“Ew, Robin!” Steve yelps. Tossing the blanket off his bed to slap at her shoulders. Fuck this shit.

“I’m serious, Steve. I think it’s time that maybe—perhaps—you consider—that maybe you’re into men.”

Steve can’t help but scoff. “Well, no shit Rob. Of course I’m into men. That’s not fucking new. It’s not men that are the problem—it’s him.”

Robin’s eyes go wide. “Well, shit, Steve. This revelation is pretty damn new to me!”

Steve tries to stop his eyes rolling to the back of his head—he really does.

“Oh come on, Robbie. I’m me. Is this ‘revelation’ really all that shocking.”

“I—“ Robin sighs. “Yeah, well. It always kinda has made sense hasn’t it?” She can’t help but laugh. “But why is Ed—“

Steve cuts her off. “Don’t.”

She laughs again, “Oh, come on, Steven. You just came out to me at ten at night on a Tuesday in January. God forbid I say Eddie Munson’s name.”

“Ew, Robin!” Steve couldn’t handle this. Really he couldn’t.

Her laughing was getting out of control now.

“Oh my god! Your blushing! This is even crazier than the fucking demogorgons!”

I'm always so fascinated to read about weird encounters from around the world, the UFO phenomenon is so interesting even if I don't think it's aliens lol. I wonder if there were any reported entity encounters, like at Voronezh in the USSR? I feel like there's simultaneously plenty of paranormal incidences/encounters from non-english-speaking countries that barely get discussed in english-speaking circles, and also some paranormal encounters that get blown way out of proportion by western UFOlogists and others to claim more international bonafides lol, honestly including the humanoids at Voronezh now that I mention it. A long time ago I translated some article snippets on UFO sightings in Yugoslavia. Nothing substantial but the presence of the phenomenon is interesting.

About a month later, at the end of January 1968, the same media again broadcast events from Rijeka. This time, Ante Glavina, an official in the administration of the Municipal Assembly, came forward claiming that he saw an unknown object. "I was on the terrace of the building with my wife and suddenly noticed a bright moon-shaped object at an indefinite height, but much larger. An unknown body spun in a spiral and thus moved northeast across the Sušak hospital building," Glavina told Vjesnik. It is especially interesting to mention Vjesnik's almost incidental comment from the same article: "We received similar information from some other citizens." Even more interesting is the writing of Vjesnik from the autumn of 1971, when they got access to an authentic conversation between the Regional Aircraft Control Center of Zagreb Airport and JAT's Convair 440 on the flight between Pula and Zagreb. At that time, sightings of an unknown body over Kvarner were frequent, and after a "military person" from Pula reported seeing a rhomboid body somewhere above Lošinj, the flight control contacted the plane to ask if they saw anything in the sky. Flight Control: What is the visibility in your field of vision? Plane: Very good.
