reading: My favourite books are Battle Royale (by Koushun Takami) and Nineteen Eighty-Four (by George Orwell). My preferred genre is horror and sci fi. Specifically when it comes to books, I also really like fantasy, much more than I do in films and such. I haven’t had much time to read but I’ve been slowly going through Interview With a Vampire (by Anne Rice). Primitive War (by Ethan Pettus) is another underrated favourite of mine, about a group of soldiers finding a forest of dinosaurs during the Vietnam war.

last  series: I actually rewatched The Dragon Prince yesterday with my little cousin. He ended up liking it so much we binged the first season in one day. I really love the show in how it handles complex issues and portrays morally grey situations and characters. I cannot wait for season 4 (it’s out November).

last  movie: Guardians of the Galaxy, I stopped partway through. I watched it as a young teen close to when it came out, but upon rewatch it wasn’t as good as I remembered. I generally despise marvel movies with a passion, though I find GotG to be tolerable. Before that, a film I finished was actually Misery. It was also a rewatch, and I love it.

sweet/spicy/savory:  All three. I love sweet, DUH, I love spicy, and I love savoury (FRENCH FRIES). It completely depends on my mood to determine which one I like the most (it changes), but right now, I say savoury. Because french fries. I want. 

currently  working  on: MY NOVEL! It’s called Liberation and I’ve mentioned it here a couple of times; it’s a science fiction story that’s very, very complicated, but its entire point is to act as a critisicm of the exploitation of non-human animals by our species. It’s taking me a very long time to write it because of my uni work, and it’s generally a difficult story to write, but I’m hoping to publish it eventually. My biggest fear is that it’ll be too long (the plan is over 50 chapters... I’m on chapter 6 and it’s almost at 35K words...), in which case, I’d try to publish a few books beforehand because it’s generally very difficult to publish a SUPER long book if you’ve never published before (not that I won’t try...). But, we’ll see. Progress right now is a bit slow, but I’ll speed up soon as I’m getting back into the flow.

Khun told Baam that he has collected and threw away all the rings that Yu Hansung gave to their friends. So his friends do not have the rings with them right now (only Khun knows where they are).

XiaXia hated Ran the moment she saw him. She is good with spicy food.

Hwaryun wants to train Bam to become strong. It seems that she has said that Bam needs a different type of training to learn to control the Thorn. She thinks that asking for Urek's aid would be a nice idea if necessary.

Yihwa has gained confidence in manipulating her flames.

Yihwa still thinks that Rak is a dinosaur.

Miseng asserts that she is older than Prince. But Prince refuses to tell her his age.

Khun has decided that the other ability of the White Heavenly Mirror is extremely 'dangerous', so he decided not to use it.

Why did Bam get a haircut? I wanted him to be back to his bright self in future Rachel-Bam situations. If too many people dislike it I could simply put a wig on him.

Who is a heroine? There have been disputes over it. It will be decided when I get one. Joking. Calm down.

How did Khun get Ran into his team? They knew each other in the family, Khun went and got Ran when he heard they were in the same floor. Ran is helping him because of their past. This will be revealed more in the Khun Family arc later.

Is Maria going to show up? Secret. But she will eventually show up soon enough.

Can we get character profiles? One day... I will post them.

Where did Khun’s Manbarondenna go? Narae is taking good care of it when Khun left it with Isu’s team. She is still with Hong btw.

About the return date, I am thinking of July 21st. But it could be postponed until August 4th. About the wrist, I think I will have to carry this pain with me now. I could go indefinite rest until it goes away, but it will be bad for everyone. Still, I am lucky author, being able to go on.

Next arc will begin after a couple of chapters that is wrapping up the Epilogue we had. Unlike Workshop which is a long arc, it will be a ‘trilogy’ of arcs focusing on the Train and the Hidden floor. Also there is a Idol of Tower arc ready. And the unfairness of the Tower will be told. Meanwhile the ugly secrets of the Great Families will be revealed. Some personal stories, mainly Khun and Rachel will be there too. I hope you all enjoy what new things I attempt to do.

7. I’ve just come back to Korea after studying in Russia for 6 years. I learned that Russian people all enjoy rock music (I often saw grandmothers with Nickelback songs for their ringtone and grandfathers with AC/DC for their ringtones. Seriously…!). Do you have any plans to advance into Russia?  Jongwan: Spasiba Jaekyung: We went with Seo Taiji to perform in Vladivostok in 2004, and I could feel how the country loves rock music. How much they like alcohol and how cold it is also suits Nell well k I’d like to try it if we get a chance.  Junghoon: Any place where people listen to our music and we can perform would be good, of course. Russia go go.

8. Is there a Korean musician who you want to be like or respect? Also, is there a person who you look at and think ‘let’s not become like them’? For the last question I’m more curious about whether you have someone like that or not, not who it is.  Jongwan: I respect Lee Seunghwan-nim / Way too many Junghoon: I respect all musicians who go forward playing their own music, whether they are seniors or juniors. As for the last question, we definitely do.

9. Do you have any plans on doing this (Q&A) regularly? Aren’t you curious about the fans’ thoughts? Jongwan: We have ‘plans’.  Jaekyung: I think it’d be fun to do this in some shape or form every once in a while!

I’m curious about your individual ways of overcoming painful experiences (alcohol and cigarettes, that’s no no, minus those two!)  Jongwan: The thought that I would still have a hard time even if this didn’t happen. Jaekyung: If I can solve it then I do, and if I can’t then I do as much as I can, accept it and let time heal. Junghoon: I just keep thinking about it. Immerse myself in it. Then it will slowly start to get better.

22. If you only had one day left to live, how would you spend it? Jongwan: First I’d say goodbye to my family, then spend 8 hours in the studio before putting on a concert and finishing off with an afterparty with people I love.  Jaekyung: I don’t know if there’s anything specific I’d want to do -- I think I’d listen to the songs we were unable to finish and then say my goodbyes.  Junghoon: I’d be with my family. Jaewon: I’d watch the sunset by the ocean.

23. How come Junghoon has never once shown us a bass solo? And as you always use a pick instead of fingering (of course using a pick will sound better on some songs but), is there a reason for that?  Junghoon: I will work hard.

Jaekyung: I’ve seen too many, but the ones that come to mind now are Black Sabbath in Korea, 1995 / Steve Vai in Korea, 1997 / Metallica in Korea, 1998 / Roger Waters in Korea, 2002 / Marilyn Manson in Korea, 2003 / Nine Inch Nails in Korea, 2007 / Björk in New York, 2012 / Paul McCartney in Korea, 2015 / Among those, Roger Waters’ (Pink Floyd) concert was the most memorable to me. / As for Nell, it’ll be this year’s December concert. ^^  Junghoon: That’s a difficult question. Off the top of my head, The Verve live in Japan. Their charisma was astounding.

37. Do you have any thoughts of letting us know the lyrics in the backmasked parts of your songs? Jongwan: No. Junghoon: I don’t think so.

38. Can you reveal the playlists you’ve been listening to recently? Jongwan: Currently listening to this year’s Christmas concert setlist. Jaewon: Elbow, Death Cab for Cutie.

41. Junghoon oppa, at some point you started recording the fans with your camcorder -- do you…watch those back..?? Also, you’re taking a lot of pictures with your film camera recently. Have you been influenced by Simz oppa to do that, or is there another reason? Please reveal a few cuts that you’re pleased with! Junghoon: I’ve seen all of them at least once. I edited some (of the videos) and posted them on social media. I was taking pictures with a digital camera using a filter to make the pictures look like they were taken with a film camera, and so I thought ‘if this is how it’ll turn out, I should buy an actual film camera’, so I did. I don’t know anything about photography so I’m just taking pictures with my P&S.

42. Please tell us a song you’re disappointed with from each album, or a song you don’t like, and the reason for your choices, please. Or an album you’re displeased with. Jongwan: Walk Through Me. I think we could give each song a more fitting sound if we were to record that album now.  Junghoon: ‘Reflection of’, ‘Speechless’. At the end of the day, it’s a pity how they turned out. If we had been a bit more skilled at recording and writing, I think they could have turned into a little bit, or a lot better albums.

43. If you were to be reincarnated, what would you like to be born as? Jongwan: A dolphin living in a place no human has ever touched. Junghoon: Wonbin.

44. What do you think when you see your increasing amount of male fans? I’m a fanboy too, haha!  Jongwan: It feels good. Jaekyung: It’s good to see. The sceaming (of the crowd) became thicker! I understand now!!  Junghoon: It’s great.

45. When do you recruit workers for Space Bohemian? (My ultimate goal is to become an employee there… just wait…)  Jongwan: 11AM~8PM

46. Do you use Logic (music editing software) or Pro Tools more? If you use both, which is better?  Jongwan: We don’t use Logic, we use Cubase and Pro Tools. We use Cubase up until the recording, then change to Pro Tools for the final phase.

47. Junghoon-nim, please let us know what brand of sunglasses you wear!  Junghoon: I wear several different ones, but my favorite is Karl Lagerfeldt.

48. I’m curious as to what you’re thinking about! Jongwan: It changes a lot. Jaekyung: I think most of what’s in my head goes into our albums!  Junghoon: All kinds of tremendous desires.

Fun facts about Poland

Peeps at Tumblr like to share weird stuff about their countries, but it’s mostly the English-speaking ones. I’m here to remedy this problem with some facts non-Polish people might not know.

Most countries have ramen (not the original fresh Japanese one, I mean the dry one in a packet). And what flavours are they? Chicken, spicy chicken, sometimes shrimp. Not so in Poland. We have “Nudle” by Knorr. Tastes include: 4 different types of chicken (including, i shit you not, quote “amerikan cziken”), 3 different types of cheese, tomato soup, spicy tomato soup, fancy tomato soup with basil, (we Poles fucking love tomato soup) mushroom soup, kebab, gulasz, curry, who knows what else.

The summer weather comes in three flavours: “sunburn for everyone”, “too cold and windy to function, let alone swim” and “furious lighting storm, possibly with a tornado as a friend, levels a few towns and lays the forest down like a fucking wheat field”. The winter is either “winter of the century, you will actually die if you stay out for too long at night”, “where the fuck is snow, what is this grey shit everywhere” and sometimes “it’s hail time motherfuckers”. Moderate climate, folks.

In our meme language, lolcat is “koteł”. Doge is “pieseł”. We love our -eł ending. 

There is a woman here in Poland that, worried about the negative influence Harry Potter has on youth, wrote her own novel: “Anhar. Antimagical novel.” Our MC, Anhar (standing for “anti-Harry” lmao) is a prince of some typical fantasy land. He’s expected to travel to the gates of Satan Gedes to study magic. There is also his teacher, who is no longer a wizard. They travel and our riveting plot consists of the teacher explaining to the guy for many pages  that magic is bad, mmkay? There were two sequels to this, each detailing the fates of Anhar’s descedants, who also learn how to say no to drugs the occult.

We have more dinoparks per square kilometer than any other European country. What is a dinopark? it’s basically an area in a forest filled with large plastic dinosaurs. There is usually a cinema with 5D effects there too. Is Poland notorious for paleontology? Not really, we just like dinosaurs.

We eat pizza with ketchup. Deal with it.

Our traditional food is greasy as fuck, has lots of meat and cabbage. It was supposed to be something you can easily make, that can give your warmth in our lovely weather and energy for fighting Germans/Russians.

We have name days. People’s names are associated with various days of the year. We give people presents and sometimes invite family to celebrate the name day.

Runs at a height greater than 132 feet and falls at the same speed. This motion gives riders a sense of ambiguity about each other's share of the ride

This machine rotates and rises at an angle of 70 degrees and the height reaches up to 142 feet • I for India : 'I for India' is a 90-foot-wide indoor ride on the screen. This tour is 6182 miles, in which 59 monuments have been covered. • Mr. India : Mr. India is a Bollywood rides based on 1987 film " Mr. India, which is starring Anil Kapoor, rides in other parks like Rip Machine, D2, Nitro, Salimgarh, Alibaaba and Rajosaur. Powered by a narrow air powered by a naval system.

• Rajasaurus River Adventure : This yatra starts with a large navy in the dinosaur's voice-guided yacht, which is in style with pre-historical elements. • Salimgarh : A slow-paced door is searched by the visitors by rides, so they experience the story of simulated city Salimgarh by the use of horror scenes and horror sound effects. • The Detective Bow Wow Show : This is a live interactive comedy show. • Alibaba aur Chalis Chorr : This ride is designed to give visitors the desire to stay within the video game. Riding theme is inspired by the classic story- Alibaba and 40 thieves.

• Wrath of the Gods : It is an indoor attraction that mixes live mechanical theatrics, special effects and multimedia. • Prince of the Dark Waters – Cinema 360 : This is the experience of the movie which is shown on the 360 ° dome spread across 3100 square feet. • Motion Box Theatre : Motion Box Theatre is a 4D cinema experience • Mambo Chai Chama : Mamu Chai Chama, meaning 'Crazy Tea Party', is a classic T-Cup ride • Splash Ahoy : It is pirate themed ride for the kids comprises many boats and it all are fit with a water gun. • Bump It Boats : This is water based Bumping Cars. • Save the Pirate : This is a kids’ ride, theme of pirates based.

Once you come in, you give all the winter items like jackets, hand gloves and ice shoes for free.

Top attractions at the Snow Park: • Real Snowfall: This Park has an artificial snow drilling machine that starts after 10 minutes when people enter the park. This gives a real experience of snow on the ice floor and people can play with it. • Snow Basketball: This is another attraction which people can play there. Many balls are provided for playing. • Snow Slides: There are two different slides in the park, which are based on a round tube, on which you are on the site and you will be on the board. Second is floater based. You have to come back to float and then you'll be sliding down
