More Destiny 2 art! I want to make a little series of landscape studies from screen shots around the Destiny universe so started this up again with one from The Pale Heart last night!

Got into Dual Destiny from patrol and took a bunch of pictures and a couple of videos of it. Really great to be able to wander around without the timer because it is *stunning*. The lighting especially is incredible in there and I've tried to capture it as much as I can but there's a limited amount I can do with screenshots. And because of the nature of the area it is not always very easy to get good screenshots without my Guardian in-frame. Couldn't get further than this because yeesh that room really does not want you anywhere except the islands and there's no man-cannons to shoot you around. That will be a job for when I get Navigator+Catalyst (if I ever do). Did this on Titan with grapple, Lion Rampant, and Falling Guillotine with eager edge. The flight there took a few tries because you have to fall enough to find the funnel without falling too much or you just die. As usual, feel free to use these for art references/backgrounds/cool stuff. I hope they're useful! Will be adding a link to the full set of pictures in reblog and in the comments!

“OK, first step of every successful mission is a codename.  I’m thinking, 'Operation Finger Guns.' Think about it.  We could do this!  And we know what we’re talking about.” Cayde then finger-gunned at Seighdra and Crow, a playful grin on his face.  

“Oh, my word.  You are too much, Cayde.”  Seighdra shook her head and giggled.  “What is it with you two and the finger guns?  Is it a Hunter thing?” 

“I’m not hearing any bright ideas coming outta you.”

"Well, I'm... um... trying to investigate stuff, ya know," Seighdra said, glancing around and spotting a group of enemies.

"These enemies are glowing with Dark Ether.  Find them and clear out as many as we can," Crow instructed as Seighdra began clearing the area.

“Good call; let’s keep looking.”  Cayde said as Seighdra followed him and Crow.

"Screeb incoming!" Seighdra yelled as she jumped, landing and instinctively swinging her sword at the creature.  It exploded, killing her instantly.  Crow and Cayde stood close by, ready to let Raven revive his Guardian.

"You need to be careful, Seighdra," Raven scolded her.  Seighdra looked at him blankly for a moment, finding his behavior odd.  Shaking it off, she stood up, ready to continue.

“You’re not supposed to hit them with a sword, dummy.”  Cayde laughed.

“Gee, tell me something I don’t know, jerk.”  Seighdra bantered back with Cayde as she stared at him.

“Same ‘ol Seighdra.”  Cayde smirked, giving her a friendly pat on the back.

“Same ‘ol Cayde,” she responded with a hint of irritation, though she couldn’t hold back a laugh of her own.

Final Bug Fact:

The world NEEDS bugs. They keep the soil healthy, pollinate, control pests, and contribute to the worlds' ecosystem. By the end of the century, it is estimated 40% of insect species may go extinct due to habitat loss. Yes, that is very scary. But with even one beetle spared, one caterpillar rescued, and one Hollow Knight comic of all things, things will change. Because I know there's a lot more Dewi's out there than most people realize. Stay curious.

Comic Thoughts and Pictures Below!

I wanted to put here how amazing and sweet everyone has been with this comic. I finished a 75 page comic in 3 MONTHS. I am at a loss for words. That sounds crazy and it IS crazy. But man was it fun. Even on days were I wasn't able to draw due to fatigue or business, I loved working on it from start to finish. And guess what!? This is my first ever FINISHED comic :D I'm so proud of myself. I know there's some things I want to change and the art is wonky in most places...... but I'm content to let it be. What an amazing summer adventure!

I'm hoping to post the full comic on another Comic website. I may or may not edit some of the art ^w^ So I'll let y'all know when I release it.

Interested in learning what you could do to help your local insects? This is the basic stuff. Maybe make some Insect Hotels if you have the time!!! And never forget to spread the word about bugs. They need our help just as any animal on earth.
