Whoa didn’t think I’d see y’all again. I’m glad you’ve grown as a person, it has been years so hopefully most people who followed this blog back then have too.

ya ya, i would say the content on here is more tamer than how i (mod iku btw) perceived and drew red and blue as, but yeah overall i’ve moved on and grown as a person

bit of rambling cause it's dickfigures related, but won't really tag it or anything, technically it's critical but i mean, dickfigures will be dickfigures so.

seeing how i (mod iku) started shipping red and blue based off i guess the trope friends to lovers and seeing how their dynamic was "close despite being opposites and pissing the other off most of time" is weird to look at now especially considering how i played into tamely bad stereotypes of mlm relationships and fetishized them (at some point i labeled myself as a cis girl so that's something), and even more weirder when you realize the source material is categorized as having adolescent boy humor of dick jokes with a mixture of edgy, offensive "humor". and the fact that i also influenced lots of other kids at the time to watch it despite all of that was just a terrible mistake on my part. i rarely remember the specific contents of the show itself, but i do know being into it at a much younger age then i should've been was bad and detrimental to my development as a teen. the circumstances of my personal life definitely contributes to me hyperfixating on it and getting instant gratification, but looking back at it, it was such a weird and bad thing for me to be into given that i was like 12 years old. and as a plus, the lack of proper close guy friends dynamics in media at that time (at least from what i was consuming) really influenced seeing red's and blue's dynamic as only a shipping thing; the idea of needing more close friend dynamics of 2 guys especially showing affection and care and the idea of that two guy friends can still be shipping can co-exist. also i was really lonely back then and i did break up with my girlfriend at the time, but yeah those are my thoughts. red and blue can be a cute dynamic, but also given their actual dynamic and personalities, it seems more like a canon divergence thing from what i've been doing for years.
