It's kinda fucked that we now go through a store page every time we want to play a game. Like, analog days, if I wanted to play a PC game I turned it on and I was playing the game. At no point was I directed through a series of advertisements to access the content. I was not given a catalog to leaf through casually. There may have been some advertising in the box for other products from the company or distributor, like send-away forms in old paperbacks, but that was it. Some fliers I had to go look at on purpose.

In contrast, *the store is now the default opening page*.

That's some shit to get away with, you know? Disney should have the leg up on that maneuver, they get people they just shot full of Space Mountain adrenaline taking euphoric financial risks, but Steam has it beat. It just shows us things, shows us that some of them are on sale, and tells us that we'd like them, and we backlog ourselves in cold blood.

What would change if we simply had a game store that defaulted to your library,

That having been said I used to watch the 70s animated Lorax at least twice a week and revisiting it as an adult deepens rather than cheapens the experience so Universal can suck a fuck they misused these rights on every Seuss book they bastardized and they know it

I am gonna fess up and say I am on some real good weed and thought "Wait, does the act of cooking [hobby] desensitize allergies? Tomatoes were the first thing I grew from my own seed packet. I found it under a cushion in the greenhouse (Mom adored gardening, Dad built her a greenhouse, it was beautiful), and god knows how long it had been there, but by God, I planted and I grew. That's when I learned that miraculously, in a hobby considered to be an attainable skill of specialists, even a preschooler can make plants grow.

But I wanted improvement. The tomato but better.

My dude did I just see you do tags as to the idea that cooking helps ORAS?? Because I have some allergen stuff going on and I am interested in getting into cooking, I am FASCINATED

It depends strongly on the specific allergen (not every problem protein is broken down by cooking temps/edible acid levels), but yes! Tomatoes are one where the allergen may break down in heat—I can eat ketchup and other tomato-based sauces just fine (though I am not a fan of cooked tomato as a primary flavor, it's at least edible), but raw tomatoes make my mouth feel like it's full of angry bees. Which, like, cherry tomatoes used to be one of my favorite snacks so you can imagine how I feel about this.

Definitely always do a small-scale test first before committing, but if you can't eat something raw you could very well be able to eat it cooked.
