I was thinking, Donald Duck is called "Paperino" in italian, in the same way Daisy Duck got "Paperina", and if you work logic on that, you will see that is like, in english, their names were "Donald" and "Donalda"!! Italian Donald shows up in home with his girlfriend for the first time and Della is like DAFUQ

AND IT HAPPENS because in portuguese, Grandma Duck's real name is Donalda! So, yeah, Mrs. Donalda raised her grandson Donald (that by the way was probably named by his dad Quackmore in honor of his own mother)!!

Interview with Pauline Donalda (in french)/March 16, 1966.

Pauline Donalda (née Lightstone), was a Montreal-born opera singer of international renown who was made an Officer of the Order of Canada for her contributions to Canadian arts and culture.

Born into a family of Eastern European immigrants, Donalda studied opera at the Paris Conservatory with financial support from the influential politician Donald Smith (Lord Strathcona). In honor of his sponsorship, she later adopted the stage name “Donalda.” After a successful debut in Nice, France, in 1904, her artistic career quickly took off. In 1905, she sang at London’s Covent Garden for the Queen of England and at The Brussels Royal Opera House. In 1906, she sang alongside tenor Enrico Caruso in a Verdi opera. These performances earned her tremendous acclaim. In the same year, she joined the Manhattan Opera House, founded by the American musical comedy composer and producer Oscar Hammerstein. When World War I broke out, she suspended her career and organized benefit concerts to support the war effort.

From 1922 on, she devoted herself to teaching voice. Twenty years later, in 1942, she founded the Opera Guild of Montreal, which went on to stage the first Canadian performances of many operas.

Donalda was among the first women to promote opera. In so doing, she helped promote both Canada and the Jewish community worldwide.

I have had this case on my “to-write-about” list for years.  I learned about the disappearance of Edna Donalda (Howerton) Harris from a forum entry posted to both Ancestry.com and Genealogy.com, which was written by her granddaughter, Shelly, who has been publicly searching for her. Harris’ daughter, Jo-Anna, replied to one of Shelly’s forum threads stating that she is searching for her, too. …

Makaron konjac 70 kcal~

Jadę jutro z klasą na wycieczkę i na obiad będziemy zajeżdżać do mc donalda, więc oczywiście nie mogę nic tam zjeść, bo w maku jedzą tylko świnie które nie szanują any. Postanowiłam że zrobię własny obiad i po raz 1 kupiłam makaron konjac i wyszło mega pysznie bo już trochę próbowałam więc się z wami podzielę bardzo łatwym przepisem !

200 g makaronu konjac

125g ogórka (akurat ja tyle dodałam ale może być inna gramatura tylko kaloryczność się zmieni)

50 ml (5 łyżek) sosu sojowego, ja użyłam sosu z biedronki

Łyżka bazylii suszonej

Łyżka papryki mielonej

Całość 70 kcal.

Słyszałam że wiele osób ma problemy z żołądkiem po tym makaronie, ja będę go jeść jutro w takiej większej porcji dopiero 1 raz więc zobaczę czy coś mnie złapie ale ważne że nie zawiodę any.

Trzymajcie się słoneczka! Wiem że jest trudno ale wierzę że przetrwamy to całe gówno i już niedługo będziemy najlepszą wersją siebie.🩷
