Just finished the Final Project today =)

I end up with a different concept. I came up with this idea just couple days ago.

The old traditional aquarell painting as the basic of my Idea. There is no other kind of painting technics that feels so traditional and connects the vibe of art with the product. 

Today was the last class :(

Thank you Nancy for been such a good and helpful professor for the last 4 months. It was an amazing class! Thank you guys for everything. 

This is my last month here in Canada before I have to go back to Germany. 

I really enjoyed the time here. It was one of the best times of my life to far.

Today is a studio class. 

We are working on our package series. For my Jam glass I decide to make it very classy and minimalistic. Less is more. Bonne Maman is a high class brand and should be presented like a high class product.

hey folks it starts again =) 

Today we had a cool visit and talked about our ideas for the new project. It was very helpful for me to hear from professionals what they would do on our site.

Project 2 “Bonne Maman” Jams

For my second project, I decided to buy a marmalade glass and would like to present it a little differently than is usual with mamaraden glasses and try to attract attention with an unconventional packaging and to inspire the customers.

We took a field trip to Coombs Market. That is an old traditional place. For this field trip we look at product series from different product packages. It was amazing and very helpful for the next project.

My focus was to find something repetitive e.g. Logo, typography, images or something like that. In my opinion the good designs are using strong patterns and the „bad“ designs are not. The easierst way to show a different product under one series is to change the color and the name of the flavor.

Its one week later and  I finally finished my 3D Prototype of the eco friendly Redesign Project. We took some picture of the redesign today and I think it looks good. I had a lot of problems with printing and produce before I could finish the prototype but at the end I think it looks nice.

Todays feedback went really well. I got new ideas about designing my package design and how it could actually look like. They really liked it and that I maybe think about a window in the package design , so that the consumer really sees the inside. So it helped me a lot and I will think about solving this problems over the week.

Next week is running !

I found a solution for my redesign project, it is a reusable candy box for dog snacks. Today we had some guests in class, we talked about our projects :D      It was really funny and it helped a lot.

heyy guys, today we brainstormed different ways how to create an eco friendly package. For my project i chose a dog food package which had way to much plastic :DDD Ohm yes, today i took also some product pictures and now Im thinking what is the best solution to redesign the packaging so that becomes eco friendly :D
