what are your opinion on worms?
We’re all gonna end up in the ground to be eaten by them in order to feed the earth that feeds us. Like the worms, it spirals, and yet it ends at some point, and starts again.
For the worms crawl in, the worms crawl out. The worms crawl in, the worms crawl out. The worms crawl in, the worms crawl out. The worms crawl in, the worms crawl out. Henry, father of the year.
Anyways, long rant about this, which 50% of it is just me listing examples.
Charlie is Henry's daughter. He brought her to life. He raised her for the first 2-4 years of her life (hurray for bad math + recons). He is her father, even if it's not by blood.
She's fully sentient. She has emotions, thoughts, opinions, and free will.
When Charlie no longer gives him joy, he wants her to be locked up and burned. I understand he may of not known she was actually alive, but she really wasn't hurting anyone. She had friends she brought joy to. There was no harm in letting her live. And again, we as the readers know that Charlie is truly alive.
But he doesn't see that. He doesn't see the girl: with friends, whom doesn't like seeing toys be taken apart, whom would end a friendship if they didn't like her toys, whom droped a jar of beads, because she was qurious what the after math would be, whom gave her friend's writing 2 stars, whom had a crush on the boy always covered in dirt, whom found her friend barfing on the rude kid funny, and then felt bad about finding it funny, whom imitated her father by doing paper work with crayons, whom was scared of foxy, nor whom hated being called Charlotte by anyone, but her father.
He saw a doll to replace his previous daughter. When she stopped making him happy, he wanted to lock her up for decades, and then finally have her burnt. If she were to survive, and manage to crawl out the rubble, he ordered her aunt to put a bullet in her.
She was "7" when he told his sister these instructions.

My sense of time is so wack and I'm sure part of it is because I'm always so busy that the days fly by but checking up on an artist and seeing that their last homestuck post was a fairly long time ago is very jarring

(mgv) when wilson finds house stress-nesting (always at home, even when the urge hits at work the idea of nesting at the hospital is so Wrong to him [this is due to his own issues with his omega status + vulnerability, not respect for the hospital]) he is entirely comfortable invading his space if he feels he's doing the right thing. the instinct to keep away from a nesting omega that hasn't invited him is overwhelmed by the instinct to help and the knowledge that house doesn't have anything to eat or drink in there -- if he's stress-nesting he never thinks about it, too concerned with the actual nestmaking. and sometimes he can be in there for hours. so while it's actually rude, offensive, and a total breach of boundaries for an alpha to involve himself with a nesting omega without permission, wilson does it anyway with no guilt. even if house is growling and threatens to bite him if he sticks his hand in, wilson knows he's all bark so he just ignores it and shoves water and snack crackers in there for him anyway

A hole seemed to have been dug - or perhaps it simply mysteriously opened up- overnight. Something seems to be moving within it. Beckoned by the vibration of footsteps, a dark clump of...many wriggling somethings pokes itself out from the hole.

hey I refuse to reblog this but this is genuinely one of the most disgusting radfem posts I've seen in a while
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I think y'all should check out the reblogs on this. The most misogynistic and homophobic flaming dogshit you've ever seen in your life. I don't even think the tweet from the drag queen is "making fun of" Chappell??? It sounds like a positive post??? It's literally someone else dressed like Chappell making a joke????
NOBODY is more misogynistic than fucking radfems. This is so vile I'd expect to see it on 4chan.
You should be ashamed of yourselves. Feminist my ass. Fuck you.

Thinking about how in Glass Onion, Miles claims he saw the Mona Lisa at six in this foundational experience with his mom, and his life goal is to do something that will be mentioned in the same breath as the Mona Lisa, and people hear that and go ‘what does it mean’ and whoever defends him says ‘it means immortality.’ How it’s the thing he spends millions on just to get to see, and installs an override to be able to look in the eyes, right? The one thing he claims to truly care about, and love, and be inspired by. Value. And how even knowing he murdered two people, both friends, his entire group of shithead lackies still won’t turn on him, are going to let him get away with it all. Until the Mona Lisa burns, and he’s responsible for it. And then they’re all going to go to the cops and ruin his life together. Because you can’t get away with destroying the Mona Lisa. You can’t. And how the movie clearly displays the Mona Lisa Miles has as just not quite the right size, the right color. How it burns, and it’s clear it’s canvas. When the real Mona Lisa was painted on poplar wood. Which means he loses a replication, and the museum sent him a fake. Which means if Miles had truly known about and cared about and valued even one single thing his entire life, other than himself, even just the one thing he claimed to love above all, he still would have avoided going to jail and losing everything. But he didn’t. Because he’s a stupid piece of shit. Who deserves everything he has coming.

Related to worm post: What's your fav version of The Hearse Song? I'm personally partial to Rusty Cage and the version that pops up in The Midnight Gospel!
youtube
It may not be as traditional as the many covers, but please listen to how FRIGGIN EPIC THIS IS. I wanna jam to a song of rot and decomposition, not a repeating sense that kinda eventually gets old. Give me something to feel like I’m crawling from the earth as flies, locusts, slugs, worms and fungus spew out like hands from the grave. Let me sing of what disturbed me as a kid and embrace what I missed when I was a little lassie.
