Monuments, museums and zoos and space things, and of course purple food made up a fun trip to DC.

Started as a work trip at NASAs Goddard center, where we got a tour of the clean rooms and giant vacuum chambers. Also got to see a couple monuments after work with some coworkers (and hear all about their abusive fathers). Also got to check out the cute harbor town of Annapolis.

And then over the weekend got to see more monuments, go to the air and space museum, an art exhibit, the zoo, and finally got a picture with the boy.

We also ate a lot of good food with cute drinks. The highlight being the purple patch a Filipino restaurant that uses a lot of ube and thus has lots of purple food. 💜😍

It was a really lovely trip and a nice break from the day to day (of course now I’ve come back to a todo list a mile long but such it goes
