Amin al-Husseini docu: part 7
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5 | Part 6 | Part 7 | Part 8 | Last
Translator's notes:
-> Auschwitz as a camp was huge, bigger than most cities. It was built in parts. The initial, concentration camp was built close to (and was named after) the Polish town of Oświęcim, called in German Auschwitz. It was later expanded, too. The extermination camp, centered around the gas chambers, was built in 1942, and by that point, the entire camp's area was so big, that this part was closer to (and named after) the Polish town of Brzezinka, called in German Birkenau. The concentration camp part was nicknamed Auschwitz I, the extermination camp part was Auschwitz II, Auschwitz-Birkenau, or just Birkenau. There was also an area known as Auschwitz III, where the factories using (mostly Jewish) slaves were.
-> The Sonderkommando were Jews who had been forced by the Nazis to operate the gas chambers. They were often selected based on being less able to communicate the horrors they'd seen to other Jewish slaves in the camp, for example many of the Sonderkommando were Greek Jews (while most European Jews were Ashkenazim, who shared the common Jewish language of Yiddish, the majority of Greek Jews were Sephardim, and spoke the Jewish language of Ladino. Thus, communication between the two groups was harder). Even when the Sonderkommando were physically capable of going on with their work, the Nazis would routinely exterminate them, to wipe out the witnesses of this industrialized genocide. My wonderful colleague, who you see interviewed in this docu, Professor Gideon Greif, in addition to writing one of the most comprehensive books about Auschwitz, also recorded the testimonies of the last surviving Sonderkommando, and published them in an emotionally difficult to read, but really important book, titled We Wept Without Tears. The photograph of Shaul Chazan, one of the last sonderkommando, is from a 1993 trip to Auschwitz, where Prof. Greif recorded a few of the testimonies, as they were being given in the place they were about. This docu has now been translated into English. The book was also the basis for the Oscar-winning film, Son of Saul.
-> The Capo was a camp slave, who was appointed by the Nazis to "supervise" a group of other camp slaves. In Nazi camps where regular criminals were incarcerated together with non-criminal groups, such as Jews, the Capos were often the former, because a part of the idea behind using the Capos was to implement a "divide and rule" system, meaning the less empathy the Capo had for those under his "supervision," the better. Some Capos did what the Nazis told them to out of fear, some enjoyed their new status and were abusive to their fellow camp slaves, and some Capos tried to use the position in order to help, even save, other slaves. I'm detailing this, because there's a misconception that all Capos were traitors.
-> Dieter Wisliceny was directly responsible for the murder of over 106,000 Jews from Slovakia and Greece alone (and he helped Eichmann with the extermination of over 500,000 Hungarian Jews, too). He was arrested by the Americans and NOT put on trial at Nuremberg. Wisliceny was eventually brought to justice by Czechoslovakia, which demanded his extradition.
-> I hope it's okay to add something personal, because the docu briefly shows a translation of a letter written by the Mufti to the Romanian Foreign Minister. My great uncle is Jewish Romanian author and Holocaust survivor, Norman Manea. He wrote about a part of what my family's been through because of the collaboration between the Nazis and the Romanians, as the Jews from eastern Romania were exiled to Transnistria by the hundreds of thousands to die there, in his memoir (which was translated into English), The Hooligan's Return. I have pictures of starved Jewish kids in Transnistria, their bodies look like skeletons everywhere, except their swollen bellies (a now known symptom of starvation). I don't bring these pictures to the museum, unless I have reason to believe I may have Holocaust deniers in the group, the pics are that terrible to me. Among the rescue attempts of Jews, the Mufti stopped a plan to save 80,000 Jews from Romania, and 5,000 Romanian Jewish kids exiled to Transnistria. I can't explain how I feel about that. He never paid for his crimes, they're not even recognized, but then the anti-Israel crowd screams that this is all about "the occupation," even though the State of Israel didn't even exist during WWII, when the Mufti sentenced to death a part of my people, a part of my community, and maybe even a part of my family.

I recently rewatched your Franky vid and was thinking about the critique that he doesn't really do as much post time skip and seeing how stir crazy he is undercover in wano, how immediately ape shit he goes after he realizes that his blueprint mission was a dead lead, and how buzzing with excitement he is at the prospect of a street brawl with the wano equivalent of Yakuza in front of sanji's soba cart regardless of consequences.
I think Franky never stopped being a feral hooligan he was just getting proper enrichment in his enclosure up until then and my guy is ready to lose his shit at any moment if he is not given an activity to prevent him from gnawing on someone's arm. He is emotionally mature yes, but he's also the second most impulsive person on the crew behind Luffy and I love him for that.
Franky has literally been the underground MVP of every arc he's been in, like HE'S the one that surpasses Caesar's gas with General Franky, HE took down the smile factory in Dressrosa. HE'S the one that both ran over Big Mum AND saved Zoro in Wano ??? Without Franky, Zoro would've been dead in the ground rn. Franky is TRULY the crew's big brother WHILE being the silly hooligan we love so much. He's a pirate, after all! <333

Could you summarize like each key and what happens because I joined doodle world back in like April 2022 and I can barely remember anything man
*Deep breath* You want a summary of all the events in each key? I got you, though you didn't exactly clarify if it's super specific so I'm just giving you the general broad strokes. Graphite Arc/Thunderstorm Key. Player gets doodle, meets Quincy, skip until Route 2. Player meets TJ then he shows them around. Route 2 has a bunch of debris in the way of Route 3. Engineer gets rizzed up by Riffraff. TJ shows up, Player explains what happend, they go to fetch the Engineer. Stuff happens, Player and Riffraff play games for like 2 hours. Riffraff leaves, Teneson shows up, helps TJ and Player by destroying some debris. Player gets jumped by Portia (unsuccessful) Then they arrive in Graphite Lodge. Cassidy quickly drags them to the side. Player goes to Help Center to help Alice. Player kicks some hooligans' asses before meeting back up with Cassidy. Cassidy says they need to stop Craig from catching a crystal dinosaur, they rush to the caverns. After Player beats the shit out of Craig, Maelzuri turns him into an egg. Then they get through to the forest, meets up with Portia and TJ, get past the door. Solve a maze and fights TJ at the end. Wins and gets through. They fight Quincy and then Nimbus then obtains the key. Zavier shows up, blasts the temple and Quincy's jet. Then Portia /tp everyone away from there. Von Sweets Arc/Sweets Key Player arrives, meets with Quincy, encounters a homeless guy. They meet Suzie. Suzie introduces Quincy to TJ. TJ makes Player go fight an employee to steal his clothes to get into the factory. Player goes to Chef's Valley after being told to. Quincy gets harassed by wild pizza. Player beats the shit out of a panda. They go back, they get in the factory. Player beats the answers out of the employees until von Sweets shows up. Player beats him up too. Zavier shows up but then gets put into timeout by Riffraff. Then we cheer up Suzie, then we fight Quincy (we win) and cut to Zavier and Riffraff talking. To be continued... (Tumblr won't allow me to send it in full)

Hungarian Hooligan
The 23rd match day
Viktor had been living in Debrecen for almost a week now. He had been unable to turn down the offer of a job as a department manager at his employer's Hungarian engine factory. He had been employed as a graduate engineer for almost ten years now, so this was finally a chance to advance his career. And Hungary wasn't wrong. When he got homesick, it wasn't far to his Bavarian home. And the city made a nice impression, too. His first weekend away was coming up, the weather was too cold and damp for the time of year, so after a short walk Viktor took shelter in a corner pub. The pub was packed. People in soccer shirts, with fan scarves and caps. He had obviously stumbled into the pub of a fan club of the local soccer team. Soccer… well, interested him only a little. In his hometown, he had occasionally joined in the celebrations when Bayern Munich had once again become German champions. But otherwise he cared less about sports. Neither actively, nor passively… But here it carried away him somehow. The waiter had put a beer in front of him without being asked, and one of the guests toasted him. And between cheers and groans a conversation developed. Somewhat sluggishly in English. But towards the end of the second half, Viktor was able to slip in a few words of Hungarian. It had been a very exciting game. Debreceni VSC had won 0:1 away. Viktor was cheering with the other guests. Someone had put a fan scarf on him. And the host gave a local round.
The 24th match day
Viktor had been looking forward to Saturday all week. Since moving to Debrecen a year ago, he had attended almost every home game at the stadium. His employer had a number of business seats in the stadium. And the winner of the internal betting round always got a seat for the next home game. Viktor may not have been the greatest expert. But when he stopped at his favorite pub for a beer in the evening after his jog, he always read the sports paper carefully. And it often helped him snag one of the coveted tickets. His buddies, with whom he watched the away games in the pub, usually turned up their noses because there were only snobs sitting in the business seats. But Viktor enjoyed the atmosphere and the closeness to his superiors. This could only be supportive for his career.
The game today was a disaster. 1:2 lost against the current second in the table. The score was still 0:0 at halftime. Viktor could hardly stand the cheering of the fans of the opposing team. The only thing that helped was drinking in frustration after the final whistle.
The 25th matchday
Today Viktor didn't get any tickets for the Sunday home game. Of course, he had also tried to get tickets on the black market, but he had had no luck. So he had to watch the game in his pub. After all, it went great against Vasas, the last team in the table. 3:1! This meant that his club climbed to fourth place. In the jubilation, Viktor got a beer shower. His jersey was soaking wet. But he was happy!
The 26th match day
The away game was in Mezokovesd not far from his home. Normally, Viktor would have carpooled with a few pals from his gym. But going by train with the other fans was much more fun. They tuned into the game with loud heavy metal from Symmetry Of The Void. The police separated them from the local fans already at the station. The mood was testy, Mezőkövesd-Zsóry SE was definitely on the heels of its club. A victory was important. And even though it didn't look like it for a long time, Meldin Drešković scored the redeeming goal shortly after the start of the second half. The fan block cheered. Chants of abuse began from the opposite side. Viktor, for his part, joined the chorus of his club. The first bengalos were set off. The mood threatened to tip over. And Viktor and his lads were looking forward to a proper brawl.
The 27th matchday
Home matchday. The fifth in the table meets the fourth in the table. Viktor had finished work early that Friday. Before the game he had worked out for an hour on the punching bag. He wanted to be in shape for the game. He had fought hard for his place in the Ultras' fan block and naturally wanted to keep it. He had been in the city for four years now and was an ardent admirer of his club. Right after graduation, he had been given the chance to move to Debrecen. He had never regretted it. He fevered with his club. He fought for the honor of his club after the games. And for that he kept himself fit with boxing training. Viktor laced up his boots tightly and tucked his gloves into the back pocket of his jeans. Whatever happened today, he was prepared.
It wasn't until the fourth minute of stoppage time that the opponent's goal came. Viktor was beside himself. The police tried their best to prevent an escalation. But it was a matter of honor not to let the opposing fan block go home unscathed.
The 28th match day
His friends had long called Viktor only Gyözö. The Hungarian variant of his name. And indeed, Viktor also felt rather Hungarian. Here he had graduated, here he had his circle of friends. He and his pals had already taken the fan bus to Zalaegerszeg on Friday afternoon. And they had partied the weekend away. There had already been one or two brawls. And it became apparent that it would also go off today properly. After the first goal for his team in the first half, Gyözö had made every effort to heat up the atmosphere. And after the 0:2 lead in the second half, he had an easy time stirring up the hatred of the opposing fan block. While still on his way out, he put in his mouth guard and put on his gloves.
Tumblr media
The 29th match day
Finally, summer arrived. Géza loved to fire up the Ultra fan block with his bare upper body. He wore his tattoos with great pride. If they won today, they could finish third in the league. But Géza didn't really care. His name meant winner. And that was what he wanted to be today. Gladly in the stadium. But more importantly on the street in the fight against the cursed fans from Székesfehérvár.
@hottfguys, hope you like it!

I got jump scared by emm being flirty as an amswer and am now slightly flustered, but of course she's my favourite, she and Casamir just shot up in my favourites after I read their story, emm just beat it out becouse buff biker women is slightly... my heart starts to Pan-ic ya kno?
a/n: honestly, emm is peak buff biker bitch and i absolutely love her... and im so glad you love her too!! neway, just wanted to write abt emm being best buff biker bitch lol
Tumblr media
emm fiala ★ profile
You were excited. Emm had finally agreed to letting you go with her during her rounds around the factory. Usually, she insisted that it was much too dangerous, that there could be some sort of hooligan that could come and hurt you, but Casimir helped you wear her down.
In more ways than one.
Now you stood outside, waiting for her. You wore an outfit that kept you a tad warm; Emm told you that the breeze when you rode a motorcycle could get a bit too cold at times and you didn't want to give her any reasons to change her mind about you coming with.
Just as you started wondering where Emm was, she stepped out of the house and your heart stopped.
She wasn't wearing her usual leather jacket. In fact, it was hanging off of her arm, folded neatly and ready to be put on. Instead, what she was wearing a halter top with fishnet that showed off her cleavage. It was sleeveless so her buff arms were on full display.
You especially enjoyed the way she put her hands on her hips, making her biceps flex just a little bit.
And her leather pants? Practically painted on. They looked tight against her thick muscly thighs. The same thighs that could probably smash a watermelon way too easily if she wanted to.
Watermelons and... other things, anyway.
"Y'ready to go?" She smiled at you softly and your heart started back up, beating a hard staccato flutter.
"Uhm! Uhm! Yeah!" You stuttered out, hating the way your face grew flustered just from the sight of her.
Emm started walking towards you and, in your panic, you grew nervous and took a couple of steps back. Immediately, your ass backed right up into the motorcycle behind you.
Still, Emm continued advancing and you grew too flustered to even look at her.
You couldn't tell what her expression was since you were pointedly staring at the ground but you definitely noticed how close she got to you and how she was suddenly caging you against the motorcycle.
You tried not to look at the way her tight top hugged her torso, the way it pushed up her boobs--
You sputtered a little, unsure of what to do as she leaned down, her hot breath tickling your ear and your neck.
"What're you so nervous for, darl'?"
Then, the motorcycle roared to life behind you. You glanced up and quickly realised that she wasn't trying to do anything other than start the motorcycle.
You quickly stepped to the side, way more embarrassed than before now that you realised that you were just being silly.
Emm seemed to notice and laughed, all tinkling and soft, before grabbing your wrist and pulling you close.
She cupped your cheek and pressed a firm kiss against your temple, her other arm wrapping around your torso and pressing you flush against her "Oh, darl', you're too cute."

Sunny I hate to make the inbox blow up like a shaving cream factory but I had the cutest little thoughts for Baby Mears and I need to scream (lol).
Alot of Baby Matthew's toys were hand-me-downs from some of the people in your household, but you could tell they had been shown alot of love over the years. Two of them had been Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls that Ben had found in the sandbox at the park and took home, cleaned off and had been given a little TLC. Nolly Gardiner had called his father down in Boston and he gave Baby Matthew his little teddy bear in his police uniform (Nolly's dad was a Boston PD officer for 40 something years). Father Callahan was a little embarrassed when Mrs. Curless found the little elephant stuffie he had as a small child and Parkins still had all his old school Tonka truck toys his sister sent down from Kittery.
Mabel had found all her little pull-rope animals that her grandmother had brought from Germany. Granted the wheels were a little bit squeaky, but other than that, they were perfect. Her favorite had been a little horse she had named "Misty".
Eva had found some old baseball things that had been hers when she was younger. She always used to go to Red Sox games with her father and she even had a little baseball cap she used to wear when she and her neighborhood hooligans used to go and play (whenever it was girls vs. boys she and her girlfriends used to pretend they were the Rockford Peaches, lol).
Mike Ryerson and his wife Lucy had a bet going. If it was a boy, Mike would give him his little Eeyore stuffie from when he was a baby, but if it was a girl, Lucy was gonna give her the china dolls that her great grandma had brought from Ireland. Mike won the bet and his dad sent him the box that had all his stuff in it. The stuffie was in perfect condition along with Mike's baby quilt, but it still smelled like his dad's Hai Karate and Old Spice (lol).
Corey found a bunch of his old blocks in his gram's attic, but Bonnie kind of cried when she found her older brother's box of GI Joes (Parkins grabbed them for her from the house after Reggie went to jail and the divorce papers went through for Bonnie). Her older brother had always let her play with them and kinda laughed when she married them to her Barbies growing up. Now that she was giving them to Baby Matthew, it had an extra special meaning.
Matt Burke had a bunch of "Classic Starts For Kids" since he was always a book nerd growing up. But if anything, he had a little Lowly Worm in an apple that fit perfectly on the dresser. His aunt had made it and gave it to him as a birthday present.
Dahling if you want me to keep going later on I gladly will (lol).
Baby Mears is so spoiled! In elementary school kids try to tease him about his hand me downs and how he doesn’t own anything knew but Matthew Mears isn’t easy to tear down. He was basically raised by a coven of monster hunters lol.
He doesn’t argue when people say things about his clothes or his toys, he just knows they were once loved and he’s loved enough to be given so many important things.

Screenshot from the “Any Road” music video.
Q: “You are a keen driver and own two cars close to being racing models, don’t you? They must give you a lot of pleasure.” George Harrison: “My McLaren F1 road car always gives me an awesome feeling when I am in it. Next favorite is my Rocket (for hooligans only). Respects to Gordon Murray (designer of both the McLaren F1 and the Rocket, and the BT46B, and now head of car design at McLaren International). Bit of a contrast to my first cars, a Ford Anglia and a Jaguar MkII.” - The Times F1 Handbook, March 2001 “[George] had such fun building the McLaren. When we did the McLaren F1, we decided, I decided that it would be the most personalized motorcar ever made. And if you wanted to customize the car, way beyond paint colors and stuff, if you wanted special bits and pieces, we encouraged people to come down [to the factory]. And George got that concept, and he got it big time. And he used to [laughs] — he almost lived there. We actually joked about getting him a bedroom in the factory, because he used to be down there every week. And I think, I think the car ended up with Ganesh — you know, the Indian little elephant thing — I think the car ended up with fourteen elephants in it. […] He really went for it on the customization. So that makes it a very special motorcar. And it was great fun doing it. In fact, the guys building the car so loved him coming round that they made him a special book with all the photographs of it, his car being built, and signed it, and they gave it to him at the end.” - Gordon Murray, Living In The Material World bonus features You can find detailed photos of McLaren in the book Living In The Material World (2011). So now Prophet AU: Bean (Team hooligan first, Sonic)
He’s mostly based on THIS
Tumblr media
In a Bumblekast, it is said that a VERY OLD concept for Bean was to be an experiment by the Battle Bird Armada. I decided that would be the case for him, and Bean eventually leaving and getting adopted by Bin. (Which probably means that his name was changed to Bean, lol imagine his first title was Missle Device or something)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And another important thing is this YouTube comment *Talking about the Dynamite Plant
Tumblr media
IM USING THAT AS CANON. BEAN OWNS A FACTORY. Which is kinda funny, like you’re trouble as a duck but you own a whole friggin factory???
*Unrelated but with Bean being a project, his relationship with Speedy will be interesting, first starting off with: Why does Bean look like Speedy? Well the Battle Kukku Lord probably has a perfection problem, thinking that Speedy will be a perfect leader lead him to designing Bean similar to his son. Also Bean leaving is most likely based on his want for freedom. Which really chains up with Speedy’s lore but I ain’t ready for that, Speedy deservers his own talk. But for now, ye, Bean and Speedy VERY MUCH DISAGREE ON THEIR BELIEFS
