Eddie didn't mind Barry. He just never got to meet the guy, and then he was in a coma for most of the year. Eddie had learned several things about him thanks to Iris and Joe who liked to talk about him, and several coworkers who would often ask Joe about his status.

When Barry woke up, Eddie felt like he already knew him so well, and after meeting him it wasn't that hard to fall in love with him.

The way Cisco Ramon and Hartley Rathaway are the definition of Academic Rivals always has me laughing because one of my favourite tropes is Academic Rivals to Lovers. We have the lovable, funny one, and then the sarcastic, smug one with a superiority complex. Not to mention - they have tension.

Also Hartley is gay so I'm already halfway there to being canon.

This episode gave me a mild panic attack and I am not kidding… I literally almost threw up. I was feeling WAY too many things.

I love this show. When it aired I was 15, and I never watched past like the third episode… and now that it’s almost been a decade I decided I needed some Tom Cavanagh in my life and by golly did I GET Tom Cavanagh.

I also got all these characters (minus Iris whom I dislike with a burning passion) that I LOVE. And then my MANS had to go and kill my BOY 😭
