Pleasantview Reimagined: Brandi Broke

These Family sims continue to surprise me... Brandi is a primary Popularity aspiration and secondary Romance based on @belladovah's calculator.

She is an Aquarius with a "true" hobby of Arts & Crafts. Since she has 0 interest in work, and maxed interest in fashion, I thought it made sense to have her sew clothes (honoring her hobby) and sell them to make money. Brandi doesn't seem like a gal who's cut out for a typical career. I set her lifetime want as "Have 20 Simultaneous Best Friends" because she strikes me as a wannabe "it" girl (with being so close to becoming friends with the Caliente sisters at the start of the game) and this is actually achievable with her meeting so many people via her boutique business.

I always have Brandi have lots of babies and settle down so this really shakes things up for me!

My new description of her: "Brandi has given a lot to raise her children, and now wants to give herself a new life. She may not have a lot of money, or any desire to go into a career for that matter... but she does have a lot of passion - a passion for FASHION. She enjoys sewing, so why couldn't she start her own boutique with her own clothes? It's time to enjoy the finer things in life - a whole lot of friends, and maybe a whole lot of lovers too..."

The funniest thing with shipping sims premades is that all of them are canon. You can go inside your game, and make your ship canon. It's very possible and easy.

the sims 2 is such a weird game to be fixated on. how do I explain to my friends that the things that've been occupying my mind daily are a bunch of low poly characters all named some stupid shit like Gas O'Line or Impregnator Alien 300 from a game that's almost old enough to drink

Pleasantview Reimagined: Nina Caliente

See my previous post for more info on this.

I have to know: has Nina been a good mom in your game? She's always been a great mom in mine, and rolls wants related to her kids despite her having a Romance aspiration. Well, now that might just make sense with how her aspiration played out in @belladovah’s interest/personality calculator! She rolled “Family” as her Primary Aspiration.

Her Secondary Aspiration is Knowledge… I always knew she was the smarter twin 🤪 Her true Zodiac is Virgo (she is very neat, serious and shy!). Her One True Hobby is Sports like her partner in crime, Don. She has very high interests in Sci-Fi and Travel - as she is also a knowledge sim, it made sense to me to have her in the Adventurer career track with a LTW of “Become A Space Pirate”. She may have no interest in Work, but I’d imagine with a job as exciting as adventuring while being able to pursue her passions, it won't feel quite like “work” to her!

Other Lifetime Wants (only ones associated with Family or Knowledge) that would make sense for her:

Reach Golden Anniversary (an ode to her Romance past)

Graduate 3 kids from college (both family and knowledge aspects)

Raise 20 puppies or kittens (she has maxed interest in animals)

My new description of Nina:

“With her parents passing away early in her life and never being able to develop a strong bond with her sister, Nina has always felt a lack of love. In the pursuit of feeling loved, she has done questionable things and lived in her twin’s shadow in order to get in her good graces. Life beyond the stars has always intrigued Nina - maybe because of her stifled passions in travelling and science fiction, or maybe because she longs to reconnect with her long-lost family. Either way, Nina knows its time to move on from her toxic sister and find the genuine love she deserves.”
